Maybe the Spanish like food of extremely strong taste with heavy sauce. My whole family including my Spanish husband that know pretty well what good Chinese food should be swear to god we won’t come back! I should have trusted my own judgment after looking at the photos in google map. As many clients gave such a great comment including some famous Spanish food critic, we gave it a chance. It’s such a big disappointment! The pig’s ear is coated with thick sauce. I do not understand why the Spanish like it this way as they know very well how to cook pigs’ ear which is never soaked in heavy sauce. For the xiaolongbao, it has no juice. The waiter told us to suck the juice before eating the dumplings. There’s really no juice available for sucking!! Without any juice inside, you cannot call it xiaolongbao! The wrapped duck meat has not a good proportion of meat with the wrapper. The stuffings should be halved. It’s because the duck meat is already mixed with a
sauce of strong taste. The banmiang was served with a peanut sauce on the side. As that’s the last dish, I already knew how strong taste the food has in this place, luckily I stopped the waiter from mixing the sauce with the noodle. The noodle is coated with sauce and why we need to add more sauce. I do not understand why it’s such a popular place especially it’s quite expensive for such a level of cooking! You can’t taste the food as everything is coated or soaked in heavy sauce of strong flavour!
