In Cagliari, Sardinia's Quirks and Traditions Remain Center Stage | Condé Nast Traveler

"Near the village of Chia, Spiaggia di Tuerredda impressed me with its fine white sand and has earned its reputation as one of southern Sardinia’s most popular beaches." - Catherine Fairweather

Breathtaking beauty. A beach with amazing white sand and crystal clear water. This is one of the most beautiful, exotic beaches on the island and a popular vacation spot in Sardinia, so it's essential to buy tickets online in advance. The shallow water with schools of fish is ideal for children and snorkeling. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for rent, and you can have lunch at the beach club looking the sea. There's a large parking next to the beach, as well as several smaller ones nearby.

Great beach. Short walk from parking (10Euro/day). Requires online booking to be made the day before from 08:00 (2Euro/person). Thanks to the limited number of visitors it was not overcrowded. Busy but acceptable. We came from Porto Pino, the drive is spectacular with plenty of roadside spots to stop and admire the views.

Beautiful stunning beach. Absolutely need a reservation but in September it was easy and not overly busy. Parking was available completely and two sunbeds and an umbrella went between 35 and 50 euros. The toilets were free but a little smelly as they are in a swamp. All in all a great day

Stunning beach!!!!! Crystal clear blue water - there’s also a restaurant/ bar and beach chairs that can be rented. We went in September and paid the €2 euro per person entry fee online on the spot but in peak summer could see this place being full so might need to pay the reservation fee in advance. As part of the fee you get 1 shower + parking cost an additional €10.

We were on the free part of the beach on July 30th, where there are no reserved sunbeds. Sunbeds for the beach clubs can be reserved via WhatsApp or phone. Check the website for more information. No reservation is needed for the free beach, but full is full. And full is really full, very busy. And unfortunately, there were too many wasps. It will be beautiful here in the early and late season, hence the 4 stars. But in peak season, I think it deserves 3 stars. The sand is nice and fine, and the sea slopes evenly. We didn't stay on the beach for long because of the wasps. So, I can't comment on the restaurants. Park only in the designated, paid parking spaces and not along the road, as there are definitely checks for illegal parking.

Wow an amazing beach with the most amazing water. You need to reserve in advance so make sure to do it a few days before you plan to visit. In case you didn’t and it׳s fully booked, you can do what I did: whatsapp Tuerredda beach club, and reserve an umbrella. They will grant you access to the beach. A bit costly but it’s worth it and will save your day.

It is a Beautiful Beach, clean and crystal clear cool water. There is a lido but not setup yet for the season. We were here in May and is quite windy If you have an umbrella which you will need it as it gets very hot in the sun but also you will need to have the umbrella tied up with a cord and a spiral plastic screw into the sand otherwise it will blow away ! There is very limited free parking in the entrance but further in there is a car park which charge €5

Its a nice beach with 2 restaurants. The sea is beautiful and clean and the sand is fine. You will need a rezervation for a spot on the beach wich can be made on their website.
