Asian cuisine was featured prominently. The Chinese dishes were excellent. However, the Thai offerings were average and seemed to have been intentionally adapted to suit international tastes. The prices were not average but rather high, as can be expected from a restaurant situated in a 5-star hotel with such a spectacular view.

My wife and I have been dining at Spices already multiple times and it has always been a pleasure. The creations are tasty and sufficient in size. The service has been attentive and friendly. Only watch out for us is that is can become rather noisy when fully booked out - and of course, choose a table next to the window and do not miss the view from the terrace 🗻

This Asian restaurant at the Bürgenstock Resort offers not only a refined dining experience but also breathtaking views over Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains. The Pad Thai we ordered was delicious—perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented. The crushed peanuts and lime added just the right touch of texture and brightness. Service was warm, attentive, and professional. Combined with the incredible scenery and luxurious setting, this place is definitely worth the CHF 100+ price. Highly recommended for a memorable culinary experience in the Swiss Alps.

This was just wonderful. The service, the food. We ordered the black peper beef with rice (I would say ask for it to be cooked well done), leeche and coconut ice cream (just tasted refreshing), yuzu umami drink (I can't believe I won't drink it again) 😭😭

Had breakfast here for 3 days while staying at the hotel , it had a great spread but would like to point out one person who gave us exceptional service and hospitality by Alice. She’s a keeper guys !

An Unforgettable Anniversary, Made Perfect by Michael! We chose to celebrate our anniversary at Spices Kitchen & Terrace, and the entire experience was nothing short of magical. While the stunning views from the Bürgenstock are a given, it was the human element that truly made our evening. The food was delicious, with authentic, vibrant flavours that delighted the palate. Every dish was beautifully presented and a testament to the kitchen's skill. However, the true highlight of our evening was our host, Michael. In a world where service can often feel rushed, Michael was a breath of fresh air. He was attentive without being intrusive, warm, and incredibly professional. He didn't just serve us; he hosted us. His hospitality was spectacular and genuinely top-notch, making us feel welcomed and truly special on our anniversary. We've dined at many fine restaurants, and Michael stands out as one of the very best hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you to the Spices team, and a huge, heartfelt thank you to Michael for making our anniversary dinner an unforgettable memory. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough.

Food is horrible. We've been to many fine dining restaurants and it's definitely a tourist trap. Food had NO spices whatsoever, was bland and the presentation was honestly diabolical. I have never seen something like this in my whole life. No amuse bouche, no table cloths, never exchanged cutlery, had to wait a long time to order wine and alcoholic drinks... First course was fried shrimps which were soggy and they just put a whole tube of mayonnaise on it. Edamame were also overcooked. If you live in Switzerland you could compare the food to Nooch. For the price you pay it's definitely not worth it. Safe your time and money and don't come.

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What truly made the experience stand out was the wonderful service from Adlira. She was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. Her friendly attitude and attention to detail made us feel so welcome and cared for.
