Spice Trade opens in fall 2019 in Greenwood Village | Eater Denver

"Opening this fall in a 5,500-square-foot space at Orchard Road and South Yosemite Street, this new brewery is a collaboration with Yak & Yeti and local Indian restaurants. The project pairs a 15-barrel production brewery with a taproom, full kitchen and a patio, and will serve “globally inspired” street-food dishes alongside beers brewed and flavored with herbs and spices for a spicy, food-forward taproom experience." - Susan Stapleton

I know that I love Indian food. Have not find really great Indian food it’s so Americanized in America. Everything is so sweet, but this one is authentic as can be. It’s not sweet and it’s real Indian food.. I’ve really enjoyed it.!!!!!!! It’s affordable. It is a far best Indian food that I ever had in nowadays. Ghost by trade I love you guys food!!!

Subject: A Delicious and Utterly Baffling Experience The food here is absolutely 5-star, no question about it. I dream about the naan. However, I've just had one of the strangest and most confusing experiences of my life with this place. I live nearby and noticed tonight that despite Google saying it was closed, all the lights were on, the parking lot was full of cars, and the "Open" sign was clearly lit. I called them at 11:45 PM (more than two hours after their supposed 9:30 PM closing time) and they answered the phone! When I asked, they insisted they closed at 9:30 PM. I was so confused I just hung up. So, how do I rate this? Food: 5/5 - Truly excellent. Atmosphere: 4/5 - It's a smaller spot, not super fancy, but they've made it cozy and it has a great vibe. Service: 3/5 - I have to land here because while the food is amazing, the situation is just plain weird and suspicious. Are they open? Are they closed? Is it a secret after-hours club? Who knows! I'm leaving this review in the hopes of solving this hilarious mystery. Is it a glitch in the matrix? Or the most exclusive late-night spot in town? Whatever is happening, it's one of the weirdest restaurant encounters I've ever had. Where do I sign up?

Google
Found this place online and figured I would try it out. Went at 11:30 on a Friday morning trying to beat the lunch crowd. Didn't have to worry about that as there was no one elsel there. By the time we left at 1:00, maybe four other booths were taken. There was a nice selection of beers on tap. The place was nice with a huge seating area outside. One table was taken outside. Very open set-up like a sports bar. Ordered the honey chicken ($18) which was flavorful. Came in a small bowl, but there was plenty there to eat. Meat was a little tough, but still good. We also ordered sone Naan, but we never received that. Service was adequate. Food about the same and atmosphere was non-existant (nearly empty). All in all, very average and doubtful I will ever return.

Google
This is a phenomenal place to come visit and have top of the line beers, amazing food, great service, and a fun atmosphere! I ordered the Vienna Lager and they absolutely nailed the style. The Chai Milk stout is incredibly unique and totally wowed me! As well, the food was delicious, flavorful, and totally satisfying. If you’re in the area, come by Spice Trade

Google
I chose this place solely based on their rotating season menus. I am so happy I did. I went here back in February. The service was great as we got seated quickly even though the place was packed. They were doing a trivia night, which added to the fun. They had a great beer selection as well. I had the Poke, which was the best Poke I have ever had. I am from the PNW and can not find Poke that good here. I would highly recommend this dish. I would also recommend the adult tater tots. All in all, I would highly recommend this as a regular spot if you live in the area. If you don't live but are passing through, make this a stop.

Google
It's nice to find a brewery that doesn't just have IPAs. The fact that it's also a restaurant that serves Indian food makes this especially notable. They had a good range of beers on tap (the chai stout was very good) and a good amount of dishes that went from more typical staples to less commonly seen. The samosas and garlic cheese naan were both great. The makhani was very good; I got it medium spicy and there was spice present but it didn't overpower the other flavors of the dish (it honestly could have been a little spicier). The staff were kind and helpful. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again.

Google
Tandoori Shrimp and and chicken chilli was very very fabulous, and also my favorite beer is little umbrella which is a very good wheat beer. The servers are really friendly and do a good job. I highly recommend this place to anyone who like either Indian food or either good craft beers! Awesome place, 100% recommended.

Deanna G.

Google
We are regulars and enjoy the beer and food every time. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Yelp
This was a hidden gem! My group went here for lunch and service was quick. We tried the chicken and vegetable Momo steamed and fried and both were amazing. I don't know what the sauce is called that comes with the Momo's but it's addictive (and I would buy jars of it if they sold it!!) We also got the Tika masala and the biryani to share, which was plenty of food for four people. I also tried the Chai and got it with almond milk instead of regular milk. It was delicious and perfect for the cold weather.

Yelp
We love this spot for our area! Great food, good beer, good service. It's always lively and packed, and the wait staff do their best to be prompt! It's rare to find a brewery that has a legitimate restaurant, so this place is truly a gem!

Yelp
What a nice bunch of folks who work there. The patio is nice with a lot of shade. The blood orange beer is refreshing and tasty. We ordered saag paneer and honey chicken. All was great! Going back soon!

Yelp
Well, I was out for a drive to no where in particular... on a really beautiful Sunday afternoon. I stumbled across Spice Trade Brewing in the DTC. What a treat! I ordered wings and samosas with a beer... I'm from NYC, I didn't think Denver had much diversity in their food category... I was so wrong! Lovely patio, with outdoor fire pit and music... along with delicious food... must try for yourself! Everything was great, the sauces were my favorite, I asked for extra in my to go box PS... I think its a great place for a first date!! I saw a few in progress
google avatar

Andrea J.

Yelp
Came here for a little date night and dined on the patio. It was a little chilly, hoping they use the fire pit and other heaters when it's consistently chilly out. Loved the beer selection and had a flight as well as the beet salad. My partner had the spatzel and burger. My beet salad was lovely, I would love to have a goat cheese option as it's way better than feta in my Yelpy opinion. The burger was good, not out of this world and the spatzel was pretty good, just needed salt. Overall I like this place a lot, the food I've had here has been good, 8/10 pm execution and flavor, and love the vibes in general. Definitely will be a repeat customer and try through the menu to find out favorites.

Yelp
I'm giving this place five stars just on the appetizer platter alone. If everything else is as good as this, it would be worth 10 stars. The first bite I had was just an explosion the flavor. I got a shrimp that was deep-fried and covered with some delicious Indian spices. I asked for the hottest kind of hot but not Indian hot because I wasn't sure how hot that would be. The one I chose was just perfect for my taste. Then there are other battered vegetables and chicken and a Samosa and every single bite was scrumptious. I'm coming back for dinner! I wonder if they have a lunch buffet? Also, the guy was really nice who helped me.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to stop in for lunch! I love surprising friends with this brewery because there is usually a rotating menu and lots of great beer options. I have been hoping to try something from the rotating menu for a while, but for the last nine months it has been the same. That said, they have lunch specials that are $15 including a beer, which is why I keep returning. Good food for lunch at proper portions, amazing beer, and affordable enough to go to on a whim or to treat your friends! Service is friendly and patio seating has nice shade in the summer and igloos in the winter so we can always be outside. I love that about this place so much! You can take your dog on the patio, no problem.
google avatar

Yelp
Best brussel sprouts I've ever had in my life. The fried chicken sandwich really impressed me. The "adult tots" are not tater tots, they are hash brown lumps- do not get those. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere cannot be beat. Despite the high dollar signs on the sandwiches, I believe it's worth it for the quality and quantity you receive.

Yelp
I came to have a Friday afternoon drink. There is easy parking. I found a very friendly bartender. I ordered the Vino Rosso beer. It tastes like wine! I didn't try the food, but see that the menu rotates and they are on Mediterranean food in December 2024. The restaurant is bright and full of color. It would be a great place to eat.

Nathan S.

Yelp
First let's discuss the beer. It is delicious, it is also not the same bland Denver brewery beer, they have some outside the box ideas that are great. Second, the food: also just so good. My wife always says that I am not very adventurous, she said she is proud of me for trying this food, but it was so good, and pretty cheap for what you get too. As you can see, I do not leave a lot of reviews... in order to leave this review, I had to download an app and sign in, which is a lot of work... so know I mean that this place is greats

Yelp
Maybe some of the best wings I have ever had. So plumb and nicely crispy. The char sui sauce was fantastic. Loved the sweetness that usually goes with pork. Decent helping for 17.00. Such a fun place for beer and food!
google avatar

Yelp
Neat spot! We went here awhile back with some friends. The food and brews were great! Our waiter was incredibly attentive. We are due for a trip back!

Yelp
As other reviews have stated, the old Spice Trade Brewing is gone. Beers have the same names but are now terrible, fun vibe is gone, and all of the food you would associate with patios and beers is gone. The old staff was amazing and they're all gone now. please bring back the old Spice Trade. It was such a gem, now sadly gone and is a yak and yeti.

Byron E.

Yelp
This place was SO much better as a brewery with an amazing international/fusion kitchen. The food was up there with our favorites in the area. Asian combined with Mexican/Latin and an Americano twist. Plus solid brews and a nice vibe, and great patio for kids and pups. I would've rated it 6/5 before the "change". Now it's a branch of Yak & Yeti. We visited to give it a shot knowing we were getting an Indian meal. The food was great, the quality and flavor is what you'd expect from the other Y&Y restaurants. Beers were also good, just like before. Why the 2 stars? We sat on the patio (which was about 3/4 full on a Friday evening). The Service was horrendous. Over and over again we had to flag down a service. I don't think they actually came over unless we flagged them down. I saw other tables repeatedly going inside to get boxes and silverware, etc.... We had to wait a while after the food came to get silverware and wanted to order another round of beers, but they never came back. We actually paid a server that never visited our table, since our original server never came back. All said and done, if we're really craving Indian, we might consider giving it a shot again, hoping they'll eventually improve the service. But we won't consider going here for a happy hour or chill "brewery" experience. Previous chef, please open a new spot soon. We'll be waiting in line.

Yelp
We stopped by to cross paths with some friends, we were on our way somewhere, and we saw the food they had ordered on the table.... it looked DELICIOUS!!! We decided to come back a few hours later for dinner. We ordered multiple share foods. Lettuce wraps, adult tater tots, bao buns, the pretzel, ahi, etc. The food quality was fantastic. We say outside which was perfect, service was pretty good, she was very sweet, just running around a lot when we wanted to add things to our order. If I was rating it off music I would take it down to a 1 star because I HATE country music and would've liked to have not been subjected to it on such a lovely night! But food, service, and everything else was fantastic!

Yelp
The Spice Trade Brewery is the place to be on Friday nights! Hubby and I got there at 5:30 and it was hoppin. They have a big outside patio (dogs welcomed). Staff was friendly and helpful, food was good and drinks were great! I'd recommend going early.

Yelp
Where was this brewery this whole time! I frequent this area but this was my first time trying this brewery. What a Gem!!! The ambiance is truly lively and you feel like you are in Asia! The servers are so friendly and quick. We tried couple if their brews and everything was delicious. Our absolute favorites were sun temple, Jalapeño pilsner, butterbeer and mango passion pilsner! The most surprising find and added bonus was their food. We got their Jackfruit burger ( great Vegan option) and their Chicken burger and both were oh so delicious! I would 100% recommend trying this amazing brewer

Yelp
Poor service and now it's indian food. There are far better Indian restaurants minutes away. Very sad this change has occurred. Avoid.

Crystal P.

Yelp
Never Again!!! I use to love Spice Trade!! Now it's a sad shell of a place! Don't believe the 5 star reviews. They been paid clearly. Food is okay but nothing special, there so are many better options in the area. I have tried several times to give this place a chance. Every single time I have left feeling frustrated! Do not call yourself a brewery. Your menu is not even updated. And no one knows anything about your beers. What a disgrace because it use to have bomb food and vibe. Clearly new ownership doesn't have a clue what they are doing. We got a drink and it was horrible we sent it back and they still charged us for it. Waiter disappeared and had to hunt him down to even get our check. Service is a joke! They couldn't even refund us. No one even knew how. They had to give us cash which wasn't even the correct amount. I will never come back and I suggest everyone spend their money somewhere else.
google avatar

Hector B.

Yelp
I always love this place. The food is always amazing the matter what you eat. The service is always a hundred percent. And the atmosphere is simple bureau asian. What is not to love?!

George L.

Yelp
I don't know or care if this restaurant is under new ownership or not -- the fact is absolutely everything -- entire menu, food quality, staff, service -- is different (and much worse) from the prior, popular, beloved restaurant. It is a disgrace that they continue to operate under the same 'Spice Trade' name, which effectively tricks people into trying a completely different restaurant. The whole thing felt like a scam.
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
Totally worth the hype. They really delivered on atmosphere and quality of food. Everything was flavorful, colorful, and staff was kind pretty unassuming place from the outside considering that it sits in a commercial space, but it didn't seem to deter people from showing up and enjoying. Wish I could've come here closer to dinner so I could've enjoyed a beer outside of work.
google avatar

Yelp
Newly found spot even though I literally get my nails done around the corner! The name is deceptive and you don't expect there to be such an amazing variety of Indian food! There's a lovely patio outside and that's where we opted to sit. The service was great considering there were only two servers for about 12 people when we walked in. It looks like they allow dogs outside as well which is great. There's a fire pit area that seems fun. We did not order any alcoholic beverages but there's quite a range. On to the food ... I ordered the tandoori wings, garlic naan and chicken curry. I opted for medium since this was my first taste of their food but since I do like spicy food, I will definitely amp the spice up next time. The food was freshly made and the wings had a nice lime base. It was refreshing and a great start to the meal. The entrees come with rice as well. There was plenty in one serving and I took home enough for two more meals. The curry had a substantial amount of chicken in it and the naan was absolutely delicious and a wonderful compliment to the meal. The basmati rice was flavorful and cuts the heat of the curry down nicely (especially if you're not a fan of spicy food!). Overall a lovely little spot that I will visit again.
google avatar

Phillip L.

Yelp
I was hungry and thirsty. Both issues solved. Rotating menu so you might not get the same but the food was delicious. Atmosphere: place was packed and everyone was happy Beer: really broad variety of beers. I had several and was happy with all of them from IPA to barrel aged stout the beer was great. If I were a local then I'd be here often
google avatar

Holly Jo J.

Yelp
I drive by here every day now that I've returned to the office for work and finally popped in for a date night. They have a large outdoor patio with lots of seating, umbrellas, and a fire pit. There was a lot of open indoor seating but our weather was so nice we chose to sit outside. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. We both ordered beers that were rather good, an app, and 2 main dishes. The IPA was delicious and the hazy wasn't really hazy, but it was a good IPA nonetheless. The vegetable samosas were delicious although we anticipated it would come with some sort of dipping sauce. And my chicken tikka masala was one of the best I've had in Denver. The temperature and spice level were perfect for me (ordered medium). I will definitely be back for happy hours and to try the wings!
google avatar

Jenna S.

Yelp
Spice trade is not the same. We came here on a Sunday excited to have the our favorite food and beer...instead we found the kitchen has changed to an Indian restaurant. Food was tolerable. Service was not great either. Beer took forever to get delivered. Do not recommend coming here and we will not be back.
google avatar

Caitlin H.

Yelp
Have to agree with the other recent reviews, the food was not very good and they didn't have anything listed on the yelp. It's all Indian food from yak & yeti that seems like heated up left over buffet food... very dry meat. The patio is really nice and the beer is drinkable. I love that it's dog friendly but I won't ever come back here to eat but would come back to sit on the patio with the dogs and a beer.

Dylan Q.

Yelp
Came in for a couple of drinks on a Friday afternoon. I saw it was a brewery online but when I walked in I was surprised to see they served Indian food, very unique for sure. So I decided to get some naan and Masala as a snack. They knocked it out of the park with the food and my friend and I ended up getting chicken pakora and much more naan. The beer was just as good I was highly satisfied with each one and I like a wide range of flavors. On top of all of that the customer service was truly outstanding very kind and my almost empty beer and water was quickly replaced as was the food. We sat on the patio and it was a nice day and a refreshing view I'm definitely going to be coming back frequently.

Yelp
RIP to the best brewery/restaurant there ever was. Spice trade had a change in ownership recently and is not the same place as their 4 star average would have you believe. We went at 1pm on a sunny Sunday and the place was almost empty, understandably. They have a completely new menu featuring only traditional Indian foods and the service is certainly nothing to write home about. We spent our whole meal agonizing about what a tragedy it is to have lost one of our favorite spots. Spice trade was a unicorn, having excellent beer, food, and service. I think most of their customers will come expecting the OG spice trade and will be severely disappointed. I'll be surprised if this place makes it a year with their new ownership, hopefully a new place moves in soon to fill the void in my heart and stomach.

David A.

Yelp
What happened to Spice Trade in Greenwood Village? I set up a happy hour this afternoon (Wednesday February, 26th at 5pm) with the engineers and sales team that support me. When I arrived, the outdoor patio was empty when it's usually full with warm weather, it was 63 degrees outside. After we grabbed a table, we sat for 10+ minutes until I got up and tracked down the only server there (WE MISS SPICE TRADE and their service). We placed our drink order and then had to find the server to place our dinner, WTF. When the server "delivered our food" there were no napkins, utensils or plates. I had to track down the only server and when I asked, she said "you need napkins" sounding confused. Please don't. Don't waste your time, this isn't Spice Trade Brewery we loved and miss. It's an Indian restaurant.

Lana L.

Yelp
I don't know what these poor reviews are talking about. The staff is amazing, attentive and nice. The food is delicious. I did not enjoy the previous menu it was nasty. This is so much better. Also, the brewery is still there. Delicious!
google avatar

Kristi M.

Yelp
Our bartender/server was the highlight of our visit. His customer service was stellar. We were able to taste some samples of fun beers like the kimchi one and the pumpkin spice latte one! The food is a tad overpriced in my opinion ($2-4 too much per plate) We tried the shrimp toast, the ahi tuna crisps, and the Korean fried chicken sandwich. The shrimp toast was alright, the flavor of the ahi tuna was good, and the chicken sandwich was good but the sauce totally drenched the bottom bun so it was a fork and knife situation since the bun fell apart. It was fun to stop in! It's got plenty of parking out front and lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

Chase L.

Yelp
WTH happened to this place.. ... went there late last summer and food/service was exceptional. Decided to go into today and the menu had change and the beer was garbage. Also the wait staff completely changed. They said it was under new ownership.... Won't go back.
google avatar

Glen W.

Yelp
Super friendly staff! Great selection of beers. Really the only negative thing I can say is that the tables are super wobbly. Good food. The ranch aioli is amazing. Highly recommended!
google avatar

Pixie M.

Yelp
Have been wanting to stop in here for years and so glad I was finally in the right place at the right time! Super cute atmosphere, almost felt like we were in an outdoor marketplace. In the summer when the garage doors are open to their large patio, I bet this is an even more fun atmosphere. The beer choices aren't your standard flavor profiles, instead they offer an exotic flair with chai, Thai, and other spices and herbs. Like the beers, the menu has a range of fusion cuisine profiles. My favorite were the massive Adult Tater Tots. Super excited that I'll be in the area more often, and won't miss the chance to stop in more often.

Yelp
I came in the other day siince i heard they got rid of the garbage food truck food. This place got better! They offer the yak and yeti menu here, and the place just seems to be running better. Will for sure be back.

Yelp
My wife and I went for lunch at 1:00 on a warm summer Tuesday. The place was dead. Between the posted rules upon entry including a 2 hour table limit and the requirement of a credit card being held before you can order lunch, this might have been the most unwelcoming restaurant I've ever been to. When challenged about the ridiculous rules our server said, "I'm actually the bartender, and this is a bar." When I pointed out the three different lunch menus handed me, napkins and silverware, I was told, "actually we are a brewery that has food." It looked a lot like an empty restaurant that makes their own beer to me. My wife and I are in the Tech Center business district in business attire sitting down to have a $100+ beautiful lunch and their first interaction with me was to get my credit card so I don't hop the fence without paying and to make sure I know not to stick around too long? There were only five other patrons in the whole "place." Ridiculous! We had a fast app and beer and got out of there. The beer and food were fine but far from good enough to be treated with so little respect. Won't be back until they change their whole approach to customer service. To the owner: I have a choice where I spend my food dollars. There are other ways to move tables during busy hours and make sure tabs are paid. The amount of lost revenue through bad will far exceeds and losses incurred through an occasional slow table turnover or skipped tab. Every table on that deck should have been full. I don't think I'm the only one to not feel welcomed.
google avatar

Mark N.

Yelp
Decent brews, but it's the food that is the star here. Check out the Chinese pork dumplings. They are steamed and the pasta is perfect. The pork is super flavorful and then they top the whole dish with sesame and chili soy, grilled Gai Lan, fried garlic, scallions, and sesame seeds. Absolute flavor bomb! Also recommend the ahi tuna poke bowl with cucumber, edamame, pickled mushrooms, scallions, jalapeño, pickled pineapple, rice, furikake, and spicy aioli. Lots of good and different flavors that bring balance overall. A decent amount of tuna is always a plus. Service was great.

Candice C.

Yelp
It is no longer Spice Trade. We showed up and were caught off guard by this being a Yak and Yeti. The service was slow, the bartender didn't know how to make basic drinks, and the menu still says it has a lot of items that it doesn't. I don't think it was a good decision to change and to do it so abruptly was a sour taste from the beginning. Sadly, we won't be back.

Yelp
Spice Trade Brewery just never disappoints! The atmosphere is an amazing, perfect place to meet coworkers, friends and even a date! I would suggest going in the later hours just so its a bit quieter if you are going on a date. Their menu changes quite often but there are some entrees that have consistently stayed on including the Char Siu BBQ Pork sandwich! Its filled with well-seasoned pork and a refreshing Asian coleslaw. This past week, it looked like they shifted to a more Indian themed menu. Fun fact-- this is a sister restaurant/brewery to Yak and Yeti! So this was not at all surprising. We tried a few things from their menu including Curry Fries & Tikka Masala. Oh my gosh, the curry fries were amaaaazing especially with the Tikka Masala sauce. The Tikka Masala was definitely sweeter than I expected it to me but you can really taste the spices and ginger in it. Beers selection is always top notch, from a light ale to IPAs. They are currently releasing new beers every week for December!!!

Yelp
After driving by a few times, my fiancé and I decided to give this brewery a try for some beer and snacks. We came in on a Saturday afternoon- there were plenty of people but not terribly busy. We were greeted and seated right away. As you would expect from a brewery, the beer menu was quite extensive and had something for everyone. Since there were so many to choose from, we each decided to go with a flight. The beers came out shortly and we were pretty delighted with our choices. The Jalapeño Mexican Lager was very crisp with a nice kick. I was also a fan of the Little Umbrella and the Chardonnay barrel aged farmhouse ale. For food we got a pretzel to share and Korean chicken bites. The food came out in a timely manner and nice and hot and fresh. The pretzel was delicious and we especially loved the cheese. The chicken bites were very tasty and nice and crispy. Overall, we were very happy with our visit and we'll definitely be back. I can't wait to try more beers and the rest of the food menu looks tasty!

Dara B.

Yelp
Had an hour before a meeting and stopped here since it was right down the road. Food was amazing, service was friendly and good beer choices. I love the outdoor bazaar atmosphere that it gives off. Also was happy to find that they have a decaf chai. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Having a brewery right in the heart of DTC is such a welcome surprise, happy to have Spice Trade in our area! I've been a couple times now and absolutely adore their patio (and fact they have the igloos in the winter) and food. Even though beer is their main draw, I'm more a fan of their food than anything. Their fried pickles are more like thin pickle straws which I've never seen before! The char siu pork sandwich is amazing along with their poke, wonton dip and sweet potato waffle fries. It's so nice to have some food with ethnic flair at a brewery vs the standard burgers, pizza and what not. I've tried multiple beers and just haven't found my go to yet but I hope it happens one of these days. Family and dog friendly too!

Yelp
All I can say is: YUMM. Staff is friendly and accommodating, fast service, delicious food. We came back twice. They have some gluten sensitive option, which is always a plus. If you go on a Tuesday evening be aware that is their Trivia night and you most likely can't sit inside u less you reserved a table. They do have plenty of outside options though.

Yelp
Great beer that is brewed in house, the 32oz growler is my go to. The food is phenomenal every time I come here. My personal favorites are the appetizer platter, the garlic cheese naan, and the chicken ginger skewers.

Yelp
I really, really wanted to give this place a minimum of 3 stars but I just couldn't. I was recommended this place by a couple clients that frequent here regularly and they love it. I can see why, the place has a great vibe, its nice and open concept and has a great patio that was packed. If you come don't come alone unless you want to eat at the bar. I choose not to sit at the bar and take a table by the window since there wasn't room on the patio. The host was nice and took my drink order right away; a good start. But then I was sitting there waiting for my server to come take my order and they never did. I was close to the door to the patio so I did make eye contact and smiled trying to get their attention; they acknowledged me but never came over. I even heard a head server tell another they needed to take my order and a few others outside; he went outside but never came to my table. Beyond annoyed I went up to the bar where there were servers there sampling drinks and food and asked to place an order. I felt like I was asking for the world. They took my order and the food came out in a decent time. If I was rating this establishment solely on the food I would have given it 4 stars happily. I had the fried chicken sandwich with the adult tots and Brussels sprouts all were amazing and delish. The food will be the only reason I will give this place another chance. If you decide to go and I do encourage you just for the sake of the food don't go alone, go in a group.

Yelp
Overall, it is a nice spot with easy parking. Their outdoor space is dog friendly, and there are plenty of well behaved puppies at any given time. Spice Trade Brewery has other adult beverages besides beer so there is something for everyone. Didn't get to try their food but they have a nice menu with a good variety of options, and everything I saw looked pretty good. They are pretty serious about a 2 hours' reservation window so they will kindly let you know it's time to go when your time is up and you don't plan on ordering anything else :) Totally understandable but it was the first time when I actually saw the staff "enforcing" it. They do close a bit early for a brewery, in my opinion (9 pm Sunday - Thursday and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday) so something to keep in mind!

Yelp
Spice Trade always has great food and craft beer selections. They are always packed but we have never had to wait for a table without a reservation. We will continue to be regulars.

Yelp
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants. When we went a few weeks ago, had terrible service. We finally flagged somebody down after 30 minutes to take our order. Food was excellent, but only received one of our entrées, and our second was delivered to another table which they didn't realize for quite a period of time. As much as I enjoy the beer and the food, we won't return.
