Spiced Chinese Restaurant

I have mixed feelings for this restaurant. It has some unique and authentic dishes from Sichuan province of China, like hot pepper beef/lamb. It also has a wide selection of appetizer combo which is rarely seen from other Chinese restaurant s in the area. However they have been kept raising price to the point now it becomes quite expensive. Hot pepper lamb is 18.99, and rice cost 1.5 extra per person, in very small quantity, which is very expensive considering you can get a lamb hotpot from Boiling Point, another Chinese restaurant nearby, for 14.35, rice and tea included for free. Prepare to pay 50 dollars or more for two entries plus rice for a meal.

Update: the chef is back! Tastes back to normal. Will come again. It USED to be my fav until around a week ago I found the dishes are absolutely not tasted as before. Today I visit here again and it’s still different. Anybody else has the same feeling? I won’t come back a month later to see if anything improves. Really sad.

We love spicy food. Foods was ok. Only complaint is service could be better, waitress like angry birds, no smiles.

I ate there twice. The food is ok. But I love their appetizers. They have a fridge full of selections by the register. Since I like the appetizers more than their food I just stop by and get take out (of appetizers) instead of dining in. For $8.75 a box you can pick up to 3 items. I haven't experienced a problem until last night a waitress packed it for me. Went home and opened the box, only half full. Major boo because I live far. Some of the comments mentioned the service is and issue for them, I think I understand why now. I won't stop going to this place but I will keep an eye on my food or pick my server from now on. I know that doesn't sound very nice, but you will understand when you go home with a half filled food order 🤦‍♀️

Their food is good, specially you can handle spicy food. We really liked their friend yellow tail fish and pea vine with garlic sauteed. You can try this place, if your are looking for tasty spicy dishes. Food taste, my rating is 4/5. I would not recommend this place, if you have out of town guests. Place is little run down type. Interior decor, my rating 1/5. Service is ok, 3/5.

I love this place. They serve Sichuan style food. The place looks like a rundown place but their food is good. They are always quick serving the food. The restaurant is not super clean and always see random people walking inside the restaurant but the food they cook is awesome. If you can ignore everything around you and focus only on the food this is a great place to be, otherwise this is not a place for you. Alert: their food is super spicy.
