This place is amazing for home decor. They sell amazing furniture as well. Seasonal and normal indoor and outdoor home decor. The prices are so much better than you'll find anywhere else. The store is big and can be overwhelming but its organized well.

If you need decorations, this is the place. They also have a large selection of home goods as well.

I’ve lived in six states and have never known a store like this one. The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Customer service is top notch. It would take a miserable person to say anything negative about this place. It’s literally my happy place 💕

My videos were not taken to post so the quality is not there but it gives you an idea, of the many many rows of merchandise. You want a theme for your home they have them all. I actually didn't even to go down all the rows, that side will be next trip out there.

The most wonderful selection of artificial flowers and foliage you could ever ask for. Grapevine wreaths are very reasonably priced. And a huge variety of miscellaneous decor items for decorating. They also have a fabulous selection of furniture. So fortunate to have this store in Plant City Florida. Great prices! And great customer service!

Very nice store. Unique items including holiday decorations and furniture. If you’re looking to spruce up your place for the holiday season, Southern Hospitality has almost ever Christmas decoration you can imagine. They also have Christmas Trees. Most of the furniture is one of a kind and taken from the sales floor. I noticed their return policy is 7 days. Parking is good.

We ordered a $9,000 living room and dining room set. Our delivery didn't go very smoothly, but Shelly Connell, one of the owners of Southern Hospitality, worked really hard to remedy the situation quickly. She even sent us a beautiful card and gift card, which we are so grateful for. Overall, we are extremely happy with our purchase and plan to shop here again very soon. This store has great solid wood furniture, plus home decor items. We punched our master bedroom set from them when my wife and I got married in 1990. We still have it and it's still solid like a rock and holding up like real furniture should. I'm glad to see they still make quality stuff. We came down to visit family and had to stop to see what's new. We did purchase a few decor items.

What a wonderful experience! Friendly employees and an excellent selection of home decor and furniture. Time and money both well spent here.

I had heard about this place months ago but it is over an hour away from my house so I put notes in my calendar to visit when I went to the Strawberry Festival this year. I was NOT disappointed! It was like Oldtime Pottery and Michaels on steroids. It took me almost 90 minutes to browse everything. They have the most beautiful and unique dining tables and bedroom sets. I didn't know they even had furniture. I thought it was for just for smaller home decor. You can find something for any season or holiday you want to decorate for. It was hard not to buy everything I loved. I will be making a yearly trip just to visit here. Downtown Plant City is very quaint with lots of antique shops to browse also.

We love to stop by during fall and Christmas. We visited the Friday before the big craft show. We were a bit surprised at how they were still stocking for the show. We have been patrons for many years and find that the prices vary greatly. Some items are good and others are way high priced. We love to visit with friends while we browse the store. They have many beautiful table scapes set up with the furniture.

How anyone could give this store less than 5 stars makes no sense! We have used the the framing department to custom make mirrors for our house and to also do a shadowbox for us. Both times the work was superior. We have also bought furniture from them on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. The craft area is a crafters dream.

What a waste of time. It was a disappointing experience. Southern Hospitality is a pricey, disorganized store.

I like the store. It does have a lot of this and that but overall it's a great store and if you're looking for a clay pot or ceramic pot is the place to go there are other places around but it's close by and there's a good selection. I noticed that Lowe's and Home Depot are now only carrying plastic or very few clay pots or ceramic pots and I don't like plastic so it's a great place for outside gardening to pick up a nice garden pot. it's always nice to walk through the store. The sales people in the store are very friendly and helpful. Yes they do have a lot of things that aren't my taste, but I have purchased things in the store that I still have and keep in My Home so I give the store a five star .

I've worked there for about two years And wish I never left When I say family this is a family everyone works as a team I everyone treats each other with respect They've picked me off my knees and helped me back on my feet One of the best working environments I've ever seen Whenever we had issues with furniture for customers or upon delivery don made sure that we did everything we could to make the customer happy This is a truly honest company with their employees and customers I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a job or a customer looking for some nice furniture for their beautiful home

Southern Hospitality is a large furniture store and home decor center under one roof. Plan about 1 1/2-2 hours to browse thru the entire store. The store is divided into 2 sides, so you do not have to walk thru the whole place. The furniture section has dinettes, living rooms, Bedrooms, tv consoles, recliners, and many unique furniture pieces that you would not find everywhere. They also have furniture catalogs which you can sit and browse thru, and a helpful staff that will order any item you see. The home decor section consists of aisle after aisle of home decor items. Each aisle has a specific theme such as baskets, wall hangings, artificial flowers, wedding and party items, etc. There is also a custom picture framing section. Plenty of parking is right in front of the store.

Drove by the place a few times without knowing exactly what it was and finally decided to stop in. It's a super cool place full of lots a things for the home. Everything from artificial flowers to beautiful real wood furniture. I just need to go back when I have more time to make it all in.

We love to visit Southern hospitality. It's similar to a Hobby Lobby with a high-end furniture store attached. You will find really unique style home decor items here as well as furniture that you can't find anywhere else. Definitely worth the trip.

What a gem in Plant City--Southern Hospitality. What is not to love about this store. Rows upon rows of decor for the change in seasons, Halloween, and of course already Christmas​. Beautiful​ and well​-priced​ foilage for decorating whatever season you may be really into. One side of the store is decor and the other side has furniture. Chairs, couches, dining tables. In a variety of colors and finish​ You surely​ can get your steps in

Discovered this gem a couple weeks ago. Wow! What an amazing place. Framing department seems to have every type of frame you could imagine. They carry Magnolia by Chip and Joana Gaines. They carry really nice furniture and an enormous amount of home decor. I just wish I had allowed myself more time to look. This is not a place you can just pop in to explore. Give yourself a couple hours!!!

I've been in the store a few times and I love it, every time I come in I find something different. I just wish they would get more USF stuff but the selection is unbelievable and it's a huge store so plan on spending a good amount of time they are. They carry high quality furniture and all kinds of unique home Decor. The girls that work there are very nice and accommodating, I highly recommend you check out this store!

We drove an hour to shop at this store. Let me tell you, they have everything you are looking for and more. You should plan on spending at least 2 hours here strolling through the aisles. My mom misinformed me that this place was inexpensive. It's not, their items are very pricey. So I decided to stock up on Christmas items, in March, 75% off. I bought many cool items for 20 dollars. I wasn't interested in furniture but had a look and their kitchen tables are beautiful and very modern. They carry the Magnolia, Joanna Gaines, line which are good quality but also very pricey. I couldn't bring myself to by a Magnolia wooden crate for 50.00. Overall, this store is a great experience.

Great selection of Magnolia Home Furniture. Their staff was polite while in store. That's the only good things I can say. The buying experience was awful. Spent over an hour with the sales women while she struggled to find product codes and pricing for items. Finally settle on table. They couldn't find the product # for the chairs I wanted so the assumption that was made by the sales person (and the manager) was that they must have been discontinued. Strange because I found them at a different retailer and had no trouble ordering them . That's ok, $1000 sale that I wanted to go to them because I like to support local business but hey - fine with me. I call the very next morning to order the table over the phone. I'm told the table isn't in stock and they need to order it which will take 3 maybe 4 maybe 6 weeks. I call to check on the order around 3 weeks and it was no where to be found. Turns out it was in the wrong name. Ok. No biggie. Table finally arrives and I get a call telling me I can pick it up. I advised no...I'd requested it be delivered. Quite rudely the women that called me said "I don't see that. We didn't even charge you for delivery (pause) I don't even have your address (sigh and possibly a snort)." Begrudgingly she takes my address and schedules delivery for the 4th. I was surprised it would be on a Holiday but didn't complain. Delivery day - the moment the table top comes in the House I know it's the wrong table. I never - for one second - mentioned this table or even showed interest. Delivery guy (very nice), calls the store. O - the table I wanted well that table is in stock (as I assume it was 5 weeks earlier), but o no, they can't come back today. The delivery puts the manager on the phone with me, who proceeds to tell me he remembers the night we were in and the sales women had a headache. He's sorry, but they'd actually gone out of their way to deliver the wrong table to me today. Funny, I never mentioned or requested you come out on the Fourth!? But your sales women had a headache and clearly I shouldn't be upset for waiting 5 weeks for the wrong table and then having to wait another 2 weeks for the right one. The delivery men just left my house and I can't believe that after such a disappointing experience they didn't give me even a 5% discount. Not a waiver of delivery charges - nothing but excuses and some kind of a half hearted apology and reminder that well, they'd gone out of the way to come out on the holiday. I always support local business when I can. And I was truly impressed with their selection, and the mom and pop feel of the store. I will NEVER, EVER shop here again. And I will tell all my Magnolia loving friends and followers to find a different local business that better understands customer service.

This is a large warehouse of wholesale priced furniture and decor. Great for centerpieces for large functions, art basics, artificial flowers....I even bought a pub table and 4 chairs here! It's a fun place for a rainy day. 2014 update. Giant giant store. Tons of fake flowers, table decorations, craft supplies, furniture. Also has outdoor furniture, pottery, yard art, candles, frames. Some big furniture prices are ridiculously high, others are extreme bargains. Lots of holiday décor, premade wreaths. Store is on the "dirty" side in the left half (crafts).

If you get the chance to meet the family that owns this store, you will find they are some of the finest people on the planet. They are ALL hard working and take pride in their community. They are very loved in our town of Plant City. I love their large selection of furniture and have furnished several homes from their store through the years. If you can't find what you need in their store they allow you to look through their catalogs and order what you want. We are about to furnish another home with their furniture and they always make the experience stress free. You will want to decorate your entire house when you see what's available in their store!

Have you ever needed to buy something and not known where to get it? Having a hard time finding that last piece to finish decorating? Or looking for something to inspire decorations? This place has it. They have a very wide selection of a lot of different things. It is a small business with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. If you see something you like it, buy it. It may not be there next time. My only real complaint is the price. Some things are a bit expensive, so I don't buy those items from here. They carry everything from Knickknack a to full furniture pieces, crafting supplies and a customization table where they make wreathes. They will also fix the furniture if it has blemishes. In addition, it's a small business! Always great to support local business

This is an interesting store. When you enter you will find the right half of the warehouse filled with furniture. If you are looking for an electric fireplace they have a great selection. To the left there are a variety of items for the home, you really never know what they will have. In the summer they have a nice selection of items for your garden as well. I purchased a lovely lion statue for my entryway. I have mainly purchased mainly floral arrangements, outdoor and Christmas items.

bought a chair and paid $700.00.. very uncomfortable...called store and asked how could this be handled....3 weeks have gone by and STILL NO RESPONSE FROM STORE. I will NEVER go back .

I live in South Tampa - about a 45 minute drive from Plant City - and it is well worth my time and effort to go to Southern Hospitality for all my custom framing needs. The ladies in this department are great at helping you pick out framing options - and the prices are about 50% less than most places I have been without sacrificing in quality. Highly recommended!

This Store is BIG!! They have so much and very interesting things. The staff is excellent, they are very nice and helpful. I will be going back very soon because I ran out of time to see what they all have.

Neat place with a lot of stuff to check out. Prices seemed fair for the most part. Furniture was a bit high in my opinion. Very friendly staff and a clean place. Worth a visit.

So glad we discovered this place. Has a wonderful assortment of home furniture and furnishings, as well as outdoor items. I even found a solar chandelier for my "she shed"! Also brought home a giant tortoise for my yard. There is definitely something for everyone here.

Tons of nice home decor but way more expensive than you'd think. Definitely a good place to pick up wedding or crafting supplies, but wouldn't recommend this place for furniture due to the cost.

Wow! This place has anything and everything you can possibly imagine. Looking for a new grandfather clock? SH has it. Looking for a new electronic fireplace? SH has it. Looking for a sculpture of a venomous snake ready to strike? SH has it. Looking for an apron that says "Super Christian Mom"? SH has it. This place is a mecca of all things decorative for your home. Walking up, there is a nice selection of quality wood crafted furniture such as adirondack chairs, swings, etc. The inside of this place is huge, with a large selection of furniture to your right and all things crafty/decorative to your left. I could have spent hours in here, but unfortunately I did have to go back to this thing called my job. I walked the aisles and there was so much to see. The furniture is definitely on the traditional/southern style, so if modern decor is your thing, you probably won't find much to your liking. There is an enormous selection of craft supplies, florals, etc. if you are into crafting. SH also has tons of chotchkies, candles, southern decor, wedding/party favors, frames, flags, holiday decorations and much much more. If you are ever in Plant City, definitely stop on by. I know I will be back here again soon!

Over the past 15 years I've furnished my house several times from Southern Hospitality in Plant City Florida. Just recently I purchased a new kitchen table and passed down my 10 year old Farm Table from Southern Hospitality to my daughter. It's in like new condition but I wanted something new. If you want quality, this is the place to go. The SA are extremely helpful and never change. The same person helped me a few weeks ago that helped me 10 years ago. They are super knowledgeable and helpful.
