Speakeasy hosted an event I assisted in putting on for the LGBTQ+ community. The bartenders/staff/owners were all very welcoming, helpful and awesome. A great place to have an awesome night with music and entertainment.

I had an amazing time the bartenders were so quick and friendly. The owner make sure everyone was having a good time and taking care of. The theme of a speakeasy was so refreshing and on point

A divey local bar in the best possible way. It has lots of character, in a 100 year old storefront in the center of Carrboro. If you have friends visiting from bland suburban lands, take them here for character. The drinks are great, the pours are generous. No kitchen and no food

Def not a traditional speakeasy by any stretch. The vibes are pretty good and the specials are ridiculous. If you're a local or out of towner with a group of friends looking to cut loose this is the spot to do it. You'll want to come on Monday when the best specials are on. There was karaoke going on amd the person who leads it does a great job. However there is no cocktail menu, the do not use fresh juice and there are no in-house made bitters or Syrups This is def not a craft bar and not really enough of a spirits selection to call it a "speakeasy: but the atmosphere was good and the have a decent selection of gin. Def a beer and a shot or shooter type spot. The vibe certainly incurages the consumption of copious amounts of alcohol. Recomend this for anyone not looking for an authentic speakeasy experience. They did have some food laid out for Thanksgiving which is cool.

Went on Tuesday. Enjoyed a cold draught beer and listened to an awesome banjo band. I plan to make this a regular stop.

Great place to hang out and enjoy your sandwich from Neils Deli. You can have a lunch beer if you like. Cool Carrboro vibe. Check it out.

Yelp
Grabbed a couple of drinks here recently and enjoyed myself. They have regular live music events but we came earlier in the day so they just had some music playing over the speakers, which was fine with me :) Pretty good playlist! The bartender was great and helped my wife pick out a good cocktail for her preferences. The draft beer selection was pretty decent as well. I liked the dim, intimate lighting and they had a couple of pool tables for entertainment. There's also plenty of parking nearby - for example, the new library parking deck is basically right next door. Overall, I'd definitely come back here!
