Southside Grill

I love love love this place!!! So many great options on their menu. My most favourite dishes are The lobster ravioli (you can ask for blackened shrimp), Black and Bleu Tortilini, Redfish Piccata, pistachio chicken and I can go on about all the options. Their specials are great too!Food is always yummy! Drinks are delicious! Staff is very kind, caring and attentive. If you are new the area and want to make friends, hang out by the bar and you will easily make friends with the regulars. I highly recommend!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Stopped by to eat tonight. Turned away with no reservation. No wait list offered. Outside seating not used. They offered the bar but not interested. My wife wanted lamb. So I went next to Taste of Persia. Not sure if I’ll return.

Delicious food and a nice atmosphere. We've been here a dozen times in the last few years, and the food is always good, and the staff is always friendly. Reservations are recommended on the weekend. The patio is really nice when weather permits; they have heaters and a fireplace for chilly nights. It's a relatively small menu, but all of the dishes are done very well.

If you come here I would advise getting here when they open or making a reservation. They are that popular and for good reason. Their food is excellent and their staff is top notch. If you are looking for something for a special day like birthday or anniversary then this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed.

South side is our go-to in the Nolensville area and never disappoints. Locals all know this little gem. We like to sit on the patio in the summer but we also like the well decorated dining room inside . The waitstaff is always kind and efficient and the food fresh and well prepared. The pistachio crusted chicken with goat cheese mashed potatoes and crispy Brussels is amazing!! Cocktails are really nice too , especially the lavender martini. We sometimes like to go just for dessert and a glass of wine. The coconut lemon cake is worth every single calorie! Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

From reading prior reviews I was expecting a really good variety of steaks as well as a really good place to eat all around. Not that it wasn’t good just not what I expected. There is only two types of steak you could get and the menu is very small not many things to choose from. I got the 9oz filet mignon which was cooked perfectly but had little to no flavor the steak sauce improved it which in my opinion shouldn’t be needed. The potato’s tasted like they were made from a box. The asparagus, ceased salad, and mozzarella stick were delicious though the mozzarella sticks were huge. Overall it was good but not worth what it cost. I don’t think I would return here.

This place is a hidden gem. I’ve driven by it for over a year and always thought I should try it, but found it hard to plan a night since there’s limited hours. However, I finally made a reservation and my gf and I were both pleasantly surprised and the food exceeded our expectations. The food all tasted fresh, and was ordered hot, which is what I like. Many restaurants nowadays you are served lukewarm food that’s been sitting and cooling or under heat lamps but this food was warm, fresh, and tasted great. The mushroom pasta was incredibly tasty and creamy with some bite to it. It was easily some of the best pasta I’ve had, and easily beats many restaurants that have a sole focus on pasta. The whipped feta with honey and pistachios was by far my favorite appetizer I’ve had in a while. The pistachio chicken also had an incredible and unique flavor that I’ve never experienced. The potatoes were clearly made in the kitchen and tasted creamy, buttery, and fluffy. The Brussel sprouts were great but my only critique is they were pretty excessively oily and you could see the pooled oil on your plate as well as taste the oil. Overall, the food was great, exceeded our expectations, and the service was wonderful as well. Prices were reasonable and were comparable to just about anywhere else you would eat for a less casual restaurant in nashville. I think we may have found a new spot. Looking forward to coming back and making this a regular place.

We visited Southside grill to celebrate a night out. We arrived, sat down, and ordered. All was well until one of the steaks we ordered medium well came out very rare. We asked the manager, on 6/22/2024 at 8:45 pm, to replace the very rare cooked steak with a steak that was cooked as we requested, medium well. She communicated she could just "throw the steak back on the grill to finish cooking it." I was concerned about sanitary measures. I told her the rare steak had already been touched and we needed a new one. She said "they" had a "to the side area where they cooked unsanitary meat." She insisted the steak be put back on the grill and ignored my concern. I was shocked a Southside representative would not consider sanitary measures when dealing with food they serve in their restaurant. I hope, on going, Southside will better train their representatives to better handle customer related issues concerning food safety measures.
