It was early as I was purchasing a B-day gift but staff was very friendly. Offered to help me and was a fast check out.

Gary is the best. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and always takes the time to show you all of your options for whatever you’re looking for. There are some people who are so good at their jobs that it makes you appreciate that people like them exist and Gary is one such person.

The manager of the Sachse Location is very rude. I regret all the years I have been shopping there. I will never step foot there again, and I will not recommend anyone to buy from this location never ever.

Would not recommend!!! We went in looking for a specific kind of drink and it showed in stock on their website for this location. We were dismissed and rudely told it was not in stock. They didn’t even bother looking or checking. Customers service is a 0!

Oh man plenty to get. They got every kind of liquors with a very reasonable price and sometimes at a very lower price.(when they have discount programs)

I like coming to this Spec's , it's closest to my home and the staff here is friendly and helpful. The selection of wines and spirits are great. I especially like looking at the different holiday gift sets. The ambiance. There are aisles and aisles of a variety of wines, beers, mixers and spirits to choose from. They even sell sodas.

Hubbers, Mommers and I were visiting a college friend for a few days and asked him not to pre-buy any drinks. (I felt putting it on us is the least we can do since he's providing us with free accommodations and all. He suggested we hit this place since it will most likely have whatever libation we preferred. Parking was incredibly easy - since it was aplenty. We walked in and the first I noticed is how clean and organized everything is. Hubbers and my college buddy went off to do their thing. I went straight to the beer section to find my choice (being a beer girl and all) and I was done in no time. Hubber had a few questions for the staff and they were quick to respond. They know their stuff! And cherry on top: they were helpful and friendly. We liked it so much, we came back for a 2nd time before bouncin' to our next destination. Definitely a must stop for next time. (Because there will be one!)

Super helpful & knowledgeable! Always ready to lend a hand when you walk in. It's nice to don't have to look around for help.

Great options are available at reasonable prices. The service was excellent. I was walking around and the employees were readily available to assist

They have large selections of fine wine worth to visit. They have an older guy clerk who knows everything.

The management team must be a collection of deep fried pastries. The audio quality is the most miniscule things to be addresses, and yet while offering my insured/20+yrs of experience services free of charged, one person who seemingly breathes through his mouth for obvious reasons, my offer was rebuffed. Between the gluttony of boxes on the floor, poorly stocked shelves, and ineptitude of keeping them stocked. One out of dozens of visits I have had one employee actually help me (while not working the register, these folks are generally okay). Floor staff either doesn't care about their job. or know you don't seem to care. Between Goody goody and small businesses, your pricing can't protect you from staffing issues like this. As a small business owner I would excise this store manager POST HASTE, and never look. They are cancerous. Clean House and make it what it should be.

Honestly, the store in Sachse is like a gas station without pumps. Nasty. I can deal with that but the help there is borderline Walmart.

Service was horrible. Older lady at the front very rude. Will not be returning, fix the floor layout instead of yelling at customers for accidentally standing in the wrong place.

5/11/23: I went to my regular location and chatted with Kevin, since I met him when this location opened. Been shopping mostly at this location since it opened. I also chatted with Alma. When I got ready to check out, I asked Alma which cashier was open, and she pointed me out to where Bishop was. He was on his phone, and as soon as I put my basket on the counter, he started being rude for no reason. Alma was next to Justin, at the other check out counter, and I moved my basket over there. I told Alma that Bishop was being rude for no reason. She looked at him and said, "You see". That led me to believe that there had been other instances in which Bishop had been rude to customers. If he has an issue with a customer facing job, then maybe he should be working in a different area where he doesn't interface with customers while representing Specs. Justin took care of me, but this was a terrible experience for no reason. I believe that customers do not come to Specs to have a bad experience.

Based on my experience when I came in, it was worth 5 stars! Went and got many bottles of wine. I had called before I came and talked to the wine guy, online it showed they had 4 bottles of what I was looking for. He went and looked and said he didn't see the 4, but he took my number and name and said he was going to go look and would give me a call back within 15 min. Sure enough he called me back and found all 4 bottles. I came in and he greeted me and was so nice. He gave me my bottles and we talked a little about wine. This guy knows what he is talking about. I would recommend this located to get wine. They have a great and wide selection. Thanks!! Will definitely be back, no issues, no rudeness and no negativity. All positive here and nice!

Came in shopping for beers and Candace was amazing and had a wrath of knowledge. Would recommend

vibe is chill except they got white boy from polar express mumbling all mysteriously and whatnot. then dollar general eminem gets mad when you don't understand what he's saying! other than that the organization of the store is great and there's good selection. sometimes i wonder if i'm an alcoholic. my grandpa was. he's dead.

I am just blown away by the level of customer service of this Spec's, especially by Candice. I've been in the service industry for over 16 years and that woman knows hospitality. My sister was buying a keg for her husband for Christmas and asked me, the bartender in the family, to help. I called around so many places, including other spec's, and didn't get any help until I had the fortune to have Candice answer the phone. She sourced the specific keg I needed, held it for us for over 3 weeks, answered both mine and my sister's questions, and made sure my sister had help getting the keg in her car. Throughout the whole process, she was just so kind and enthusiastic about her job. That woman is a legitimate treasure. If I didn't live in Austin, that would be my go to place for all of my liquor and beer needs, but I do know that is definitely now my sister's. Thank you so much, Candice. Store is well stocked, and prices are good, but the lacks in customre service. The employees are rude, specially at the cashier. They should respect the customers.

I have been a customer at this location since it has opened. They always provide good customer service and always have in stock what I want. But today, they went above and beyond. I am a walking billboard for disastrous situations. I picked the coldest day so far in Sachse to lock my keys in my car with the engine running. The cashier who checked me out was courteous as all of their staff are. Once I discovered I locked my keys in my car, I returned to the store, explained my situation to him and without hesitation he graciously lent me his cell phone so I could call a locksmith. I am a twice a week shopper at this establishment and I return each time based on the level of customer service I experience. I wish I had gotten his name but I think I overhead he was in the Navy at one time. And for his service I thank him and for the excellent customer service he provided me, I thank him again. Kudos to you brother. I hope this review finds its way to you.

Was there today with my daughter and we were on a quest to find the beer with the greatest alcohol content. I asked Candice about it and she took it up as a personal goal, helping us look and even doing Internet research! I go to this Spec's specifically because they have always been helpful, and this was the best experience yet.

I have been coming here since the store opened as they are the closest Spec's to my location. The product and selection is always good and at first the people were great too, but over this past year I have had the misfortune to witness management publicity be across the line abusive to the employees. To the point it makes the customers uncomfortable!!! Today I put my items back and walked out! And I won't be back!! It has gotten to where I feel sorry for the non management employees here almost every single time I step into the store! "I just saw a manager reprimand an employee for wanting to finish her lunch break" Obviously the people working here are afraid to speak out. But there is no reason for me to continue to be made uncomfortable at a place I choose to do business with! It will be worth the drive to go where the management is either held accountable or are simply better people!

Guys, the guy Sam who works here KNOWS HIS STUFF!!! When I go in here, I'm welcomed everytime and have had great experiences. If you ever have a question about liquor, be it budget or whatnot, trust Sam.
