It was our first visit and it will not be our last. Dinner was delicious. We did not take advantage of the drinks. We will definitely be back to dry some more dishes and drinks. The manager, hostess, and server were all amazing and courteous.

Moe!!!! My favorite server! Your service made our time amazing! Very caring and considerate. The food was delicious. The coco bread dipped in curry is crazy. And those oxtails tho— so delicious. Actually delicious is not a strong enough word to describe our meals. Please come during happy hour to try the array of drinks. The bartender was superb and happy birthday girl!! At one point the wait staff was dancing to Beyoncé! It was all a whole vibe. Not one dollar of regret. Spice House, Kaleb and Siani will be back.

This place is nice. It’s pretty inside. Our waitress Lea, was great! I believe that was her name. Slim, lighter skinned, tall young lady. She was running everywhere. She was the bartender, the waitress, and the food runner. We had reservations for 3pm and got there around 2:30pm. They sat us and the games began. Delayed food, miscommunication between staff, available items becoming unavailable and then available again. My cousin didn’t get her food until we were leaving. 2hr wait for her food. Others in our party got their food just a little while before her. Lea was great! She was doing everything she could. She had little to no help. I would only go here for smaller groups. Everyone around us seem to be getting their food much faster. We would ask where the food was and get the same answer each time. In the end the reason was, because their changes made the order was pushed to the bottom.. that’s crazy. It seemed to be no preparation for this size party. Food was great, again, Lea was great.

Google
Y’all better come in here and ask for Leah! From her lovely personality to her mixology skills, she’ll set you right! Everyone who works here was such a lovely person to talk to, even the owner was cracking jokes. But let’s get into it, the food was cooked beautifully and cooked to serve. Chicken and oxtail was falling off the bone! Definitely need to come back and just keep trying everything

Google
First time trying this spot. I had the Jerk wings and black Haitian rice. The rice was decent. I hadn't eaten black rice in a very long time, but I feel like the last one i had was much better. The wings were ok. Nice size and all, but they weren't really jerk-n like that 😳. Service was good. The atmosphere was nice. I can see this place going up at night 🌙. Overall decent spot. Check um out if you're on 14th

I really appreciate how Spice House handled my previous concerns. After leaving a less-than-satisfactory review, they reached out promptly and went above and beyond to make things right. Their professionalism and genuine care for customer experience truly stood out. My follow-up visit was fantastic—the food was flavorful, the service attentive, and the atmosphere welcoming. Thank you for turning things around and showing what great customer service looks like!

My family and I have always dined at the Panola location; however, for my birthday dinner party, the Midtown location was suggested. The location is prime, and the building makes you feel like you are on an island having authentic cuisine! Everyone in my party was impressed and loved the food, service, and ambiance. Given the size (15) of my party, the server, "Mo," was stellar. She was attentive and made great food and drink suggestions! An added bonus for the evening was the live entertainment by Kameron Corvet, which was a treat! He has a beautiful voice. Overall, the vibe was lively, yet low-key. Last but not least was the visibility and interaction of the managers and/or owners/investors. I loved the down to earth atmosphere in an elevated space. We will certainly be back to this location soon! It's worth driving to in Atlanta traffic!

Google
Spice House is hands down one of my favorite restaurants now in Atlanta! This was my first time here. The service was exceptional—warm, welcoming, and professional. I especially want to shout out Stacey and Lay, who went above and beyond to make my visit feel special. Their energy was infectious and their attention to detail made the dining experience even better. Food: I had the oxtail which came with coconut rice (my fav) & peas, and cabbage. It was perfectly seasoned, & fall-off-the-bone tender. For my drink, I had the Expresso Martini! So yummy! Highly recommend!

Yelp
The vibe, food, and service were amazing. The bartender at our hotel recommended this spot. We drove 30 mins to get there and it was worth our time and gas. Unfortunately we didn't have a reservation; however, they made room for us at the bar. You have to pay $10 for parking (same price for valet), but it's worth the price of admission. The bartender, Rifa, was absolutely everything. She is awesome. The atmosphere was great. The music was awesome. We had the herk chicken egg rolls, the blackened chicken/salmon rasta pasta, and turkey creole. The food was flavorful, seasoned well, & amazing. The drinks were made well. Rifa didn't hold back. We would recommend this place 10x over. We will be back.

Yelp
I recall come to Spice House on the weeknights and sit at the bar. The food is always really good and the prices are typical for Elevate's Caribbean food. Sometimes on the weekends, they have events so check on their instagram to see if there is something going on because it may be hard to find seating if they are having an event.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday December 8th in a group of 10. EVERYONE loved their food, the drinks, and the live music. We've all been back since and hope to make it an annual event.

Yelp
We came here for happy hour and the wings were incredible. Very juicy and succulent wild definitely recommend. Prices were very affordable as well.

Yelp
Not the experience I expected. Came on a night to see Quinn & the Jukebox. Grown and Sex yet the experience was for young adults. Served out of plastic cups and pre-school silverware. However, the prices were grown up. The pricing was ridiculous for the portions. I want the best for this restaurant but they are way off base for the clientele they're trying to attract. I don't plan to spend $200 to drink out of plastic cups and served cold food. 1 bartender on a Saturday night is just poor management. Sorry. I won't be coming back!!!

Yelp
Spice House is a Gem! Reminded me of home! A little bit of island flare, with a Miami twist. The turkey leg with black rice is a must try!

Yelp
Nice spot with good food and drinks. We went on a Friday at 8pm and from what we were told it is less crowded on Fridays. Saturdays are crowded due to live band playing. This was date night for my man and I and we had a great time. The servers were attentive and the manager came over a chitchat with us which was nice. The drinks and food were great. What more can you ask for? I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday and everything was amazing! My party and I enjoyed the atmosphere, food, DJ and oh how can I forget to mention the rum punch!!! Boy oh boy! It was our first visit and everyone wants to come back. Ms. Sharon, the manager is such a sweetheart!

Yelp
0 STARS! Terrible, to the price gouging business owners in Atlanta you should be ashamed. I was ripped off at spice house midtown. Paid 10$ to park 30$ for a fake concert, 150$ for overdone lamb chops and overpriced pasta with a20$ piece of unseasoned salmon. Holes in the seats, family dollar utensils and have the nerve to tax 20% gratuity. Stay away this place, other businesses don't charge you for your patronage. NEVER GOING BACK THERE OR TO ANY OF THESE MONEY HUNGRY SCAMMERS!!!

Yelp
While in town visiting Atlanta on a girls trip, my friends and I were referred to several eateries but Spice House won based off the menu. We were greeted immediately upon entry and advised that they don't serve alcohol at that particular location, which was okay for us. The menu was online and we eat selected something different. My meal was the snapper with black rice and pik aliz(not sure of the spelling). When I tell you that meal was BOMB!!! It had the right seasoning, crunch to the snapper as well as being moist on the inside. I also tried the appetizer of fried green tomatoes which was also delicious.

Yelp
First of all, the DJ( DJ Sings) was AWESOME on Thursday night. Played some great rnb vibes. The drinks were good and the hookah outside was good as well. Coming from Douglasville I will 100% come back.

Yelp
My sister celebrated her birthday here last week and we had a Great time, but there were some major hiccups from the restaurant that made our time here tarnished. This is why I rated 3 stars and I'll explain below. I hurried to the restaurant 30 minutes late and was surprised when the birthday girl and the group of 22 people were waiting outside, and crammed by the check-in counter at the front of the restaurant. It seems the restaurant forgot the reservation made weeks prior. Not only was the group inconvenienced, but they had to remove (2) smaller parties to make room...Who dropped the ball here? We were seated and the waiter was AMAZING! Really nice, professional guy and I can tell he has been a waiter for sometime as he had a unique system giving us a # for our orders due to the large size of the group. We began ordering drinks and appetizers and asked for the Hookah Girl... This may not be a total reflection of the restaurant but the Hookah girl is a joke! She never arrived after we asked for her 3xs' and then when she finally did arrive we were packing up to leave! Secondly, we flagged down another employee who I believe worked for Spice House and he said we couldn't order Hookah because they want to transition the area soon and Hookah may make us stay in the area too long....Remember, the restaurant seated us on a reservation 45 minutes late! We carried on and danced as the DJ was great, playing Maxie Priest, Beres Hammond...All the classics! When the appetizers arrived I was impressed on how they were plated. Only major hiccup was my sisters salad. There was a bug on the lettuce leaf. I don't believe they brought a new salad either. I think they just took the leaf off and gave her the same plate back... I'm not sure what happened in the kitchen but some of the salads were washed and others weren't. You can see the brown dirt on the leaves especially the pieces chopped by the lettuce core. This may be bagged salad, but please...Wash the salad! Some of my favorites were the Spring Rolls-Cut diagonal, and the Crab Cake. I was expecting 1 for $22 but to my surprise you get 2. They taste pretty good as well...Not Noble Fin or Del Frisco but passable...Not too much bread. When the main courses arrived everybody seemed to enjoy them! Mine was marginal...I ordered the salmon and asked it not too be over cooked and they literally burned the damn thing! The girl a few seats down had such a large piece that looked so succulent. Mine was cooked so dry it favored a piece of Tilapia or something like that. The mash was good and the asparagus was crispy and well seasoned. As we ate our main courses, this is when the pressure came from the restaurant to rush us out for their mistake.... They immediately began asking for dessert preferences where you can pick a chocolate cake or cheesecake with strawberry, mango, and I think peach topping.... I truly felt insulted when they brought the cheesecakes in To Go boxes ready to go after bringing everything else on china. When it was time to pay the bill it was a Fu**ing disaster! Apparently there is a menu which we ordered from that is $65 for a starter, main and dessert. Gratuity is 30% (Quite High) and included. To make a long story short, my sisters card was charged $1,700 yet we were also given separate receipts. Mine had all my items on it, and others just had drinks and appetizers while others solely had drinks.... There was no consistency and the waiters did appear to crack when they presented them to us as it would be a jigsaw puzzle to clean it up! Basically we were confused as hell! We paid the damn bill but the restaurant got over for sure. If the $1700 was the charge for the $65 menu, why did some of us have receipts for the menu itemized out? We still don't know how they did the breakdown but we paid it and left... The night was fun, but it could have been Amazing! I WOULD NOT suggest the restaurant however to anybody planning a birthday or any large event. They will forget the reservation and place pressure on you to eat and leave so they can continue with Sunday Funday. The bill will also be a mess! I will return but for Sunday Funday only as that seems to be the expertise here.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday around 1230. Nice chill r&b playing then around 1:30 the DJ came and turned it up a notch. A good mix of current and 90s hip hop n r&b. Ordered the cauliflower and Spice House Rolls to start. The cauliflower was really good with and without the sauce. I expected the jerk chicken in the roll to be shredded, but it was sliced. Still good but I prefer shredded. The French toast was great!!! I got it with the fried chicken instead of the jerk. The Oxtail and grits was amazing! The grits was perfect and the oxtail tender flavorful and juicy! The mimosas were great. But that "Put Ya Lighters Up" drink is a must! The chef came and checked on us to make sure we enjoyed everything, which we did. Our Waitress was also very attentive!

Yelp
This review is to just get you prepared for what you might experience. Not an end all be all but my last experience was really tough. My first experience was good. I'd bragged about it to my friends and when I tell you I was soooo embarrassed. My friends were super over it, hungry and unimpressed. I could see why it was completely empty. Liked: Liked: Liked: Liked: Liked: Liked: Liked: Liked: Food is delicious Jerk chicken Peas and rice Cabbage Oxtails Lobster tail Beautiful restaurant/vibe Disliked ! Disliked Disliked Disliked Disliked Disliked No manager on duty; so when they messed up they would not take the items off my bill. They Would not call the manager to get resolution and just tried to offer me "anything I wanted" from the menu instead of taking off what they didn't have (and it was a lot) on my bill. Incorrect menu Out of a lot of items. Both bar AND food. Wait staff not very communicative, especially as it relates to what the bar and kitchen does and does not have. They tired to serve me a completely different dish instead of forewarning me that what they had listed on the menu wasn't available. (Weird right) Xtra garlic butter sauce requested was like LARD. And had no salt/flavor. Overall experience. I'd have to only come here on a very calm patient day where I'm not that hungry and I have time to wait and be super flexible.

Yelp
This place was really good to me and I loved the drinks! I got the seafood dip and the chips were homemade, those were my favorite because there was soooo much flavor. Salmon was good but nothing super crazy to write home about. I wish i could remember her name, but my waitress was really nice and helpful. She even made suggestions. Space was big and had ample seating, good music which was nice!

Yelp
I honestly have nothing but good things to say about Spice House Midtown location. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but is quite vibe-y inside. Service is always top notch for me and my family and friends! Everything on the menu hits! My go-tos are the chicken and waffles, the Spice House Oxtail, and the jerk chicken egg rolls. Also, you can not leave without trying the rum punch!

Yelp
Disappointed. This place was recommended to me by a friend. I made reservations about a month ago for me and two other people. When we arrived the parking situation is five dollars for self park or $10 for valet even though it's the same parking lot. We went at noon and was one if the first customers there seems odd to me to pay for parking at noon. We were greeted and sat right away. I asked if we could sit on the patio and they said the patio wasn't open right now. It was such a pretty day why wouldn't it be open? Odd. Anyway, our server was fair, we asked for recommendations and she said everything is good. Didn't elaborate. When we ordered jerk chicken she said oh it's not ready yet. Huh? It's noon and you are a Caribbean restaurant and the jerk chicken isn't ready????? We asked how long it would be until it was ready. She went to check and said well we might be able to have chicken breasts ready but nothing else. We ordered the seafood dip, wasn't good. Way too much cheese and minimal flavor for $15. We also ordered jerk chicken salad, it was fair. A bit pricey, the salad was $12 and add chicken added another $8 and it wasn't even that good. The music was too loud, the service was fair, the food was fair, you have to pay for parking and the vibe was dead. There are lots of places in Atlanta to eat this wouldn't be one I would add to the list of must go's.

Yelp
Loved everything about my visit here. The moment we walked in we were greeted with warmth. Our table was ready in time for our reservation. There was no wait time. Drinks were made just right with the right amount of alcohol. I had the coco mojito and tried the desaline which is similar to an old fashioned. Both drinks were delicious Had the jerk egg rolls to start. They were so good! I had the oxtails and subbed the rice with the black rice. My only complaint is that I wish they had given more black rice. The plate was presented well but rice could have been portioned out a little more. I didn't care for the cabbage that came on the side. The Rasta pasta was very delicious. More meat could have been given. Didn't have room for dessert. Also wish this location had hookah and the vibes I see on IG. We didn't know so next time we will Try another location

Yelp
The parking is right next to the establishment and it's $10 valet or $5 to self park. The place is exhibited like a lounge slash after hours spot. The seating is limited to about 3 booths and small tables and couches. Then there is the Beautiful glass bar that houses some great Tropical drinks. The happy hour menu is 4-7 and they serve dinner til 9pm. I went for a work related team builder so I really didn't eat or drink. But every one says the Jerk Tacos and Espanadas were tasty. The location wasn't packed at all except for my colleagues socializing and sliding around. They have other locations too and I heard from my college that the Lithonia location is a lot more live. The bar waitress also made me a special alcohol free Seltzer with Grapefruit juice and it was refreshing since I'm on my 7 day detox

Ra Shawna M.

Yelp
The food is good, service not so much! On a whim we decided to go for dinner. Upon arrival we were told that there was a $10 cover charge because they were having a live band. It's not about the money, but we came to eat, not listen to the band. When we decided that we would leave and go somewhere else, we were offered a seat on the patio. Worse Decision! You're forgotten about on the patio. The table was dirty, had to ask for it to be wiped down, Food, drinks, and hookah took forever. It took so long for the bill, we left the table and walked inside to see what the problem was. They say they were having a system issue. Communication would have been nice before we had to come inside. Atlanta has the worse customer service and it's evident that because the automatic gratuity is placed on your bill, they don't care!

Walter L.

Yelp
Food was pretty good, service was horrible. If they have a live band, don't let them seat you in the back outside. Our waitress was horrible, she never check on us, and left us outside for over 30 mins without saying a word. When we finally just walk to the front to see what taken so long for our bill. She said "my bad the system was down. "No accountability, and still expected 18% Gratuity for horrible services... lol

Yelp
Food was amazing!! I love the beautiful greenery ambiance, nice music playing and the service was great 10/10 for me fasure.

Yelp
Key takeaways: - Free parking lot - Hookah Service - Great live music on Friday night - Mostly a grown and sexy crowd (35plus) - Fun for a girls night or cut date - Food was nothing to rave about Came here on a Friday night. There was a live singer who was killing it. There was no space to sit inside because of the entertainment but there was seating on the patio. The atmosphere is nice because it has a fun vibe! If you are coming here to hang with friends and have a nice chill yet fun night, this is a great spot. However if you are coming for the food..... Think twice. They were out of the snapper so I just ordered apps. I waited 40 min for cold food that had good flavor. While the flavor was good I was still pretty disappointed. It wasn't anything that blew my mind. The images of the dishes here looked so good so my expectations were high. I would come again with friends for the live music and vibes but if I'm craving an amazing meal...... I'll pass.

Yelp
Review based solely on grabbing a drink at the bar. The place was super empty and chill when I visited. Nice interior and exterior. Staff was friendly and bar tender was a sweetheart. Just popped in for a drink. I can't remember the name of it but it was super tasty. Will update review once I go back for food!

Yelp
This new location of Spice House is amazing! We had excellent service. The food was amazing. We were greeted with a free mimosa when we arrived to our table. I ordered the Spice House omelette with jerk chicken and it was absolutely delicious! It came with a side of grits with this incredible Cajun sauce. The grits were creamy and simply phenomenal! My friend ordered the Spice House breakfast. It came with potatoes, 2 eggs, and chicken sausage. She loved it. We also ordered banana fritters that tasted like banana pancakes but they were so good! It came with a raspberry purée and it complimented the banana fritters perfectly. I would highly recommend checking out this new restaurant if you are in the area.

Yelp
Came in for lunch and the food and service was amazinggg. The jerk egg rolls and the salmon Rasta pasta was soooooo good. I can't wait to come back ! Ask for Dornalee.

Yelp
It was just OK. The fried Turkey that I ordered was dry. I was disappointed needless to say. The mango lemonade was delicious.

Yelp
We were headed back home which is over an hour and a half away when we decided we wanted Jamaican food for dinner. The determining factor for us was as follows: if we can find parking, we'll stay. If not, we're going home. Well, were able to park and valet was an option. The restaurant rating was an 83(B) which made me a little hesitant considering I'm a health professional. We arrived during the transition from brunch to dinner. As a result, we decided to have a few drinks and appetizers. The food was delicious and our server/bartender was very attentive which made our visit here even more memorable. I recommend this place if you aren't on a budget. Two meals, two appetizers, a glass of Cabernet, Red stripe, Hennessy Mimosa and mimosa was an easy $148.

Nosh T.

Yelp
I ordered the red snapper and black rice. Both were PHENOMENAL. Although the rice could've come out a little hotter, the red snapper came to the table steaming, which I loved. The red snapper was HUGE & seasoned to perfection, so it definitely was worth the price. I also ordered the Tropical Long Island drink. I felt it could've been a lot stronger. That was probably my only true disappointment of the night...oh and the pikliz may be a minor thing, but they weren't good at all. Overall, I enjoyed it and will be back in the future.

Yelp
I've been to both the midtown and cascade locations. Pros of the midtown location are the following it is more spacious than the cascade location. Nicer ambience , more parking (although valet begins at a certain time). Nicer staff. Now to the cons for both locations. The food honestly is not as good as I would expect. I'm Haitian so I know good authentic Haitian food and their "black rice and piklez isn't it. At both locations the black rice is hard and doesn't carry that authentic black mushroom taste. The jerk chicken egg Rolls aren't that great either ..the cabbage inside is a little on the sour side and has more of a vinegar taste. Finally the Rasta pasta is ok; however the oxtail were tough and tasteless and lacked in that fall off the bone tenderness. I'm Sure there is room for improvement; So hopefully they will Improve.

Yelp
Came out for my bday Friday evening out with friends. Didn't have a reservation but they were able to accommodate my group. On this Friday they had a show occurring that they charge $10 a head for. I did not eat my own meal but had the rum punch and island gal drinks. The jerk wings were good. The egg rolls were ok but a bit hard. The vibes were super cool. Good for groups up to prob 8.

Yelp
Spice House is a pretty good option for Caribbean food in Atlanta ... I'm not really a fan of the majority of other ones i've been to in Atlanta to be honest ... Generally speaking, the Caribbean food scene here in Atlanta is subpar/non existent if you ask me ... Coming from NYC, Toronto, and DC my expectations are high because i've had some of my best Caribbean food experiences in these cities ( so good) ... but anyways back to spice house, so far i've had the jerk chicken, the jerk egg rolls, and the oxtails and i haven't been disappointed as of yet ... Their oxtails are the best ones i've tried in Atlanta by far. Great portion size, tons of flavor, and most importantly to me ... the oxtails consisted of more lean meat than fat ... depending on where you go in Atlanta, the oxtails consist of all fat, and gristle ( yuck ) Not to mention, their drinks are really good!!! The ambience is nice too... Very green, and it gives earthy vibes as soon as you walk in ... every one that works there too is all smiles, and is very nice ... their service is good as well!!!
google avatar

Kim P.

Yelp
yeah... extremely good food. I will definitely be coming back. I'm a Jamaican native, and another guest was Haitian, the food was highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. the oxtail was a hit at the table, we ordered a few main dishes to sample, including the Griot, Brussels, lamb, and turkey wings, everyone loved their dish, and it didn't skimp on the spice. try any of their authentic Caribbean dishes, I'm sure it won't disappoint. this might have become my new fave Caribbean spot to eat. also helped that their kinda low key, so the restaurant wasn't crowded. they have brunches over the weekend so I'm sure those may be more packed, but the servers were extremely attentive. it was the waiter's first day so she was accompanied by who seems to be a manager, and he was extremely attentive. 10/10 experience. if I had to rate the top three dishes, I'd say the oxtail, griot, and the jerk turkey wings.

Yelp
one of the best places in Atlanta. great customer service. I would definitely recommend it

Yelp
Cool outdoor patio vibe. Good music, good service. I enjoyed the crap dip as an appetizer. Drinks made me feel like I was on an island far away from COVID. Will be back.

Yelp
food was really good. One of the highlights was definitely the customer service received from Liyah she took her time helping me pick the best item to try on the menu. She was very sweet, very professional, all in all great spirit the ambiance was the icing on the cake definitely recommend and if you get Lliyah you won't be disappointed

Yelp
I had high hopes, man. I didn't wanna do this but I wish somebody would've did it for me. Smh 1. Parking: There's $10 valet in a parking lot that's designed in a way where you can literally just pull up and park yourself...like I had literally pulled in and passed easily accessible parking spots. When we were leaving we were literally standing in line for valet ARMS LENGTH from our cars. The fake luxury has to stop, Atlanta. Leave it up to these restaurants to just over do it. 2. Customer Service : We get seated and it takes forever for our waitress to come by. (The girl that greeted me was really nice though) There was literally ONE other table in there. They were a big party but clearly had been there for a while and were situated. So, we order chicken and waffles. It takes nearly 40 minutes for CHICKEN AND WAFFLES to come out. There's still only ONE table in there at this time, and they had gotten their food prior to us even ordering our drinks. Our waitress didn't check on us while we were waiting on our food. She didn't reassure us, she didn't check on it in the kitchen, nothing. What are you doing? As someone who's worked in the service industry that bothered me because do you know how easy it is to provide great customer service? You quite literally don't even have to think hard about it. Common courtesy. As a good waitress you are literally anticipating the needs of your guests. You see that food didn't come out for 40 minutes and you didn't think to check your kitchen or stop by and even acknowledge the fact that you noticed we hadn't gotten our food??? At least fake it, dang. I would like to add the manager on duty was also not attentive at all. Cause when your server drops the ball with attending their table that's when you step in and do damage control at the VERY LEAST. Cause you should be active on your floor whether it's good or bad. Whether it's one table or one HUNDRED. You didn't notice 1/2 of the tables in your whole establishment were sitting without their food for nearly 40 minutes? What are YOU doing? Atlanta is so lost when it comes to customer service. They don't even attempt to provide great experience in their establishments. 3. The Food: We both ordered the chicken and waffles. The food wasn't bad at all. It was good and served its purpose. The fried chicken was good but regular. You could get better elsewhere fasho. The waffle was also regular. It had a hint of cinnamon which I did like. The waffle was cooked to the perfect softness but IT WASNT HOT!!! How you take 40 minutes to cook a waffle and 3 chickens wings and it's not hot???? Wtf was YALL doin??? 4. The Drinks: We ordered our drinks soon after being seated...when we were finally greeted, ya know. We both got a "Tropical Long Island" and wasn't nothin tropical about that damn island. Maybe Long Island, New York. Neither one of us drink in a regular basis so it doesn't take much for us to get a buzz...especially on an EMPTY stomach. Anyway, ask me if we got a buzz? Ok moving on. Bonus: the interior was cute but everything was just cheap. Even the tables. Cheap silverware wrapped in paper towels was the first thing I noticed. Chile anyway. Not bad to try. Just don't expect too too much. Idk maybe we went on an off day. Anyway, all of that with the gratuity being automatic.

Yelp
Checked out this spot today for brunch. I've heard great things about this place but in my opinion it was just ok. I am only critiquing the brunch food. It wasn't anything extraordinary but it also wasn't bad. I may go back and try dinner.

Yelp
Food was good and so was mimosa. They only get 4 stars because the DJ wasn't set up at all, and the house music wasn't turning the crowd up

Yelp
Good brunch vibes, but the bottomless mimosas stop at a certain time and they don't tell you even if it's 10min before you order. The oxtail Rasta Pasta you may be a little disappointed because the meat is not shredded and you probably get 4 small bones of meat. DO NOT ORDER THE HOOKAH ITS $50... yep $50 and it's the regular $25/$35 hookah taste...

Yelp
I'm visiting Atlanta for the weekend and came across this gem of a place! The outside was very appealing and we were excited to eat! - Parking was $5 to self park or $10 for valet We went on a Saturday around 2:00 and they were offering brunch until 4:00. All of the food was amazing! Between our group we ordered -seafood dip - spice house egg rolls -Rasta Pasta -Oxtail and Grits -saltfish -jerk chicken and waffles -fried chicken and waffles -Negrils French Toast -2 mimosa pitchers - 2 spiced coffees Our total bill was only $220 which was great for the amount of things we got. The service was wonderful from the time we got seated the hostess was extremely informative, the ambiance was extremely classy. We loved that soca and dancehall music was playing the entire time. I would Absolutely recommend this place and we may even be back for dinner it was so good!

Yelp
My best friend and I wanted to go to brunch on Sunday. After looking for places that weren't going to be super crowded, we came across Spice House Midtown. I'd driven by a few weeks ago and saw it was just opening, so I knew I had to try them soon. We made a reservation on Open Table, but it wasn't really necessary as the restaurant was pretty empty when we entered. When we walked in, the DJ had the music bumping and it seemed like a nice little vibe! After a brief wait, a hostess came and to seat us. We sat in a back area at a two-top. Upon seating, we noticed the table was super wobbly, so we asked our server if we could move to an adjacent table. We moved and that table was wobbly too! Our server got a napkin and placed it under one of the legs, which helped reduce the wobbling. After looking at the menu and all the great food, we decided on the shrimp and grits and the chicken and waffles. One thing I didn't like was that the chicken and waffles on the main website menu showed whole chicken pieces (like a leg/wing/etc.) and a standard waffle. The brunch menu that you scan in restaurant describes four mini waffles with four chicken nuggets on top. Major difference! (It seems there were other differences between the two menus as well.) I'd had my mind set on chicken and waffles, so I went with it anyway. Our food arrived and everything looked good. My bestie's shrimp and grits were reallyyyy good. The grits were super flavorful and whoever cooked it, cooked all the "grit" out of it lol. You had to eat them with a spoon as they were more liquid than you expect. I've never had such smooth grits...they were different than typical grits, but not bad at all. I enjoyed them so much I ordered a side. My chicken and waffles were good, pretty standard, although I was kinda mad at the literal chicken nuggets smh lol. But I really enjoyed the raspberry compote on the side. It was a nice tartness to the sweetness of the syrup. I would have preferred whole chicken/waffles though. Overall, I enjoyed Spice House. I'd definitely go back to try other food options and some of their cocktails. Oh, and also the music...the DJ was fire!

Yelp
The female bartender (sorry forgot name but starts with 'Sh' was great! She was very nice, friendly and awesome service. Once our party was seated our server was also good. I had the turkey wings and buffalo cauliflower (appetizer) and both were delicious. Some in our party had the Oxtails and said they were also good. I do hate to say one person in our party said they would not recommend the crab cakes as they had more of an imitation crab taste. I am allergic so cannot vouch for that. I do like this location set-up for parking and inside space better than some other Spice Houses I have visited.

Yelp
Brunch with Bae Where do I start... This spot was everything. The ambiance and the decor was very nice and inviting. We ordered a few dishes that had been suggested by one of their chef's, Chef Von. We had the Spice Eggrolls, LJ Shrimp and grits and Chicken and waffles. The mimosas and rum punch was delicious. The hospitality was great and the waitress was always readily available. They also had a DJ on the patio. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Lol ordered a coco mojito and it didn't look like it did on the picture I saw on there site and the manager Jenny said there alcohol sales are final lol didn't touch it but to jennys defense she did have professional and attempted to fix the drink but they need a new bartender. ‍ I think this place has potential just new greeters at the door

Yelp
We left another restaurant and came here for brunch hoping for a better experience, and it definitely was! The service was great and we were greeted immediately with great energy. I forgot our server's name (she had a short hair cut) but she was AMAZING! She explained the drinks and menu in detail. The chef even came out with our meals and greeted us. My friend's jerk chicken was a little over cooked, and they gave her a whole new meal to go... top tier service. The music was great (DJ even took our song requests lol) and the atmosphere was comfortable and we even danced a little. It's hard to find good service and food in Atlanta, but Spice House definitely exceeded my expectations. I would 100% recommend!

Yelp
I came where with coworkers (party of 9) and the service was great. The southern belle was strong enough and not too sweat. The egg rolls were great! We ordered more of those. The Rasta pasta was also very good and spicy. If you don't like spicy, I wouldn't recommend it but it was just right to me. The service was good too, at the bar and at the table. We went on a Thursday but I'm looking forward to going on the weekend to try the brunch. It always looks packed on the weekend.

Yelp
We went to the location on 14th street in midtown. The place could use a major update and good cleaning. It's old and small and nothing seems updated . We arrived at 530 and we sat on the patio and could not enjoy our food meals due to flies. The hookah bar was getting set up and the smoke was unpleasant. Nothing about the patio was comfortable. The food was underwhelming. We ordered the crab cake appetizer. A grilled shrimp salad with a side of fried Brussels and a fried chicken plate with cabbage and Mac n cheese. Nothing about any of the food was Caribbean. The crab cakes had very little Crab meat. The fried chicken was over fried and too salty ,the Brussels were fried to burnt and inedible. The salad was served with full leaf and sloppy with grilled shrimp on the side that had way too little flavor. This meal with nothing but water to drink cost us $100. When we got home we notice the table side payment system added double gratuity! Beware. The place is overpriced for such low quality accommodations, atmosphere and food.
