SpiceBros serves fast-serve Indian food with a modern twist. It's a chain that originated from Quebec, and recently came to Toronto (located in Islington / Etobicoke area). The menu is small, but they offer a pretty good variety of ingredients to choose from (if you want to customize your own Bro Bowl). There are a good amount of vegetarian options, including 4 different vegetarian protein for the Bro Bowl (chickpeas masala, cauliflower, butter paneer, and paneer with spinach). I got the Bro Bowl with cauliflower, which comes nicely seasoned and charred with some crispy potatoes. For the mix-ins, I chose the beans salad (mixed beans with quinoa) and grilled vegetables (zucchini and carrots). Topping selection includes freshly chopped cucumber, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, corn, olives, etc. I asked for no sauce (not a fan of overly saucy food), and found it to already be flavourful without any sauce (especially the cauliflower and mixed beans & quinoa salad). This is also a good strategy for those who prefer their food to be non-spicy (to opt for the mild / non-spicy sauce options, or forego the sauce altogether). They were generous with the portion - it made for a pretty hefty bowl that I split into 2 meals. Very satisfying and delicious!
