"Piling bacon on a cheesesteak sounds like a bright idea. As does the “Steel City,” which lines crispy French fries along the bottom of one of South Street’s popular sandwiches. A Man v. Food-like “misteak challenge” involves attempting to polish off five pounds of cheesesteak in return for a gift card and a photo on the Wall of Shame. Regular cheesesteaks (8 or 12 inches) at this Bethesda carryout joint fall under $12. Also available for delivery on GrubHub and Uber Eats." - Tim Ebner

The cheesesteaks were so tasty and fresh. Not to mention super big and the bread was super fresh!!! They did not disappoint! The food truck was in weird spot and not really in the public eye but it was a great find!

Best cheesesteak I've had outside of Philly. Nothing in the whole nova area compares. Best classic toppings and cheeses, the staff are incredibly nice and quick with the orders. Don't pay too much mind to the pictures of a brick and mortar as it's a food truck but their location is permanent. Also the fries were fantastic.

One of the best places to get a steak and cheese sandwich. The staff is also super friendly.

Update (09/03/2021) - Horrible!!!! The chicken cheese steak was dry. Little to no cheese whiz. This is not south street style steak and cheese. I will never order here again. Waste of money. My orginial review was from 3yrs again. Not sure if it switch management. But you can see there was a major change. Great food. Friendly service. Chilled environment. Open until 3 am and they have cheese whiz. New favorite cheesesteak spot.

It was not a bad steak and cheese however they completely ignored the fact that I ordered other toppings other than steak and cheese. The fries were airy and light but had no salt. I probably won’t return to the place again, Especially when the steak and cheese with fries cost $15

Absolutely AMAZING food! The owner is the one who made our sandwiches and fries last night and he not only has great food, he's a super nice guy! If you're ever in Bethesda, Md, definitely go get a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and fries. Thank you so very much for the DELICIOUS DINNER, we'll definitely be back again! Blessings and peace to you : )

Very over priced and food was sub par I paid 40 dollars after tip for a small cheesesteak extra small is what I got 6 tiny wings not very good and French fries. I ordered my cheesesteak with no onion and it came with onions all over impossible to pick off I couldn't eat it. When I called for replacement they said delivery was unavailable although they were just here 5 minutes ago. So I just paid 40 dollars for fries and 6 tiny wings. Don't trust the photos on there menu or online totally misleading. Don't waist your money

Best place for lunch ever. This is a classic spot for those who want some of the best fries and cheesesteaks other than Philly. The service is more than polite and the food would have made up for it anyway. An unforgettable experience is awaiting your taste buds!
