Southern Exchange Ballrooms

I've photographed several weddings at Southern Exchange Ballrooms and it's a beautiful venue! There is a ton of open space for the ceremony, reception, and portraits. Depending on your timeline you may even have time to go outside for a street portrait. Highly recommended!

The Venue is lovely and Large. I photographed my couple here which also got featured in Black Bride Magazine and everyone was beyond enthralled with the large beautiful venue. The staff is friendly. The couple had access to the cocktail hour upstairs. The ceremony room was flipped for the reception.

Great event space in Atlanta. Often used for weddings, galas and fundraisers. Needs a bit of a refresh to the escalators but overall still a great venue.

Absolutely lovely. Across the street from the Ritz. I went for a holiday gala. The venue was stunning and the staff was warm & friendly

Harveys Booth had the pleasure of providing our entertainment services at Southern Exchange for a recent wedding, and it was fantastic! The venue offered lighting that enhanced every photo taken. Our different photobooth options, including love confessional booth and the interactive 360° booth, kept the guests entertained and engaged all night. The staff at Southern Exchange were incredibly accommodating, making the setup process seamless. We loved capturing the joyful moments and creating lasting memories for everyone involved. Highly recommend Southern Exchange for anyone looking to host a memorable event!

This venue was amazing. Every room was a different vibe. No matter what your event is, there is a place for you.

I give this place a three out of five. It is in a prime location in the heart of downtown Atlanta so that is definitely great when having a large event. It is also absolutely beautiful compared to a lot of other venues that you may go to for weddings and other parties. I came here for a wedding recently, and I will say I just didn't completely like the set up. There were so many pillars that were blocking the stage in the main area where you could see what was going on with the wedding to the point that I felt like I missed a lot of what was happening at the wedding just because of where I was sitting so I feel like it is definitely beautiful but logistics wise, it makes it hard to see things if you're not seated in a certain area.

Great venue in Atlanta. I've attended several events here over the years. The only con is the escalators could use a refresh.

I recently attended a great nieces wedding. The ballroom was simply breathtaking! But as a senior, i was disappointed in the fact that the elevator & escalators were not working @ all... This is concerning bc every place should be handicapped accessible regardless of the event!!

Currently here for an event and when I tell you I am in awe of this place. It has such an elegant and classy feel to it without feeling too overdone. I was just sitting here looking at all the nice chandeliers picturing getting married here or having my reception. Such a dreamy place. Not sure if the staff here are hired just for the event or are actual staff of the ballroom, but they are all super nice and accommodating as well. Once my single self finds the love of my life, I will definitely have this place in mind when booking a celebration area!

I crashed a wedding here. I'm not even kidding. Please don't arrest me. I won't tell you which wedding or which date or even which month (I don't know how many weddings there are here), but the food was amazing! My girl was off flirting with the many bachelors (and married men) and 2 people gave her their number (but she has pink hair and wears porn heels so that happens endlessly), and as for me, I met the bride, and was like how have you been, you look great! Fun times. A lot of the food was clearly going to waste (someone actually told us this, thinking we were going up for "seconds" when we were checking it out), so I don't feel bad at all. I have been here legitimately, as well. As in, not crashing a wedding. But that story is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more boring. Anyway, the venue is wonderful. The rates are well out of my range but if I were rich and wanted to do an awesome wedding reception downtown this would be the place.

I was invited here for the 29th Annual No Kid Hungry Event. This is a newly renovated venue and it is spectacular!

Beautiful, luxurious event space. It needs little decor because of how nice the space is. Went for a wedding and it was very simple yet elegant. The only few downsides are there is no parking dedicated to the venue and if there are multiple events going on, you can hear the others which can be not good. The ceremony went well but we could hear the music from the prom in the other room.

Beautiful venue! My friend got married there Sunday!! I've the beautiful chandelier made the room! The white columns and the decoration! It was simple but gorgeous! They did a great job changing everything over from the ceremony to the reception!! The bartenders were very attentive and they had a great flow with the food coming out!! Everything seem like everything was setup to what the bride wanted!! Loved the photo booth and the dessert table she wanted! It was a great and joyous occasion!! The staff was supper helpful!! I would highly recommend this venue!

I hosted an event at 200 Preachtree and it was flawelss. After 7 years of hosting events, I don't take lightly those who are as on the ball as this team was and will definitely be back!
