Arrive 6:30pm, give us good view near window. Food is delicious, we drink maybe 15 glass of cocktail. Price a little high but worth to try.

The restaurant has such a great sophisticated look and feel, but for a restaurant listed as a Michelin star restaurant, the experience left too much room for criticism. We had the steak tartare for starters, it was on point with delicate and delicious seasoning, We also ordered the Dry aged New York Steak, it was one of the most boring steaks I remember eating in a while, lacking flavor and tenderness. My wife ordered the short rib, her experience wasn’t any different, their Fries and wild mushrooms were on point. With the exception of one staff member that did not seem to be having a good day, the remainder of the staff was kind and helpful.

We just left Spago Istanbul… Unfortunately, neither the food nor the service were convincing. Starter Pizza Spago was completely cold, that's not how it should be, we've been to 2 other Spago restaurants it's not served completely cold there. One of the other main courses were also not at the right temperature (2 people). Taste was very good! The biggest weakness was the service. The waiters in the vests didn't really know what they were doing. A few minutes after handing us the menu, we were simply asked what we wanted to order. Then the menus were snatched out of our hands without any advice. Like in a diner. They didn’t ask if we wanted anything to drink… No recommendations on drinks or food in general. While people were still eating, dishes were cleared away or cutlery for the main course was placed over the plate of the person still eating. Its hard to explain, it just wasn’t a really premium feel. The gentleman who escorted us to our table was very friendly, the other waiters were not really. But they obviously couldn't speak much English either. The tables with locals were better served. In the end we also were not asked how we liked it or whatsoever. The bar is unfortunately very high, Spago is in the St. Regis Hotel, they advertise with Michelin. This expectation is not fulfilled. All in all it was not a Spago experience compared to the other Spago restaurants we’ve been to.

Our family ate here while staying at the St. Regis Hotel. Service was thoughtful and attentive, with one major exception. We had a tasting menu that started with nice appetizers ( tuna cone, beef lettuce cup, falafel) but menu lost steam with signature truffle pasta dish which was not well seasoned or cooked and main course ( short rib) that was not so tasty and overcooked. Worst, while the restaurant was full of cigarette smokers ( which we understand and have no issues with in Türkiye), the women directly behind us was chain smoking a pungent cigar the entire dinner and blowing smoke directly in my kids and I. Our clothes reek, we lost our appetites and all that happened was the restaurant apologized and opened a window in front of us ( not the smoker) so the smoke just went to us more .... not what we expected for a 10,000 TRY dinner to finish our trip.... we had a much better tasting menu down the street at a Modern Turkish place named the Bono the night before...the reviews for this place are spot on...

Spago offers a diverse array of options, from traditional kebabs to pasta and a variety of meats. The food was very good, showcasing the rich flavors and fresh ingredients typical of Turkish cooking. I decided to try their pasta, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was flavorful, striking a wonderful balance between traditional and modern tastes. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with friendly staff who provided attentive service throughout the meal. Highly recommended for a satisfying and diverse dining experience!

Beef and lamb gyoza - 2nd best dish of the night! I actually really liked it but I didn’t think the beet accompanied it well. Tuna tartare- as a big fan of tuna tartare, this wasn’t the best I had. However, again as a big fan of tuna tartare, it was delicious! Chestnut agnolotti - the aromas were amazing, my fav dish of the night! The cheese and the chestnut complemented each other really well. Almond roasted salmon- the roasted almond was dry, as almond is, but since the salmon wasn’t super juicy either, the overall feeling in your mouth was that the dish was DRY. The mashed potato underneath the salmon didn’t help the case either. However, I liked the balsamic and the almond combination. The cocktails- we tried the rum one and the forbidden kiss. They were both unique and flavourful. The service was bad. I feel like in a restaurant like this one it should be better.

Staff, food, customer service and care was perfectly aligned with the offering as Michelin Star and by its own name of renowned chef, Wolfgang Puck. Above and beyond care by the staff. Sushis were out of the world. Complimentary small hummus pucks were a delight once hit the taste buds. All drinks and cocktails were carefully designed with adequate balanced ingredients. Tomahawk, ribs and brisket were perfectly cooked at requested temperatures. Lastly, deserts were the great compliments to conclude the amazing gastronomic experience. Not to forget, sunset at St.Regis rooftop was breathtaking to capture a memory behind Bosphorus river. Great 360 view of both Asian and European side.

My favorite world cuisine restaurant in the city. The attention to detail in every meal is exquisite, and many of the meals I had were the bext examples of their kind that I ever had; such as the falafels, the sashimi and the calf cheek. The waiters also manage to be super attentive without overbearing. These are bolstered by what I think is one of the best views of the area.

Genuinely as terrible a fine dining experience as we had while in Istanbul. Hostess could not locate our reservation, but when we provided email confirmations, she said "oh you did it online, I can help you anyway". Like this was a completely foreign concept. Then was asked "are you a guest at the hotel?" When we answered no, we were advised "there is a smart casual dress code, but I can help you anyway". Wife was wearing a floor length dress and I had on slacks and a button down shirt. Other tables were wearing ripped jeans and floral shorts. Table staff was no better. Still water being poured included being spilled on the tablecloth. First interaction with waiter was "do you know watcha want?" Burrata appetizer was plopped on our table without comment. Food was average at best. Steak was not available cooked to order, only available medium well. Shared side dish of Mac and cheese was a soupy mess. Both cocktails and still water went un-refilled for 20+ minutes. Paying of the bill included multiple receipts being dropped all over the table. View was certainly nice, but there are literally hundreds of restaurants in the city with equal or better views. It's somewhat incredible that this location is considered in the Michelin guide, even if it hasn't earned a star. This dining experience genuinely detracted from the Wolfgang Puck brand for me, and it would take real consideration to return to one again.

Food was amazing. I had jumbo shrimp as main course and mac and cheese as sider and both of them were really fine. Service is good and people are very friendly. The place turns into a bar later on.

Compared to the flagship Beverly Hills version, this place would get 3 stars. However, as a nice rooftop restaurant in Istanbul, it deserves 4. Their location at the top of St. Regis hotel provides a great view and an enjoyable atmosphere. As for the food, we ordered the agnolotti, mac&cheese, filet mignon, and shrimp. Except for the filet mignon (which was a bit dry) rest of our food tasted great. Although I enjoyed the food, the servers come off a bit snobbish in the beginning. Our's tried explaining what a mac&cheese was. Who the hell would not know that?

We stayed at the St Regis just so we could dine here. The food, ambiance was just as we expected BUT the hotel staff stole all my lingerie! We left Istanbul after management laughed in my face when we reported it. Spagos was the only good thing that came out of our trip, just don't stay were they are housed. Reported this to Wolfgang Puck after I was informed that he hadn't been there personally in 9 months!

Nice fine dining restaurant with a nice rooftop. Mac&cheese is a must have. Recommended for a special occasion.

Another very nice top restaurant. In a chic neighbourhood of Istanbul, Spago is located at the 7th and last floor of the hotel St Regis, a brand new 5 stars. The whole decoration is really luxury, and the first surprise stands in the opportunity to admire a genuine Bottero painting just near lifts that will bring you up to the restaurant. When you exit the lift you will face the huge and transparent wine cellar with premium bottles such as Chateau Petrus !! Then you join your table either outside on the roof top or inside with a 270 degrees view. Already a great experience ! The menu propose various and creative dishes, let's say that you dive into fusion food with some Italian inspirations. Evry dish is really perfect : fresh product, perfect cooking, great accomodation, and nice presentation. We had scallop carpaccio, red tuna in cornetto, giant prawns, gnocchi alla bolognese, red mullet, Beef T bones, homemade sorbet, chocolate soufflé, ... and so on. Everything was perfect with nive service and very good lounge jazzy music. For sure you should go there if you want to enjoy a refined and unforgettable moment

Go for the Sunday brunch. It is a 3 hour life changing experience. 185TR...195 with glass of sparkling wine.
