10 Best Bars in Key West | Condé Nast Traveler

"With its beachfront location and shabby-chic design—not to mention its killer happy hour—this is the kind of place where ordering a fruity drink seems like the only natural choice. Despite being part of the Southernmost Beach Resort , a full-service hotel, this is a popular choice for both locals and tourists alike; both are here to grab a seat at the bar and gaze out at the stunning views from what is essentially the southernmost point in the continental United States, colorful cocktail in hand. Soak it all up with something off the seafood-heavy menu, like a meaty crab cake or a plate of conch fritters." - Jennifer M. Wood

Took my kiddos to the Butterfly Garden and as soon as we walked out, they both were “hungry.” We took a walk down towards the beach, and Southernmost Beach Café was the sight for sore eyes. We had a minimal wait time since it was very busy and during lunch time. We were seated within 20 minutes, and we didn’t mind waiting. The restaurant is very relaxing, with various views of the beach and pier. Our server, Angela was the best. She advised us that the credit card machine was down and we needed to pay in cash. No biggie, our drink order was taken, and our food was out in no time. The meal was fresh, and the jalapeño on the burger were very spicy and added a kick. The French Fries were crispy the way I like them, and both kiddos and I were STUFFED! The entire meal was amazing, and the service was awesome. If you’re looking for a kid friendly restaurant with great beach views and delicious foods, please consider Southernmost Beach Café. Enjoy!

Food was good. I had the poke bowl which could have used more sauce because it was a little bland otherwise but everything was cooked perfectly and the presentation was nice. Can see the water easily though the beach does have a lot of sea grass (which is fine since it’s important). They only had fans so if you’re looking for AC don’t think this is the place but for dinner it was cool enough. Staff was very nice. Pricing is more affordable than some of the other places nearby.

Beachfront, open restaurant💜It was early June & weather fairly mild (mid 80's). Went on a Sunday abt 5:00 & the place was sparsely populated except the bar area which had 10-12 people. We had to ask for directions bc it's tucked away from street & we didn't see signage. Chickens & pigeons (chickens are protected by city ordinance) wandered through the restaurant which we loved. Wait staff was very good, & we'd consider returning if we make it back to Key West.

Google
We were hungry and googled this place. Not to good for us. I had the catch of the day (red snapper) and it was overcooked. My husband’s fish tacos were bland and overcooked too. The conch fritters were very chewy. And to top it off, the waitress asked everyone around us if we wanted another drink, but never asked us. Oh well, that saved us money.

Google
Love this place! Fantastic kitchen staff and friendly customer service all around. Kitchen staff seriously knows what they are doing! Meals come out looking like works of art and tasting like them, too! Will always come back!

This cafe is located at Southern most point of US in Key West. Its facing the beach though the beach is not the best one to visit. Its very close to Southern most point. The service is slow as only one person was taking care of orders and serving too. The food portion was good. Cauliflower dish was disappointing . We wanted a take away and that was slow.

Google
This is a fantastic place to dine, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and coconut trees. The food is absolutely delicious, with generous portions ideal for sharing. The service is outstanding, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Plus, there’s a large chair perfect for a photoshoot before or after dining.

Google
This was a super fun place to eat! If you’re in the keys, I would recommend this if you like dining with a view! It was wonderful to be enjoying breakfast and hear the seagulls and look at the water glistening in the morning.

Yelp
The location and ambiance of this place are just perfect. It's perfectly situated right on the ocean. The service was great! our waitress - SAM (Asem) was very professional, friendly and attentive. They got a table for us fairly quick. Everything was reasonably priced . The portions were huge... The chicken & salads were delicious, the Key Lime Pie was one of the best i have ever had tbh.. Returned the next day for lunch and we`re as happy as we were the day before with our dinner. Highly recommended !

Yelp
Service was great. View was first-rate. Surroundings and vibe were impeccable. Food was terrible. Nachos were covered in cold white queso. Pork sandwich was an extremely meh meal. Fries were standard, but air temp when delivered to table. My drink was way too sweet. Will not come again.

Yelp
HORRIBLE! Don't Go. Ugly, dirty little place with terrible food So the pictures they post on their site are deceiving. We booked Easter brunch and got disgusting, cheap Buffett food for 190 dollars for two. I mean I didn't care about the price of the quality would have been good Just TRUST me and don't go. Check out my pics if you don't believe me Service was nice but thinking else was good. Don't go. You will regret

Yelp
Lunch at Southernmost is always a favorite. We had the fish tacos (yum but get an extra side of sauce) and the chips with pico. Chips are not in the menu but they will get them for you. I love the spicy pico salsa!!

Yelp
Stopped in here because this is the first stop on the St. Patrick's Day bar crawl. I know better than to go to these tourist places because they are exactly what they are but sometimes you're stuck. I have to say that the server, who was obviously a foreign national, tried hard, and she was very nice. The bartenders were cranking out the drinks Adequately and professionally. The food, however, was just sad. They know they're all tourists coming in and so nobody's coming back anyway so they really don't care. Everything that we got tasted like it came out of a can with no seasoning or anything like that. It's kind of sad. I should know better but it's my own fault for going in there.
google avatar

Erik F.

Yelp
Excellent ocean view for sure! Great service for a few drinks and snack at the bartop. The area is tourist-centric which I generally avoid as the food quality is lacking, however the Bloody Mary is prime and the burger decent also. Out of all the neighboring restaurants, this appeared to be the safest option.

Yelp
This is a romantic spot next to the beach. We came for dinner just in time to see the sunset. Our server was lovely and attentive despite having a full section of tables which bumps this review up to 4 stars. We started with Conch Fritters, a must have when you're in the Keys. Then our entrees -- steak frites for my bf and the lobster tail for me. The quinoa tasted a bit off (like, almost spoiled?) and I didn't finish it but the Brussels sprouts were delicious. Lobster was OK. It's not my usual order but decided to try it and my bf finished it anyway. Ambiance was between casual and fancy, closer to the former. The bathroom was not very clean. Not a bad spot food and service wise but we probably would not return.

Yelp
Great view of ocean for breakfast and service is fast. Food mediocre and expensive. My partner and I shared an omelette and got an orange juice and the bill was $25. The omelette was just average, but the view for breakfast was so stunning. I would definitely go there again just for the morning view while you sat there and stared at the ocean and had your breakfast.

Yelp
This cafe is right next to the Southernmost point of the US and we figured it might be a tourist trap. As we only wanted coffee, we thought it can't be that bad. But it was. The coffee was just filter coffee with milk, completely burnt and undrinkable. Not Cuban coffee even though advertised as Cuban coffee. Service was moody and unmotivated. The music was way too loud. Not a pleasant place.
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
Ambiance was perfect since you're staring straight at the Atlantic. Had lobster pizza which was perfect. Bloody Mary was a party in a glass. Nice wait staff. Tables turned quickly for being so busy.
google avatar

Angel B.

Yelp
Open air bar and grill, we came here because it was next door. It was very busy - bar was probably four deep at times - in midafternoon, but that was partly due to the music festival in town. However, we placed our drinks and food order, got our drinks, got another round of drinks, and still no food. Apparently, our ticket was lost. Bartender was nice enough to comp us the burger and salad we ordered. Burger was juicy. Salad was meh.

Yelp
We stop by to hydrate and get a snack before waiting in line to take our picture by the southern most buoy. I could see how this café would be lovely if it weren't for the smell. Unfortunately, while we were here, the giant seaweed glob had floated on shore, and was rotting... It smelled awful!! We powered through, had a beer, a glass of wine and some nachos... The nachos weren't bad, except for the colored chips... I hate colored tortilla chips. Definitely worth a second trip sometime in the future when there isn't rotting seaweed on the shore.

Yelp
"Hook and cook available at our resort ! Chef Damien prepared the fish we caught today. He blackened half and pan seared the other. It was served with our choice of sides. Diane was a fabulous waitress!

Yelp
Had amazing food at the pool bar that came from the Southernmost Cafe. Best shrimp cocktail and calamari- really really good!! Shrimp had a seasoning on it like Bloody Mary tasting - so good! Calamari was cut fresh, we're crispy and perfect bite inside with a great dipping sauce. Also got the chicken wrap and chicken tenders. Felt a bit guilty eating the chicken with all the chickens and roosters hanging out around us... BUT the tenders were fresh and tempura battered served with bbq sauce - yummy! It was all very good an I plan to recreate the shrimp cocktail at home!!! Service was very quick and easy delivered to our chairs at the pool. Can not speak to the ambiance of the restaurant but poolside was very nice!

Yelp
Its not often I give 5 starts for breakfast let along at a resort restaurant. We were staying at the Southernmost and on our last day we decided to try the Cafe for breakfast. We went around 9am and the place was packed but we were sat quickly. Our seats were on the open air porch facing the water. Our server was great and came right over to grab our drink order and then quickly put in our breakfast choices. I had the corn beef hash with two sunny side up eggs and my wife had the Avocado Trio. Both of our meals were great and the hash was probably the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this spot for breakfast.
google avatar

Maria R.

Yelp
We went here for breakfast every morning. Very economical and the coffee is amazing.. Of course I had to have the Mamosa every morning lol

Shannon M.

Yelp
The pool bar and beach area at Southernmost features live music or a DJ most days. Great spot to grab drinks and snacks while you enjoy the beach and water views.

Yelp
Holy Cauliflower!!!! The curried cauliflower is uh-mazing. little to no breading, great seasoning, a must try! Drinks were solid, but we really came here for the views. This cafe is just a short walk (2 blocks) from the Southern most buoy and tourist selfie spot! As a Tampa native, I found the "skinny cuban" to be a bit lacking, but half saved VERY well as was perfect for that late night snack. All in all, it's a solid, if not good place to eat near the touristy southernmost point. For the most par, it's fried bar/beach food. A little pricey for what you get, but you're paying for the proximity to tourist stuff and for the water view. Not excellent, but not bad either.
google avatar

Yvonne M.

Yelp
Food is marginal and a very limited menu. Staff is not friendly. Breakfast menu if terrible. We had 5 meals there and none were good, ate there because it was only restaurant at our hotel and walking us hard for us.
google avatar

Emely R.

Yelp
Beautiful views, dog-friendly, and delicious food!!! Staff was very nice from entering the restaurant to our server helping us in our section. The views of the ocean are just a few feet away and are absolutely breath taken. Great drinks too! FYI they do charge a 20% gratuity fee. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Key West!

Yelp
We were staying at the Southernmost Resort and got up to watch the sunrise. We decided to try this place out. We went over at 8am shortly after opening and got a table with a perfect beach view. Luckily the sargassum wasn't bad when we were there so there was no smell. The server was friendly and attentive. We both ordered the build your own omelet. The hubby also got a mimosa which, was more like champagne with a splash of OJ. Which is great if you're a drinker but we aren't so our server brought us some extra OJ to even it out. The omelets were good but it would be nice if the cheese didn't count as one of the two toppings. That's why I took a star off. For the price it should have been two toppings and cheese. The potatoes were tasty but not your typical breakfast potatoes. But good nonetheless. Overall it was good, especially if you want a nice view. I'd probably try somewhere else for breakfast next time though.

Yelp
The views are amazing! Open air, ocean front restaurant with chickens roaming freely. Beach dining is exactly what we were looking for.......the sand, sun, ocean and crispy cool air breezes. It did start raining very hard but they do have clear , plastic tarps they zip you in to stay dry. The brunch menu offers something for everyone. We went with The Seafood Omelette that was stuffed with fresh veggies, shrimp and salmon. The Lobster Benedict was also a great selection and it had a good amount of lobster. Our server was not the friendliest and apparently was not paying attention because my coffee came out pretty n a dirty cup.

Yelp
In order to make a reservation for Christmas dinner you have to secure it with a $25 per person charge. This is so you don't cancel on them. However, take it from me... don't reserve a table. You can literally just walk in and they will serve you. In fact, we had a reservation that I made 3 weeks prior and when we arrived they did not have a table set up and literally shoved a 5 person party in a 4 top table by the deck entrance. No table cloth. No set up. What the H*ll. We were told before we arrived they had a Christmas pre fix meal or you could order from their regular menu. What they didn't say is... everyone at your table had to done one or the other. After we ordered drinks and appetizers, the manager let half our party order off the menu and the other half or the Christmas dinner. (That was nice and appreciated) Our waitress was nice but kept forgetting the silverware, water, bill, etc... We saw lots of families walk in without reservatons and get lovely tables and service in the middle of the deck. It was upsetting because I picked this place out for our family. Since we were staying at the resort, I thought it was a no brainer. My sister loved the steak and lobster. I thought the Christmas meal was blah. Unseasoned mash potatoes, sweet potatoes were strange and cold, prime rib seemed like it had sat for a long time and asparagas was too dressed with sauce. We spent over $500.00 and gave extra for the tip because it was Christmas. I just wish they would have stepped up their game for us and served hot food.

Mark P.

Yelp
Service was just ok. Not very friendly. Food was definitely just average. Mussels were covered in so much sauce you couldn't even taste them. Shrimp Alfredo not any better than Applebee's.
google avatar

Amanda T.

Yelp
Excellent location, great atmosphere, dog friendly, great service. Food was "ok". Cuban sandwich was roasted and the bread was too hard to eat. Fish sandwich was bland. Pasta salad was really good. But sitting outside looking at the ocean with my puppy was wonderful.

Heather C.

Yelp
This is a beautiful open cafe right on the water. The tuna avocado was so fresh and the burgers were big and tasty. The drinks were delicious too.
google avatar

Brenda S.

Yelp
The view from the restaurant was spectacular. Had a nice selection of cocktails, wine and beer. We started with cocktails and wanted order conch fritters but they were out. I opted for the grilled octopus and a fennel salad. The octopus was delicious and very tender. The salad was pretty good. My friends chose the whole snapper which came with tortillas. They said it was good, but it looked over cooked from my perspective. Overall a very lovely restaurant though.

Yelp
Hello Yelpers! Let's discuss this place. While staying here at the Southernmost Beach Resort, it was mentioned how this place was good. We came here the first time for lunch and the second time, for dinner. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed. Service: When we arrived the first time for lunch, we had really good service. The waiter was attentive and patient and always made sure we had drinks. When we came for dinner, we had the worst service. We went without drinks and even had to ask another waitress if we could get refills because our waitress had disappeared. When our waitress finally returned, it was only to bring our appetizer and then off she went without her in sight. I just want to point out that we arrived 40 minutes prior to closing, however, they were still taking orders and wanted to make sure we had enough time so we wouldn't hold anyone over from going home on time. Needless to say, there were about 4 other tables who had just placed orders. Moving on, it her about another 15 mins to get our actual food orders in. When we were ready to pay, she dropped the check off and disappeared again. When we finally spotted her, she was smoking and joking with a group of other employees. When we couldn't get her attention, I decided to bring the check to her. Food: My wife and I split the lobster roll. This was wonderful. The roll it was on was toasted perfectly and they were not shy with the amount of lobster they put on the roll. Not to mention, it was seasoned perfectly. Next, the fries were cooked to perfection. As for dinner, it was a different experience. Aside from the poor service, my wife and I both ordered the Surf N Turf. She got hers with scallops and mine was lobster tail. I am no expert, but the lobster was definitely overcooked as it was very chewy and difficult to remove from the shell. The mashed potatoes were flavorless and very thick. My wife said the scallops were good on hers, but she needed A1 sauce to give it more flavor. Ambiance: The restaurant is cute and has a nice view of the beach. Unfortunately, it smelled very bad as if you were standing/walking past a trash field. It may be because of the beach water coming ashore. Dinner atmosphere was okay. The only difference between lunch and dinner is the white table cloth and one cake candle in the center. Unfortunately, despite lunch being a good experience, dinner was disappointing and definitely did not feel like it was a $200 meal.... We even ordered the Key Lime pie to go and took it to our room. The only reason this got 4 stars is because I was not able to give it 3.5 stars and so I went up instead of down. We have not eaten here since. To my Yelpers and Travel Adventurers, despite our experience we still recommend giving the place a try. Why? Because most businesses deserve a chance and where as I may have this opinion or experience, we ask you develop your own. We are just here to guide and help your decision making. Until next time, Happy Travel Adventures!

Yelp
Meh. Service was good and fast, but food was super medium. Nachos were half cold and didn't have good ingredient distribution. Conch fritters were pretty good though.
google avatar

Ken S.

Yelp
I stopped by the bar for a Pina Colada, and got a tiny cup of rum and softserve frozen mix for $14. Really overpriced and unimpressive. Shout out to the patrons who hang out on the beach.
google avatar

Robert P.

Yelp
Anyone who rates this place good in a review clearly doesn't have working taste buds. Food is so below average, it's just not enjoyable. Tuna was so fishy smelling and tasting indicating it isn't fresh at all and old. Pork tacos were made with extremely dry pork, literally felt like eating saw dust, and they just covered it completely in grease and oil to make up for how over cooked it was tasted awful. Mahi mahi in my wrap was as hard as a rock, so overcooked couldn't even taste it. I give restaurants the benefit of the doubt if one thing comes bad or subpar but when it's everything then it just means the place sucks. Not worth coming, if you do just come for a coffee and enjoy the food, but the food in complete trash.

Janet D.

Yelp
This place never disappoints! The food is delicious. The service is fabulous. The happy hour is out of this world! One of the best on the island! The view is breathtaking!
google avatar

Trish L.

Yelp
Came here for a quick snack and drink on a breezy Sunday afternoon. The place was busy, but they have plenty of outdoor seating spread across the property and my wait for a table was less than 10 minutes. I ordered a margarita and the conch fritters. This was the first time I had conch fritters that didn't come out in a ball shape. These were perfectly seasoned and fried golden brown. The portion size is huge. I was definitely full after eating these. I think the key lime mustard for dipping is a great and creative touch to the plate. The flavor it added to the fritters was perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive. My only qualm is that there are a lot of birds around constantly at your feet, under your table, next to you, etc. trying to get any kind of scraps they can. It kind of disrupts the experience a little, but I guess there isn't much they can do.
google avatar

Yelp
I decided to take a quick trip to Key West today. As I was walking around after going to the Southernmost bouie, I stopped for a drink on the corner and got to chatting with the server, she suggested Southernmost Cafe for a good lunch. It is right on the beach, and I don't know what the smell was but it was pretty funky. Seaweed? It wasn't as bad on the patio but you could still definitely smell it. The restaurant was all open, roosters and birds walking in, which is funny. There was a gentleman who had a water gun and was trying to keep them at bay. I ordered a pina colada which was tasty and have the deck hand. It was a fresh cut of fish which I had blackened, was served with a unique coleslaw and a scoop of rice. It was good. I particularly liked the coleslaw. The server was nice enough and had good follow-up. Meal was satisfying.
google avatar

Kari D.

Yelp
Only had drinks. Since we only wanted drinks they wouldn't let us sit at a table. Understand the server's have to make tips, but there was nobody there at 2pm. So we sat outside under the umbrellas. I walked up to the bar and ordered a skinny Margarita and Mezcal Mojito and they were TERRIBLE!! I mean I spent $44 for those 2 drinks and 2 sprites for my children. Nobody finished their drinks. The kids said their Sprite tasted funny? The views was not very good due to the HUGE amount of decaying seaweed on the beach. But that isn't the reason for that review. Can't blame them for global warming!! Made the best of our time and put our feet in the water off the pier.
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
First of all, you can't beat the view! It's gorgeous. The food and service on the other hand were just so-so. I get it. It's a lunch shift in Key West on a Saturday in season. You're busy. The tenders were sub par. Nothing exciting about that tempura batter. The mountain of nachos were ok. All the water cheese flowed down stream to the bottom of the plate and congealed there. Two drinks and two meals was $81. The bartenders were nice enough but we had a hard time flagging them down when we needed something. I would go back for drinks and view alone.
google avatar

Kathy G.

Yelp
Went for Thanksgiving dinner. Service was iffy, but after witnessing the manager you would know why. Inattentive, full of himself and not a smile to be had!!! Service reflected his demeanor. Not once asking how things were. Even the waitress who served our lukewarm Turkey dinner never checked on us. Asked for more gravy to warm our food but that didn't work. Food was actually pretty good if only it was hot!!! View was outstanding but because of management the service was not good. We got terribly screwed when splitting the bill!!! They charged the full gratuity on both cards!!! $100 dollar tip for sub par service for 4.... Also a bottle of wine for each paying person and we only drank one bottle!!! Please find someplace else especially for a holiday!!!!
google avatar

Caroline B.

Yelp
Food was great. Service was just okay. View was amazing. Husband and I went in at around 5pm on a Friday night in February, there was no wait to be seated. Every table has a view of the ocean. Ordered the conch fritters to start, I ordered the blackened Tuna with mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the blackened sword fish with mushrooms and Brussel sprouts. The swordfish was AMAZING. I didnt realize the tuna was served seared rare or I would have ordered something else. Like I said service was just okay. Looked like the restaurant was also hosting a wedding. It was good, I would give them a second chance if we were in Key West again. The view was perfect!

Yelp
Came here for our last stop before leaving the keys and was disappointed. It's my only negative review for our trip. Food was sub par. I got oysters and it doesn't say on the menu it's only 6 (customary is a dozen) and they were full only of shell pieces. Our sever only came once and never said a word to us - very unprofessional. The the "beach side" view is of an overcrowded beach with concrete everywhere. The only saving grace for me is the man who brought out our food, Talhi. He had a great attitude and was very nice. Won't come here next time

Salt L.

Yelp
Went in one day and sat at the bar and was informed that systems were down and only accept cash. That was fine for us and we sat down. We waited to get a drink so long that we walked out. Returned 2 days later for dinner and was seated by the hostess. Ordered appetizer, drinks and 2 entrees with the waiter. Ate the appetizer and were drinking our drinks and heard the waiter tell the table of 3 beside us that they are only taking cash. They didn't have enough cash. I asked the waiter why we weren't informed by the hostess or him when we sat and he had no reply. I told the waiter and manager to stick the entrees up his A#$ and put down $40 to cover the appetizer and drinks that we consumed. We had enough cash to cover the whole bill if we stayed but I won't support a dishonest business of any kind. What kind of business of this size (multiple hotels and restaurants) goes 2 days without a fix or fail over plan? Come to find out, we were told that this has been going on for some time now. Either the employees are ripping the place off or Corporate is skipping out on paying taxes. We go to Key West from Boston many times a year and will never spend a nickel in this place again!!
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
Oh man, don't be fooled by the pictures, this was the worst food we ate the entire trip. We fell for the location. Should've walked out after the server was rude from the get-go. Then our food was delivered and I couldn't even eat my Chicken sandwich. It was that bad. I never leave food on a plate. Never. We weren't checked on again to even attempt a complaint. We waited thirty minutes for the server to notice we had long since finished and I finally flagged him down waving my card. I don't even weigh my stars on service, mostly the emphasis goes to the food. This earns one star, because the rest of our day, we held our stomachs in pain. Pass by this pretty location and try elsewhere!

Yelp
Breakfast consisted of strong coffee, berry pancakes, and this view. What a great start to my day.

Yelp
We've always come here for lunch but never dinner. We will now always do dinner here, it was fantastic. Our server was wonderful. She didn't rush us and always came back to check on us in a reasonable amount of time. For appetizers we ordered the coconut shrimp(probably the best we've had) and a side Caesar salad. We had the key lime margarita and a Pina colada, both tasty. We both ordered the surf and turf, me picking the scallops and my husband choosing the lobster tail. The filet was cooked to perfection along with tasting amazing! And of course the open air dining room with the wind flowing through is a nice touch.

Yelp
Saw the Drunken Scallops on a show on the Cooking Channel and they've been on my list ever since. Very good, with the exception of one scallop being under done the rest were nice and tender and the lobster mashed potatoes are an excellent side!

Yelp
The servers were lovely but not much else. There was an excessive amount of birds at our table (pigeons, chickens, roosters - walking over my feet, flying by and nearly hitting my head). We almost left due to this environment but stayed to try the food, which was nothing special.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and the service is impeccable. Visited 2 days for breakfast, sat at the bar and had some of the very best service both days. The view and the food were both great.

Yelp
My experience might be isolated but I just did not find this to be a win on my most recent visit. While the atmosphere is relaxed and filled with ample space throughout it was pretty unoccupied around 6pm on a Sunday. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive throughout my visit. However the reason for my low rating was the food, the bbq wings in particular. I'm not sure if my recent wing staples affected my rating but I simply did not find the wings to be flavorful or great overall. Every bite felt way too fatty and stretchy making it hard to even properly bite and chew. It could've been a fluke and I also had no interest in sending food back but that was my experience. I'd still recommend and return as the rest of my experience was pleasant, I would probably just choose something else on the menu.

Yelp
We had hands-down the best Key Lime Pie at this restaurant. We came here for dinner, not realizing that we had been looking at the lunch menu. The dinner entrees were a bit out of our price range so we ordered a few appetizers to share as well as a round of drinks. The key lime pie was the star of our stop here. A perfectly light graham cracker crust and just the right amount of tartness. I'd stop in here again for the pie alone!

Yelp
Came during lunch. Sat immediately outside. Had a beautiful view. I ordered the lobster roll and do not regret it. It was so yummy. Lobster pieces were good. Fries were ok. Also got key lime pie and did not disappoint. Service was great. Would definitely go again.
