"Warm and cozy with family-style seating, Spencer feels like you were invited to your cool chef friend’s house for a memorable meal — which it will be. Chef and co-owner Abby Olitzky creates a new, set-priced menu with two entree choices for each calendar month, plus selected appetizers and desserts, posted on Spencer’s website (online reservations open up on Tock a few days before the end of each month for the following month and no walk-ins are accepted). Recent menus have featured options such as celeriac fritti with Meyer lemon aioli, spinach gnocchetti with raclette cheese and smoked breadcrumbs, and a chocolate rye torte. Be sure to dive into Spencer’s carefully curated wine list; it received a James Beard Award semifinalist nod for Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program in 2025 — its third year in a row.
