I’ve been coming to Souvla for years, all of the locations in San Francisco that I’ve tried have been delicious! Ya gotta do the fries and the homemade labneh ranch, I seriously crave it all too often. Such a great side. The chicken pita is great too, lots of delicious and fresh ingredients. The chicken is slow roasted rotisserie style right there in the shop and the flavor is apparent. SO good. I don’t have a picture, but the Greek yogurt soft service is not overhyped, when you add that baklava and I ALSO like to add the cherry syrup, it’s insane! Such a delicious treat. Love this place, it’s a great fast, and consistent spot and healthier than other fast alternatives in the city.

Friends recommended we come here while visiting San Francisco and it was a great recommendation. We stopped by on a Friday for lunch and there was no line. It was fairly crowded inside, but we found a place to sit. It's fast casual and the food is ready very quickly. We ordered a chicken pita which was delicious. I loved the oranges that came on it as well as the sauce. They also had a house hot sauce that went well with it. Of course we also had to get the Greek frozen yogurt with baklava crumbles. That was amazing. The yogurt itself was not sweet, it was tart which paired perfectly with the baklava. This is definitely a great stop for lunch!

Amazing quality and good prices and service. Service was super fast, waited less than 5 minutes for the food. The food was fresh and flavorful. The juice and flavor of the chicken mixed well with the vegetables and fruit. This was all complete by the bread. Overall amazing service and amazing food.

TLDR: Best location Baklava yogurt amongst the Souvla's in SF They are all delicious but so far this one gives the best ratios (basically a lot of Baklava) to yogurt. Friendly staff, a fair amount of seating. Will definitely come back for more Baklava!!

Quick and convenient; solid but not amazing. Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 5/5** Extremely fast service and efficient staff who clear tables quickly. Order at the counter, get your food within probably 5 minutes or less, and self serve waters. **Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** The store looks small at first, but actually has a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. Everything was clean and turnover is quick thanks to the speedy staff. **Price & portion, 3/5** A tad overpriced for the quality. My lamb pita had inconsistently cooked pieces of lamb and was served at room temp. **Taste of the food, 3.75/5** - Lamb sandwich ($16), 3.5/5: This was alright. The lamb in the pita was a confusing combo of tender and juicy pieces with a bit of marbling, and large cubes of drier, tougher meat that had way too strong of a gamey flavor. The pita wasn't anything too special -- it could've really benefitted from being warmed up. The veggies filling was sparse so at least a third of my sandwich was dry cubes of lamb paired with dry pita. - Chicken lemon soup ($7), 4/5: I was pleased with the portion size of the soup, but would've loved for it to be a bit more savory. The only thing I could taste was the lemon, so it ended up being pretty one-dimensional. (I ended up pouring the chicken drippings from the potatoes in here though, and that was very tasty) - Potatoes ($8), 3/5: Nothing special here; the boiled potatoes are just a vessel for their sauce (which costs extra) and the chicken drippings. No crisp or interesting textures. - Frozen greek yogurt with baklava crumbles ($9), 4/5: The frozen greek yogurt itself was DELICIOUS! Tart, refreshing, and the perfect amount of sweetness. But I was disappointed at the baklava -- it wasn't crispy or flakey at all, and instead was soggy and chewy (even though we asked for it on the side instead of on top of the yogurt), so there was no satisfying textural contrast.

One of my absolute staples! I'm obsessed!! You can't keep me away from this place. The food is light and healthy and you can really tell that they use quality ingredients. I've had consistently great service and meals time and time again here. Don't skip the frozen greek yogurt--it's not sweet which I absolutely love. My favorite topping is the olive oil and sea salt!

love! always heard about this place and finally tried it! i got a Chicken Salad and a side of fries. my salad was delicious!!!!! and the fries are plenty to share. service was great and friendly. seating inside filled up quick, but found a spot outside and there was a heater. i will definitely be back (and will probably get the exact same order)

After playing hours of games at Emporium down the street, my friends and I realized not much was still open - at least restaurants that were vegetarian friendly. Fortunately we found Souvla, which is a reliable place for Mediterranean wraps and salads. Plenty of seating as it was empty when we got there. I was in SF visiting some friends and we were looking for a quick dinner spot after checking out the Painted Ladies! Souvla is just around the corner and pretty easy to find. When we got there, it's fast casual so we ordered at the counter and then found seating. I loved the decor and the vibes and there was plenty of seating on the patio, although we ended up snagging some seats indoors. I had the lamb wrap with a side of Greek fries and we got a bottle of white to split. My dinner was absolutely delicious, the lamb was so tender and the wrap was so filling!! The serving size was generous so I had leftovers. I got Granch sauce with my fries and that was a treat. The wine was crisp and my friend also got some frozen Greek yogurt with baklava crumbles and honey syrup and WOW it was DIVINE!! Overall, really great vibes, wish I had one closer to me!

The location is near a few other restaurants. Parking can be tough. Inside has high ceilings, a little narrow, and clean. There are a few tables and seats along the wall; and, there is a patio outside in the back. I sat inside so I'm not sure how big the patio is. The staff were all very nice. I've been to Souvla a few times but I've never been to this location. I've gotten the chicken and veggie salads. They're both tasty which is why I keep coming back. In addition, the Greek fries never disappoint. Normally, I prefer the skinny fries (like at McDonalds or In-n-Out) but Souvla's fries are just right. Not too thick or skinny and they're fresh and crisp. My friend got the lamb wrap & a Greek beer. He said the meat was dry & the beer was not bad. I always get the sour cherry Greek yogurt ice cream. It's a popular dessert. It's a tart taste; so if you're not into tart this might not be for you. I love it though. It was cold out but it's SO good that I got one and braved the cold!

Would overall give this experience a 4.5/5! The service is quick, food is consistently good, and this back patio location is great! Back patio also has heat lamps for the evening. The lamb salad had a great mix of the fresh greens, pickled red onion, and meat. There was a lot of sauce after I mixed it so I probably prefer less dressing in the future. Hot sauce adds nice vinegar like flavor but isn't actually spicy. Pita bread was ok as a side supplement but the salad was actually pretty filling without it. For the salad, I do think you get a noticeably larger portion of food when ordering for here vs in the to go box. 5/5 the Greek frozen yogurt is delicious! I enjoyed it with the sour cherry syrup and it complemented well without being too sweet. Great portion size for one or to share.

I've been to Souvla several times now and have evolved over the years from chicken salad girlie to a pork salad girlie! It's always so fresh and tasty. And service is always respectful and fast. This time, Souvla had a 10 year anniversary deal for customers and I was able to get all these items for close to free which is insane! What a way to treat others and celebrate their accomplishments

Loved using the complementary hot sauce on this sandwich. The highlight was the baklava frozen greek yogurt. So lightly sweet, unique, and refreshing. Hope to be back!

Souvla has a small menu, which I love! Less decision making, quick turnover & service in their kitchen. No need to scroll though pages to pick out what you are craving. The kitchen is open. You can view Rotissaire Chicken rotating, cooking, dripping fat over the potatoes. Love it! The Lamb Salad! The excellent, tasty flavors and consistency in the food keeps me coming back! Thank you!

Souvla has the most delicious frozen greek yogurt! It is tangy, light, and addicting. I love coming by after a heavy meal for some refreshment. They also offer other mediterranean food items on their menu and many are must try. The restaurant offers self seating and has nice ambiance, and their staff is very kind and friendly as well. I love this location! It's spacious, nice and warm. They also have a patio but it wasn't open due to bad weather. The chicken salad here is delicious and light. The garlic fries with the garlic yogurt is a great pairing with the salad. I do order a side of the chicken and that's a perfect amount for me and my hubby to share. I'll definitely be back here!

This place came highly recommended from a trusted friend and as fans of Greek food, we had to try it. We came in on a Saturday for lunch... a little busy but by no means packed, so quick and easy to order and our food came delivered to our table. We picked the plant-based lamb wrap, the chicken wrap, and a side of Greek fries (without sauces). For the first time having lamb, the plant-based "lamb" was absolutely delicious and I could have easily eaten two, they were so good and I didn't want it to end. My partner really enjoyed the chicken, although he said he'd like to try the pork next time. The fries are perfectly crisp and delicious, although the toppings are light (I was expecting something a bit more covered). I would definitely add some dipping sauces next time to the fries. We sat indoors as there was a really loud rambunctious group in the outside seating area. It's a nice shady area though so next time if it's not too loud and busy back there, we'll grab seats outdoors. This is definitely up there on some of the best Greek wraps we've had in the city and would highly recommend.

Ordered a chicken sandwich and Greek FF on a Sunday at 4ish pm. Super disappointed for what I paid $23 for. The bread was dry and chewy and not in a good way. Stale. Chicken was also dry and honestly under seasoned IMO. The French fries were decent. Hot and crispy but had some parsley and little flakes of what I assume was supposed to be Feta? Both underwhelming and was a complete let down. The only reason I gave 3 stars was that the cashier was nice and provided great customer service.

The assortment of veggies and feta cheese compliments the whole sandwich very well. I personally didn't like the lamb too much because it was a little tougher and blander than I was expecting. - Fries [5/5] The Harissa-Spiked sauce is SO good! Slightly spicy and super creamy. The fries are perfect: warm and crunchy on the outside, soft and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside. - Baklava Frozen Yogurt [4/5] The yogurt is delicious! Tart and fresh. I thought the baklava would be crunchier and warmer, but it was still pretty good. They give a very generous portion of baklava which is nice. :) SERVICE [5/5] The line looked long at first but the cashier was so quick with everyone's orders. The line went out the door but we only had to wait 15 minutes. We sat down outside and had our food delivered to us very quickly! The waiters even came and checked in on us a couple of times. AMBIENCE [5/5] The outside patio is secluded and not too cold! There's plenty of seating even during the busiest hour.

Baklava froyo was really tasty! Took me a long time living in the city to finally try Souvla's froyo and it was pretty good. Smooth, sweet, and slightly bitter froyo was great with the baklava crumble and honey. Sweetness and texture from the toppings were well balanced with the froyo itself. A simple but tasty treat, and they gave a generous portion. My only critique would be that I wish the baklava crumble had more nutty flavor and flaky texture

While waiting for Mochi to get groomed, I walked down to Souvla here on a Wednesday around 2pm. Pretty empty and no line. Plenty of seating and great service! Since it was a rare 80 degree, sunny day in SF, I ordered the baklava and honey syrup greek yogurt and a side order of fries. Both were delicious! the greek yogurt was given to me on the spot and the fries came out piping hot. Everyone was super friendly and greeted me with a smile. The ambiance was chill, cool vibe. Music was playing on the louder side so might not be great for business lunches, but fantastic if you're just carving out a bit of me-time. Back patio also looked nice, probably quieter back there and will have to check it out next time!

Came here for a quick bite with friends before the airport. We had a chicken salad, a chicken pita, fries, and two lamb pitas. The food came out quick. The pita bread is a little thick for my preference for a sandwich, but it was soft and delicious. The sandwich had a yogurt sauce, and small amount of greens and radishes. My first thought is "okay" when I think of Souvla. I was excited to see if this place was up to the hype but I was honestly underwhelmed! I got the chicken salad green style with a side of Greek fries. It was very filling but the fries were soggy even though we ordered them extra crispy and there wasn't much cheese on them. The chicken in the salad was sooooo dry. I went through my entire hydroflask of water eating it and there wasn't enough dressing on the salad. I like how fresh the ingredients are and how quick the service is, but the actual flavor was a bit underwhelming. For the price point, totally not worth it. You can get way better food in the city for $25

Cozy atmosphere perfect for an after work dinner or a meetup with friends I had the lamb sandwich which is basically a gyro. The lamb was tender and the gyro was full of flavor. The fries were hot and crispy. For dessert we had the frozen yogurt with baclava and Honey. If you like a good tart froyo this is right up your alley. The baclava and Honey drizzle gave it a nice balance too.

A fun Greek spot for a quick bite -- located right on Divisadero, it looks a bit hole-in-the-wall but has a lovely back patio with heaters. You order at the front and they give you a number, so it's a fast-casual vibe. The staff are very sweet and helpful, too. There aren't large tables, so would recommend going with a smaller group. The food is fresh and healthy, with a selection of salads and gyros! The real star of the show is dessert. The gryo is a little hard to eat IMHO -- I got the white sweet potato and ended up just using a fork and knife, and I didn't think the flavor was anything too memorable. The fries are SO good -- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. My absolute favorite thing was the Baklava Crumbles on the frozen Greek yoghurt -- literally... FIRE. The yoghurt is tart and the baklava is sweet and I am obsessed. I'd come back for that alone.

Omg. Speechless. After a weekend in sf of lots of Mexican and bread, I was craving some plants. I ordered the chicken salad bowl and it was so simple yet so so good. Kale and romaine base, covered with a light creamy sauce and cheese, topped with pricked onions and tender flavorful chicken thighs. Incredible. Simply so nourishing and delicious. The people that served were so kind and came around to make sure everyone was happy. Our food took like 2 minutes to come out! Got the honey sour cherry Greek yogurt for dessert (had to) which rounded off the meal with the perfect amount of sweet. Just what I needed.

It feels like establishments that have made SF into what it is are clearly not the same anymore-case in point, Souvla. We ordered their: Veg Salad Lamb Sandwich Greek Fries The Veg Salad thankfully tasted the same as how I ordered it before, but the Lamb Sandwich seemed less filling and fulfilling in comparison to their salad version. The big disappointment of the night was probably the fries, they looked like Burger King's fries but with garnishes! The real kicker was that it's a $1 up charge for a side of ketchup, which doesn't make sense because when you order online the $1 up charge is nowhere to be found? Even Burger King doesn't charge for their ketchup packets, but nickel and diming like this isn't right. There needs to be more cohesiveness between their online ordering versus IRL.

Souvla will forever be my go to greek restaurant! I just love how simple the menu is and you really can't go wrong with anything. I will say you MUST try their frozen greek yogurt because it's absolutely the best and I'll take it over ice cream any day!! The service is quite quick and seating is first come first serve. I really enjoy the ambiance of all the locations I've been to as they all have ample seating for everyone. Went there for lunch on the weekend, and ordered the chicken salad with dressings on side and the baklava frozen yogurt. The chicken salad was good, although I think it'd be better if had some nuts to add some crunchness to it. It came with a good amount of juicy and well seasoned chicken. The frozen yogurt was tart, and I didn't like eating it without the baklava. The baklava was a good addition to it. In general it's a good place. I would come back to get the salad or wrap, not the frozen yogurt though.

This review is just for their froyo which I think is the redeeming factor. Cause first time I tried souvla and hayes valley and was not a fan....but always wanted to try the froyo. Weird to say that this is the first time I've had froyo that tastes like actual yogurt. Its one of those things you don't realize til you have the real deal. Highly recommend with baklava crumbles, the sweetness balances the tartness. Although its kinda steep...$8....I think I'd still prefer boba if ima pay that kind money yaknow?

Came here after queueing for another restaurant, as the wait for that restaurant I had originally wanted to go to nearby was over an hour long--it honestly was just what I needed-something light, healthy, quick-service. There wasn't a wait or line when I went--you order right as you enter the restaurant at the registers up in front. It was my first time at Souvla so I'm not sure if there is a longer menu or customizations you can make to the existing offerings on the menu, and I quickly ordered a Chicken salad. You then take a number and find yourself a seat further into the restaurant at any spare table of your liking. Your order is then brought out to you--very quickly I might add! I might have come on an off night, but the chicken tasted a bit off and gamey to me. I definitely appreciated the hearty portion, but after a couple bites, it did get a bit monotonous. I did like that the salad was half kale/half romaine! The kale was perfectly massaged (which many restaurants fail to do) so that it was tender! Was hoping there'd be more textural variation in the salad, like more crunchies like nuts or maybe radish, etc. and more flavor with the chicken and dressing. Would come back to try something different on their menu!

Was this $19 salad delicious? YES!!! Should a salad cost $19? NO! Will I be eating this $19 salad again? OF COURSE! Highly recommend: pork shoulder + Greek style (with fries) + hot sauce Minus one star because you can't substitute a yogurt dressing for an olive oil (both come with it on the side) without a surcharge. I really HOPE their olive oil isn't cheaper than yogurt, but it seems to be!

Yummy healthy Mediterranean for lunch & dinner at a reasonable price for the quality & quantity of food. Ordered delivery which was fast & fresh. The salads are nicely balanced with dressings, veggies & meat options. Love the juicy potatoes which are cooked with drippings from the meat rotissaire. Recommend the lamb salad and chicken salad. Small menu, but all the meals I've ordered here have been consistently delicious. Highly recommend!

By far my absolute FAVORITE place in San Francisco. I always get the sweet potato sandwich with greek fries on the side, and every time it is absolutely amazing. The real star of the show is the greek yogurt (always get an extra!). I'm not sure what it is, but all the flavors come to together very nicely for a clean, healthy, refreshing meal. They also added a nice patio / outdoor seating, which is nice on warmer days. They have 5-6 tables inside as well, so could definitely snag a spot with friends and chat. Service is super quick!! Don't forget to get the baklava yogurt as well.

First time at Souvla and I'm hooked! The pork salad blew my mind--delicious and perfectly portioned. So good, I almost forgot to snap a pic! Requested no yogurt and it was still amazing. Their cola? Yummy, a close second to Mexican cola. Despite its small size, the outdoor seating was charming. Friendly staff added to the great experience. Five stars all the way!

Excellent. I'm absolutely coming back. I was genuinely impressed at how good everything was. Not only was the food ready pretty quickly, it tasted incredible. The chicken wrap was delicious. It had oranges inside and it was the perfect combination of flavors. The fries were so good, I think I would've loved a dipping sauce to go with it, but otherwise they were stellar. Let's not forget the dessert. Wow wow wow. The yogurt was tart but it really grew on me and the baklava crumbles were to die for. Incredible vibes! Considering moving to SF after this... haha

An SF Staple! I love bringing my friends who visit the city here, as a quick bite that's a little elevated. Of course, it's pricier than typical fast food, but the quality is pretty good IMO and the service is quick! Get the BAKLAVA FROYO - sooooooo good. it costs a pretty penny at $8 for a cup, but the froyo is so tart and the baklava is sweet and chewy, making it the perfect snack on a hot summer day. Their wraps and fries are all pretty good too! This location in particular also has the cutest back patio! Its nice and shaded and has plenty of seating. You can also take it to-go and munch in Alamo, since it's so close!

Souvla on Divisadero Street is a welcoming restaurant that looks small from the outside, but it is decently sized with a good amount of seating inside the restaurant (4-6 tables), as well as in the back patio (5-7 tables). The patio is a perfect place to enjoy your meal and there are also light and heaters outside, so that you can enjoy your meal. When you arrive to Souvla, you first order and then find a seat. I wouldn't recommend large groups at this location because there are many tables, however, many of them only seat 4 people and I feel as if it would be quite difficult to find tables to eat together as a group of more than 4. The staff at this location is friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Souvla is a fresh and healthy greek restaurant. There menu consists of mainly salads and gyros, but they also sell sides such as fries, soup, and vegetables. A unique part of their menu is their fresh greek yogurt. I love Souvla and I would even consider it one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco. I personally love the chicken salad. It has a wide variety of greens (kale and fennel), oranges, pickled red onions, cheese, and rotisserie chicken with their homemade "granch" dressing all on top. While it is a large amount of food and a delicious meal, it is priced at $17. The same meal but in the gyro form (wrapped in pita bread) is priced at $16. Although I would never spend that much money on a salad anywhere else, I would recommend this salad to a friend because it is simple and delicious, while being fresh and bursting with flavor. Souvla has a "greek style" that you can get on any meal with french fries on top for an additional $1. Although I have never tried this, I am aware that it is very popular here. Another item you cannot skip out on is the Baklava Greek Yogurt. This dessert is simply greek yogurt with honey and baklava. I had never tried baklava prior to Souvla, but it is similar to a granola, however a bit sweeter. It is such a refreshing dessert without being too sugary.

This was a great option for a quick dinner before a concert at The Independent (1 block away). We dined in but you could've easily taken it to go. The service was fast and the entire dining experience went very smoothly. The sandwich wasn't the most filling and I also spilled a lot (probably more because I'm a messy eater though) but overall it was still a good experience.
