So, it was a pleasant Saturday evening and I decided to drive south Shreveport to purchase a dozen glazed donuts.
It was probably 8pm (no where near closing time); so, I was like 'cool' donuts HOT after 4'o clock, Great!
I decided to go through the drive-thru (due to no cars in line, and I didn't want to walk inside, either). There was a sign on the menu written with a black sharpie marker which stated, "please pull forward".
I did..like so! The sign was courteous, but not so the employee. As I drove to the window, I knew exactly what I wanted to order.
I said, "one dozen of glazed donuts, please" but I did say, "hi, how are you this evening, first" (no response, then I placed my order as such). She immediately told me, "$7.48", okay, I'm sure this is the most requested order.
Anyways, she gave me a half-donkey smile, then took my card. Pushed the window back open with force and rolled her eyes at me. I was thinking, "heck, I know I have the money.. did my card not go through..?" Then, she handed me my receipt to sign and slammed my card on the counter (I'm looking dumbfounded like.. OooooK).
Upon receiving my John Hancock, she snapped the receipt, shoved my card in my hand (upon retrieval), gave me the donuts with the box not closed, and napkins slightly on top.. the napkins fell on the ground while I was trying to secure the donut box myself. The employee rolled her eyes, gave me a half smile and walked away!
I don't know her nor does she know me besides this interaction.. I said all of that to say this.. CUSTOMER SERVICE brings customers!! Please be a little more pleasant and keep your problems elsewhere!
Thankfully, the donuts were GREAT! That's why I gave this review two stars.
