Google
Absolutely incredible service — hands down the best massage I’ve ever had in New York! I also got to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi, and hammam thanks to booking the massage, which made it a complete little wellness retreat right in the city, with gorgeous views over Central Park. So happy I discovered this spa — my back already thanked me! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Baby, it's cold outside. Blissfully I am here at Spa Nalai being totally pampered. Lucky girl I am. Stunning, stylish, and brightly polished spa this is. Private en suite to each of their treatment rooms. Refreshed, unknotted, and rejuvenated with the amazing massages by the magical hands of Gina. Steamed, showered, and moisturized. Ready to smell the roses and conquer life once again. CHEERS!

Yelp
Long overdue review to basically remind myself how it was. The facility is beautiful with a killer view from the locker room (where is this spa lounge in the photos? Was it closed when I went which was late 2021?) and the glass encased pool but the pool was too crowded and noisy and most importantly the massage was meh. Staff were extremely nice though.

Yelp
One of my favorite spas. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, large, and peaceful it was. My only complaint is the relaxation room is right by the check in/ welcome counter with only a sheet of glass separating. I would have preferred an actual wall to give more privacy. The jacuzzi/ pool area is beautiful.

Yelp
Really great experience from start to finish. Peaceful, indulgent, with good amenities.

Yelp
This spa is very nice . The views and ambiance are very nice . You have a beautiful view of 57th street and you feel like your on top of the world because it's high up.The inside of the spa is very modern and also very clean. They don't really have a lot of snacks or food to feed on . There's no sauna either . Also the pool is shared with hotel guest so if you want to take nice pictures by the pool come early like around 8-10am that's usually when it's quiet but after that the hotel guest come down usually with kids making all kinds of noise. The massage was average for the price and it was also over very quickly I barely felt like I got a massage . The only about this spa is the views and the pool that's really it.

Yelp
Worst experience ever. I am very very disappointed . The esthetician didn't ask me if I am sensitive skin and didn't tell me what is the process. He gave me twice hard face scrub even I told him to stop, my face become very red afterwards. They just simply say it will disappear after 20min , BUT IT DID NOT !!! The rash last for hours already ! When I complain to the supervisor, they just simply say the supervisor is not in the office! I pay $400 for a rash, this is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!

Yelp
This is one of the best Spa where I wish I could give more then 5 STARS. This was the most personalized, unique and amazing treatment I have ever had. One of my best massages ever by experienced and professional massage therapists. She really took her time to understand my concerns. Very clean, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable as well. Will be coming back soon.

Yelp
Let me start off my saying I LOVE THE DECOR AND BEAUTY OF THIS SPA!! It's kind of designed/decorated like my house. Very modern contemporary.... I believe I even have the same shades of gray! Normally I like darker spas this one was full of natural light which actually worked in the case of the spa. Just like my house same colors lots of natural light. Beautiful views of New York City. Very clean. Staff very friendly and not intrusive which is very important for me. I can the perfect time I have the spa almost completely to myself. Beautiful showers, all the amenities you could ever want. The pool, whirlpool, and steam room are all spectacular. The only issue I have is that they are shared with the hotel guests and I'm not sure if this is a New York City thing there are other hotels that have the same theme. Most people like to go spas to get away and not hear screaming children. I want to the pool area twice today. The first time there was nobody there and it was wonderful. Second time there were more people and kids and just was not relaxing at all. Another thing I noticed about most New York City spas that this spa did not include a sauna. I am from California, I have been to all the top spas in San Francisco and Los Angeles. They all have Saunas. I'm not sure why so many of the spas in New York City don't have them but for me the one of the most important things. Another thing I was not too fond of is there is no quiet or relaxation room. You have to wait for your massage in the lounge which is actually basically the reception area of the spa. Obviously it's impossible to relax in there. So there really is no where to relax other than when you were actually getting your service. They did have a nice Collection of teas and snacks. On another note, I originally had booked a exfoliation with wrap. Yesterday I had a scrub at the Peninsula spa and the woman nearly scrubbed my skin off. I emailed the Spa in the morning and asked to just get a massage and they said no problem basically. When the therapist came to get me and brought me to the room for me we were going to do our body service. I guess nobody gave the message or anything that my body service had been changed to a massage. I told her this and she said no problem. I asked her if she was an aesthetician and she said yes but that she could also do a massage. Now I know aesthetician's don't give the best massages that is not what they are trained for. She was however being very accommodating and it was not her fault so I felt bad. We decided to do a wrap Without exfoliation. Then I would take a shower and she would give me a massage the rest the time. And I was really pleasantly surprised that when I was marinating in the wrap, she gave me a scalp massage the entire time. Most aestheticians don't do that. They will give you a scalp massage for a few minutes and then go off and leave for 15 minutes. She stayed with me the whole time and give me the scalp massage. I really appreciated that. Wonderful thing about the massage room is it actually comes with its own steam room. Thought I should mention that too. So anyhow I washed off and she began a massage and just as expected it was not the kind of massage I would get from a massage therapist. But I know she was trying I could tell. She was doing everything in her power to make it an enjoyable experience. Again she was a wonderful aesthetician and this mixup was not her fault. Anyhow, I really enjoyed the facilities more than most in New York City. And my aesthetician who is also great I'm sure my exfoliation Would have been phenomenal. Overall, it's a great place if you are not a sauna person, And aren't in need of a day of complete relaxation as it is just not possible with this place. Based on the look and feel of the place alone I felt it definitely warranted 4 stars. If they had a sauna, And a place where you could go for quiet meditation it would definitely be a 5 star.

Yelp
The spa is just ok, the amenities is fine but the service has so much to improve. The view is good, in park Hyatt. We didn't get a specific introduction for the spa. We waited more than ten minutes to checkout, the staff is not efficient.

Yelp
One of the best facials ever! I've been to several Park Hyatts and tried out their facials but this one was easily the best. My aesthetician Joanna was amazing. She was very professional and as a plus, elegant! After my facial, I noticed how I kept internally saying "OMG THAT WAS AMAZING" over and over.

Yelp
I thought this spa was just okay. It's absolutely gorgeous and the views are amazing, but the amenities are not worth the high price tag. When I visited, the pool, steam room, and whirlpool area were packed with couples and families (including children). Not tranquil at all. It wasn't really a spa feel. Although I recognize pools are generally open to all hotel guests in spas, it would have been nice if the spa was on a separate floor with its own steam room and whirlpool. The waiting area was also not tranquil. Again, the views were amazing, but the snacks were extremely limited and it wasn't quiet. For the price of the services, I was expecting at least the offer of a glass of champagne. My facial was great but I've had the same and better in Manhattan spas for far less. I just thought it may have been worth it to check out the Nelai's amenities, but sadly I didn't get to enjoy them.
