"While dark gray exterior paint and a fenced-in front patio aren’t the most welcoming sights as you pull into this Cascade restaurant, you’re rewarded with bright Marley art, faux plant walls, and chill vibes inside the Caribbean-leaning eatery. If you’re coming for dinner, the mood can be bouncy (live music on Fridays), so pair the crispy jerk chicken egg rolls with a Purple Haze (gin, St. Germain, lime, simple syrup, and tonic) and get in formation. Coming in for a quieter lunch? Cool, just be sure to have water nearby because the spices in the Cajun salmon-topped Rasta Pasta will have your tastebuds doing the two-step." - demarco williams, nina reeder, jacinta howard

My family (10 of us) randomly decided to have dinner here on a Monday night, without reservations! And we loved it 😍 Yes we had to wait a bit to place our order; there were other parties there and only one waiter. Since we didn’t have a reservation and we were a large group, we expected a wait so we ordered drinks to entertain ourselves. But we were pleasantly surprised when our dishes came right out after our orders were placed. And the food was perfectly prepared. We had fried green tomatoes, salmon, oxtails, lobster Mac and cheese, pasta, lamb chops & more. It was all very delicious. I love that it in my neck of the woods, well-appointed interiors and the chef is actually Jamaican! We will definitely go again.

One word: FLAVOR! Everything was seasoned well and tasted great! The rum punch was strong and tasty. The jerk chicken egg rolls were delicious. I wanted the oxtail rasta pasta, but they were out. So I had chicken and shrimp instead. It was good. My partner had the turkey wing. He thoroughly enjoyed it. So much that he cleaned the bone. The slaw it comes with is spicy. The service was great. We were greeted immediately by an older gentleman and served by a nice young lady. We will be back.

Great atmosphere with music. Server was great and recommended us options as it was our first time. Jerk Chicken was spicy and juicy. Well made but I usually get a dry Jerk chicken with skin else where at Jamaican restaurants- here was quite wet and juicy. Throughly cooked and spicy but I do like the dryer version. Servings were large as I brought half it for dinner tonight. Overall a good experience for a party of 10. Tips are included as a service charge of 20%. You can easily miss the restaurant as quite a few of us kept going in circles before we could find it- it’s a subtle grey building and Spice House is hidden and blends into the building. Maybe have a neon sign or that blinks or in a bright color. Maybe Bob Marley colors ?

Been here a number of times and I'm so disappointed that the quality of their beverages doesn't complement their great food. I asked for a Haitian Old Fashion this evening and the glass served was half full (with barely any ice) and SUPER sugary. The server was super polite but informed me that the only way to change/fix the drink was to upcharge me. I declined, knowing I had no choice but to pay for the unconsumed beverage. Be strategic about your choice of beverage here. Food was great, though!

Be on the lookout when you drive by because you might miss it! It was pretty empty when we went in. Tee was very helpful and gave great drink suggestions. I ordered the crab cakes, tropical seafood paradise, sweet plantain, and oxtail. The crab cakes were good but they were more like dumplings. The seafood paradise was amazing. The oxtail was good, but a small portion. My biggest issue was the fact that there was a 20% service charge. Upon asking it was the tip. Mind you, our party was only two people. I'm used to that for larger parties. I was a bit offput by that. I think it wasn't necessary for a party of two.

The server Tootie was great. The food was not up to par. My Rasta Pasta with Chicken Breast was salty, and soupy…. When asked about it the server said”it’s a little thin”… however it could be sipped through a noodle. Water thin sauce is not what U expected. I paid almost $50 for food I could’ve made better for less. Great atmosphere though. Great music. Just a no on the food. Also pictured is my friend's water thin Rasta Pasta with shrimp.

There was one employee who was not welcoming at all upon entering this establishment. Although they opened at 11:00 am, when we arrived at 12:45pm, the chef just began making rice and peas to my disappointment. It was ready an hour later. I ordered the red snapper. The salt obliterated my palate and it was not only overcooked but it was not fresh. The black rice was tasty but salty. The oxtails were okay. Some were tender; however, the smaller pieces were overcooked and tough. Neosha was a good and attentive server. Spice House has other locations in Midtown and Buckhead that I’m willing to try. As for the Cascade location, I believe it should be closed.

This is a nice Caribbean low key spot. The ambiance is relaxing. The lights were low and the decore is sexy. The food was delicious and well portioned. Our waitress was amazing. She tended to the party I was with, and we didn't want for anything. I definitely recommend this chill, sexy establishment to everyone, especially those who love Caribbean food😊
