Best Restaurants in Arlington | Eater Dallas

"This Asian spot off the Loews hotel offers a trifecta of experiences: sushi, robata, and steaks. Some of the finest A5 wagyu and omakase for the table are on the menu if you want to splurge. For something more scaled back, try the miso black cod or a simple fried rice. Go big, or don’t — there are yummy flavors to explore either way. The interiors are sophisticated and Asian-influenced, and there are various types of seating for every mood. Immerse yourself in the sushi experience at the sushi counter, grab a table in the main dining room, sip cocktails in the front bar, request a patio seat with a view of the stadium, and on nights when it is open, check out the back bar, which is decorated with bamboo and pastels." - Courtney E. I've been meaning to get up here for a while. Kinda bummed with myself that I haven't done it sooner. We had an awesome experience. Big thanks to Gabby our excellent server for guiding us through an awesome taste of the incredible food this place has to offer. This is one of the few places that Arlington has to offer with an excellent fine dining experience that transports you to big city vibes. The ambiance is top notch. Let's talk about the food. I am a big foodie and as I mentioned I'm so disappointed in myself for not coming here already. Yes it's a little pricey, but the food is worth it. The fusion of Asian cuisines is unique and memorable in every way. One of those places where you just can't order something wrong. All of it is so good. Go wild get everything, ask Gabby to tell you what to get if you can't decide. You will be so happy. Thanks guys!

This place is definitely ig worthy & both food & drink were great! Our server was sweet & knowledgeable. There's a taco that is literally one bite but when I tell you, that bite is EVERYTHING! Lobster wonton, sushi, ribs, both whisky cocktails, it was all good. My only complaint is parking. They make it sound like you can conveniently valet right out front but it's at the hotel a nice walk and a set of stairs outside to get to the restaurant. Then, they do truly validate but tell you the valet fee jumps to $200 at 2 hours so we were rushing to get our party parked and inside and seated and eating and drinking on a clock, not being able to control kitchen or bar or server response time. Something should be adjusted there.

🌟 Soy Cowboy delivers a standout experience that blends flavor, style, and hospitality into one unforgettable night out. 🍱 The Asian fusion menu is a vibrant showcase—hot and cold appetizers are impeccably balanced in texture and taste. Each bite offers a bold, creative twist, whether it’s the lobster wontons or the sesame peppers. 🍸 The mixed drinks are crafted with care—both visually stunning and surprisingly complex. 🛎️ Service is top-tier: attentive, timely, and genuinely welcoming, making the evening feel polished but never pretentious. 💡 The atmosphere is a feast for the senses—bright and elegant, with sleek design and cozy vibes that strike the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. Whether you’re out for a date night, a celebration, or just craving a refined twist on familiar flavors with friends, Soy Cowboy hits the mark.

Such a beautiful place! I was super excited to go try this because it was fairly new. My server was attentive and he was able to answer any and all questions I had. I got the eggplant taco and it was alright, a picture online showed there was a bit of caviar which was not included on mine. The fried rice I got was very salty, and a bit over greasy. I tried to cut it with some hot sauce which helped a tad bit. I added snow crab to the dish, which was cooked just fine. I liked the crunchy bit on top of the fried rice. Their cocktail I tried was a Violet Spritz, nicely balanced and refreshing. I would go back to try other dishes because I happened to be seated right next to the kitchen and all the plates that came out looked so so appealing!

Please spend your money elsewhere!! It is SO not worth it. Atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant is the only redeeming quality. We had a reservation for 5 at dinner. We arrived slightly before and the hostess sat us at a random table saying they needed to get our table ready. Watched them look at an empty table and them come get us to seat us at the "prepared" table. When everyone arrived, the waiter told us this was a family style menu, meant for sharing and sampling. We ordered drinks and he ended up bringing the wrong ones. One mistake...no biggie. ( they were also out of 3 types of beers that we requested) We requested one of each type of dumpling to start. Ended up getting 3 chicken... when it came time to order some entrees we asked if two could share the fried rice( remember this is a family style menu) waiter told my husband, no that definitely won't be enough for 2. Orders came..that would have been plenty. Food is mediocre at best, definitely does not match it's price point. Water ended up costing us $32. Total bill was about $500 for 5 people. We split 3 ways and then later discovered the restaurant charged our host the third AND the full $500 bill. Extremely unprofessional when trying to resolve. We will never be back and I am happy to tell everyone who asks to please don't waste their time and money here!

Google
Very nice and upscale inside, perfect for an anniversary or special occasion dinner but too expensive to be a regular place to hang out. There’s no reason my chicken fried rice should’ve been $30. With that being said, I knew the prices before I went but wanted to experience it. Food was really good but again, not worth the price.

Honestly I was really excited to come here. We have huge convention starting today 4/25 next door at Loews hotel. I ate a lot of sushi. Judging by the pictures here, they put wasabi and ginger on the sushi plate whenever people order one. But ours didn’t come with wasabi and ginger at all. There were 4 of us, we asked for wasabi and ginger as normal customers eating sushi would expect the condiments. After we ate the third plate, it still didn’t come, we requested it. Service was little slow but it’s very disappointing. Love the restaurant, decor etc but the presentation is lacking. We are seating outside still but I just have to write this. I am not sure if this is standard here in this restaurant which I find this really odd when a restaurant didn’t serve wasabi and ginger with sushi. There were 4 of us and finally it came out with tiny wasabi and few pieces of ginger. For the price that we are paying, I really don’t understand why being stingy on the condiments. Therefore, we have lots of people in the convention this weekend, and definitely will not come back here with more people in our group. For the price that we are paying, it is not worth the time just to request the condiments.

Google
We ordered 12 course chefs menu. It was wonderful. Everything about the experience was enjoyable. Four stars for atmosphere because the restaurant had fake bamboo hanging from the ceiling in the entry area. It was bizarre.

Yelp
Vibe is nice and the service was great. The sushi was a hit and the chicken dumplings tasted really good. I was a bit shocked to see the Branzino. I wasn't expecting it to be deep fried - which took away from the flavor of the food. Overall the meal started really well and then fell a bit flat. Neither of us enjoyed the main entree enough to finish it.

Yelp
Had date night on Saturday and this spot was beautiful. Service was amazing. Our food and drinks came out quickly and we were checked on by our waiter and other staff walking by. We had the lobster wonton, hamachi chili, fried rice, orange chicken and a salmon shrimp tempura roll--I recommend all of this! Our favorite was the lobster wonton! Least was the snow crab. The only thing to be mindful of is that if you order water it's only bottle $8 each. And once they will replace it without asking. We didn't say anything just because we didn't want to make a big deal but just a heads up.

Yelp
Okay Soy Cowboy, I see you and I like you and damnit I wish you were open for lunch with a sliiightly more affordable menu just so I could justify visiting more often. In the meantime this will be more of a special occasion spot for me. Or maybe an every now and then cocktail and appetizer spot. A sushi roll and a glass of wine. The menu is really lovely and the gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan items are clearly marked. The food here is pan-Asian, so it's got a little of everything.. sushi, tempura, robatayaki, hibachi, teppanyaki, and Korean barbeque. At least according to their website! I'm looking forward to slowly working my way through every gluten free item available! But to start, I went with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and the Truffle Kanpachi Roll: spicy salmon, shiso, cucumber, puffed rice, and cilantro truffle dressing. Aaaaaaand it was fantastic! It's always risky to order anything with truffle oil, but I really do love it when it's super subtle. This sushi roll was sooo delicious. And they have gluten free soy sauce too! I just sat at the bar for maybe 45 minutes because I didn't have a ton of time, but the time I did spend at Soy Cowboy was really enjoyable. The ambiance cannot be beat, it's absolutely beautiful and feels very opulent inside -- gorgeous high ceilings and tall windows. It's a fantastic setting for a dinner party or a date. The prices make sense considering the vibes, quality of food, the stunning plating, and the prime location at the Lowe's Arlington Hotel (by both the cowboys and rangers stadiums and more; park in the closest parking garage)!

Yelp
We stopped in for dinner before a concert (great location as it is just across from all the event festivities). We had no reservations but were able to get a table for 2 with no wait. The inside is HUGE, I think the capacity is upwards of 400. I've never seen a restaurant so large unless it was in Vegas. We got a variety of plates to share between the two of us including the Bluefin Toro Tacos, Wagyu potstickers, Wagyu fried rice, and Otoro nigiri. The Bluefin Toro Tacos were bitesized (2 bites) and the Otoro nigiri was also on the smaller size. The food was tasty although I feel like it was expensive for what it was and the portions were small for the price. Everything was find but nothing was outstanding. Soy Cowboy would be a good option if you were here with a large group or a work dinner before an outing for a game or concert.

Yelp
The food was hot but was very basic food. The orange chicken was more pieces of crisps than chicken. Our server was nice but may have checked in twice total. We even had to flag down a different server to ask for things. The ambiance is what this place really offered, outside of that, I was very unimpressed. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

Yelp
I'm not a sushi fan so I was pleasantly surprised there were other options on the menu. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. They have nice wine options and asian beer. If you're looking for an upscale restaurant near Texas Live, this is a great option. It's also close to the highway so it's convenient from all parts of the metroplex.

Yelp
We came here for business dinner and location was convenient. Ambiance was modern yet rustic. Servers were attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and satisfying. I was impressed by the presentation of dishes like sparklers on the dessert. It was great experience and we enjoyed it.

Yelp
Food was amazing & although the service was good, it wasn't GREAT. There were periods we were left alone for a good deal of time & nobody came to check on us. Atmosphere was very nice though, and the decor was 10/10.

Yelp
OK, this place is really almost too cool for Arlington. The ambience is one of a kind. The decor is awesome. The service was incredible and the food was over the top good it is kind of family style so you share a lot. Which makes it even better?

Yelp
Best DFW metroplex dining experience I've had in quite a while. Can't wait to come back to try the rest of their mouthwatering menu! What we got: We decided to do a snacking type of dinner so we got the snow crab taco, crispy rice tuna, wagyu beef skewers, french fries with fresh truffle, truffle kanpachi roll, and the dragon roll. For drinks, we got a few raspberry refreshers and a strawberry rose refresher with Ketel One ($245). Everything was delectable to say the absolute least. My favorites were the taco, skewers and dragon roll. Taco was absolutely tiny & had a heavy price tag - but completely understandable and will definitely order again because it was one of the best things I've ate in my life. Environment: Stunning. Breathtaking. We were in awe from the moment we stepped in. I'm a person of detail and Soy Cowboy delivers exactly that. Service: Outstanding. I'm really glad they decided to go the route of "once it's ready in the kitchen, it's coming to your table".

Yelp
This is a GREAT dinner spot if you're in town for a concert or game! We had a girls dinner and truly loved this spot! It's so beautiful on the inside & HUGE! Service was incredible and very helpful with picking our dinner options. The fish could have been a touch fresher but was still good! Crispy tuna was amazing and the chili garlic edamame were spicy goodness!!

Yelp
So fabulous! Even though it's close to cowboys stadium and a bunch of other entertainment venues, this restaurant is not quick, casual, or basic. The decor here is absolutely stunning. Worthy of a very special occassion. My family and I stopped for lunch so it was pretty empty. We shared: Yellowfin Tuna Tartare Korean BBQ Ribs Pork Shu Mai Miso Marinated Black Cod Crispy Rice Tuna Yellowtail Serrano Roll The presentation of all the dishes were beautiful but the flavors were phenomenal as well. The only dish I didn't love was the pork shu mai but the other dishes more than made up for it. The service was excellent as well! Our server, I believe his name was Adrian, was quick to make suggestions and they were very accomodating of our little kids even though I would say this is more an "adult" restaurant. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite before a concert last night and left very impressed. The space is very impressive and gives out serious Las Vegas restaurant vibes. Drinks and food are pricey but worth the splurge. The "mini" Toro Taco with caviar and freshly shaved black truffles is probably one of best amuse I've had in a while! Everything else we ordered was great the seared salmon roll was delicious, crispy tuna rice, rock shrimp tempura. Way to go !

Yelp
In town for the All Star Week. Soy Cowboy was convenient to everything and sushi sounded like a good idea. A friend and I were seated promptly for a minimal early dinner. All staff were courteous and friendly. The manager made a point to stop by to gauge our satisfaction. He added that the restaurant has only been open for two weeks, in time for the baseball event. The kitchen was well-prepared during that time. We started with four Korean bbq ribs as an app ($24). The glaze was a delicious addition to the moist rib meat that easily pulled away from the bone. Excellent choice. My friend went with the dragon roll, Prawn tempura, avocado, mango, snow crab, spicy aioli ($24). He really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the yellowfin and Serrano specialty roll($23). Fresh flavors and not packed with spice. This spot will thrive as long as they maintain their high standards.

Yelp
Located under a hotel and next to the T-Mobile stadium! Came here after game and it was pretty busy! The truffle roll is a must get! It's super tasty and well balanced in flavor! The service is good and there's a lot of seating options which was nice. They play good music as well
google avatar

Yelp
Food was good but bartender was horrible and rude!! I won't be back bc of her rudeness and it wasn't a busy night. The staff kept asking her was she ok and that's a clue you need to go home!

Yelp
We dined here last night before a concert. What a pleasant surprise! The decor is 10 out of 10 a Vegas vibe and we love it! It's a super trendy restaurant with excellent food. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We started off with the fried cauliflower, that sounds basic, but oh it is not! ...Fried but gluten-free with hazelnuts, some type of goat cheese smear, and raisins... That was the best cauliflower app we've ever had. We also got the barbecue ribs and they didn't stand a chance at our table; they disappeared rapidly. Two people ordered the Wagyu fried rice and ate every bite. My daughter got the California roll and really enjoyed it as well. I had the miso black cod which was simply amazing. It was flaky, yet delicate and sweet. Perfect cook. I will go back for the margarita, the fried cauliflower, and the cod. Bravo!

Yelp
A Vegas style gym in the heart of Arlington Texas, Soy Cowboy is fine dining at its best! From the moment we arrived, service was impeccable and we enjoyed a night of exceptional service. Complimentary valet is available as the restaurant is just outside the Loews Hotel. The ambience is perfect for a romantic night out or a fun girls night! I was instantly impressed with the decor both inside and on their indoor bar area with floor to ceiling windows. We had reservations and was quickly seated to our table. After an order of drinks, we were brought cold towels to clean our hands which was quite refreshing. We happen to try this place during restaurant week and had a great three course of spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura, and a delicious hamburger. Someone in my party ordered the delicious steak which was as smooth as butter ordered medium rare. We ended the evening with the popular cowboy cone dessert and a strawberry treat, not equally delicious and perfectly served. I am excited to have such an amazing restaurant in Arlington and we look forward to coming back soon.

Yelp
Las Vegas-style Fine Dining has arrived in Arlington, Texas. Tonight we had the pleasure of eating at Soy Cowboy to celebrate my birthday. Since we know the Berg Hospitality group has done such a great job with B&B Butcher, we had high expectations, and Soy Cowboy did not disappoint. First, you can valet at the Loew's Arlington Hotel and they will validate. We arrived to a stunning dining room with exceptional decor. Beautiful fabrics, layered wood paneled ceilings, and great lighting really set the tone. The restaurant is gorgeous. Our server, Edgar was wonderful. He walked us through the menu and made recommendations on how many dishes to order. For two of us, we chose six starters, two sushi rolls, one main Roboto, and a side. We started with the Crispy Rice Tuna. Delightful! Fresh tuna, with a spicy mayo and siracha, and perfectly crisp sushi rice. The perfect bite! Next was the Rock Tempura Shrimp. Light as air batter, poppable shrimp, served over a lovely dressed salad with diced pineapple. While the shrimp could be larger, the sauce and salad were perfect, and the batter was exceptional. Perfectly seasoned, too. Next was the cucumber salad. Wow! This dish was a star. So fresh, filled with perfectly cut cucumbers, diced avocado, peeled cherry tomatoes, picked onion, and Furikake, all with a delightful sesame vinaigrette with notes of peanut. One of the best salads I have ever had. The sushi rolls were up next. The Surf & Turf Roll and Truffle Kanapachi Roll. The Surf & Turf roll has tempura shrimp, tamago, cucumber, topped with A5 Wagyu and a delightful green sauce. This roll was exceptional. The Truffle Kanapachi Roll was spicy salmon, puffed cucumber, ships peppers, topped with Kanapachi, cilantro truffle and micro greens. Really fresh and tasty roll! The next app was a STAR. The Lobster Wontons. Perfectly cooked dumpling dough, perfect lobster filling, nestled in the most flavorful teriyaki butter broth with chive oil and mushrooms. Possibly the most perfect bite of the night. Last, the main, the Miso Black Cod. We'll call this fish butter, because it was perfectly cooked, rich, moist, and flavorful. Did not need a knife to cut it. Perfect flake. The miso glaze has a tiny bit of char, and served with the baby bok choy, and sauce it was divine. It paired exceptionally well with the fresh sweet corn with miso butter and 7 spice. The broth with the corn was the star. The manager, Clay, who came out to chat with us and was one of the friendliest, kind restaurant managers I have met. He brought out a dessert platter that was a superstar! Chef's selection of desserts, including the Cocoa-nut and Mandarin Orange, along with a large array of perfectly ripe fresh fruit, and two custard tartlets. The Cocoa-nut was the best dessert I have ever had. A chocolate shell with coconut panna cotta, pineapple like compote, and some other delicious textural components that made ever bite a surprise and delight. I could eat that dessert again and again. The orange had a light lavender soil base and a citrus interior and light cake wrapped in mousse. Even the stems were edible. From the service Edgar provided, to Clay's hospitality and the EXCEPTIONAL food, I give this restaurant a perfect score. It's also so gorgeous. Go now, before the secret gets out. It's a gem!!

Yelp
Girls day!!! From the time we walked in the amazing experience began!!! The hostesses that greeted us were very welcoming and beautiful. We were seated immediately....Our waiter,/server Chris was amazing...he explained the way the kitchen works so we understood how to order. First we had the Korean BBQ ribs!!! Excellent..sweet ..tangy..tender...next we had the lobster wonton's, AMAZING, the broth was everything, great amount of lobster!! Next the chicken wonton's, I personally felt the broth was a little over whelming, but the wonton itself was delicious. My granddaughter had the burger, amazing!!! The fried rice with waygu steak was also amazing. Next we had the whole lobster and that was succulent, moist and cooked to perfection. Almost forgot we ordered the dragon roll!!!....fresh, flavorful, loved it! Oh the drinks!!! Had the Persephone, well balanced, chilled... delicious, the watermelon Martini was also well balanced..spicy and delicious, my daughter had a strawberry margarita and a Spring training, both she was very happy about. All in all would definitely come back ..I'm from Jersey, daughter lives in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Wonderfully dinner with my daughter and granddaughter.

Yelp
Read it before but will say it again... Vegas style vibes in our very own backyard. The vibes from the point you walk in the the very end we're exceptional. The server was very attentive, knowledgeable and inviting. The interior is tastefully decorated with an intimate vibe. The restaurant week menu looked amazing. There were 3 courses with various options. I opted out of the tasting menu since the sushi options were calling my name. I started off with the salt and pepper calamari which was very tasty. For dinner I ordered the vegetable tempura which was perfectly crisp and the truffle kanpachi roll. I could probably eat that everyday for the rest of my life! I also had a bite of the baby gem salad, California roll and the beef filet from the restaurant week menu. All were great but I loved the sushi options more.

Yelp
Never in my 25 years living in Arlington, would I have guessed that Arlington would get a prestigious restaurant like Soy Cowboy. We have been looking forward to Soy Cowboys opening in Arlington for a year since learning about their opening at B&B Butcher in Fort Worth. To those who don't know about B&B Butcher in Fort Worth, it is one of the best steak houses in Fort Worth owned by the Berg Hospitality group. The Berg Hospitality Group owns 15 concept restaurants, that are mostly in Texas, that focus on perfecting food quality as well as perfecting the quality service. Soy Cowboy is the newest concept that the Berg Hospitality Group has opened in Arlington serving immaculate Asian fusion dishes. I can officially say that no other restaurant in Arlington can beat Soy Cowboy in terms of flavor, quality, atmosphere, and service. Just walking into Soy Cowboy you are automatically immersed into an atmosphere that feels like a restaurant in Vegas or California in terms of intimacy, escapism, and theme. If I had to describe a similar restaurant that exhibits the same atmospheric qualities as Soy Cowboy it would be the Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant at Bellagio in Vegas. You don't feel like you are in Arlington when dining at Soy Cowboy which plays into the escapism factor of this dining experience. I recommend if you have reservations get here early to enjoy the bar as well! The bartenders are friendly and the drinks are great! Let's dive into the food that will leave you awestruck and begging for more during your dining experience at Soy Cowboy. (Extra note: they bring you refreshing cold towels to wipe your hands with when you sit down.. talk about amazing service!) We chose the Hamachi Chili with serrano pepper, cucumber relish, cilantro, and ponzu to start with. This was the first dish that we tried and it broke my mind in terms of flavor and quality. The citrus, cilantro, and sweetness of the ponzu blended with a chorus of flavors... it will leave you amazed! I've had my share of hamachi and think this might be the best! The next appetizer was the Korean BBQ Ribs that came with peanuts, scallions, sesame, pickled fresno peppers, and cilantro. If you are looking for more of a comforting appetizer order these! The meat falls off the bone and the savory flavors work so well with the sweet glaze on top. Instead of going into the main course, we had to try Soy Cowboys' specialty sushi rolls. This is the best sushi in Arlington! Might be honestly my favorite sushi ever! We ordered the surf and turf roll, yellowtail serrano roll, and the truffle kanpachi roll. If you want a more tame and refreshing roll order the yellowtail serrano roll. If you want more of a bold flavor order the surf and turf roll or the truffle kanpachi roll. All three of these rolls blew my mind when it came to flavor and freshness but the one which stood out the most was the truffle kanpachi roll. I was flabbergasted by how much flavor was packed into one roll. For our main course, we ordered the 1.5 lbs whole roasted lobster and the Australian wagyu tomahawk to share. For myself, I had to order the miso marinated black cod since I love any kind of miso fish, especially in California and Truluck's restaurant in Southlake. I was glad that I ordered the miso marinated black cod because there is nothing comparable to this soft, flaky, buttery sweet miso cod! It's better than any miso cod in California and much better than Truluck's miso sea bass. The lobster just melts in your mouth that will change your preconceptions about lobster. Immaculate! The king or the actual star of the main courses would be the Australian wagyu. You can taste the quality, the richness, the tenderness, and the smoky marbling of the meat that is present in every bite. The main courses were flawless! I had high expectations of Soy Cowboy beforehand and somehow they surpassed my expectations by 10 fold. This restaurant left me astounded in terms of food quality, flavors, service, atmosphere, and attention to detail. In my dreams, I only imagined Soy Cowboy to be a restaurant that could only exist in upscale southern California or a restaurant in Vegas but, dreams do come true which now exist in Arlington Texas. Well done Soy Cowboy! This is the first upscale, fine-dining, and five-star restaurant in Arlington! We will be back and will recommend everyone to come and experience Soy Cowboy! My reasoning for 5 stars: Atmosphere: intimate, modern, theme-driven, and immersible. -Adds to escapism Service: Friendly, attentive to detail, knowledgeable, talkative, well-trained and professional. -Talkative and being friendly creates a bond between customers and staff members facilitating commensality Food: Fresh food, attention to quality, diversification of flavors, and complexity of flavors. -The pleasure factor Where else can you find this quality of food in Arlington Texas? Nowhere! Overall experience: unique, flavorful, and top quality

Yelp
The ambiance of this restaurant is so dreamy and cozy. It's the perfect place to enjoy a romantic dinner. The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.

Yelp
Service was good. Lovely decor inside. My friends enjoyed the miso cod and dragon rolls. Nigiri portions were super tiny for the price. $23 for a basic 8-piece tuna roll? Uni was excellent. If I went back I'd get the cod.

Yelp
So I don't normally review much, but everything was so bizarre here that I just wanted to get this all out... First weird thing: the bathrooms - they are SO DARK. Like almost pitch black! And I get that they're going for a "vibe", but please, I don't want to stumble around when I'm just trying to find a stall... even just a few more lights would help. It honestly gave "weird dungeon in a porno" vibes rather than "elegant". Second bizarre thing: the towels. It's pretty normal and common to be given a hot towel at the beginning of a fine dining experience, but when we got our towels, they were COLD. Like super duper cold! It was incredibly off-putting and unpleasant... I imagine it was done on purpose, but we were all thrown off by it because the usual expectation is a hot towel. It just felt like we were using someone's used gross bathroom towel... The next weird thing was the menu itself: the menu items list ingredients next to the name, but they don't include the "main" part of the item. (Example, a salmon roll doesn't actually list that it contains salmon). And one can infer what's supposed to be there, but one of the items was a "Soy Cowboy Burger". One of our party did not eat meat, so she looked at the name and the ingredients list, and decided she'd order that. I had been mulling over the lack of clarity on the menu and luckily asked our waiter what the patty was made of, and sure enough, it was some kind of wagyu... NOT soy. And yes I know the restaurant is called "Soy Cowboy"... but if the main ingredient had been included, the potential for confusion would not have happened. It really sounded like it would be a "SOY" (cowboy) Burger, not a "SOY COWBOY" Burger. Next, I feel like my party got caught in a money trap because we all ordered sushi, and after the waiter took our orders, he asked if we wanted wasabi. Most of us did, and we didn't think anything of it until the bill came and they charged us each TEN DOLLARS for it... it was not on the menu and it was not specified that we'd be charged, because the way the question was asked was just like if they were asking if we wanted any other condiment. It felt money-grubby and definitely ruffled our feathers. I am fine paying for a nicer quality wasabi, but would just have liked it to be clear it was extra. Lastly, they messed up one of my party's orders and while they did fix it, it was just one more weird thing during this experience because it seemed that only one of the waiters knew the difference between the sushi rolls... it just seemed odd for such a high-roller type place to have anyone, much less multiple, employees not know the difference in menu items. Some of them did not know how to correctly pronounce menu items, too... which again, was just strange coming from a higher-end place that is allegedly supposed to know what they're about when it comes to their food. But the restaurant was touted as a "Tour of Asia" in a really cringey fashion, so I guess I shouldn't have expected too much... That all said, I can't complain about the food - everything was tasty, albeit on the (very) expensive side. The servers were all nice, too. It's just that everything about our experience was so odd that none of us left feeling particularly satisfied. But hey, now we have things to talk about whenever the topic of weird restaurants comes up, so I guess there's that, haha. Would I go back or recommend the place? No. But again my perspective is really not about the food, which was just fine. Our whole experience - a bunch of really odd but small things that added up - just unfortunately put us all off from ever returning.

Yelp
Where to begin. When you walk in the ambience was breath taking! It's like you walked into a hidden world. Tall ceilings and dark lighting makes it nice and quaint. We had the Korean ribs and the meat fell off the bones. Next was the salt and pepper calamari. The batter was light and not chewy, like most places. Edamame was edamame. We shared the platters. Yoki Sabo noodles were in a different level. The seasonings on top made the dish explode. The terrain was flavorful. Chicken fried was good, they use short grain rice. (Which was different) Orange chicken was light in the batter and the sauce was thick but not excessive. They use thigh meat in all of their chicken dishes. The dessert platter presentation was cool. The Japanese cheesecake was super light and fluffy. The coconut dessert (forgot the name) had chocolate hard shell with panna cotta and fresh mango inside was delicious. It's a must experience!

Yelp
I absolutely LOVED this place. I wish I didn't live so far because I would be here ALL the time. Amazing service, food, & decor!

Yelp
The bartender tonight was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better experience if I tried. She was thoughtful, even though she was busy. I will definitely be back. Not to mention the food was phenomenal.

Yelp
My friends and I had an amazing experience! We went during Restaurant Week and enjoyed every single course. The Spicy Tuna Roll was fresh, Rock Shrimp was fantastic and the Salmon Teriyaki was the perfect texture. My friends had the orange chicken which happened to be a the highlight at the table. The Wagyu Fried Rice was also incredible. The coconut dessert was pretty good as well. The ambience was moody and dark which is so perfect for an intimate gathering. All in all, I had an amazing time and will definitely return! I will say the only downside was when we had to pay. They only allowed 3 forms of payment and we were a party of 8. Not a major issue, but something to consider if you are going with a big group. Parking: Valet at the hotel is free for 3 hours if you validate your ticket at the restaurant. You can also park across the street at Texas Live.

Yelp
I had a great experience here and will definitely be coming back. I enjoyed the ambiance and the ability to sit on the lounge or restaurant side. Food was amazing! We enjoyed the Branzino, Surf & Turf Roll, Ribs, and more. The service was a tad bit slow but not too much to complain over.

Yelp
Food was fantastic. Good experience the price was not worth it. I'd go somewhere else and get the same kind of food for cheaper. Service was awesome.

Yelp
This was the most money for the least flavorful food I have ever had. Never mind that the portions were very small (I'm looking at you, crab taco). The only tasty bit was the lobster wonton (only the broth, mind you). I don't mind paying top dollar for good food but this was just meh. Not going back.

Yelp
Totally unexpected treat. Lance at the bar was a great host. Food was tasty. Good selection. Good music. Will be back next time I'm in the DFW area.

Yelp
Restaurant is beyond gorgeous and very stylish. Food was excellent and I would say fine dining quality. Unfortunately the service needs some work especially at this caliber of a restaurant. We had to pour our own water, ask for the wine to be poured, our plates were not changed out during the whole dining experience, and then we had to ask for the table to be wiped. All of this took a possibly 5* review to a 3*. Fortunately these are things that can be worked on.

Yelp
Pretty mid overall. I had high hopes for Soy Cowboy, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. To start, it took forever for drinks to come out, one person even had their drink sent to the wrong table multiple time. I was left waiting for just a simple glass of water, which was empty for most of the meal and never properly refilled. When they did refill it the lighting at our table was so dark they spilled water all over. Most dishes are setup to be shareable, yet utensils for sharing were not always provided. This was especially noticeable with dessert. The menu selection is seriously lacking, especially considering the steep prices. While the dishes may look appealing in terms of presentation, the quality of the ingredients and the flavors just don't match up. It feels like they're more concerned with how the food looks than how it tastes. Overall, Soy Cowboy is all style and no substance.

Yelp
I'm sure they are working out their kinks but drinks took forever and I mean forever. I got apologized to 3 times. For all 3 rounds. Food was ok...the spicy garlic edamame was undercooked and salty, the shishito peppers were great but the dips were more mayo than flavor. The fried rice was kind of mushy and the service was not good. I never got a refill on my sparking water until I was done eating. And I just drank my daughter's still water the whole time. Kind of reminds me of Joe t Garcias. Beautiful but it has no heart. It was my daughter's 21st birthday so I was going to let her get a little tipsy and Uber us back to the hotel. I was waiting on drinks the entire time. We had champagne to start. Then a girly martini and split an espresso martini at the end. I was waiting on a drink or waiting to order one the entire duration of our 2 hour visit. The table was never bussed between courses except dessert and the crumbs were left all over the table. The manager offered us birthday dessert but the server dropped the check and we embarrassingly had to ask for the dessert from the server. I think he was just trying to get rid of us. And didn't want to offer it to us not knowing the manager wearing jeans a blazer tennis shoes and Stone washed jeans offered us one. Weird choice of uniform for such a beautiful and classy place. He was plenty nice, the server. Just not very professional and seemed to be in the weeds the majority of the time. In a hurry and absent for sure. We didn't like the tuna roll. It had a very potent fishy flavor I don't usually enjoy on my sushi. We both had one puce and set it to the side. The sever came by and we said we didn't care for it. He almost called and basically took off running with it which was probably to eat it having worked in the industry my entire working life. I don't blame him. I lm glad it didn't go to waste. We told him we didn't care for it but it was ok because we ordered it and are particular about our sushi. He definitely took the suggestion because we paid for it. I won't be back and the potential was there. I hope they get better management because it's so beautiful and has the potential it just needs someone better steering the ship. In my opinion of course. Who am I to say? Oh last thing and maybe the most bothersome. We were sat at a table with 4 place setting and only 2 of us. They were there the entire time. We were having to push them out of way to make room for the 3 courses on our table that they didn't seem to want to box or remove until I asked. Even with all the obvious signs. I want everyone to succeed. And I hope this is used for positive and constructive criticism. I just don't make the kind of money to risk $250 and not have a good time on a big birthday like 21 for my daughter. It was 198$ and I left $250. I truly see it was growing pains. Good luck!

Yelp
Food is great! Arlington has been missing a place like this, gives a high end feel so makes it perfect for a date night spot without having to drive to Dallas or Fort Worth. Servers are very attentive and give honest recommendations on the food items. I've been 3 times now and will definitely keep it on my rotation for a nice night out in Arlington

Yelp
Great experience.. delicious food and the vibe is on point. Come as you are no strict dress code

Yelp
Best sushi in tx, however, they pressure you to spend, and the prices are extreme. Service great, vibe is great.

Yelp
I went to Soy Cowboy the other day and was greeted by a Woman named Amariah who was very friendly and sweet and introduced me and a friend who were unfamiliar with the restaurant and gave great recommendations! She had recommended the truffle Kanpachi roll which was excellent! And our waitress whose name was Gabby N. Was also very excellent and was very sweet and kind , she had also gave us great recommendations such as the Korean BBQ ribs and Pork shu Mai ! Everything was great and the waitress and hostess were both amazing !! Would recommend 10/10

Yelp
I'm so proud beautiful pan Asian restaurant opened in the entertainment center of Arlington! Walking distance between all 3 stadiums.

Yelp
Great experience at StretchLab Cherry Creek. I find the stretches to be as rewarding as any massage I've received in the past. I consistently look forward to my visits at that location

Yelp
Let me start by saying this is an amazing restaurant. Everything we tried was delicious. We have been there three times now. The first time the server and the service were amazing and it really made a huge impression. The second two times we were there the service leave something to be desired. Nothing I like less than having to wait for a drink refill or wait to order. I was even more disturbed considering we spent over $600 and got that horrible level of service. I would say everything on the menu is worth the additional cost with the exception of the A5. The server over sold us on it. We wind up buying more than anyone could possibly eat. The check just for the A5 was over $350 for four people. That was disturbing. If they had recommended an appropriate amount, it would've been half that and I would've been satisfied. A5 is very very rich and not something you can eat large quantities of. Conclusion as I would come here in a special occasion, however, if I have one more visit with bad service, it will be the last.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! The spicy tuna was my favorite, but everything was great. We had a fabulous server named Kevin, who provided excellent service.

Yelp
Very good but not memorable. I set a bar against Shinsei in Dallas and this was not even close to that. Service was almost too good! We ordered 7 things to share among 2 people thinking it would be paced out but they brought it all very quickly. Would have liked to enjoy my cocktail before first course but actually had 1st course before receiving cocktail. Server was amazing at helping us with the menu but kept interrupting with each dish to see how we rated it. Favorites were the Dragon Roll & Chicken Satay. Hamachi Chile, Chicken Dumplings and Crispy Rice with Tuna were very good. Did not love the Korean Ribs or the Coconut Panna Cotta.
