"Less than an hour's drive from New York City, Southern Table beckons patrons with a taste of the South in the tranquil suburbs of Pleasantville, New York." - Ty Gaskins

"Just a few bites of this food and you might think you’re in Dixie—it's that convincing. Polished concrete floors, steel chairs and whitewashed brick walls emblazoned with animal silhouettes set a modern country look, and the open kitchen’s cacophony is part of the fun. From grits bowls to fixin’s, this menu is littered with winning renditions of Southern classics. Watermelon salad, shrimp and grits, shrimp jambalaya and pulled pork sandwiches are good bets, but don’t even think about starting a meal here without the cheddar biscuits. Bourbon-glazed donuts or key lime cheesecake keep with the theme at dessert. The communal table requires advanced notice and at least eight guests—to share a suckling pig with all the fixin’s or Cajun-style seafood boil." - Michelin Inspector

I recently checked out Southern Table kitchen and had a really amazing meal. The burger was cooked perfectly, with a juicy patty and a generous amount of cheese. It came with crispy sweet potato fries that were a great side. But the star of the show was the Nashville hot chicken! It had a fantastic kick to it, but wasn't so overwhelming that I couldn't enjoy the flavor of the chicken itself. The atmosphere was relaxed and casual, with a cool, modern vibe. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a great experience and I'd definitely recommend it! Pro-tip: If you like spicy food, don't miss the Nashville hot chicken!

My husband took my father and brother in law. They all had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the food and drinks that were ordered! Thank you for always giving the best to your customers! Happy New Year!

Google
Greeted wonderfully by Brenna and there are no bad tables in the place. Fantastic server named Karen. The manager, Alex was very warm and inviting as well. Most notably, the outdoor seating (available all year round) with heated lamps made for a great experience. .

While we had great expectations for our first Thanksgiving turkey purchased from Southern Table, unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The majority of the meat was not fully cooked and pink throughout most of the white meat portions. It was barely touched and sadly had to toss out 80% of it. It was pretty surprising, given our past enjoyable experiences at the restaurant to have such a poorly cooked turkey (especially after spending over $200 on it!). If you’re looking to order a turkey, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Google
Excellent food! Split the rack of ribs with my friend and we were extremely full and satisfied. Ribs are delicious! Cornbread was fantastic and the drinks were great as well. The outdoor seating area was nice, but we sat inside because of the rain. Highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back soon!

Google
Great outdoor seating area - fully covered pergola in case of rain + no worries about the sun beating down on you; they also have large electric fans which provided a gentle breeze + I saw they have infrared heaters for the colder months. Food was great - portions are large, salads are yummy, mac n cheese was scrumptious and fried plantains were perfectly cooked. Service was perfect. Update: Sep 2024 -- Overall our experience was great but there was a large party of 8 put right in the center of the outdoor seating area, and they were pretty loud which made it hard for my elderly mother to hear. I would suggest putting larger parties like that on the periphery. And the key lime pie was unfortunately not very citrusy and the crust tasted like it had been slightly burned. I won''t be ordering that again.

Definitely one of the best hamburgers I’ve had in Westchester! Service was excellent. The brunch menu French toast was very good also! Definitely will be back

Yelp
Perfect comfort food brunch spot. Normally I start my reviews with the food but the level of service and attention to detail needs to be the headliner. Not only was the service attentive and timely but the waiter was also engaging and took the time to make our brunch the full experience. The next day I received an email from the owner thanking me for dining with them and it also had a link to reserve with them again through a special link to ensure even better experiences next time. Not sure how they could top today's experience but I will definitely be back to find out. And while this was assuredly an automated email, I still loved the attention to detail and making our business feel valued. Now for the good stuff. It was very hard to decide what to eat or drink because everything looked and sounded amazing. The biscuits and gravy with poached eggs were amazing. The bacon and eggs avocado toast was also very good. The unlimited mimosas for $25 was a deal we couldn't pass up but next time I will try some of their specialty cocktails especially after reading the descriptions. And all of the dishes they were being served around us gave us fomo time and time again. There is plenty of seating indoor, covered outdoor and outdoor seating without cover, for those amazing New York days. There are funny signs decorating the interior as well as an urban, rustic feel. Reservations were easy and the experience was everything you could ask for.

Yelp
I've gotten takeout from here a few times and it's always really good. This was my second time dining in. The space is beautiful. It's very open and I love the decorations. We were seated right away and our waiter was really nice. We started with the fried green tomatoes and spicy cauliflower which were both delicious and perfectly crispy. We also got the sweet plantains- they were good but the cream sauce it came with tasted like watered down sour cream and seemed unnecessary for the dish. I got the crispy chicken sandwich as my main dish. I felt like it was a little too salty. For the most part, the food was good and the service is great. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Wanted some comfort food so figured we try southern table. Got some drinks apps and tried their chicken Service was good as far as making sure they took our dirty plates even asking while we ate still picking was a bit much Spicy tuna on crispy rice was delicious and highlight of our meal Nashville Chciken was ok Crispy chicken were cutlets on the sandwich not a nice seasoned breast piece as I thought I'd get Cutlet wasn't seasoned Bummer We ate outside which was cool Wasn't as crowded as we expected but maybe we were there early Will have to return to try other things But we have had better chicken unfortunately

Yelp
I always make a detour to this restaurant when I am in the area. Fun, rustic urban chic decor. Open kitchen. Long bar with televisions that don't disturb the main dining areas (indoor, outdoor but closed in and exterior). The knowledgeable front of house team makes excellent suggestions and is attentive without being intrusive. The fried green tomatoes are very good. I recommend asking for them with honey mustard. I am partial to the Chinese chicken salad with romaine lettuce instead of mixed greens. My partner favors a chicken sandwich that he gets blackened. Cocktails are inventive and fun. And burgers are always a winner. They have a large menu that can accommodate any palate. Prices are on the higher side for the area, but food is delicious. If you like Southern style home cooking, give it a try!

Yelp
Came here for my besties bday in November. No one had ever been to this place but she did her research for a southern style restaurant with brunch. The guacamole you can tell was freshly made and I loved that they let you pick the spice level. They have an option for bottomless brunch and a plus is that it's not a forced thing that the whole table has to participate in. Our server was great and answered all our questions and was able to accommodate any adjustments to certain dishes. Will highly recommend this place.

Yelp
Southern table is a fantastic southern style restaurant with some of the best fried chicken in all of Westchester. Definitely has an upscale feel but still a cozy vibe. Service was attentive and friendly. I could not recommend the Nashville chicken enough. Is was hot and juicy with every bite blowing by mind. Theres so much to choose from on the menu and i definitely plan on going again and again to try as many entrees as I can.

Yelp
If there was more food like this in Westchester, I might consider moving there. Not really, but for my many friends who do live in the Best (their nickname, not mine), I am down to come to Southern Table every single time we hang out, because I fucking LOVE the food here. I haven't eaten everything on the menu, admittedly, but I'm not exaggerating when I say I was very much into every single thing we ordered. In order from Goddamn Delicious to Gimme That Right Now It's The Best Thing I Ate All Week, we got the brussels sprouts, the hot chicken burrito, the asador corn, the fried chicken sandwich, the shrimp and grits, the buffalo molasses wings, the firecracker calamari, and the smoked ribs. That's everything, and it was all so, so good. We ordered the ribs for the table, and my buddies are lucky I didn't just grab them all and run for it. I love ribs with all my heart, and these are outstanding. The service is also on point. Our waiter knew his business, and got it all right, including asking us early and often if we needed to reup on drinks, and we did. I tried both the Smokey Mountain and the Southern Smoke (whiskey cocktails with some smoke), and I was quite pleased. That said, the bartender was deeply in the weeds on a busy Friday night, so someone should get her some help. Anyway, this is an excellent choice for dinner (and I imagine any other meal they serve). And I highly recommend ordering ribs for the table if you're a glutton like me.

Yelp
Always a great experience at Southern Table. Chef Pasquale always has amazing menu items and great specials. I would suggest making a reservation on weekends. It gets crowded around dinner hours. Always clean with a friendly and inviting staff. It's a great atmosphere wether casual dining or a date night. Just a great atmosphere. The food is beyond amazing. I've never ordered something I didn't like. All the food has thought and extra care put into it. We had the French Onion Wontons as an appetizer. A delightful surprise that I wish I had a few more of. It has melted Gruyère cheese which I never had before. The fried chicken is some of the best I've eaten that's not in the South. Very crispy and the meat is juicy. I had Carne Molida Tacos. You get three large tacos and a side of rice and beans. All amazing. Tuesday is now all you can eat tacos. I'm looking forward to trying all the different varieties. As a side we had a loaded potato. Lots of crispy delicious bacon with cheese, sour cream and scallions. Can't wait to go back. #Birdlife

Yelp
I have been wanting to try Southern Table since last Summer. I finally got there last Sunday night. Given a choice to sit in the comfortable looking dining room, or the outdoor patio. We chose the patio. Wait staff was very attentive. Blood Orange Margarita was great. Chips and salsa were on the table to enjoy with drinks. My reason for going, fried chicken with biscuits and sausage gravy, was all I expected . 3 pieces of juicy chicken on biscuits and perfectly done sausage gravy. Grilled salmon didn't impress my dining partner, but the roasted potatoes did. No time for dessert, but will try next time I'm craving fried chicken and go to Southern Table for the best!

Daniel L.

Yelp
The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxed. We started with a few appetizers which were very good. I was a bit disappointed with the entrees we chose. The Chicken Pot Pie was surprisingly small as it was served in an Onion Soup Crock and the Southern Fried chicken looked as if they were pre-teen size. The tastes were good, but perhaps they're looking to trim my waist down a bit. I have to say the desserts were very good (Churros and the Biscuit Begniets).

Yelp
Was in NYC for the weekend catching up with some loved ones and was looking for a nice brunch place. Called for a desecration for this one, based on the menu, pictures of the food and the detailed reviews. We were sat down outside and they had a full house, definitely recommend calling for a reservation ahead of time to be safe. Cute outdoor lighting and heating too! The waitstaff were so nice and friendly, happy to answer our questions and provide recommendations to dishes. We got: CHICKEN & WAFFLES Buttermilk waffles topped with some deliciously spiced fried chicken. I'm pretty picky with my fried chicken and theirs checked all the boxes, we got the crunch, flavor, spices and tender meat. DELISH! The waffles weren't just a vehicle for the fried chicken because these could stand on their own as a dish, that lightly crispy exterior and fluffy interior is all I want with all my waffles. Nothing more satisfying than pouring the warm maple syrup all over this, so freaking tasty. Got salted watermelon cubes topped with fresh mint, if you haven't tried it, it's actually not bad, pretty good for a refresher between dishes. Chef delivered on this dish. DIRTY NASTY Comes with cheddar biscuits, topped with fried chicken AND sausage gravy. Need I say more?! MAN camera eats first couldn't even make it for this video. It smelled and looked too good to not get a couple bites in first. The biscuits were made just right! Not the lumps of dry dough with a semi-moist interior which is what most places do. Instead, you got a nice almost slightly crunchy exterior and just soft, doughy deliciousness in the interior. It had butteriness to it too! And the CHEDDAR! Light on it in my opinion. Shined through though! Making these biscuits stand out! That fried chicken is made with love and spice that's all I gotta say. That sausage gravy?! That stuff should be SOLD separately! So freaking good. Give me that on everything please Chef. SOUTHERN STYLE BISCUITS Biscuits made RIGHT! The biscuits have a nice almost slightly crunchy exterior and just soft, doughy deliciousness when you bite into it. It had butteriness to it too! Made with love. BENEDICT GRITS Classic, but cooked to perfection kinda grits. Topped with andouille sausage so you got the spices and smokiness from this kind of sausage. The hollandaise sauce was ladled on to this which made the whole dish creamy and tasty. Fresh scallions were sprinkled on top and all the flavors went very well together. CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH Buns were lightly toasted, but damn that buttermilk fried chicken just HIT the spot! Came topped with bacon, ranch and cheddar cheese sauce. Choice of a side of fries. Fries are nice and crispy the McDonald's kind when the fry guy gives you the good, fresh fries. Can't get enough of their fried chicken! All smiles and full bellies around the table. We WILL be back to try more of the menu, but I'm definitely getting more fried chicken and that sausage gravy! All good vibes here! Highly recommend stopping by here if you're in NY!

Yelp
Daniel who held Court over the bar was charming and accommodating. My cocktail was very generous with the alcohol. Daniel kindly changed it to a larger glass and added more mixer for my taste. The lobster roll was very fresh and delicious, accompanied by warm house made potato chips. Southern Table is just the kind of place I would like to celebrate Summer! Like a trip to the beach with a touch of Southern Hospitality!

James C.

Yelp
A little expensive however this place is soo good. I do wish they had more options and meal customizations but the quality is top notch

Val C.

Yelp
This is a very nice place to eat and fellowship with friends. It's always packed with people and there is always a wait time to be seated but it's enjoyable. The staff are nice and the food is decent. It's not southern in the way I'm used to cooking and experiencing soul food but it's a good try.

Catherine M.

Yelp
My family goes to southern table quite often and the food always looked incredible from their pictures. Finally had the pleasure of visiting for brunch and it did not disappoint. Very cute outdoor seating , it was a beautiful day so we decided to sit outside . Service was excellent, very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the Brie stuffed pretzel , the Sunday special "chicken and biscuits" , the chicken sandwich on brioche and a side order of southern biscuits . Everything was amazing and fresh . Very excited to return and try more ! My only complaint was that the bees started swarming our table mid meal and we rushed thru it because it was unbearable, they finally brought something to the table to deter them but was too late .

Yelp
Yummy food, great decor and service, go and enjoy for everyone and every foodie yup fun & yum oh yeah go go go !!!!

Yelp
This is my third time going to Southern Table and it's a favorite of mine. I love the variety of dishes they serve. Their drinks are really good, too. The staff is always warm and friendly. The vibes of this place is a nice elevated southern restaurant.

Carlos C.

Yelp
This could be the best "Southern Style" restaurant in the Hudson Valley. Southern Table uses locally sourced chicken for their meals, which not only is cool, but you can absolutely taste the difference of quality using a "fresher" ingredient. The care and attention they put into their food echos into the entire dining experience. Their service is fantastic and their drinks are delicious. Overall the entire dining experience at Southern Table is far above other similar themed restaurants in all of Westchester. Their "dirty nasty" could be the best biscuits, fried chicken and sausage gravy on the planet! LOL Very high "5 star" recommendation for this wonderful restaurant.

Bonnie G.

Yelp
The atmosphere here is so fun - you really feel like you're in Nashville at one of those big almost-chain feeling restaurants with big font on the slick menus and a big bar, which is transportive in a funny way. Like everyone's said, however, these are NOT Nashville prices. While the fried green tomatoes are a must-get and incredible, the fun kind of stopped there. We got the Nashville hot chicken with waffles (recommended on Yelp) and the hot chicken is smothered in paprika and chili powder, it's like the only flavor you can taste. If I come back, I'd get just the regular chicken. The waffles were delicious but the syrup it comes with was clearly a cheap Aunt Jemima-style syrup, it had that fake sugary taste to it which, for $25+ was surprising. The mac and cheese was pretty good, unsure if I'd get it again, but sold. Because the atmosphere is fun, I'd try it again with a friend for drinks.

Yelp
**Ambiance:** The restaurant boasts a beautifully open and clean environment, enhanced by tasteful lighting that adds to the overall charm. **Service:** The staff was welcoming and engaging, making it easy to discuss menu options and receive recommendations. Their pleasant demeanor contributed positively to the dining experience. **Food:** On a quest for authentic Southern cuisine, I discovered this delightful spot during a drive down from Poughkeepsie, thanks to Yelp. The passion fruit margarita was a standout for me, although the watermelon margarita didn't quite hit the mark. **Entrees:** We started with the corn, an homage to Mexican street corn. It was delicious, though a tad expensive for the portion size. The 'Big Nasty' -- a hearty plate of chicken and waffles smothered in gravy -- is a must-try for the famished. My wife enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich, praising its crispiness and juiciness. **Dessert:** Our meal concluded with an array of desserts including fried biscuit beignets and a warm chocolate plate featuring caramel popcorn, ice cream, and a whipped cream cone. The beignets, especially with their accompanying sauces, were my favorite. **Overall:** The restaurant impresses with its fantastic food and flavors, alongside excellent service. I'm eagerly looking forward to returning and satisfying my Southern food cravings.

Yelp
I enjoy my time here . The food is delicious and the staff is on point. Do t forget your cocktail.. recommend a smoky bourbon

Yelp
Hear me out! This is the best burger I've had in a while! Trust me on it. It is definitely high quality meat, the sauce is incredible and I highly highly recommend it. Their fries are so good and crispy too but this burger is definitely one of the best I've had. Also Scott our server today went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was exceptional. Despite the restaurant being busy he managed to make us feel like we were his top priority.

Yelp
I hate to write this review but as much as I write about the good, I have to also include the bad. I was really looking forward to eating at this spot. My fiancé had a tattoo scheduled around the corner from this restaurant so I thought it'd be a great place to kill some time and grab some good eats. I was wrong. The food was bad. Just really bad. First we ordered the daily special "Lobster Crispy Rice". Idk why I thought this was a simple fried rice but I couldn't be more wrong. Think a polenta cake made of rice? Topped with lobster and then doused with soy sauce? Idk what it was, but we asked the server (who was nice as can be) to please take it away after one bite. We then ordered the Mac and cheese and pulled pork sliders as a substitute for that atrocity, thinking it couldn't get worse. Boy, were we wrong. The pulled pork sliders were so moist, topped with massive amounts of mozzarella and a wet slice of tomato, all in between an UN-toasted bun. A wet, flavorless mess. I only took a picture of the mac and cheese (the sliders tried to make a little debut in the pic) because I couldn't believe how it looked compared to the picture I saw on google. Cheese soup? That may be giving it more credit than it deserves because soup is at least normally seasoned. I scraped off layers of cheese before I even found a noodle, and once I did...again...another wet, flavorless mess. We ended up asking for the entrees we ordered to not even come out. There was no way anything could be redeemed. The only saving grace was how nice the staff was. Both the manager and server felt badly but we kept insisting we knew this was not their fault. All we could do is hope that our genuine feedback about the food was received.

Rasheeda M.

Yelp
This review is mainly about customer service and delivery. I ordered fried chicken, Mac N cheese, and bread pudding from this restaurant yesterday. The fried chicken was delicious. Everything else was just okay. When I received my food via UberEats(see pictures) my bag of food was wide open and the fried chicken container was not completely closed. I called the restaurant and ask them to consider stapling the brown paper bag closed next time and the hostess apologized for the inconvenience graciously. Moments later I received a phone call from the general manager "Steve" who explained to me that they use a "red sticker" to close the bags. I then explained to him there was no red sticker or residuals of a sticker ever being on the bag. He then told me, that he "fried my chicken him self" (which is weird because as a professional chef who has worked in dozens of restaurants I have never seen a GM cook food but I digress) and further spoke over me to convince me there was a sticker on the bag. My feedback is that obviously the "sticker" technique is not working Steve. So go to staples and purchase a stapler and use that instead (like most restaurants I'VE worked at do). With that being said, my interaction with Steve was off putting and I won't be supporting this establishment again especially through UberEats. He accused me of being "angry" (which I was not ... I literally just called to give them feedback), and told me my problem was with UberEats and not the restaurant. Hypothetically, if you we're thinking of sticking your hands into someone's food, wouldn't you just put the sticker back on the bag. I truly believe there was never a sticker on the bag. Although the chicken was good Steve, the GM's job isn't to fry chicken. It's to deliver great customer service, over see the bar, over see the flow of deliveries and everything else Front of the House. Leave the cooking to the line cooks, sous Chef , and executive chef.

Michael G.

Yelp
Quality has drastically slipped over the past year. I sent back the fried chicken last time because it was obviously overcooked and dried out. The quality of service has also declined. They used to go the extra mile to please the patrons, but it's all taken for granted now. Not ready to write them off, but one more visit like the last one could easily make that happen.

Pete F.

Yelp
I loved southern table when they opened and they were consistent with high quality for quite a while (first 2-3 years) but the last 2 visits the food has dropped in quality. Still big servings but that makes it less enjoyable when the crispness of flavors is gone. It's just a big portion of sort of flavorful food. Still like their porch, and most of the servers are still quite professional but a bit of fraying around the edges in the kitchen. :-(

Tom H.

Yelp
This is the place to go when you are hungry for a good southern meal. Went with a group so we shared appetizers and all were really good. Excellent drinks and my tacos were excellent. Parking was a bit tough but there is a park across the street that didn't seem to have signs and I parked there safely. Confirm the address, Waze kept taking me past it so rounded the block 3 times before I found it. Excellent dinner spot and also good for groups.

Robbie R.

Yelp
Thought Price was a little high when i looked at menu... but food was definitely worth it! The portions were great and the food was delicious. Place inside is a great vibe and service is good

Nia A.

Yelp
A strong 3. Upon entering Southern Table Kitchen & Bar, you're introduced to a lovely crowd. A dining section separated by a bar room. Our waitress was attentive, but not the most informative when it came to some of our questions. For a Southern-food focused restaurant, their Mexican food options were the standouts. The complimentary salsa and tortilla chips were fantastic and the guacamole was incredibly fresh. Our fried chicken was lacking season and the ribs were OK. We'd come back to try more of the Mexican-inspired foods than Southern food options.

Stefania Z.

Yelp
Atmosphere: acoustical loud in there -especially during the brunch rush. The booth seating along the wall is just too high for their tables-so some of us are literally squeezing in and kinda awkwardly hovering over their food. Brunch- it's by far one of the best places for options for brunch. Had the Dirty Nasty...not pretty by any means...but Jesus Christ, last meal worthy type of thing...would give it 5 stars...their peach mimosa tasted divine and not chemically and fake...the strawberry Bellini was not good though. The place is super crowded and super loud, you have staff all over the place but some staff are better than others checking in...but everyone was super nice but insanely busy. So due to Brunch being such an amazing experience with the food...thought I'd try this place for dinner...meh. I don't understand the hype over the chicken sandwich...it looked like a burger and it had no flavor but the bacon...the fries that came with it were hot but were under cooked. The guacamole we ordered was delicious but the calamari was literally inedible...even the person in our party whose would eat anything was like that's an epic fail. Sogging mess! Because the place was much quieter for dinner on a rainy night...the waiter was constantly checking on us and it felt like we were being rushed. Didn't acknowledge that the plate of calamari was full to be like everything alright here? We are not "those" people to be like send this back to the kitchen-but never again. The desserts: the banana cheese cake is a fried burrito-delicious, the donuts-delicious, the key lime pie-meh So 3 star rating is that it's a hit or miss with this place...not consistent...even the other reviews flag the inconsistencies. Will I be back? For brunch and that dirty nasty but can't help but fear it won't be amazing like the first time. So go for Brunch and not dinner here...stay the HELL away from the calamari and if you're brave to attempt it-ask for the sauce in the side. But for me-it would never get a second chance! Make reservations bc it's crazy packed on the weekends.

Yelp
What a great place with good service and amazing food! Came her with some Yelp friends for a Sunday brunch because I had a hankering for fried chicken. I started with a drink called Piggy Back, which had Whistle Pig Piggy Back Rye, Lemon, Blackberry Puree and Simple Syrup. It was really good. We ordered a brie-stuffed pretzel with fig jam which was amazing. I could eat that every day. It was so good. For my main I wanted to order the fried chicken but I wanted a biscuit as well. Unfortunately, the waiter told me I wasn't able to order just a biscuit. You can get a side order of biscuits for $9.75 but I only wanted one and was disappointed that wasn't an option. However the waiter asked if I liked sausage gravy, which must have been a rhetorical question because of course I do! So then he recommended that I get the Dirty Nasty which was two fried chicken biscuits smothered in gravy. I was not disappointed...the Dirty Nasty was terrific. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the prices were reasonable, service was good and the space is great. I definitely recommend. It's very close to the train station so if you're coming from out of town, take the train!

Yelp
Southern Table is an absolute gem! Their dry-aged skirt steak is out of this world--I've never had it better anywhere else. It's so good that, despite their fantastic Nashville hot chicken, I can't resist ordering the skirt steak every time I visit. And don't even get me started on the corn Asada appetizer--it's to die for! Every dish is crafted to perfection, making this place a must-visit for anyone who appreciates top-notch food. Whether you're a steak lover or just looking for incredible flavors, Southern Table never disappoints... whether it's their service or their food both are absolutely excellent.

Yelp
Battle of the burgers: Bulleit Burger vs. Bacon Brie Burger So delicious!! Burgers were cooked to perfection. Nice ambience and great service. Can't tell you the winner of the battle. You have to try them yourself!

Danielle M.

Yelp
The food was very good, i just wish the chicken came with more sides. I also was a little disappointed that there were no more biscuits when I went but the fries were still really good! Service was good & we had the Burnt Whiskers cocktails & they were great spicy margs. Would def go back, the tacos looked great and would want to try more of this menu!

Pam H.

Yelp
Amazing food overall. Their burger is outrageously delicious. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. Only drawback is its very noisy inside so sit outside or in the covered and temperature controlled patio. One of my favorite local places.

Yelp
this is a very casual restaurant. We dined outside as it was a lovely night and the ambiance was really nice with lights and a nice overhead ceiling so to speak. We have been here before. Best Southern fried chicken!! Which is what my husband wanted this night. I had the ahi tuna which said it came with soba noodles and salad but the noodles barely existed. I was ready to dive into noodles -but it was mostly salad with some noodles hidden underneath. But still very good. Tuna was cooked rare as i asked for it. Next time we go back, I will have the ribs - I saw them pass by and they looked amazing. Very nice place!

Yelp
Such a disappointment. Went there for a weekend brunch to try something new. The menu was very appealing. They had a DJ for brunch that was playing very loud music. I ordered the breakfast wrap and my husband had the crispy chicken sandwich. They were both so dry! The wrap was supposed to have cheese, but I didn't see or taste any. The chicken sandwich had no sauce - not even mayo. So dry. Both entrees were close to inedible. The server was nice. Never going back.

Yelp
Wow! Wow! Wow! If I could give this place a 10 star I would!!!! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and friendly demeanor. The attentiveness and care that the team showed us throughout our visit was truly exceptional. I need to point out that although EVERYONE was great - Cody went above and beyond to ensure we were accommodated and had wonderful experience. Now let's talk about the food! HOLY MOLY!!! I swear this review won't do it justice! But from the appetizers to dessert everything was stellar!!! I ordered the buttermilk friend chicken and bacon Mac and cheese! My goodness!!! Let just say this is going to be my go to place for comfort food! Just go! I promise you won't regret it.

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance were phenomenal. The frozen margaritas were delicious and just the right amount of alcohol. Everything from appetizers to main course to dessert were on the money. I would urge everyone to try this hidden gem.

Yelp
We've found our tried and trues in Westchester and I always feel a tiny bit of nervousness to try a new place. But we'd heard a lot about Southern Table and were craving fried chicken and found ourselves here on a Saturday night. The place was buzzing, the staff was friendly, the lighting was right. The acoustics are terrible- it's hard to hold a conversation. In terms of food, it was rather ok. Especially given how pricey everything is. First things first, the fried chicken was VERY crispy. Which was nice. But there was no real seasoning and the taste was rather bland. We also got the Best of Westchester winning burger and that was pretty tasty. The fries on the other hand were sub par. Last thing that broke the camels back and won't result in a return visit: $14 cocktails served in plastic glasses. Maybe forgivable if the cocktail tasted good, but it didn't. Southern Table tries, but doesn't deliver. And a pricey try at that.

Yelp
Wasn't sure what to expect. My second time there Today I had shrimp and grits. What a wonderful surprise. Delicious. I had the sauce on the side. This way I could dip the shrimp For dessert I had key lime pie. Yummy I was not disappointed Last week I had pork sliders. Wow. Took some home for a later snack Just be pared to have a wonderful Meal and to pay the price!!!! No bargains here

Yelp
The service could use work . Is beautiful. They really know how to decorate the place. The food is mediocre though. Prices are expensive bar, but I could definitely do better for way less. I'd rather spend the extra 20 minutes and go up to Jackson Valley for real barbecue at Bob-B-Que

Yelp
Dined here last night. We ordered the steak of the day (filet mignon) & bulleit burger. The food was sooooo good! The only thing we didn't care for was the mashed potatoes. But everything else we loved. The aux poivre sauce was delicious. It even made the mashed potatoes edible. The service was great. Our server was fast & efficient despite serving a busy dining room. Will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu.

Yelp
If you ever want to impress your friends & family with your good taste, take them here! Ever since they opened, we've continually been returning to this awesome restaurant. Going with friends and/or family who haven't been before, makes the experience even more enjoyable. Straight-away, newcomers are impressed as they review the eclectic menu. We tell them, honestly - we've never had anything on the menu that we didn't LOVE. It was not unusual that, on this week's visit, our party of six couldn't make menu selections 'cause everything sounded so good. No problem, we simply "ordered for the table"! Ready for this - we ordered: 2 orders of Pulled Pork Sliders, 2 orders of Brie Stuffed Pretzels, Asador Corn, Watermelon Salad, 2 orders of Smoked Ribs, Shrimp & Grits, and Chinese Chicken Salad. OH MY, what a Scrumptious Feast! Not a morsel was left over! When the friendly, attentive waiter suggested dessert, some said, "I can't eat another thing!", and "oh, maybe tomorrow". I suggested, perhaps some very delicious iced cappuccinos, or an outrageous dessert drink. Everyone ordered something. I then said to our party, I think we need some accompaniments. My wife and I got the waiter on the side, explained we had a Birthday Gal at the table, and ordered an assorted dessert board for the table. Moments later, the board was presented with a glowing birthday sparkler and a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday". Immediately, the signature Carrot Cake, Mexican Chocolate Covered Churros, Bourbon Glazed Donuts, Cheese Cake, and Vanilla Gelato began to be devoured. Nearby patrons could be heard saying, "We'll have what they're having!" It was another memorable, Great Time at Southern Table. Bravo to the Chef and Staff!

Yelp
I didn't get the chance to visit Southern T. when close Yelp friends of mine came here a few years ago. But it was time for hubs and I to try these folks recently for an early Sunday dinner since our kitchen is being remodeled. Southern T. is a must in this modern industrial, top spot restaurant in Pleasantville. Enough parking outback- but if it's full, street park it. Outdoor patio is nice, but we headed inside instead. Lush, hanging (faux) evergreen plant canopy ceiling is the center of attention. The second for me is their bustling and vibey open kitchen. To eat? Menu is a mix of of Southern-inspired eats with Mexican items. I was hoping most for the first. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I will mention though, my Buffalo Cauliflower was inventive and gorged on them. Small cauliflower florets- not humongous pieces- were lightly fried and coated with buffalo sauce. Genius! My Fried Tomatoes had a nice coating but were left in the frier too long. I also expected whole tomato slices instead of half moons. Hubs' Fried Chicken dish was almost perfect if it weren't for the overlyyyy done crust. And let's be honest, if a place is calling themselves Southern and has Fried Chicken on the menu, that bad boy better be good. Service was wonderful though and so were our smartly done cocktails. And the dessert? Pure gold. I would've presented the dessert in another fashion but it was great especially when I swapped the vanilla ice cream for chocolate. For all that can be said about Southern Table, it's got something for everybody and calls for a return.
