Vegan smash burgers, crunchwraps, shakes, and coffee drinks.

"A vegan comfort food and beverage cart from the original Lil’ America roster, it was among those asked to leave and its owners, Dahlia Hanson and Joseph Miller, say the promised mentorship component never materialized on a regular basis. The cart will likely relocate with Hawker Station to a new pod in Southeast Portland." - Katherine Chew Hamilton

"Speed-o Cappuccino — the electric pink, sex worker-owned, vegan bikini barista cart at the Lil’ America pod — specializes in cold brew, smash burgers, and oat milkshakes. Smashed to a crisp patty larger than the bun, the Beyond burgers arrive loaded with grilled onions and dripping with sauce. The cart’s corn dogs and berry tamales make great snacks, while the flirty staff offer fun vibes. If a tiramisu latte or peanut butter chocolate shake isn’t quite what you had in mind for washing down your burger, grab a pint or cocktail from Fracture Brewing instead." - Anastasia Sloan

"After the freeze, Speed-o Cappuccino, the coffee cart in the Lil’ America pod, lost its espresso machine and launched an Instagram fundraising campaign seeking CashApp donations in exchange for free drinks because, as the post put it, "Our espresso machine is the heartbeat of our business." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden

"Located in Southeast Portland’s Lil’ America pod, this queer, sex worker owned food cart is a one-stop-shop for vegan comfort foods, cold brew milkshakes, and flirty vibes. Clad in hot pink jerseys and fishnet crop tops, the staff knocks out vegan smashburgers, crunchwraps, corndogs, and tater tots. Rinse down your meal with a beer or cocktail from Fracture Brewing, and don’t forget to save room for dessert. Speed-o Cappuccino also offers sweet treats, including blackberry tamales, tiramisu milkshakes, and chocolate-dipped frozen bananas." - Waz Wu

"At the Lil' America pod I found Speed-o Cappuccino, a bikini-barista–style vegan cart that leans into “vegan stoner foods” — smash burgers with grilled onions, fried snacks, tamales, cashew mac-and-cheese with rosemary breadcrumbs — plus a lineup of oat milkshakes (strawberry, coffee chocolate and the peanut-butter-chocolate “Exploring Mars”) and coffee from Tostado Coffee Roasters, which sources beans from Chiapas and Oaxaca. Owner Dahlia Hanson opened the cart in early February after two years of moving around the city; she built the business out of a background as a dancer who was once houseless, deliberately hires fellow sex workers and dancers, and says she was surprised by how accepting and kind people have been and that this location feels like home. I noticed the cart leans heavily on the experience — loud, bubbly employees in booty shorts as part of the bikini-barista shtick — and offers standout items like fruit tamales with a house-made icing reminiscent of a Toaster Strudel; it also provides free delivery to Portland strip clubs and is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
