We always have good experience with this place. Staff is friendly, food is good and they have a decent outdoor dining area. After your order at the counter, the food comes out fairly fast. They have many choices for their soft taco (beef, 2 kinds of pork, chicken, shrimp, beef tongue, fish). All is good except chicken is a bit dry though. Their beef burrito is very good too. Whenever I feel like taco, we'd like to come and support local business.

They're not kidding about the Speedy part. Even though there were a lot of people when I got there, and a big group had just ordered before me. I got my order within 3 minutes of sitting down. I got two tacos (al pastor, lengua), and the tamales. Not the best I've had, but pretty good. They also have a good selection of local beer on tap, which goes well with the food. Make sure to ask for the hot sauce.

Came down from Sacramento for Metallica and was craving some authentic Mexican food. This spot came right up and was worth the short drive. We split a fish burrito that was fresh and flavorful. ( not pictured because we ate it soo fast) Also shared their house special Enjitomatadas it's like a enchilada thing but better. Service was friendly and food served "Speedy" lol. 5 star come see these guys!

Google
Speedy’s Tacos was speedy, tasty, authentic, and well priced. I loved the chicken tacquitos I ordered! So crispy, not oily, tender pulled chicken, and lots of flavor! My carne asada street taco was also very tasty. The pulled pork tacos are up there for my partner, too. But the Chicken Burrito was HUGE and he loves that. Their kitchen was really pushing out the orders quickly, and presented them well! Love going here and will definitely recommend it.

Google
Very good food and service. The hot sauce was just right! Ordered too much for 3 people. Local beer was good. 7 taquitos, 3 chicken tacos, 3 al pastor tacos. Could have done with less taquitos and more tacos!

Google
Rarely do you find a restaurant with excellent service and food. Speedy is both. Fantastic service and out of the world food. We ordered the potato cheese taquitas. Jasmin is so sweet! You get treated like family here with yumm food + reasonable prices. Won’t regret.

Google
Food was delicious. Nothing revolutionary or extraordinary, just really solidly good food for a reasonable price. Service was friendly and the wait for food was reasonable. Place was clean inside and out.

Best tacos in bay area! Do try their spicy orange sauce with the taco.

Yelp
Very friendly service. Busy taqueria. Casual ambiance where you order at the counter with a menu board located overhead. They have soft tacos, tortas, burritos, taquitos, among other common Mexican dishes. There's patio dining if you prefer to sit outside as well as indoor tables. The staff is efficient at wiping down the tables between customers as this is a busy place with a big rotation of patrons. I can see why this restaurant is popular given the prices they offer for a tasty and no-frills dining experience. Very reasonable prices for a simple and hearty meal. Tacos start at $4 a piece; they offer al pastor, chicken, carne asada, pulled pork, lengua (beef tongue), shrimp or fish soft tacos. I'll keep this place on my restaurant list for cheap eats. Food is good and ordering is quick and convenient.

Yelp
Summary: Stick to the grilled meats Details: Initially drawn in by the high ratings and reviews on Yelp, my group of friends and I left Speedy's somewhat disappointed. None of the food was bad, exactly, but certainly lackluster, especially given how far some of us had driven to eat here. Among the dishes we tried, the taquitos and seafood tacos were rather flat and lacking in flavor, while the grilled meat tacos had enough flavor to be enjoyable, and the pozole had plenty of flavor, but was far too salty. Probably not a bad option for those in the area, with some of the caveats above, but given the abundance of taster taco spots around the Bay, there's little reason for me to come here again. Accessibility: Spacious restaurant with accessible seating and easy maneuverability.

Yelp
Came here with a party of 7 and had a blast. Food is adequately priced, and I really liked how the taquitos came with a salad on top. The tacos came with a good amount of meat, and the limes were perfectly juicy. I think the taquitos were well cooked, but the flavor was not heavy. Perhaps the chorizo and potato taquitos were the best out of the 3 offered (alongside chicken and potato/cheese). Service here was very nice, and even though we stayed a little too late (10-15 minutes past closing) they didn't rush us out. Nevertheless, we did apologize for staying past the closing hour. Sorry again!

Yelp
My favorite spot man. We are always taken care of when we come here. Small menu so not a lot to choose from, but everything is fantastic. I've recently started ordering the taquitos and jeez Louise this is my new thing. You're always greeted with a smile and it's such a friendly homey place to dine. I tried all three of the taquitos with chicken, potato and chorizo and the potato and cheese. All three are great but from now on, think I'll Go with just the chicken which is my favorite. It also is topped with veggies which I love. Lettuce tomato avocado and cotija cheese. I like being able To mix everything together which combines the crunchiness and saltiness of the taquito and the refreshing veggie taste. One of the customers actually saw me eating these and asked what they were. Funny enough, I saw them order the same thing! And they looked like they enjoyed their meal too. Such a great place. Not overly expensive and such good food. They always have a Tv playing some kind of sports so it's nice to watch while you eat

Tram V.

Yelp
Ordered 4 tacos with everything. They were filling and delicious! The tortillas were slightly crunchy, but still soft. The hot sauce that they proved was spicy so be aware! There were plenty of seatings, both inside and on the patio. The cashier was really nice and sweet. She helped us cleared our table and made sure to bring whatever we needed. Big shout out to her.

Jasmine W.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday for lunch. It is self order at the counter. We ordered 4 carne asada tacos and 4 al pastor tacos, split amongst 2 people. The food came out pretty fast. My partner and I preferred the carne asada tacos over the Al pastor tacos. There was no other people at the restaurant when we went, so it was a pretty quiet lunch. There is a small parking lot right outside the restaurant. Overall, these tacos are not bad but also not amazing. They are a bit more on the pricy side, but they're not a bad option if you are craving tacos in South Bay.

Diana T.

Yelp
Found Speedy's tacos here on Yelp and the reviews were great so here I am. I ordered the carne asada quesadilla oh yum! Actually all the food we ordered was delicious! Definitely a Mexican food place to visit!

Alex P.

Yelp
This was a nice place off of the 101. Quick, and easy to sit and eat. The food was really good, and overall satisfied. The protein was pretty chewy compared to other tacos I've had in the past, but still very good and had a lot of flavor. Super clean, quick service and I will be back!

Lui B.

Yelp
Omg! Was working around the corner and my customer referred me to this spot. I am amazed with how delicious the food is, all flavors come together very well. I had super carne asada burrito. The red salsa is amazing!! Definitely recommend this place!

John K.

Yelp
I have been eating at Speedy's for years now. I decided to leave a review now due to the all the stupid reviews I've seen recently. For those who don't like Speedy's, please stay away. I'm more than happy to see less lines when I eat there. There is enough local support for this fine restaurant. One of the few restaurants that serves a good hearty pozole and don't charge $20 for a beer. Great food, good service, and the best pico de gallo in the south bay. LOVE their hot sauce. Here is the only advice I can give...eat the tacos at the restaurant. Do not order it to go.

Amy G.

Yelp
I would give Speedy's Tacos 6 out of 5 stars if I could. I love this place. It's fast, convenient, affordable, and most of all, delicious. I come from SoCal and am used to eating authentic tacos -- this place does not disappoint. The staff here are friendly, generous, and great to talk to. I often see the staff remembering the regulars. Definitely a local gem in Sunnyvale. There are several tables indoors with a few outdoors as well. I like to order their tacos, chips y salsa, and taquitos loaded with fresh vegetables on top. There is no salsa bar but there are several salsas you can choose from if you ask. I was told that their habanero salsa is quite popular. Water is self-serve at the drink station. Thank you Speedy's Tacos. You have a special place in my heart.

Pauline N.

Yelp
Carne Asada Tacos- Generous amount of carne asada. Small bits and very oily. Onions are also a bit strong. The establishment has a cute interior, with license plate collages spelling out "Save Water, Drink Beer," or "Peace, Love, Weed," and I think the staff is very attentive. However, nice staff and a cute venue does not help make my food taste better.

Ruben R.

Yelp
Food is 6/10 Service is 9/10 Ambience is 9/10 The place is clean and welcoming. I recommend it for a good traditional burrito or soft taco.

Makena S.

Yelp
Friendly and fast (dare I say speedy) service with great, and filling, tacos. They do get busy but everything comes out hot and fresh. Chips and salsa are included when buying beer, which is cool. They usually have several specials which range from enchiladas to soup. Pro tip, if you like spicy: ask for their hot salsa, which really stings!

Cody O.

Yelp
Speedy's is the sister restaurant to Tia Juana across the street. The staff is friendly and responsive. The food is consistently delicious. The orange sauce can fluctuate in heat so try a little first before going hard on the sauce. The homes nearby are lucky to have them around. Dog friendly in the patio, the even have a water bowl out.

Yelp
This review is long overdue. Speedys is my go to comfort Mexican food. Ever since I discovered them a couple of years back, I've been going here frequently and have never really been disappointed with the food, or service or ambiance. It's my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Bay Area. I do have a couple of food trucks I like to takeout from as well but when I go to speedy's I dine in most of the time, even though they've got a huge takeout crowd (you'll notice when you dine in here, they have a huge fan base/audience, including many of my friends!) I like to dine in because they serve the food so hot and fresh, and eating it right there is probably you getting the maximum flavor out of the food. Each bite has so much flavor, any dish you order. Some of my tips for the food would be these, - The tacos are extremely well loaded and are worth your money at 3.50 odd a taco easily. So are the burritos and they are quite filling, compared to others you get around the area. - The special plates are my go to options and are all incredibly full of flavor, including the tortillas, the filling/meat, and any sauce on the side. My favorites are the chipotle and mole sauce and I usually switch between them over the enchiladas. - They offer rice and beans/salad with the plates. You can't go wrong either way but their beans are some of the best and also feel super fresh. - Do yourself a favor and get the spicy orange sauce on the side if you enjoy spice. It leaves a tingling flavor in your mouth but absolutely adds to the taste of everything. You can ask for as much as you want and they will not skimp on it at all. - The Enfrijoladas and Enjitonatadas are incredibly popular and are dishes you won't get at other Mexican establishments, and you'd definitely want to try them. They are slightly different takes on your enchiladas and you just have to try them and figure out which is your favorite amongst the style and the sauce. - Bottomless chips and salsa for $2. Where else do you get that? They have a normal and spicy salsa. I prefer the spicy. Again, they are extremely generous, and that's another reason I keep coming back here. Extremely fresh guac too. - They are extremely vegetarian friendly and the vegetarian takes of their dishes (pretty much every dish) are also well loaded, with lots of veggies and cheese, and are more bang for buck then your average place offering these options. - Good crispy taquitos as well but this is my change of food option than one amongst my usual go to options. Some other pointers, - It's like a house converted to a restaurant and it's a cool family friendly ambiance and you feel like you are at home. - Good space indoors, and also a patio with a few tables and the patio is usually filled up in the afternoons over weekends. - The servers are so quick and efficient, and friendly. The lady taking my order (I did not catch her name) was working at superhuman speed and has always been friendly at offering suggestions on the food, and in refilling our sauces. As appreciation, we cleaned up our tables on our own but she asks us not to. - The food gets ready within 5 minutes even when it's quite busy during weekends with a lot of people dining in/taking out. - Plenty of parking outside this restaurant and also in the plaza nearby. I haven't tried a variety of drinks here and I'm yet to try their Chile Poblano and Tortas. Will probably try them next time and update my review. They recently started serving alcohol I believe. Five stars in all terms.

Yelp
Actually 2.5 stars The good- service, very friendly. Rice and beans were also good... not great but good The not-so- good- 2 stars-shrimp taco- small cut up shrimp chewy and over cooked 2 stars Carne asada taco- flavorless beef. Was it boiled? It was surprisingly bland. 3 stars- The pulled pork taco. The only one that had flavor of the three I tried. Moist and a nice serving size All tacos had cilantro... which I don't mind but the cilantro was gritty like it should have been washed better. I won't be back

Yelp
A neighbor friend recommended this spot to me a few weeks back and I decided to stop by yesterday evening while I was in the area. I was initially unsure of this spot, but wanted to give it a try due to the many great reviews on Yelp. Don't be fooled by the humble building and decor - the quality of the food and service is top notch. When I first entered, there was no line so I was able to order my food at the counter right away. The long line came later, so I'm thankful I got in when I did! The tacos were super filling, with heaping fillings inside. I typically will order and eat 4 tacos for a meal, but could only finish 2 of these due to their size. The woman who took my order did initially miss 1 taco on the order, but added it free of charge after I pointed it out! I'm picky with my taco spots, but am so glad I found this one. I'm looking forward to returning and trying some of the many other dishes they offer.

Yelp
We stumbled upon Speedy's one Friday night about 6 years ago and have been coming back enthusiastically at least once/month since. We love the owners, the yummy food, fast (dare I say speedy) service, the friendly atmosphere -- all of it makes for an exceptional experience. We've taken so many friends and family here, too, and they've all come to love Speedy's as much as we do. Do yourself a favor and check it out. I'm confident that you'll realize that you've found a real gem.

Adrian O.

Yelp
Better than I expected This place gets a lot of people coming and going, specially for to-go orders. The asada tacos were pretty good, but the Al pastor was lacking. It's the typical Al pastor pre-mix you can get at a Mexican market. It didn't have pineapple either to tie it all in. The Al pastor could have been cooked or charred a little. Flavor was aight, definitely get some salsa. I gotta say though, the chips and salsa probably hold the spotlight. The salsa is really good, it's got a nice tang to it. I had to get a second one!! The enchiladas were ok. We got it with shrimp for both sauces. I gotta say, the sauces for enchiladas were bland and kinda dry too. Idk if it's an off day for them. It was nice going there late afternoon to sit in their patio after a hot summer day. Their horchata was nice and refreshing. I'll be back to try more!

Katie R.

Yelp
I've seen Speedy's on quite a few top taco lists on Yelp, so I was excited to give it a try. Happy to say the tacos didn't disappoint, and probably went above my expectations! At first glance, you might double check that you're in the right spot and not think you're at a restaurant, but don't judge a book by its cover. Once you head in, and maze around the entry way, you're greeted by a big opening dining room, a counter to order, and a door to their outdoor patio. After ordering, we headed out to the patio and grabbed one of the few open tables - this place was poopin'! Seems to be very popular for the tech crowd at lunchtime. The patio was nice and provides a lot of shade. There were also a lot of plants and greenery to take away from the fact that you're right next to a road. We started with chips and guac, this also came with salsa. The salsa packed some heat without being too too spicy. Guac was good and had some nice avo chunks. Now the main reason we're here, the tacos! Tacos came two tortillas to each, loaded with meat, salsa, red onion, some cilantro, and a few jalapeños, radish slices, and a lime. I went with the Carne Asada, pulled pork, and al pastor tacos. The carne Asada was probably my least favorite, the meat was tender, but the pulled pork and al pastor were so good and flavorful that they overshadowed this one. Tacos really were loaded up in the meat department, no skimping here. At ~$3.50 a taco I feel like I was getting a good deal and actually got my moneys worth. Definitely would come back here, and excited for the next time I do!

Jeankaylyn E.

Yelp
Finally got to try this place! I ordered the Al pastor taco, fish taco, and carne asada taco. I was pretty full after eating just three tacos because they really packed it in there. You are really paying for what you eat! There's this orange sauce that they have and if you like spicy, definitely try it but it was too spicy for me after a while. We also had a taco party. We just ordered what ever people wanted and everyone loved their tacos. Sadly I didn't get to go inside to check out their service cause my boyfriend was the one who picked it up, but he said there was a long line and it took a little longer than expected. If you want to avoid lines, definitely go early before rush hour. Every time I pass by here at night there's a long line.

Steve I.

Yelp
Initial visit to Speedy's. I ordered the al pastor burrito and wife had the lengua burrito. We both noticed the shrinkflation of the meat. The meats were flavorful but scarce. Plenty of filler arroz sopa seca (rice). Burrito wheat tortillas were made and then browned on the flat top on both sides and added a depth of taste. There was a green mole sauce on top with a drizzles of sour cream. The orange hot sauce is indeed hot. Service is place your order at the cash register. Register order taker was friendly. Burritos from ordering to brought to table was about 15 min. Parking lot is smallish but the surrounding strip mall parking lot was ample. Ambiance was a modern decor inside and tables are available for al fresco eating.

Yelp
I was in town for a service and went to this place to grab some dinner. I was craving some Mexican food and stumbled upon this as I was yelping. Went on a Thursday evening and was a quick service. Food - I got the pulled pork burrito and it was super savory. The meat was super well marinated and and the red rice tasted really good. No matter the food you order, I would recommend you get the spicy red sauce on the side as it adds some great flavor to the overall taste. They also have some salsa but the red sauce would be a non-negotiable for me after going to this place once. Service - The cashier was accommodating and had patience when answering some questions I had on the offerings they had on the menu. I was not aware of the side of sauce you could get so he made sure to offer me some before I left which i thought was very kind. Within placing my order to go, it was ready just under 15 minutes. Seating - There is plenty of seating inside and out. Parking - There is somewhat limited parking in the back as this place shared a parking lot with other businesses. If you happen to go during peak hours, would recommend you maybe trying street parking if the back parking lot is full. Cleanliness - very clean overall. I definitely will go there again and try some of their other items on the menu.

Casidy C.

Yelp
Yum!!!! This place has solid tacos for a reasonable price, and the meat was so delicious- especially the pulled pork. Both meats were marinated and seasoned really well, and complimented beautifully by the salsa and toppings on each taco, but the pulled pork was sooooo juicy and flavorful- I'm still thinking about it even the next morning HAHA We also got the guacamole ($6) which came with chips and salsa! Quite yummy, the salsa had a certain taste to it that felt unique... maybe a sort of fruit included? And the guacamole was well seasoned but not too tangy! The chips weren't The Best chips I'd ever had, but not bad and I can't complain. Water is self serve and you seat yourself at an open table after ordering at a counter. Kind servers at the counter, and they did offer us a spicier salsa that my friend tried, so if you like spicy you may want to request that! When we went around 5:30 on a Friday dinner, the parking lot and restaurant weren't busy at all! Can't wait to go again for that pulled pork and to try their other meats!!

Julia S.

Yelp
I've gotten the burritos through DoorDash and it's delicious, affordable, and convenient. Serving size was quite large! I'm pescatarian so I appreciate the fish/shrimp options available here.

Jayz P.

Yelp
The service was phenomenal for only one guy working. He even changed gloves between touching the money and handling food. He was polite and kind. The person we bought the food for said "it was cool, nothing to write home to mom about." I did not get to try it so I do not have a say in the matter. I think the funniest thing my friend and I saw was the "chicken meat ball" Uhm. Excuse me, why is it in quotes? It was fairly busy so, please come and try them out.

Cassi K.

Yelp
A little too much spice and not enough flavor, but overall pretty good tacos! And good value! Service was fast too. They have nice outdoor seating - would definitely return

Ayush K.

Yelp
I've been to Speedy's Tacos in the past. Back then, I gave it a 5 star review, but after visiting Speedy's recently, I have to change my rating to 4/5. The quality of the tacos has gone down a bit. My friend and I visited Speedy's on a weekday around 5 p.m., and it was very empty (which makes sense). We ordered 5 tacos - 1 puller pork, 3 al pastor, and 1 carne asada. When it comes to the size of the tacos, you definitely get your money's worth. I personally felt that the 4 tacos I got were more than what I could finish. 3 was probably the right amount. Each taco consists of two soft tortillas. The tacos contain a green sauce and jalapeños so they are hot and usually on the spicy end. I was okay with that. The meat was a bit disappointing. It felt dry, and the cook wasn't consistent - some pieces were tender, and some weren't. The service was fast. We ordered at the counter, and our waiter served us our tacos within 5-10 minutes. The staff was friendly as well. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. We opted for indoor seating.

Phong T.

Yelp
Speedy's Tacos is surely S P E E D Y. If you order tacos, at least. Looking for good food? This place is it. Affordable and delicious. They have a good selection of proteins for their tacos: fish, shrimp, Al pastor, carne asada, lengua and chicken. They also have tortas and burritos on the menu. Quick, and friendly service. Cozy dining area; not too big, but there are patio seating! TACOS All the tacos are served on corn tortilla (my fav). They're topped with plenty of onions and cilantro. The portions are pretty big and they're not stingy on the meats and toppings. The meats are seasoned well and not over cooked which is a plus plus. They're served with slices of radishes and pickled jalapeños -- YUM! My go-to proteins are: -Lengua -Carne Asada -Al Pastor -Shrimp DRINKS -Horchata; delicious and refreshing. Not overly sweet. Right amount of cinnamon.

Yelp
Speedy's is a nice casual taqueria that makes really yummy food! I am vegetarian, so I haven't actually tried the namesake tacos since there aren't any veggie options for those, but the burritos are great. The online menu has a veggie burrito, but oddly you won't see it on the menu board, so you have to be in the know. They add grilled veggies and guacamole to it so it's not boring, and they toast it up a bit on the outside so it's warm, just a little crunchy, and all the flavors go great together. It's also topped with some salsa verde too. I've been here a few times and every time I think how good it is, but then I totally forget to come back because it's in a part of Sunnyvale that doesn't have much else around it and I never drive by it. On my last visit we also had some chips and guac and salsa (spicy!). My friend had the tacos and seemed to like them as well. Again, I really like the veggie burrito but someday I will branch out and try the taquitos too. The staff has been really friendly each time I've been here and it's never been super crowded.

Yelp
Speedy's Tacos is now my go-to spot for authentic Mexican cuisine, and let me tell you, it's a hidden gem that deserves all the recognition! From the first bite, it's evident that they prioritize using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere. Their commitment to prompt service and affordable prices makes it even more appealing. I've tired their Carne Asada Tacos and Steak Quesadilla, and all I can say is... WOW! WOW! WOW! Being from SoCal, where authentic tacos are a way of life, I can confidently say that Speedy's Tacos does not disappoint. The Carne Asada Tacos are my absolute favorite, and the Steak Quesadilla amazingly good, a mouthwatering masterpiece. It's evident that each item on the menu is crafted with care and expertise. Insider tip: Make sure to try the EXTRA HOT sauce - it's a game-changer. If you're craving authentic Mexican flavors with a side of friendly service, Speedy's Tacos is the place to be. It's a five-star experience all around, and I can't recommend it enough! Five stars for delivering a burst of Mexican bliss that keeps me coming back for more!

Yelp
Ordered online for takeout. Got 5 items: the carne asada nachos, steak burrito, carne asada taco, and pulled pork taco. The carne asada nachos were delicious and came with a ton of meat and cheese. They layer cheese between the chips so there is plenty and no shortage of toppings for the chips. They have really big tortilla chips too. The steak burrito was tasty as well and came with good portions of each ingredients. They press the burrito on the grill too so there is a nice crispness to the tortilla. The tacos were good but I'm not sure if they messed up on the meat of the pulled pork because it looked nothing like pulled pork. But they were both delicious nonetheless. I will definitely come back whenever I'm craving Mexican food!

Mai S.

Yelp
I was craving for authentic Mexican food and came here on Monday lunch after seeing reviews on Yelp. I ordered shrimp, fish and carne asada tacos which was more than enough to fill me up. The tacos came with a lot of meat in it and onion in the tacos goes well with. Although it was lunch rush hours the food came out very fast ! Tho The fish taco was a little too spicy than I excepted. The server who does everything all by herself (except cooking), although she is busy she made sure we have what we need and she is super friendly to every customer. They have many tables both inside & outside. Also some beer on tap! It would be good place if you want some quick meal or meal with friends !

Haley B.

Yelp
We were in the area and looking for a good burrito and stumbled upon this place. It did not disappoint! Our burritos were really great, we had seconds of the chips and salsa because of how addictive it was. We loved the ambiance which gives you more of a taqueria, laid-back vibe. We watched a la liga game while eating which was just a plus. The service was fast and as friendly as it gets! The guy behind the counter was hustling and never stopped being nice regardless of how busy it got. Above all, we were impressed with the variety of the menu and the fact that they had so many options you don't see in standard taquerias or even larger restaurants - albondigas, enfrijoladas, tamales, etc. it's rare to find these items outside of home! We'll definitely be back!

Danielle M.

Yelp
I'm not sure how this place has such good reviews about the food. I had high hopes for some good food. I ordered carne asada tacos and a chicken quesadilla. The tacos were bland. The meat wasn't seasoned at all. The salsa they serve taste weird like they add parsley to it. The quesadilla was basic, served in the shape of a burrito but with chicken and cheese. It was alright but was served looking like a wet burrito with salsa and sour cream on top. I haven't been this disappointed in a taco place in a long time. There are much better places around the neighborhood for a more authentic tasting experience. This may be good for people who don't like flavor and like a watered down experience.

Yelp
A quick yelp search brought us here for a 'speedy' lunch before visiting Costco. The parking lot was quite empty when we arrived at 11:50 AM which caused me to wonder a little; as soon as we ordered and sat down, the line all of sudden grew to a dozen or more long and kept going. The indoor dining area is has a capacity of 8-9 tables; 7-8 tables outdoor. One young lady was the cashier and taking orders. Rest rooms are clean. Most of the customers appeared to be regulars and knew exactly what they wanted. We ordered three soft tacos (pulled, fish and shrimp) and the enchiladas in chipotle sauce which was the recommend special of the day (chicken and pulled pork). When we were leaving I saw chille relleno written on the board of daily specials and wished I had seen that earlier. Food was brought to the table in about 5 minutes, both dishes were piping hot, fresh and tasty; no complimentary salsa/chips, we had water from the soda machine. It's mostly self serve, fast turnover, our total bill with 15% tip came to about $38. We were happy with the delicious, fresh and authentic food. Will likely come back to try other dishes.

Yelp
Hands down best Mexican food I have had in a while. Out of town with the family for our daughters soccer tournament and found this on yelp close to our hotel and was not disappointed. The service was great and fast and the ambiance of the restaurant was clean and cute with a nice outside eating area as well.

Yelp
Online order. Located near Lawrence Expressway. Parking is limited but easy to find. It was quite busy and a long line. Indoor seating is limited. Good for small groups of 2-4. Al Pastor Tacos (5/5): super flavorful. The al pastor was cooked well. It wasn't dry whatsoever and was still easy to chew. I really liked that the tacos had a double shell. Overall, Speedy's Tacos is phenomenal. The food is delicious. I would definitely come back here.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday for lunch with coworkers. Great spot for tacos nearby and quick service! Clean place and plenty of indoor outdoor seating. Tortillas were a bit crisp to my liking, but flavor of the carne asada and al pastor were amazing. Of course had to get the chips and salsa too!

Yelp
Speedy's Tacos lives up to the hype! Tried the carne asada quesadilla and it was delicious! Every dish we ordered hit the spot. A must-visit for Mexican food enthusiasts!

Yelp
Came here on a whim while I was at a conference down the street. I was not disappointed! Great customer service. I ordered to go and they made sure I had everything I needed. No complaints with the food. I got chicken nachos and a pulled pork taco. Added the mild salsa which was just the touch it needed. Meat was great with no chewy pieces. I would recommend and go back if I'm ever in the area again.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on friday with a few coworkers, it was surprisingly busy for a Friday afternoon! Plenty of parking around. The inside is a little dark but it has plenty of seating, the outdoor patio area has tables in some shady spots which we ate at. The staff was very friendly when taking our order and were working really hard bussing tables and cleaning. It seemed like a nice family run place. I ordered the steak burrito, which was a generous size. I also ordered a jamaica to go with my food. The burrito was super flavorful, the meat was perfectly seasoned and salty which is what a good burrito should be like. Super simple burrito with rice beans a guac. The salsa and crema were served on top of the burrito which i kind of liked, but also made me eat my burrito with a knife and fork because the burrito itself was wet LOL, so i felt like a loser eating with with utensils. But nonetheless, it was a delicious burrito, definitely one of the better burritos i have had outside of san jose. My friends got tacos which they thought were good, but they thought the al pastor wasn't as traditional as they liked, plus no pineapple. They enjoyed the food though. I'd be back myself for that burrito!

Yelp
So I went here and tried a few different food items. Had tacos carnitas, chicken as well. The chicken was okay not too bad but not too good either. The carnitas were tasty. Juicy and good flavor. I also got the carne asada quesadilla and it was pretty good on the texture aspect. The flavor was pretty good. They guacamole was tasty as well and a good size. Overall I'd give it an 8/10. The service was good and simple. Person at the register was nice. Had a new feel to the restaurant but very clean and a great dining experience.

Yelp
Quick and friendly service! We got the veggie & chicken burrito and they were absolutely delicious! Get the orange sauce here -- it's so spicy but makes everything tastes even better. I want to come back and try the tacos next time.

Yelp
The burrito was expensive but good. But the Jarritos soda was $4.50 before taxes. I repeat: $4.50. Why not just make it $7 or $10 while you're at it? I know Tia Juana has a problem with offensive pricing and gouging patrons, but wasn't expecting similar from Speedy's (even though they share some of the same management). You know damn well they don't charge these rates to their working clientele.

Yelp
Hello Happy Cinco de Mayo! This is our second time going here and I have to write a review. Food wise tacos are very good for a price of $3-$4 with everything cilantro, onions, and salsa. I would suggest carne asada and pulled pork. Maybe chicken, but that is too basic. Lol. It is a small place that serves beer and some juices. Service wise I would say the staff are very friendly and approachable they will bring you the food even if you are outside waiting. The only issue is the wait times are sometimes extreme(even if their store's name is Speedy lol). Other than that, I am a fan of Speedy Tacos since we moved to the bay area. Try it out, you might find it to your liking if you are looking for some authentic tacos(kind of)
