if you have a boring day and don't know where to go, and can't stay at home, come here. There is no limit time (during opening hours), there have food court and drinks, water is free. I ordered Ramen Bugogy Beef, it was delicious . you can take a bath, soak in hot water and take a nap. there are also massage services, I will try in the future. there is a play area for children. And I love here. Just only one thing that the Spa World so far away from my home. 🥹

I have been to spa world igolf twice and both have been very disappointed my first visit i was assigned bay 2 the machine keeps breaking down. My second visit i was assigned to bay 9 but got kicked out by a golf pro and he move me to bay 2 and guess what happened it keeps breaking down. Two things the golf pro wants to teach private lesson he should use the private rooms secondly fix the machines

There are two main reasons I wouldn't recommend this place. Firstly, the simulator is extremely outdated. Even when I deliberately tried to slice or hook the ball, it would still go straight. Secondly, the so-called "instructor" at the facility is incredibly rude. Despite paying for facility use, I'm told which station I can't use while he's there to "tech." This is especially frustrating when he's the only one present. I doubt he even possesses a teaching license, considering his amateurish swing. Moreover, the floor is scorching due to the spa water being heated below. The instructor selfishly occupies the fans to keep his area cool, while other stations are uncomfortably hot.

Awesome place to golf! They have a variety of courses to choose from, and its cheap. Just check in a bracelet at the bar and you’re good to go.

Perfect getaway to relax and recharge! Came with my sister for a girls days and it was the most amazing experience! My favorite room was the Arctic! I love the cold and especially after all the saunas it was such a great feeling!

We spent a whole afternoon here and would definitely do it again! Spa World is clean and spacious with 2 floors of different types of heated and cold rooms to relax your muscles and sweat out toxins. Each gender-separated change room is also compete with additional steam, sauna, hot pools and treatment rooms where you can get amazing add-on services like the 30 minute Korean scrub including full body exfoliation, a face wash and hair wash for $70. There is a cafe on the 1st floor where you can order drinks and Korean shaved ice ("Bing Soo") and a full on restaurant upstairs with noodles, fried chicken, and rice bowls.

We decided to try this place since they had a Groupon special which was probably $15 off of the original price. When we got there, the ladies were not friendly whatsoever. They did not welcome us or greet us but pretty much asked us what we wanted, which was pretty upsetting. We mentioned to the lady at the front that we had a Groupon and she declined to honor the deal we had. The price difference was $15 and I had bought two so total savings was $30. She mentioned we could pay the difference if we wanted to come in and so we did. However, the disrespect and false claim that they accept the Groupon discount already had me upset. We came into the women's locker room and honestly, it was nothing compared to Gangnam Spa, which we actually should've just gone to. They did have a good amount of pools, with a mix of hot and cold pools, however, the sauna and steam rooms we're very small. Probably the capacity of up to five people, which was disappointing. We wanted to book a spa experience, specifically the massage however there was never someone to take our order in the locker room. We usually spend the whole day at the spawn, but we cut it early since it was not what we really expected it to be. They did have some rooms like a forest, relaxation room, a cold room, a hot room with beads on the ground, with all several different benefits, however you could not relax because all the doors literally squeaked as people came in and out. Definitely will try another spa experience as this one definitely failed us.

I learned about this spa from a friend. We purchased a Groupon to be used Monday-Thursday. This was my first time experiencing an all day spa. When you walk in you have to put your shoes in a locker and retrieve the key. They have a women's side and men's side. Take the key to the desk and they'll check you in from there. The key you choose is the locker number once inside the locker rooms. If you pick an odd number key on the women's side those are top lockers and even numbers are bottom lockers fyi. The check in process was easy and they confirm if you purchased any other services such as massage. I purchased the Korean scrub for $115. They give you a wristband with your locker number and key, a uniform, and a small towel after checking in. Once in the women's locker room and pool area it's definitely an adjustment, because everyone is nude. Again, this was my first time at a place like this. The staff were helpful in helping me navigate the process. I highly encourage you to bring a bag of your own toiletries if you don't want to use their complimentary soaps, shampoo, and conditioners. If you prefer a bigger towel to dry off bring one from home. They do have a case filled with forgotten items for purchase e.g. tampons, pads, hair ties, shower caps etc... They do have a complimentary water machine for cups of water. Before you get in pools you MUST take a shower! There are several stations to do so with soap and shampoo provided. Your hair must be tied up in a bun before getting in the pools. There is someone monitoring the areas the entire time to ensure no one is taking photos/recording or engaging in sexual activities in the pool. If you paid for massages and scrubs there are private stations in the pool area where the service takes place. The ladies call your number and the service begins. The Korean scrub was 10/10. The lady took her time and was gentle. FYI all Korean scrubs come with hair washing. If you do not want your hair washed tell them in advance. I didn't know this until I checked out for the day. Once we left the pool area, we dressed in the uniforms provided and tried out the various rooms throughout. Once you leave the gender specific locker rooms/pools, the rooms are coed. Each room had different temperatures and benefits which was very nice and relaxing. Everyone was respectful to ensure silence in the rooms to relax. They even have nap rooms, movie room, Pilates, a gym, golfing, bar, and cafeteria. You can spend all day here. You pay for food/drinks with your wristband. You pay the tab when you checkout for the day. For my first time here, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I felt as though everything was reasonably priced and the customer service was great. I look forward to adding this place to my self care routine as it is very peaceful. I would definitely recommend this place if you need a spa day. * I didn't get any pictures, because I didn't know if I could take pictures of the coed and cafeteria areas. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

My friend and I came here on a Tuesday evening to decompress. We found a Groupon for this location and went for it. This is a rundown for the spa. This is a Korean spa . When you first come to check in or buy tickets, you need to take off your shoes. Then you need to go to the locker room to change into their uniform and get two small towels. They'll give you a bracelet for scanning for any food or drinks that you buy while you're there . Their locker is like a high school size locker so you could put a backpack and a big bag in there. You're not allowed to use your phones in the locker room for privacy. And they do enforce that which I'm really glad about. (I had an emergency call and I forgot that rule and they called me out on that.) When you're in the locker room, I like to go take a quick shower in their baths rooms. In this section, you have to be fully nude. Like I am not kidding. Anyways, in this area, you can pay for an appointment have a body scrub to help exfoliate your skin . You can soak in various different temperature baths and there are two saunas. For showering there's a stand-up version and the sitdown version. They have a set of chairs that are clean and used so make sure you pay attention to those signs. They also have shampoo, conditioner, a soap bar, hair dryer if you want to use theirs. You are welcome to bring your own materials. After you're done with the quick rinse or if you just changing into your uniform , you can go out into the common areas where it is coed. There are a lot of different hot rooms of varying temperatures or texture , restaurants kids area, bar, theater, etc. There's also a lot of of lobby areas if you want to bring out your laptop and just chill. You can take your phone out in the coed areas and carry your phone with you. it's up to you if you want to bring the phone into the hot rooms but they have a small tray outside the hot rooms that you could just leave your phone there . They also have a restaurant and a small dessert café. The food is very mediocre and a little pricey. But I was here for five hours so I was pretty hungry. After I'm done with all the coed area, I go back to the locker and baths room and relax there and take a final shower to end the trip. Check out and pay for whatever I ordered. There's always at least one staff member within eyesight if you ever have any questions or concerned about something . In the locker room they have some small things if you need to buy tampons, face, mask, brush, toothbrush, etc for purchase. This place is good for like a couple or bestie hang out time. ( there is no coed locker rooms.) They do offer parties and large groups but I prefer one on one for quality time. Mind you this place is more focus on heat relaxation . There is one ice room. If you're really prone to heat, you'll probably be hanging out in the ice room or upstairs. Or any of the lobbies.

We had a girls Classmate spa evening. When you walk in, you immediately remove your shoes and put them in a locker. There is an entry fee of $50+. Then you pay for your different service and /or food. The items are added to your bill by scanning this wristband watch that has a number on it. Bring a pair of socks if you don't want to walk barefooted.

I wish I could give stars for Bizarre. I stepped into The Twilight Zone barefoot, was given my uniform, and firmly informed "No Clothes were Allowed!" Gender specific rooms separated naked males and females as they showered and enjoyed steam rooms, dry sauna, warm jacuzzis, and a cold pool. Stern Warning Signs Declared "There will be NO Tolerance for Sexual Behavior!"....ok,ewwww. I made a retreat to my locker and changed into my uniform

Wow -- beautiful and grand is an understatement. This place is massive! So many rooms, saunas, and amenities that I was honestly a little overwhelmed at first (in the best way). Total "everything's bigger in Texas" vibes! I've traveled all over the U.S. and been to many Korean spas (check my reviews ), and this one is definitely up there as one of my faves. Everything felt modern, clean, and super spacious -- from the pools to the relaxation areas. The scrub + massage combo? Delish. So, so good. Now, full transparency -- this isn't the most zen spot if you're craving total silence. When I visited, there were a few people enjoying drinks in the water area (two ladies even told me they were a little drunk, lol). They were sweet, but I was deep in my chill zone, so it threw off the vibe a bit. Just something to know if you're going purely for quiet relaxation. That said, the amenities totally make up for it -- endless options, amazing food, and super friendly staff. It can get busy, but it's absolutely worth it. Would I go back? 100% yes. Next time, I'm clearing my schedule and making a whole day out of it. ‍

I love it here! There is a great room selection. My personal favorite here is the ocher ball room. The golden goddess special is 110000% worth it. Get the Groupon and enjoy a nice day to yourself or with a friend to relax, rejuvenate, and unplug. Wonderful staff and shout out to Wei Li. PS I will say if you get the golden goddess special you don't need to get an additional massage. It's a very comprehensive service and has a little bit of everything. I have been three times now with my partner and we love it. We go at opening and its usually pretty quiet. We leave by early afternoon when it tends to get busy/louder. We use a groupon to get a better deal. I tried the add on milk scrub and it was heavenly. The add on massage was not anything special. This place is huge with two floors and a lot to explore. The nude area is not for everyone, but the pools, sauna, and steam room are very relaxing. You can get basically anything here and spend as long as you want. They have food options in their restaurant area as well as a smaller counter with different snacks/ice cream/bubble tea. We always leave feeling very relaxed after a few hours in Spa World.

Loved the unique concept and relaxing vibe! A bit pricey, including the food, but still worth a visit for the experience.

Spa World Houston is a must-visit for anyone that loves to disconnect, recharge, and unwind! The facility offers services if you're looking for a massage or scrub, but if you're simply looking for a soak and relax, this is the place to be! The space is airy, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is very professional with any questions you may have and there's even a restaurant on site so you can dine in without having to leave! I treated myself to a body scrub & would highly recommend this service! You come out feeling a new sense of rejuvenation from the layers scrubbed off! All-in-all, this is one of my favorite experiences in Houston and I can't wait to go back again!

This was my second time here the first time I waa solo but I enjoyed so much i wanted the Mr to enjoy the experience. Upon arrival you place your shoes in a locker ( no shoes allowed)they are separated by gender. You grab the key and take it to the front desk. At which time they will take the key and assign you the same # locker inside , hand you your spa wear, place a wristband on you which is attached to your account and allows you to purchase food, drinks etc. You then gonto the locker room wear you either change into your spa clothes our stay nudes and take advantage of the 5 pools and 2 saunas they have(not clothes allowed in the pools. You are requires to rinse off prior to getting in. This place is also where you get massages(that have to be booked early or even prior to visit) Once you complete tge pools there's showers shampoo soap etc to was you off and bow you go back to the locker room and get dressed to take advantage of the multiple rooms they have you can relax in with your partner. They also have outside rooftop chill areas a full bar, inside golf movie theater and a very large lounge area with a little menu and diner area.The shrimp was delicious but a little overpriced)Definitely enjoyed all the different healing rooms (they tell you what each room supposed to help you with) Plan to stay a minimum of 4+ hours to take advantage of everything it has to offer you will not be disappointed

This past Friday was my first time here. I was telling my best friend that I needed a massage, and I've been meaning to book one. I also saw that this place did Korean body scrubs and I was sold. I booked the Scrub Plus and my bestie book a 60-minute Swedish massage. Upon entering you have to remove your shoes, place them in a locker, check in and pay the entry fee. I found a coupon on Groupon the night before that allowed me to get in for 37.40 (first win). We were directed to the women's locker room to get undressed and put on the uniforms provided or wrap in a towel. I wrapped in a towel to shower and soak before my body scrub. My therapist was on time and she scrubbed a layer off of me. For an hour she scrubbed be head to toe, covered me in coconut oil, rinsed me numerous times, gave me a massage, washed and finished me off with a warm milk rinse. After may scrub, we walked around and explored the spa. That ride home was hard as a I was so relaxed all I wanted to do was sleep. I will now start to fit this into my self care cycle.

Spa World is truly the perfect place to unwind. The amenities are amazing!! From the variety of saunas and pools to all the relaxing lounge/nap areas, you could easily spend an entire day here just recharging. Everything feels so clean and thoughtfully designed for comfort. I also love that you don't have to leave to eat! The Korean food and snacks inside has variety of delicious options. It's such a nice treat between sauna sessions. A full day here feels like a mini getaway!

I've had a gift card to visit here for over a year and finally made it. We walked in when it opened and we didn't know the process, the front desk ladies just looked at us until we asked the questions. They were nice though. Then they couldn't tell us at that moment if out gift cards would apply because they had to call a number at 10 to verify. That was weird. This is a nice spot. Everything was clean. They had quit a few hot rooms and one cold room. We all got massages. I don't like that the massage ladies stare at the screen while you enter your tip. It is peaceful. Be prepared for the nudity to go in the spa area. I will probably try one more time.

OK with nudity? Want to know how it feels to be a fish that's de-scaled, covered in oil, wrapped in foil, baked and basted with creme fraiche? This was worth every penny. Got the groupon for admission and the scrub & goddess. I can't believe how much dead skin I had. This place is so big we only got to enjoy half before we got too hungry and left. Didn't even realize we could have eaten upstairs at the restaurant. Face is looking pretty smooth!

***A LOT OF UNSANITARY AREAS***** A place of relaxation and comfort for the mind. It is a very noisy place in most areas and completely not what I expected. As you walk in the first thing you are required of is to remove shoes and place in a locker to receive a key (This should be written on the website or emphasized when you call for information. Once you pay for entrance fee (Mon - Thurs $45.00, Sat & Sun $55.00. Then you are greeted by front desk staff. EMILY AND MAKAYLA were absolutely amazing; however, most staff on the inside don't speak ENGLISH. It makes no sense to me honestly. You are than required to obtain an outfit, wristband for purchases and proceed to the spa. This is where you exchange your shoe key for locker room in women's shower area. ( Make sure you don't leave without paying, INTERESTING!!!! ****Right behind the desk is an open area with sofas, television and a photo opportunity with KING style Chairs and half circle ottomans. It is a unique area. ****No one is there to give you further instructions so if you keep walking forward then you are left with trying to find your way or read signs. We were walking and trying to figure it out and then someone greeted us to walk back toward the front to the changing room. The entrance is to the right of the first room which was not relayed. ****We enter changing room and there is a oriental lady sitting behind a case with a cash register. As you walk farther there are about 4 ladies near another case with products to sell (perfume, socks, facial mask, sanitary items, shower caps etc). Of course they will find ways to make more money. Then you have lockers for your personal items that match your armband to make purchases. This area is STRICTLY ENFORCED FOR WOMEN ONLY which is where you change into your SPA outfit to enjoy all of the amenities. DOWNSTAIRS: Sauna rooms, 5 pools starting at 98 degrees , one with jets that is not functioning properly (SOME OF THE JETS DON'T WORK) and one cold pool, two saunas rooms, 5 scrub areas ( YOU MUST SHOWER FIRST, THEY ONLY PROVIDE BAR SOAP WHICH IS SOOOOOO UNSANITARY, BUT THEY HAVE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER IN PUMP GALLOON BOTTLES) HAIR IS NOT ALLOWED IN POOL, MUST PUT IN AN UP DO STYLE OR TIE UP ( SHOULD BE TOLD BEFORE YOU ARRIVE). There are private bathrooms and two private shower areas if you don't like to be in the open. ALL POOL AREAS IN WATER IS TOTALLY NUDE NO EXCEPTION. You are allowed to bring your towel ( $2.00 charge to rent a big towel) Bring your own big towel ( SHOULD BE RELAYED AHEAD OF TIME). Scrub area is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Although I am curious as to how they are cleaned, how often are they changed and how are they stored. You are scrubbed head to toe , front and back and then on each side, then washed on body and face, then you have to leave the area and back in population to rinse off, mind you they have a hose in the designated area which you can be rinsed, ( I ASKED WHY SHE DID NOT RINSE ME AND SHE JUST LAUGHED) then they place coconut oil all over your body with light massaging, then hot towel treatment, then dried off and then warm milk rinse then rinse with hose pipe, then dried off and walked to cashier at the register in locker room to ( GET TIP IF YOU WANT TO GIVE ONE) $110.00 FOR SCRUB PLUS. The negative is you can hear all of the noises from the pool area while receiving your treatments which is so annoying. Instead of having 5 people in the locker room, have an assigned person to make sure everyone is taking a bath with soap, keeping quiet and monitoring no hair in water. Hot dome area also has some sleeping quarters, there are five pillows available to sleep on mats ( NO ONE CLEANS MATS AFTER EACH USE, NO SANITARY WIPES FOR THE MATS) ONLY 5 PILLOWCASES AVAILABLE FOR PILLOWS, WHEN ASKED ABOUT PILLOWCASES I WAS TOLD THERE ARE NO MORE ( SOOOO NASTY) Boba tea, coffee and snack shop, massage area is downstairs UPSTAIRS: Restaurant, bar area, patio ( extremely to hot to walk on with no shoes or socks) television area, (PROJECTOR on a wall) with open seating area. VIP room ( exercise equipment, tv, pool table) and kids zone Everyone is talking and mingling in these areas, unless you sit at bar alone or outside. If you sit in tv area you will hear all of the chatter from the food area. ( ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS). Hey fam! I'm super excited to be back and reviewing some awesome places. Today, I'm reviewing a spa in Houston you're going to want to run towards. Let's jump right into it! Spa World is the next level real deal. It's very serene, relaxing, and clean. If you've never gone, you're in for a treat. When you walk in, you're directed to put your shoes in a locker which will have a key. That key is your assigned number. You'll bring the key to the front desk, check in, and pay. You'll receive loungewear for wearing in the common area and a small towel. Additional towels are in the locker rooms. Listen! This is my third time here, so obviously it's a great place to relax. Anyway, you have the first level where you have the locker rooms for both men and women. Please be advised that the locker rooms are fully nude. If you decide to relax in the pools and baths, you'll have to take a shower first and be completely nude. Respectfully, no phone or recording devices are allowed in that area for obvious reasons, so I'm unable to show the actual inside. However, it is definitely relaxing and clean. Full staff is present and are very helpful. Once you come out the locker room, there is a small cafe and about seven relaxing rooms you can check out on the first level. My favorite rooms on the ground level are the pyramid, followed by the jade room. Also, if you have children, there is a place for them too. Once you navigate upstairs, the magic happens. You have a restaurant, golf simulator, full bar, vip room, a movie room, some additional relaxation rooms and a large lounging area for sleep and relaxation. Make sure to check out the forest room, which is literally a relaxing virtual nature walk that puts me to sleep instantly. Also, make sure to check out the restaurant upstairs. The food is phenomenal, but the pricing is a smidge high for the food. However, it is definitely worth it. You're looking at anywhere from $8 - $22 for menu items. Keep in mind, you'll need your checkin number watch that you will use for your purchases. This keeps track of all additional expenses you incur while in the spa. Once you check out, you'll make the payment for the items on your watch. The services they offer are massages and scrubs. They are fairly priced, but make sure to book a time in advance. This place is popular and the massages can be booked fairly quickly. I REPEAT! Plan in advance if you want to get a massage or body scrub. Also, I highly recommend the scrub/goddess. It's a little pricey, but your body will thank you. The staff are very polite. Don't be afraid to speak and ask questions. They are there to help you. Well, I would love to continue typing more, but it's time for me to relax and get off my phone to enjoy the spa. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

General admission gets you access to the saunas, nude, gender-separated spas, and resting rooms. Food, golf, massages are separate. My favorite room is the forest room. You can lay there and there are sounds and smells of the forest. I also like the ocher clay ball room. So warm and relaxing! The pork bulgogi I got was yummy and comes with side dishes. I wish there were more water stations. You can find water near the food area.

Spa World in Katy offers a high quality, relaxing , and comprehensive spa experience with several saunas, baths, and themed rooms. Spa World is a Korean spa. It is massive with separate facilities for men and women. Upon arrival, the front desk staff instructs you to remove your shoes. You then select a numbered key which will be used in the dressing areas and you are issued a uniform. The locker rooms are gender specific with areas to undress, shower, blow dry your hair, and store your belongings. They also have things for purchase like face masks! The bath areas or bathing pools are accessed by walking through the locker rooms. These areas are also gender specific as you are required to enter the pools nude. There are several different baths all heated at varying levels. There is also a cold bath. Each bath promotes different health benefits. In the main spa area, you have access to several sauna rooms (all heated to different levels and beautifully decorated/themed), a cold room, the forest room, an infrared room, the cafeteria, a snack bar, and an adult bar. Additionally, you can ask for access to the movie room or reserve the karaoke room. The saunas vary in size but will easily accommodate 5-10 people. The clay bead sauna room is a crowd favorite. One can lay in a pool of warm clay beads that contour to the curves of their body and rest easy. Other services can be added to your base experience like a massage or body scrub. I chose to get a Swedish massage. My masseuse was very professional and did a fabulous job making me feel comfortable. She gave several options for pressure and delivered a very thorough massage. The 60 minute massage add in was ~$100 before tip. There were several options for eating. I ordered the shrimp glass noodles which was served fresh. It was a good portion size; I was able to share with a friend. I also ordered a drink downstairs from the snack bar which was very tasty. My experience at Spa World was excellent! Because it was my birthday, they also gave me a free moisturizing face mask. I have been to Spa World again since my first trip, and I plan to return again soon! The value for the price (~$50 for all day access) is incredible.

I've visited Spa World several times, and each experience has been great. It's always super relaxing and clean, which I appreciate. My only wish is that there were more rooms available. There are only about 5 rooms available downstairs and 2 more upstairs with a movie theatre (also with limited seating). This review is specifically based on my experience at the restaurant on the second floor during my most recent visit. I have to say, it was the best dining experience I've had there so far! I ordered the cold noodles and bulgogi yubu, and both dishes were absolutely delicious.

For my birthday I decided a spa day would be the perfect way to celebrate. This was my first Korean-style spa experience and overall I really enjoyed my visit. I ended up spending around 6 hours here. I scheduled a massage and had lunch afterwards. The remainder of my time was spent exploring the various rooms and saunas. Upon entering, you're notified to remove your shoes and pick a locker. The spa is a no shoes facility, so make sure to bring socks!! From there you're issued your wristband, key to larger locker in gender specific areas, and a comfy lounge shirt and short set. Since it was my birthday I was given a free face mask. One of the workers gave me a quick tour and after that I was off to enjoy my day. Everyone was extremely helpful and the environment was calming and comfortable. Make sure to read all signs posted. There are no phone allowed areas and quiet areas, so be mindful. Food....honestly I wasn't too impressed with my bulgogi bowl. It was okay, but definitely overpriced. I wouldn't get it again. I did like the fact they have water fountains around the facility so you can keep your water bottles filled. Massage....amazing! I received the Swedish massage and I enjoyed. The Himalayan salt room, Yellow Ocher Clay Ball room, and Jade room were my favorites! I would definitely visit again.

Facility: all of the rooms in co-ed area were good. I like it. The wet area (gender separated) is a big disappointment. The water in 1 of the pools is completely green? Yuck. They forgot to clean it or what? I found hair in every single pool. Eww. The wet sauna was smelly. I did a deluxe scrub (80 mins, $140) and the technician finished within 75 mins. I just found minor scratches on my legs now. I hope at least they dispose the gloves after each customer? Food: the bibimpap was good but the cold noodle was a huge let down. I love Jimjilbang in general but I'm not sure I'll be back at this location.

Can we just talk about how beautiful this spa is? The employees are very professional the food is delicious the atmosphere the vibe everything is top-notch. I absolutely love going here when I visit Houston. It's truly a must.

I love a Korean spa but will be going to others instead Arrival: Maybe we were unlucky but today there were several large parties coming in at the same time as us. The entry area is quite small and everything seemed to be pretty chaotic and confused (not how we expected to start a spa day). There are lockers here for your shoes, but then you have to walk back across the entryway barefoot (where everyone walked in their shoes) to checkin. There are no shoes or socks provided but you can buy socks in the women's locker room (and other bathing items). You are given an outfit and 1 towel Locker room / bath The Locker room is as expected. I do wish the lockers had a mirror in them but there's an area to get ready out of the Locker rows. The baths are extremely disappointing. Half of the showers only have scorching hot water that doesn't seem to have a cooler setting. The temp gauges on the tubs and saunas don't seem to all be function. The 98* tub was lukewarm, the 108* was as expected, one tub didn't seem functional at all, the 124* sauna was cool and the cooler steam sauna was extremely hot.... also all the saunas had a gap under the door that let cool air in front the tub area... Shared space: The first floor has several different rooms which was nice, but all the rooms had a gap that let in air from outside. You also could hear every conversation because people don't follow the quiet area signs and have full conversations. I even tried to lay in one of the cubbies but someone jn the next one over was watching videos very loudly. Quiet rules were not enforced anywhere making it difficult to relax. Restaurant The food at the restaurant was pretty satisfying but the seating was very uncomfortable. It also was right next to the golf which was pretty loud as well. People also didn't have shoes/socks here which was unappealing (and I'm so glad I brought my own socks). We did opt for additional massages and I loved the Swedish massage I got. I could still hear all the conversations outside the room though. Overall it was a pricey spa day, and was a gift to my mom for her bday/mother's day and left us leaving not fully satisfied. We won't be back unfortunately

Extremely disappointing experience. Yesterday was my first and last time visiting Spa World Houston. I have been to two other Korean Spa brands. One in LA and one in Houston. Both were so peaceful. Both offered a really relaxing, quiet experience throughout the entire spa. Spa World was at times as loud as a busy airport or mall food court. It was as if the Quiet zone signs were jokes. It was unreal. There is no attempt by staff to keep quiet areas quiet. In the Ocher Ball Pit there was a group of boys (seemingly teens) burying each other in the beads while laughing and talking loud. It was like being at a kid's play land or sports complex. I ventured to the sleep pods and still the noise level was was out of control even with ear pods on. The more I type about this experience the more I think I am going to request a refund. The only quiet place during my visit was the wet rooms . I did like the fact that if you wanted to add a service after checking in you could do so in the locker rooms. I was surprised that they charge for lg towel usage. The locker rooms, unlike other brands I have been to, do not offer benches in front of the lockers so there isn't a place to sit or put anything as you dress and undress which is inconvenient. They also do not offer water dispensers throughout the facility. If you want water you have to purchase a bottle which is not the case with most other brands. At times it felt like Spa World Houston was a discount version of a Korean Day Spa WITHOUT the discounted price tag. The front desk staff was efficient. Not welcoming but not rude. The person at the snack bar at on the first level seemed like she didn't want to be bothered. The staff throughout the rest of the spa was kind and welcoming. I did not receive any addional services. I purchased a general admissions pass. I give the service offerings and facility a B. Overall staff customer service a B minus. Overall Spa Experience a D due to the noise levels. I planned to spend at least 4 hrs there. I left early. It was pointless. I took a friend there so we could unwind and relax after a busy week. This is NOT the place to go and relax in the common areas. Go to Gangham if you are in the Houston area. I wish I had read the yelp reviews before going. The noise levels being an issue at this location seems to be a consistent issue according to Yelpers over the years and has not been rectified. Update in Response To Business: The teens were not minors, they came in unsupervised at the same time I arrived. My guess is that they were in their late teens or early 20s. I didn't encounter any children/minors during my visit. The loud talking and laughing in the Quiet Areas were from adults. Not only the college aged boys in the ball pit loud, others throughout the main floor were very noisy. It seems to be a repeated complaint by Yelpers. Glad to hear it may be addressed by staff. Good to know about the water stations.

Currently writing in spa world and am highly disappointed. From check in I was told they ran out of a certain towel but I decided to let it go to enjoy my experience. To my surprise the entire experience has been unsatisfactory. The NOISE LEVEL IS OUT OF CONTROL. There was not one place in the entire facility where I could have quiet time. It sounded like I was in a high school cafeteria. Upstairs to get food and drink was the same experience. The sound of the golf balls hitting the wall was alarming. I did enjoy the thorough scrub I received but to say it was a relaxing experience would be a lie. Even in the sleep pod I have to constantly ask guests to lower their voices. Staff weren't reinforcing the quiet signs and guest took advantage. I will not be returning here. I've seen what the expectation should be and this did not meet it.

Great place to be yourself, amazing atmosphere. They provided kelochs for breakfast with jalapeño. We got stuck for the evening. But all in all it was a great massage. From London, she said her name was Laonda I hope I am not miss spelling it .

Enjoyed my experience here, they do have many rooms catered to relaxation. I noticed that a lot of the rooms are centered around heat and warm temps so if you're into that you'll like it. I did get a Swedish massage that put me to sleep so I would recommend. Only negative was my interaction in the beginning with front desk they didn't seem as attentive, also the place is pretty popular so there's going to be people there which can add noise but nothing crazy, it's best to go during the week in the morning.

The whole experience is phenomenal even if you don't get add ons. It's just relaxing and calm. You don't feel rushed or overwhelmed. I did not add on any service but it's nice to know you have the option.

This is my 2nd visit to Spa World. Really chill place to come and hang out. They got karaoke rooms, steam rooms, hot rooms, cold rooms, movie room, open terrace, a bar, a restaurant, a mini convenient store... they offer paid massage/exfoliation and other various things. oh oh and a golf area to practice your bad swings away. Really chill, really nice, gotta get used to being completely nude in the gender specific pool areas. Come here when you need an escape the world for a bit. My friend and I spend at least 4 hours here each time we go.

First time at a spa ever. Was here on a Friday afternoon. Once you enter in, you have to put the shoes you walked in with in a small locker. You're given a spa uniform, which is a t-shirt and shorts, with 2 small blue towels. Men are given a different color uniform than the women. I asked for a tour but it ended up just being a brief overview of the place and pointing out a few key spots. The floors were not cold and very clean. Didn't even need my socks. The gender-separated lockers are bigger than the locker in front and you are given a key with a wristbrand to wear throughout your time there. The restrooms, pools, saunas, and showers are also right there. I actually thought the pools were co-ed and would be in a separate area. Like the reviews said, you do have to feel comfortable with being nude and seeing nudity once you enter the locker/shower area. Your hair has to be tied up when you're in the pool and no cameras allowed. Outside of the locker/shower area, there's no need to be nude. I booked a Shiatsu Massage online and didn't realize I had to arrive 20 minutes early. It got pushed back, which was needed. They only have female masseuses. The lady I had was Lucy. Never done a shiatsu massage so I didn't fully know what to expect beyond one Youtube video I watched. All my clothes had to be off. She emphasized that there is no oil involved, but ended up applying a lot of oil when she initially said she will use a little. She also kept asking if I liked a swedish or deep tissue massage. She started off hard but switched to gentler strokes. I felt sore later in the day in certain areas of my body. The oil they use for massages is coconut oil. Was I relaxed? No. But I've never really felt relaxed during a massage except once. Massages are once in a blue moon experiences for me. There are rooms upstairs and downstairs. Both levels have an area to dine. Upstairs has some private rooms and an area with a stage and large TV screen with recliners and long couches. Wifi is available. Saw a few individuals with laptops. I think I tried/looked at every room they had: Ocher Ball Room (145 F, it gets pretty hot) Pyramid Room Jade Room (93 F, salt with heat) Far infrared wave room Forest room (ok) Arctic Room (43 F) Himalayan Salt Room (136 F, it's pretty hot) Fire dome (super hot, feet will burn) Theater room (big screen with recliner chairs; played Adam Sandler movie; they have different streaming services available) Private Golf rooms + open area for golf Downstairs had mats to lie down on and sleep off, cool down, or whatever. For a Friday, it seemed semi-busy later in the afternoon. I would say it wasn't crowded enough because you could find an empty room for a few minutes or a room with 1 or 2 people. Most people came in a group (family or friends) or as a couple. They provide free water with small cups in the lockers and by the restaurant upstairs. You can also bring a water bottle. Overall, it was a nice experience. I have nothing to compare it against.

We travel all the way from Austin to enjoy this spa! The variety of rooms and the services are always amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a day of relaxation.

The parking lot was spacious although one of the ramps to enter the lot is at a steep incline so you'll have to slow down to enter to not scratch the front end of your vehicle. Once inside you'll see small lockers for your shoes. Open a locker with a key, place your shoes inside, then lock the door and remove the key. The key will be handed to the receptionist at the front where you'll pay for general admission, be handed small towels and your uniform. There are separate gender locker rooms. It was very clean throughout the facility. The heated pools were nice, I wished the water levels were like at neck level than barely chest level. The saunas were nice and steamy. The various rooms to relax in (forest, ocha, Himalayan salt, pyramid, and volcano, artic) were all ok. They do have a bar for just beer and wine, virtual golf, a kids area too, and movie rooms. What I really enjoyed was the food. I got a bulgogi bibambap. It came hot and sizzling, had korean chives, carrots, mushroom, zucchini and a fried egg on top. It looked so colorful and was presented so well. I wish I had taken my phone for a photo. It also came with a few side dishes (korean potato salad, pickled mung bean sprouts, kimchi, and pickled daikon and seaweed) it was good. Not too salty, cooked well, the meat was tender. I also ordered a vegetable pancake, it was large as a medium sized pizza. I then came to realize that most of the dishes were meant to share family style and was appreciative that my friend was willing to eat my food. It was an experience, something I've never done. I don't know if the spa life is for me but I can see why people enjoy it.

Absolutely the best spa day - I was gifted a massage and decided to get a body scrub as well! Cant say enough about this place. Staff is Welcoming , place is spotless , services were all amazing. After everything I ordered lunch, the young man there was so nice, and the food??? was also top notch! So much more to do there I will definitely be back

I visited Spa World for my birthday and had a great time. I did go during the week so it wasn't crowded or anything. It was like having the whole spa to myself except a couple of people. I also booked a massage for my stay. It was amazing and I fell asleep lol! I did go to the spa by myself and I will say if I visited again I would bring a friend. It was nice to relax and recharge but I will say it would be better if you had someone to relax with. Like others mentioned you have to be barefoot but I wore my yoga socks to be more comfortable. Especially in the bathroom area. I would say my most favorite areas were the Himalayan salt room and the clay bead area. The food was ok, but if you're spending a whole day there then it works out to just eat there. Parking lot is huge so you don't have to worry about space. Overall I would return here if I'm ever in Katy! Tip- Bring your own items to take a shower. The body wash in the shower wasn't the best for your skin.

Got a deep tissue Aida was so good with her hands, I rested so well!! I went there around 10:30 am and check in was fast and it was peaceful until around 1 pm lot of people started coming. I was next to the dome trying to take a nap and these 3 women next to the pyramid were so loud and disrespectful. Now the spa has signs everywhere asking to be quiet.

Feel awful for not recalling his name but this post is to recognize an employee. He's a short, fit, white guy with a full beard. During a recent visit, A guest disregarded the posted rules about cellphones in the wet area. He noticed this violation while doing a random check of the area and quickly corrected the guest but professionally. Glad to know this facility has professional staff looking out for our privacy.

Plenty of parking and nice Korean Spa right here in HTx. . They offer the services you would expect like massage, reflexology, body scrubs, facials, experience rooms, relaxation areas, food and drink. I like that there is an outside space. The food imo is much better than some other Korean spas in the area. But I that other spa too! Lots of open spaces not overly crowded, at least on the day that I went. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is a Korean spa, so you will be given a uniform and an arm band to keep track of your charges. There are also non-coed spaces in which you will only have a towel. But there are literally women of all ages and cultures; the atmosphere is relaxing and non-judgmental. I know it's scary at first, but it's actually cool to be in an environment where women aren't judgy and all in the same boat so to speak. You just have to experience it to understand what I mean. If you've never had a Korean scrub, it's a must do! It's an intense goal oriented scrub that will take years off your skin's age and leave you glowing!#koreanskincare #itworks #koreanspa I definitely recommend and will be returning! ‍

May 17, 2023 Used a Groupon (thank goodness) because several things were not working and/or not at the correct temperature for example: TWO of the wet hot saunas were NOT hot, the dry hot sauna NOT hot, and the really hot igloo clay hut looking thing was way too hot to the feet. So, I dunno what was up on this particular evening but, I won't be returning

This was our first Korean Spa experience and since then we have been hooked. After a week at the beach, it was a great refresh! The spa rooms are nice, the food is delicious and the service was great.

Visited Spa World last month with my friends. We had a grand time. I wish we planned to spend more time here than we originally planned. I really enjoyed the various rooms, specifically the clay ball pit room. This was a great way to relax with friends! I booked a scrub plus and I felt like a baby afterwards. Seriously - the ajumma scrubbed my entire body. She did not miss any spots!! My only gripe with this spot is that you have to pay for admission on top of the service you book... you'd think that admission is included with the service, but it's not. (At other spas, it is included with the service.) Tips -Prebook your service -Bring a towel (or you can pay $2 for a rental - they only have small towels otherwise) -Prepare to spend hourssss here! -Relax :)

Alright everyone here's the deal. I went to this location on Saturday June 28 in search of a serene spa experience. From the second I walked into the lobby, this was not that. The lobby was so loud that the ladies at the registers had to ask a group of guys to lower their volume. If only those ladies could've enforced the quiet zones throughout the rest of the building... Noise could be heard in every space, wet and dry. I tried to enjoy some quiet time in the cold pool - I couldn't because there was a large group of teenaged boys basically turning the wet area nto their personal water park. I tried to enjoy peace and quiet in the jade room but couldn't - a staff member (!) was loudly holding a conversation with a guest right outside the room in a zone clearly marked "Quiet." I tried to go into one of the personal pods, but there was a girl giving her friend a virtual tour via Facetime! I am so disappointed because the building really is beautiful. There just needs to be staff ENFORCING THE RULES. There was literally not a single area that was devoid of noise. Unbelievable. If you are into spas where you can run around and talk to your friends and take selfies and do tik toks in the meditation rooms, this place is for you. If you want a real korean spa experience, please avoid this place at all costs. If a manger is reading this can I have my money back??

Service: 5 Food: 5 Overall experience: 5 I recommend coming early, bringing your own towel, a good book and checking Groupon before coming. The full nudity is optional if you plan to get in any of the baths/pools. I felt completely safe with wearing the clothing provided, Using the towels provided, and the device free zones. I enjoyed my stone massage and trying authentic Korean cuisine.

Really neat place and concept. You get to enjoy saunas at different temperatures, cold rooms, and pools with your entry pass. However anything else like golfing, cafeteria, karaoke, massages, and movie room is an extra fee. I spent a good 5 hours with my friends exploring all the rooms that are included with entry, and we ate lunch in the cafeteria. The Korean food is very solid, I think we all enjoyed it. The cold noodles and black bean noodles were excellent. The fried chicken was okay, but for $23 for 4 pieces of chicken I don't think it was very worth it. Overall I would come back and maybe attempt to get a massage or scrub done.

I really want to keep loving this place. It used to be such a respite, but lately too many loud conversations and people having speakerphone conversations or listening to videos, especially in the sleeping cubby areas. It ruins the whole vibe. Maybe stern reminders at check in and people who walk around REGULARLY to gently ask for quiet. It used to be like that when you first opened. It set the tone and people seemed to respect it. Otherwise your staff is always great and helpful and the services wonderful.

I think a day alone in this place a a must for busy people who get "peopled" out! I had one hell of a week where most of my days were 10-14 hours. My entire body hurt and my brain was even sore. I went by myself and stayed from 2:30-10:00 pm. It was AHHHHHMAZING! I hit every area in the bath and sauna area. Everything is SO clean and the vibe of the place just puts you at ease. The saunas were so relaxing. I got the 110 min massage and it was a little too much pressure but I did ask for a lot of pressure so I'll ask for medium next time. The food is fantastic, flavorful and plenty. The outside terrace was perfect to digest slowly while reading a book. I got to nap in the private napping rooms, the theater and the forest room. I would have slept over if I could. I slept like a baby that night I was so relaxed. A gift card to this place is all I need as a gift ever. Thank you guys for keeping the place clean and a great place to come. **(not about the venue)The ONLY bad experience was when I was napping in the theater a guy was in there too and got on his phone on speaker and was speaking so loudly with no regard for me at all. He was extremely rude and would not stop even though the place is clearly a "quiet zone". I wish there was a warning to people like this who don't care about others.

This place is well known by most, but this was my first visit. It certainly seemed popular with many visitors coming in and out when I came on a Saturday afternoon with my 2 friends. You walk in the entrance and are given a key for a locker for your shoes. After you put your shoes away, then you check in at the front. And sign a detailed waiver that you rescind all liability to the business as a whole, and will be fined if you destroy property, and you may be asked to leave at any time and must leave. I was thinking to myself, what has happened in the past as to why this is needed for a spa? I used a Groupon for the $49 entry fee. Then I thought I bought a Groupon for the massage, but it turns out they don't have Groupon for massages. It was for a different place. Awe, man! Perhaps I came in with the incorrect expectations. But I did not leave more relaxed than when I entered. It was more of a sensory center. We didn't get a tour, so we just tried to figure it out as we went along. There were several hot rooms and 1 cold room that you could stay in, for relaxation. And you just sort of stay in each room for as little or as long as you want, and try to zen out. Some people were sleeping in one room, like adult nap time. Some of the rooms were occupied, and some had space for multi groups. We tried to hit up each place, the salt room, the gold room, the fire dome, etc. I will say it's a great place to lounge around for a while, but you can do that at other spas as well. I noted in reviews that people come to work on their laptops here, so for some, this may be appealing. The entrance fee seems to just get you access to the many mini rooms, but the real spa items are separate costs. I opted not to get the massage or any other add ons since I had already paid for another place unknowingly. Honestly, I did not get a lot of info at the front desk about how best to go about the experience, so maybe it would have been a better experience if I had more understanding? Not sure. I think some may really love this place, but others may not. I didn't see the appeal to return.
