Best Gay Bars in Washington, D.C. According to Eater Editors | Eater DC
"The first nonalcoholic LGBTQ bar in D.C., Spark Social House is a third place for the D.C. community. It’s also an events space and coffeehouse with a back garden, cold brews, and plenty of kombucha and mocktails on tap. Spark hosts plenty of creative and inclusive events like art shows and nonalcoholic after-hours. View its World Pride events online." - Evan Caplan
Was lucky to be there on opening day! The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable—with cute details all over the space! And don’t even get me started on the gorgeous patio!
There are plenty of outlets all over, so it is ideal to go work and focus, while also running into friends and enjoying a delicious drink.
Cannot wait to be back!

Visiting DC & was trying to find a nice chill place to meet up with friends. We ended up at Spark Social House. The atmosphere was cute and cozy. The drinks were delicious and healthy. The service was also great. The owner Nick was very friendly and helpful. My friend dropped his wallet and Nick found his information to return the wallet. I highly recommend if you are trying to find a hidden gem in DC!

Excellent local spot for work from home. Had a delicious juice served by Brandon, who provided friendly service, and enjoyed working from home on the outdoor patio. Tiegan and Erika were equally welcoming and helpful <3

Had the best time at this place this week. As a non-sober person and cocktail lover, this place was honestly so much fun and the drinks available were incredible. The space itself is beautiful and has lots of little nooks and areas depending on what you’re looking for. The upstairs feels like being in your fancy friends sitting room. The downstairs is like any other cool cocktail bar and the back patio is lovely! The bartenders are super warm and friendly and helped me pick out what I was in the mood for. Will definitely be back try to the coffee and chill with some friends.

This place is adorable and a perfect spot to meet friends for a chat, go on a first date, or make new friends. They’ve got a variety of drinks—all nonalcoholic, that they serve all day long. Lost Sock (a local DC roastery) provides the coffee! This places is charming, cozy, and queer!

This is the best new place in town and the perfect vibe for any meetup: post-work, a date, casual catch up, a coffee break, reason to hang out with friends and not worry about a hang over the next day. Staff is excellent, knows their stuff and I just can’t wait to be back and to share this great find with everyone I know 🌈

Really excited that this exists! Fun drink options, comfortable furniture, good music (but not too loud which I appreciate), and nice lighting and colors. Also really love that even their water glasses are reusable glass from a sustainability and health perspective (too many places go single-use plastic). Will be back!

This is exactly what DC needed. Cute, welcoming, and a great spot to chill, chat, or get some work done. The nitro cold brew with oat milk was smooth as hell, and the heated back patio makes it easy to hang outside

Yelp
Love that there's a new coffee place on 14th! Spontaneously stopped in on our way home one evening and shared a latte. The drink was great- not super sweet but still good. Great friendly service and I feel like it would also be a great spot to get some work done in. Excited to come back again!
