4.3 stars. 1st time to eat here. Simple and clean dining area. Karuna took care of us during the meal. She was efficient though soft spoken. Ordered a Samosa Platter ($7.99) and Baba Ganoush ($6.99) for our appetizers. Samosa Platter was nicely plated and delicious. Baba Ganoush was average and garnished with some pomegranate arils. Wife had the Momos ($10.99) in a soup (+$1.00). They were absolutely delicious! Son had the Butter Masala ($13.99) with chicken. He made light work of it and wished it had a bit more rice served on the side. I had the Kadai Masala ($13.99) with chicken. It was very enjoyable and rich in flavors. All in with tip was $70.47 for our meal. Definitely will be back!

Been here several times. We normally just bought the food for take away. Our favorites are the pizza with onion sauce, the chicken biryani and the samosa chaat. The chicken biryani usually comes with about 5-6 pieces of boneless dark meat, and the flavor is what got us hooked. The naan pizza is also delicious and we prefer the onion sauce on it. You can build your own and pick what topping you want for your pizza. The samosa chaat is definitely a pick me up treat because it's so savory and refreshing. I wasn't too impressed with the kinafa we ordered the first time so we never ordered it again afterwards. It was soggy and there was no cheese so not my kind of kinafa.

Best Spaghetti I have ever had in restaurant. The flavor is so good. Will definitely come back for it… Food compelled me to keep a review…Best service. The staff and cook were friendly and considerate…loved them.

Google
Spice 8 was a refreshing take on Indian food. I found myself ordering the naan pizza. I was very skeptical, admittedly. However, it was really good! It was a unique experience that I recommend trying. Their garlic naan was also tasty. If you’re looking for fast, affordable, delicious Indian food, give them a try.

I had the pleasure of dining at Spice 8 Nepalese Restaurant in Texas during my visit from Australia 🇦🇺, and it was a delightful culinary experience. The standout dish for me was undoubtedly the dumplings; they were the best I've tried in town, bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. The rice bowl at Spice 8 is a must-try. It was a flavorful and satisfying dish that left me craving for more. Although I was missing lamb 🐑 on the menu, the lamb shank we had was a pleasant surprise. It reminded me of the delicious lamb dishes back in Australia 🇦🇺, and I was thoroughly impressed with the flavors and tenderness. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're in Texas and looking for authentic Nepalese cuisine, Spice 8 is definitely worth a visit.

Change in menu means I had to check it out. Looks like ownership changed again and now met with new and different smiling guy at the front. Ordered a bunch of grill items and it was super delicious and they gave a free dessert. Will have to come back. Prices were fair and the meat flavorful and freshly grilled I can't get enough of the lamb chops Mango lassi is so mangoey 😄, spicy chow mein with paneer for a good veg option Went back for the umpteenth time but suspect ownership has changed. Dont see the same smiling guy at the front checkout or the cook in the back who always asked me "How spicy??" They also charged me more for the paneer option and the chowmein is not as tasty as before. The lassi this time around was also too spicy and not mangoey enough for me. Samosas havent changed, still as good as it was before

Google
The food was Delicious! I brought my two children here so we can try Indian cuisine for the first time and it was a home run. The gentleman at the counter was so patient as he fulfilled our request for multiple samples and made us the perfect pizza with the toppings of his choice( I asked him to make it with love how he would eat it lol). If your thinking about trying definitely stop in you won’t regret it!

Google
Amazing! Best Indian food I’ve found in North Fort Worth. A wide selection of options, but I went with the classic butter chicken and samosa plate. It was soooo good y’all, and clean, and fresh tasting. I will fasho be returning soon.

Yelp
Since the pandemic shifted my workplace to a hybrid model, I haven't had the chance to indulge in Indian cuisine as often as I'd like. That's why I was thrilled to meet a friend for lunch at Spice 8, eager to experience it for the first time. They promote themselves as a fusion of Indian and Mediterranean flavors, but I opted for the butter chicken, so I can't comment on the Mediterranean aspect. The dish arrived piping hot and paired beautifully with the biryani rice, creating a delightful explosion of flavors. We also shared some Naan, which was perfectly seasoned and fantastic for dipping. Alongside the butter chicken, there were two sides, one of which featured deliciously cooked chickpeas that were a treat on their own. The dining area was spacious, utilizing the tall windows of the storefront to fill the space with natural light. The service was prompt and friendly, making the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Rachel R.

Yelp
I am officially obsessed with Spice8! My family first tried this spot on Valentine's Day and returned twice this week! The food is made fresh and the spice is mild, medium or hot. Medium is my sweet spot. The Indian/Mediterranean fusion makes for a delicious combination. The garlic naan is so good I could eat my weight in it. The Paneer Pizza was such a fun concept and so delicious. The service by Sam was friendly and attentive. There is plenty of seating and it's never overly packed. Definitely a gem in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Must try !!! First time customers, we enjoyed every aspect. Customer service was superb. Food was delicious and spicy (but in a good way). The restaurant was clean, we were the only customers eating inside. Our waiter, Asumaki (pretty sure I spelled that wrong) was very polite and helpful with any question I had. Very soft spoken and sweet. The chef was very sweet as well. Both with welcoming smiles. Definitely coming back.

Yelp
Sunday Lunch excursion. Mixing up the nationalities of food, so we selected Indian. An interesting restaurant, sit down for some dishes, go to the counter and build a bowl for others. Limited but a wide range of offerings. We started with an appetizer of Samosa with a couple of sauces and an order of Garlic Naan bread. My sponsor ordered the Shrimp Biryani. I ordered the Super Bowl -- a go to the counter and add a huge variety of items until you fill the bowl. I had the regular and spicy chicken as the protein. The flavors were good and deep. We both enjoyed the experience.

Yelp
A wonderful little place which your taste buds will thank you for visiting. Very tasty food and wonderful service.

Marica M.

Yelp
First time trying this place and it was so good! The workers were so friendly and they even gave complimentary tea that is supposed to aid with digestion (reminded me of a dark earl gray tea flavor-very good!) they do have quite a few TVs so we were able to watch the football game playing while we ate! They have a small bar with beers on tap and plenty of seating inside! Their garlic naan was delicious and pillowy soft (literally!). We also got their mango lassi and that was almost amazing. It was mango flavored and the thickness of it reminds me a lot of a milkshake. It was so good! Highly recommend getting it! We will definitely be returning!

Ramu R.

Yelp
Ordered lunch to go, and chose the chicken wrap. It was spicy but was just filled with loads of rice and spices but hardly any chicken. For a wrap priced over $10 it was not worth it. The protein is the most important part & it was very much lacking.

Yelp
Super nice folks handling the orders and cooking. They don't have an extensive menu, but what they do have is good! We ordered several things off the menu, for take out and sat there while they prepared. They offered us our drinks while we waited and to ensure I had maximize stomach space for my food, I had to slow my roll sucking down the yogurt mango Lassi drink. It was so good I could have easily finished it right there. Constraint.... The food was delicious- definitely would order again. The "Better than pizza@ was really good. Like others have commented, you can pick your own toppings and then they bake it while you wait - something magical happens in that little oven bc when it comes out it looks and taste way better than it seems it will! My friend had the Super bowl dish and he said the spice didn't disappoint, there was enough heat without being overpowering. Their sauces have different heat levels. They are very patient in describing different ones. The brown sauce was my favorite. We enjoyed the "Wow Momo", there were very tasty - like dumplings or aka pot stickers. I think there were like 6 or 8 pieces - ate them up before I counted them. We also had the Samosa, comes with two pieces, similar to a dumpling, but more triangular. I liked the fried tasty coating and hot center of goodness. Definitely would go back, would be for take out. They have tables and all, enough for larger groups. They're casual dress. Beer - domestic & imported, plus had wine coolers listed on board. If you're not sure what to order, they are very helpful to assist in picking something for you based n what you like to taste.

Yelp
After searching way too long on Uber eats for a place to get something to eat. I finally decided on this place and I'm glad I did. I ended up ordering the chicken biryani, two-piece samosa plate, mango lassi, and one chicken pizza with spinach sauce. I also received a two piece of the Gulab Jamun for free. Yes it is a lot of food but this will last me for at least 3 days. If any of you want a really good chicken biryani this may be the place for you. I love the fact that came with the boiled egg. A lot of places don't do the egg in the biryani. The mango lassi was absolutely delicious. The chicken pizza with the spinach sauce was good but a little too cheesy for me. If they would have put a little less cheese on there it would have been perfect. But the chicken was very flavorful and tender. I did not try the dessert nor did I try to samosa. But I'm guessing they'll be just as good as the rest of the items I did try.

Yelp
2 words: Food. Poisoning. I am literally dying at the moment. Unfortunately I will not be back. Though the flavor isn't bad, food quality and food health safety is a concern. -update to owners response: Tuesday 4PM Not allergic to anything, I love love love spicy food. I had the bowl w/ biriyani rice w/ chicken and added tofu. (Would not recommend the tofu - hard and dry.) + veggies + tikka marsala sauce + cilantro & onions + green sauce + yogurt To be fair the flavor was not bad at all. I really liked the green sauce. Service was good enough for 20% tip. But it just did not end well for me.

Janet S.

Yelp
We've been here a couple of times, and it's now one of my fav spots! The butter chicken is delicious! The service is excellent. Our server was so attentive and knowledgeable on everything on the menu! We also had the pizza and it was so good

Kou L.

Yelp
My husband and I love Indian food and decided to check this place out. We came in with our baby in the stroller and it was fine. So yes, baby friendly, which is a PLUS!!! We waited awhile to order, but once we placed our order it was an average wait to recieve our food. The wait didn't bother us as they were short staff just like any other place, so if you're hungry then come earlier or be patient. There was plenty of seats, but busy due to order pick up. We placed an order or chicken tikka masala meal, chicken tikka masala pizza, an order of samosa and chicken biryani. Meals didn't all come together which would've been nice, but the food itself was fresh and delicious! Definitely loved the pizza and I highly recommend it. Will definitely go back, especially for the pizza. Service was great as the cashier has helpful. The owner came by to apologize for the long wait, which was generous of him. Other wise, great place to eat at.

Bronte V.

Yelp
Not a single thing disappointed! We ordered about 8 menu items and all delicious! Service, Food, Ambiance - EVERYTHING. I don't know how this place isn't more popular!

Jenny F.

Yelp
Great fresh food, clean environment, nice staff. Definitely for the visit! Note it looks dark and closed when you first pull up, but it's open!

Nathalie Z.

Yelp
Amazing! That's the only word I can think of for this restaurant! Everything's fresh, service is amazing, and it's in a great area. Ambiance is nice, upbeat, and cute decor. Highly recommend!

Angel S.

Yelp
great food awesome service perfect place to enjoy the variety of indo medi blended food love the Falafel chaat ,butter chicken meatballs and iced masala tea !!! highly standard a theme restaurant !!!

Andrea B.

Yelp
The food here is so flavorful! I highly recommend checking them out. I had the butter chicken meatballs and the chicken biryani and both are phenomenal. If you're looking for some very reasonably priced Indian food that is a 10/10 stop at Spice 8.

Jen T.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of pizza. However, I love Spice 8's wicked entree. You can get the entree with curry or kebab. Given the choice, I say go for that curry! It's jammed pack with rich flavors. The entree is the perfect balance of your protein, carbs, and veggies: 1. Protein: Get the chicken tikka masala. There's a reason why it's the most popular, and easily a favorite. The chicken was savory and delicious. The side of chickpeas is your delightful serving of a plant-based protein as well. 2. Carbs: Go for the biryani rice. It has aromatic spices that is way more fun than that brown/white rice. I also highly recommend the garlic naan - ohhhh sooo good! 3. Vegetables: Part of the entree includes a salad. It's not the plain old greens thrown together. The salad was prepared with finely chopped toppings taking it to the next level. Service is always very fast! I'll be back pretty soon for that curry.

Amanda T.

Yelp
Food was good and service was great. I picked it up and it was ready when they said it would be.

Hannah N.

Yelp
Need to update since I've gotten food from here since my initial review. My friend wanted to try it out so I begrudgingly agreed. I played with the different sauces and chutneys this time and really enjoyed what I ate. So you want SPICY? Get the Spice 8 chutney! My tongue was on fire, but I liked it. The Super Bowl is undoubtedly super filling as it is jam packed with rice and toppings. The amount of protein is still a bit lacking and the biriyani itself could be more flavorful. I like the kadai sauce much more than the tikka sauce on the naan pizza aka better than pizza. I find it more flavorful and goes well with the other toppings and of course cheese. Looking forward to trying the momos.

Matthew H.

Yelp
Service was good and the food was ok. There were some dishes done very well and some that needed a lot more seasoning. One of our dishes had slightly undercooked chicken. None of the men's or women's bathroom toilets flushed. Our experience may have been a fluke, but it's worth another try.

Dee F.

Yelp
Excellent food, great service and very clean. The food is fresh and cooked in a timely manner.

D'Ann H.

Yelp
The food at Spice 8 was delicious; I ordered the chicken tikka Masala it was delicious. My 2 sons had the pizza which was delicious as well. The service was amazing, the server explained the menu and what was popular since it was our first time. They have indoor or outdoor dining. It is not fancy but it is worth visiting.

Johnny N.

Yelp
Came here for a quick lunch. I young lady took my order not very good with customer service skills. Had this look on her face like she didn't want my business. Also took out her cell phone and text in the middle of my order I just stood there waiting for her to finish her text message.... Management needs to train their employees better on the customer service skills.

Johnathan N.

Yelp
The rice is dry with flavor the chick peas are ok. The garlic Naan is good but they didn't properly wrap it so the steam made it all went the butter chicken is also great don't like how there is no spice option online the chicken briani is ok was very excited to treat myself but this presentation has definitely disappointed me and for charging 16$ for the butter chicken I would typically expect something slightly more but at the end of the day I do like the butter chicken and naan that's about it.

Ashley W.

Yelp
So disappointing, this place has seriously gone downhill. We used to be able to order dinner and there would enough to split it into another meal for lunch the next day. But after our order last week, we barely got 5 pieces of chicken for an entrée. We will never be back. The amount they give you is not worth the cost anymore

Payton R.

Yelp
Great food and service!! I've tried the Super Bowl with lamb, chicken korma, and garlic naan. All great!

Brittany D.

Yelp
It's really hard for me to drive past this place and not stop for samosa. They are so delicious! As a vegetarian there aren't many options for fast food and I so appreciate being able to stop in here and grab these babies. Every one is so nice every time I come in too. Do yourself a favor and get some!!

Marianne N.

Yelp
Great place! We ordered lamb masala and chicken butter curry. The masala was the best! They didn't skimp on the lamb like some places do. The garlic naan was super powerful. We told them spicy and boy oh boy we got spicy! The Samoa's and they were EXCELLENT! Love the fast service as you can't find that with Indian ever. This is a place that should grow!

Amanda H.

Yelp
The food was tasty: I had butter chicken, tikka masala, garlic naan, and mango lassi. The things that I didn't like were how small the portions were, you're getting a kid's meal for one entree, and how flat the naan was. It's not a pancake! I ordered takeout so I don't know how the service is, $50 for two entrees and some sides is insane....

Lynda W.

Yelp
Spice 8 is one of my favorites for dinner and lunch on the weekends. Wide variety of build your own and wrap combinations to choose from. I usually order either the chick peas, tofu or paneer as my protein. True to its name, the food here is spicy but very delicious. The dining area has dark concrete floors and bright contrasting chairs. There are big screen TVs featuring sporting events. The location is near the intersection of North Tarrant Pkwy and Hwy377 so it is easy to reach. I definitely recommend it

Fiona B.

Yelp
Ever get a hankering for Indian? Go check Spice8 out! Never had a bad review or dish. My favorites; Spicy chicken pizza Chicken momo Lamb bowl Chicken bowl Chicken wrap Has not disappointed yet. Check them out.

Steve S.

Yelp
If you're looking for some wonderful Indian Cuisine in north Fort Worth then THIS is your place. We were greeted by some very friendly people who were excited to introduce us to their food. We ordered 2 entrees. The chicken kabab and the chicken tikka masala. Both entrees came with rice, salad and chick peas and naan. We ordered and additional garlic naan for the tikka masala sauce and that was an excellent call! The chicken kababs were spiced very well and were very moist and tender. There were 5 good sized pieces of chicken and a side of "onion sauce" that added an additional facet to the flavors. Regardless the chicken was excellent with or without the sauce. The tikka masala was a huge hit. We could've had just a bunch of that and naan and been very happy (and full haha). The sauce was not too spicy but they can raise the spice level if you ask. It was very fragrant and full of flavor. The chicken was tender and juicy. One of the employees AJ was very kind. He came to check on us and explain a little bit more about the flavors. Overall a wonderful experience and value.

Joel K.

Yelp
Spice 8 is a honest to goodness great addition to the plethora of restaurants in the vicinity. The establishment is clean and the people working there are friendly, but what's most important is the food is freaking awesome. Everything that was ordered was delicious. They have a cooked to order menu or you can choose to do the Chipotle style thing and order something off their "Build Your Own" menu that includes a bowl, a wrap, entrée plate,or what they call better than pizza. Note: When we ordered items that wasn't part of the build your own option, there was a definite wait for our food. It's good to know things are being prepared fresh, given the wait we had, so be prepared for a potential wait on your food. When the food arrived, we were happy with the presentation and what we had was absolutely tummy pleasing amazingness. Garlic Naan: The naan was warm, soft, and a pillowy delight. The hint of garlic flavoring went well with all the food we had and was great for wiping down plates of their delicious sauces. Chicken Momo: Momos for the most part is the South Asian or Himalayan version of what many know as dumplings. They have a chicken and a veggie version of these dumplings and can be prepared either fried or steamed. I imagine steaming takes a bit longer, which would account for the time/wait on our food. The steamed versions are delicious. Filling was well seasoned and they offer a nice spicy sauce and a milder one that both went perfectly with the dumplings. These were a hit. Chicken Biryani: The chicken biryani was delicious and prepared perfectly. Textures of soft rice with bits of crunchy accoutrements and chicken made this a party in your mouth. Nice source of carbs for loading up and pairing with another entrée or consumed as the main meal itself. Paneer Chilli: Their paneer chilli is by far the favorite on the table. I imagine the chicken, tofu, and potato variants would all be just as good because it's definitely the sauce that sets this dish off. They add green and red peppers into this dish, but again, that sauce is amazing. It is amazingly delicious. I'm not great at handling spice, but this was so good I couldn't help but continue eating it. Pure joygasms here. All in all, this restaurant serves great food at a reasonable price in a clean and casual setting. Service is friendly and the only qualm I'd have is the wait for the food, but understand that the wait is directly correlated to the quality and freshness of the food you're receiving. It may be a worthwhile service to customers to perhaps provide something small to munch on if there is an anticipated prolonged wait before delivery of their orders, like a piece of naan. If you're in a hurry, the build-your-own option looks like it'd be a bit quicker. I'd love to see some weekly specials or promotions that can generate more buzz for this place and get more people into the establishment.

Awesome A.

Yelp
great food ,great food ,they need to improve in service however their food is mind blowing .

Ethan T.

Yelp
I'm always a bit broke so it's relatively expensive for a teen, but really good food, nice staff, cool atmosphere, overall definitely recommend to try at least once!

Jessica T.

Yelp
Yummm A chipotle style set up where you have a large variety to choose from. There are bowls, pizzas, burritos or even platters. The last two times I've gotten the pizza with garlic naan as the base, tomato sauce, spicy chicken, along with peppers and onions as toppings. Everything comes together so well and the flavors just burst in your mouth. Recently I took a friend who got the naan burrito and honestly it was very filling and flavorful, he could only eat half of it. The chicken momo fried was a favorite because of how juicy and flavorful they were. I find that you can't go wrong with trying Spice 8 out. :)

Amber B.

Yelp
Always looks clean, staff is very friendly. Most of the time the food is great and top quality. A couple of slips in quality especially lately. Price is a little bit high. To feed my son and husband is almost $50. Some of the side items are extra instead of included which tends to run up my bill.

Kalynne M.

Yelp
Decided not have a Girl's Night In, and we were craving Indian food! Had delivery from Spice 8 (read great things on the FTW Foodies FB page) and it was delicious. Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala were both flavorful, could have used some heat but I suspect I could ask next time. The naan was fresh and fantastic too, large portion as well. Highly recommend!

Aastha G.

Yelp
Good food and service . Absolutely recommend this place . I tried Naan, lassi and biryani too. It was awesome.

Mayra Z.

Yelp
Best naan and hummus EVER. Host and waiter were very welcoming and took their time to explain to us the menu items. Very clean and ambience is nice. Will definitely come back!

Erin P.

Yelp
Delish. Fresh and so light. I let the guy helping me take most of control and it was so good! Highly recommend the tikka masala. Hot sauce is HOT. Have fun!!

Melissa C.

Yelp
No fresh cold dry no favor naan was little no sauce I would not recommend also It contains nuts and they really need to let people know that in case I'm not allergies I'm sure it's somewhere in the description very little but there needs to be a very clear warning that there's not included in the smell overall I would skip it it taste like chicken and rice that you can get it like a Chinese place didn't have any Indian flair to it whatsoever or get spice or flavor

Glo N.

Yelp
Warning: Always check your receipt when you pay. I just confronted a cashier for adding one dollar to each of my order. Sneaky sneaky!!!!!

Nina R.

Yelp
Fresh food New and different dishes Service was good Ambiance not so good but food worth going for

Linda L.

Yelp
Good food! I had the tikka masala and the spicy sauce in the side and it was almost the perfect level of spice of me. The dessert and drinks (mango lassi and kunefe) were very delicious as well. Service was fast and they really seemed to care about whether we liked everything we got. Nice people

Enjoli H.

Yelp
I wanted something different so I decided to try this place out. First of all I was conflicted about what I wanted to order. Also because I was really hungry, I decided to get 2 different things in case I didn't like what I ordered. I wound up getting the Better than Pizza (with chicken, tikka sauce, garlic naan and veggies). The second thing I ordered was the bowl with chicken, spicy biryani and the other things that come with it. OMG both are so awesome! I can't believe I waited so long to order this. My new spot!

LaRae G.

Yelp
Ordering was a bit confusing. Took a second to realize it's like a make-it-your-way kind of line, like chipotle. Menu isn't very directive. Ended up getting a super bowl, but wasn't really sure the differentiation between the different toppings (ie, choose one of these proteins, veggies, then toppings, etc.) Everything is all labeled the same and has metal coverings so ordering was a bit awkward as I tried to figure out what we would be good together and hoped for the best. Biryani rice has a kick to it, it's good. Paneer was good too. My husband liked the chicken tikka masala entree from the kitchen. Samosas are also good. Overall, the food is good, just wish I had a bit more direction so I didn't look like a deer in headlights while ordering. Thankfully it worked out okay. Only complaint is the menu/ordering set up.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Today was my first day trying Indian food & I ordered a super bowl that did not disappoint!
