The customer service here was pretty hostile upon arrival, average exchanges with the entry staff and bartender always had a hint of attitude. I read some previous reviews stating that they will bring out a birthday cake if requested, so I bought a cake and made the request; the host could have simply declined but he was extremely passive aggressive in doing so for some reason. I ended up plating the cake myself in the room, which is fine.
We had to wait for our room to open and was directed to the bar. I got a drink and asked how much it was, in which the bar tender, Hanna, still didn’t tell me after serving it and instead asked if I wanted to close my tab. Once closing my tab, she charged my card for the drink AND karaoke room package. The small, watered down, drink was $19, and not until after charging me did she say gratuity for everything was already included. I’m not one to complain about automatic gratuity, but an $80 tip for some of the rudest customer service BEFORE we had even begun is asinine.
The karaoke room was fun, but the entry service left a bad taste in my mouth. Additionally, we were asked if we wanted to extend our time, but were told we would have to purchase one drink per person. This didn’t make sense considering we bought the drink package and still had a considerable amount of our drinks left. I would not recommend this place due to the service, and if you do decide to go, make sure you have a large group. The price tag is hefty, especially with taxes and automatic gratuity included.
