The new owners truly impressed us with delicious flavors! My husband and I loved that we could enjoy the best of both worlds, Thai dishes and fresh sushi all in one spot! Our favorites: Hamachi Kama - crispy yellowtail collar Spicy Scallop Nigiri Suzuki Nigiri — the sushi chef killed it! Kung Pao Shrimp — flavorful with the right amount of heat The Drunken Noodles came out sizzling hot, and while I do wish there was a bit more sauce, the flavor was definitely there. I saw reviews saying the noodles were “bland,” but I have to disagree. The flavor’s solid, just needs a touch more sauce to bring it home.

Google
Clean and easy going eatery with small bar in small strip mall. The vegetables dishes were better than expect. The Pod Thai was disappointment, tasted like catchup and too wet, too sour, too sweet. Better try the Thai curry noodle instead which had much better texture and favors. So it's hit and miss, Pod Thai is not good here. Here are two better dishes if you don't mind they been vegetables based: The yushan Eggplant has great favor and great texture, the eggplants were nice purple and lightly crispy while inside soft just it should be. Buddha's Feast is another good choice. Great sauce complement the fired tofu and mixed of vegs.

This place was amazing! The food was delicious and the portions were beyond generous. The server was very polite and attentive. I highly recommend this spot!

Have been coming here for years and always love it! The new owners are amazing, the staff is always polite & the remodel looks fantastic as well, it brings new life to the whole place. The menu has also gotten a lot of updates recently & a personal (new) favorite was the Tuna Tower.

Moved to Aurora from Orlando, FL. I'm slowly trying to find some good eats places to later frequent. This place will be on my list. Had the Peanut Curry noodles, Eel nagiri, and fried shumai. All were great! They also have my favorite plum wine. They have several East Asian options. Cute spot, decent portion and prices.

“An outstanding sushi experience from start to finish! Every dish was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel truly valued. Impeccable service, delicious food, and a relaxing atmosphere—this place is a gem. Highly recommended!”

Google
Always thought South Park Hill to be a desert for Asian food, but was pleasantly surprised by the local favorite Spicy Thai and Sushi. Despite the inconspicuous appearance, the Thai food and sushi here were as tasty as many other more notable Thai restaurants and sushi places in town. Besides these, their Chinese entrees were also quite good. Certainly a hidden gem for the neighborhood and worth a try when you are around next time. It is right by Dang Soft Serve Ice Cream.

Yelp
After a museum day with the nephew, and niece we were hungry. Family recommended this place as they have ate here before. Order (5) different order's of sushi, an order of fried rice, and miso soup. Everything was delicious and fresh.

Yelp
I'm so torn on how to review my visit at Spicy Thai II a few days ago. Service for sure 5 stars. Food : sushi I would give 3.5, cheese Rangoons 5 stars and then my entre was not what I completely expected. I got Kung Pao Chicken , but got it with steak instead. I would give this dish 1 star. It's not at all like the Kung Paos I've had before. It was tasted like creamy peanut butter as the sauce which was way way way too much. Not sure if it's supposed to taste like that , but I couldn't finish it. I wouldn't let this stop me from going back because of a poor choice on my end.

Yelp
I always grab my lunch to go speedy service. Amazing food. Generous portion sizes. Super friendly staff.

Yelp
Ordered some sushi and sashimi with sake just to relax a bit before heading home. Good food and service. Atmosphere is nice and quiet. Will bring my kids next time, they have boba drinks.

Brittany E.

Yelp
Ordered pad Thai and the green curry both with chicken. Right away we both thought the color of the food was really off. The pad Thai was a strange pale pink color and the green curry looked mostly like cream. We figured we would give it a shot anyways. The chicken tasted way off, very chewy and weird. The flavor of both dishes was just off. We literally packed it all back up and took it back to the restaurant. This is the first time I have ever driven back to a restaurant to request a refund, luckily they did accommodate that considering we brought all of the food back. Definitely would not recommend this place.

Yelp
It's not Thai at all, it's Chinese adding basil ugh Orders basil fried rice suggy Chinese style not jasmine Thai

Yelp
Great food and service! Quiet and delicious! Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Great looking restaurant! Food was great and service was exceptional as well. The ambiance with the new touch ups make this place a great place to eat and go on dates. 10/10 recommend Sesame Tofu and Jalapeño steak.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious lunch today while visiting family from out of town! I tried hot sake for the first time and can't wait to get it again! My husband had the Fried Rice which is one of his favorites! I love curries so I tried the Panang Curry with tofu, medium spicy. It's probably one of the best curries I've had anywhere!!! Will definitely be back next time we're in town!

Yelp
Oh how I miss Spicy Thai... Not sure when the sale took place but this place has gone down hill. It's not the food, still delicious it's everything else. I used to brag about this being the best kept secret unless you lived in the neighborhood, service was great, the food delicious and it was a nice quiet place to go. I took some friends there and no greeting when you walked in. The front 1/2 of the restaurant where a small bar was is like blocked off, like it's now the employee break room. We take a seat and the waitress asks if we want something to drink, she comes back and everything we asked for they don't have so reorder. She takes our food order and then brings us our cocktails, we've been seated now for like 30 mins, kinda long to only have 1 beer each but I haven't seen her before so maybe she's new and just getting used to things. Anyway brings our food, sushi is delicious, but that's it, doesn't check on us at all. We are almost done she's brings the check and says "we're closing" no thank you for coming, no after dinner conversation no more cocktails just a polite can you leave now. So 3 starts because I really liked the old Spicy Thai and the sushi was good but the ambience and service of the new one sucks.

Yelp
Great food and service. We love this place and usually order takeout once a month. The staff is friendly, and the food is good and reasonably priced.

Yelp
We've given the sushi another two tries since the last review and I'm sorry to say that we'll never order sushi from this place again. The fish is NOT fresh. For the amount of money you pay for sushi, it should taste fresh, enjoyable, delicious. This last time everything tasted fishy: the hamachi, the crab, all of it. Calling it a disappointment is an understatement. I think we're finally done with getting food from Spicy Thai II. After over a decade of being a regular customer this makes me very sad. :(

Madison L.

Yelp
Great food and service. Our server was so friendly and our noodle dishes were delicious. Definitely give it a try!

Laura L.

Yelp
The food is awesome; I ordered the spicy salmon roll, and it was delicious. Additionally, the environment is better than the last time I visited, and the service is better too. I'll definitely be back to try more!

Yelp
This restaurant is one of the worst places we have been in a long time. We went for lunch on a Friday at 1:30 PM. We were seated quickly, but that was the only good thing. First, we tried to order drinks, but the waitress said they didn't have the beer we wanted and we should order some thing else. Then, she said that she was wrong and brought us the original beer anyway. There was only one waitress and a gentleman helping clearly did not know what he was doing. When he came to take our order, he said " I don't really know what I'm doing." We had to write down our order ourselves on the notepad. Food was all bland and tasted like sweetened ketchup - no depth or character. In my mind, the test of a Thai restaurant is PadThai. There's was terrible, soupy, and just had soggy noodles. We really want to support this local restaurant, but it was terrible.

T B.

Yelp
Cheese wontons were frozen and then heated up. The wait staff got both of our orders wrong and the only thing shittier than then food was my friend shitting himself for the rest of the night and next morning. The food had zero flavor and I was worried about the meat being undercooked. Straight up the asian food station at my college dorm was better than this by miles. Would never go here again so many better places in the denver area.

Yelp
We ordered delivery and the food was great! I was going to meet the guy downstairs at the hotel but they brought it up just before I was heading down. The fellow was very friendly though!
google avatar

Sophie D.

Yelp
This place is my go to for lunch. They have good quality sushi and the people who work there are super friendly and efficient. I've never had a bad experience here and whenever I come I think about the next time I'll be back.

Yelp
Very happy to say both locations have the same amazing food. Pot stickers sauce it 100% the best I have had and my 2 friends agreed. Seriously, main line it into my vains, so good. Tempora was so delicious with the pot stickers sauce. The tempora sweet was mouth watering. My friend said the beef and broccoli was really good too. Great space, great food, and great service.

Joseph C.

Yelp
The food was disappointing. The noodles were either overcooked or reheated as they were tough. I ordered the Drunken noodles which came very spicy. I advised the server that I couldn't eat this dish. I ordered the Pad Se Lew as advised by the server that this is the only dish that is not spicy. I had wanted Sesame chicken but the server advised that would also be very spicy. No whenever I have eaten at an ethnic restaurant, I am given a spice range to choose from. I was not offered that only to find out that everything on the menu is spicy and not adjustable. The server was nice but having to purchase two entrees due to the overly spiciness of my original order will keep me away from this place. The server did not offer to replace my entree. So disappointing for our first visit. We were the only customers in the restaurant between lunch and dinner so that should have been a clue to us.

Yelp
The greatest thing about this place is the service! We did not try the Japanese menu but I can attest that the Thia food is at best like a TV dinner. The rice was great! The spring rolls are far from fresh and the only thing that makes them eatable is the sauce. The sriracha beef tasted like it was marinaded in soy sauce for months. I did enjoy the broccoli that came with it. My husband ordered the Phad Thai and if a Thai restaurant can not get this dish right then it really does need me to write this review. I can honestly say I do not need to come back which is unfortunate since it is so close to our home and we love supporting our community.

Caleb K.

Yelp
Good food and service. Wide variety of options. More vegetables in the noodles would have been nice but overall a good experience!
google avatar

Casondra W.

Yelp
Favorite Thai food in Denver! Try their drunken noodles, panang or red curry, egg rolls and wontons! We've been ordering take out from here the last 10+ years and love their food and people! Thanks spicy Thai!
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite delivery spots; in fact, we've ordered pretty much weekly for about 6 years running! The food is always fresh and made to order. We've gotten a variety of items, including the soups, sushi, pad thai, apps, and vegetarian entrees. So lucky to have this place in our area!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely gross here. Run the other direction. Food is nasty. No wonder no one was eating here at 12:15 pm.
google avatar

Judi K.

Yelp
Always great food! Since the pandemic we have ordered take out from them and it always delivers. Hot and sour soup, my sushi cravings, and I honestly think green curry with chicken is delicious. Thank you for doing what you do.
google avatar

Marv B.

Yelp
Great food and atmosphere. The price was reasonable and the variety of food, we were able to find something for the picky eater among us. The service was great and timely. The food looked pleasing.yhr portions are large, so plan for leftovers

Yelp
Spicy Thai + Sushi Wow is a Park Hill staple. They're very unassuming in the Oneida shopping centers, one of the few OG's left after the remodel a few years ago. Just like a lot of Asian restaurants around Denver, you can order Thai or Japanese (and some Americanized Chinese dishes, too) and it all comes together like NBD. Better than a buffet since it's made to order but it feels like a buffet with all of the options. Get a sushi roll, some noodles, and crab wontons if you're in the mood for some deep fried cream cheese. I won't turn them down... just sayin'. Delivery was quick and contact-free.

Yelp
I thought I had ordered from here before, but I guess not. I'm such a confused foodie, lol. Well, I just ordered delivery from here, and went for the Satay Chicken, Fried Sesame Balls (never even heard of these before!), and an order of Sashimi. For starters, the order came really quick; with about 20 minutes to spare, I believe. Nice! Happily let a nice tip. The Satay Chicken was tasty. I'm used to it coming drenched in the peanut sauce (which I kind of actually like), but this came with the sauce on the side. No problem! It lets you control how much sauce you use or don't use. The sashimi was deliciously fresh, and cut really thick! It came 7 pieces for about 10 bucks, and what a bargain for the amount you get. Definitely the best bargain on delivery sashimi that I've come across so far. The Fried Sesame Balls actually turned out to be pretty delicious as well. They were freshly fried, and filled with a semi-sweet red bean filling. Not bland, but not too sweet for those who aren't crazy about sweets. A nice way to finish off the meal. Adding this place to my list of favorite delivery spots :)

Yelp
Ehh. Stopped by for dinner one evening to escape the rain while cruising through the Park Hill Farm & Flea Market. Service was slow; it took them about 20 minutes to come get our order after seating us and even my toddler getting impatient and starting to fuss didn't bring anyone to the table. The table next to us was seated after we were and somehow got their food first. We were not asked, for any of our dishes, how spicy we would like them and consequently our pad Thai had zero spice. It tasted like noodles tossed in ketchup. Once we ordered, food came out decently fast but I don't think anyone came to check on us while we were eating. Everything was a bit mediocre and I don't know that I would try sushi here given how inattentive they seemed.

Ryan C.

Yelp
The owner just accosted me for parking in his restaurant's parking lot and told me I couldn't park there. I told him I was running across the street to grab a friend and then we would be heading inside to sit at their bar, but he yelled at me and told me to leave right away. Horribly unpleasant person!

Yelp
We ordered delivery and it came a lot faster than predicted which was great. We had a lot of food for the price! This delivered to our hotel room. The meal came also with an egg roll. Really Liked that even it's not a healthy thing, it was my favorite of the whole meal. The miso soup was still hot which I was happy about. The dumplings were good. Decent filling. The meals with chicken were ok, nothing spectacular but good. Good value!

Kelby N.

Yelp
The food wasn't good, no flavor to the noodle dishes. The service was awful. Won't be back
google avatar

Mikelle P.

Yelp
I've ordered delivery from Spicy Thai II many times. Typically I'm skeptical of restaurants that serve foods from multiple cultures (they have thai AND sushi), but this place is great! And it's perfect because I love sushi, but my husband doesn't, so I can get sushi and he gets Thai. Also, the Tropical Fried Rice is amazing!
google avatar

Dylan B.

Yelp
Very casual dining experience. Not very busy for lunch so we had quick service from our waitress that was super friendly. The food came out very quickly. I ordered the drunken noodle which was overly sweet and the chicken was a bit grisly. The overall flavor wasn't bad and the spice level was perfect. I just wouldn't rank it as my best Thai restaurant experience. The pad Thai was served with the same sweet flavoring and a pool of liquid in the bottom. Making the pad Thai almost a soup. Very different than the traditional pad Thai I am used to ordering. Overall, I wouldn't say the experience was bad but it wasn't great either. I would definitely come again if a friend wanted to return.

Shalomita S.

Yelp
So gross. They serve microwaved food. Do not recommend. Don't come here. Would leave 0 stars if I could.
google avatar

Megan H.

Yelp
Ordered pickup tonight and was VERY happy with my Green Curry with chicken! Large dinner portion with lots of chicken (a lot more red onion) and delicious curry. I will definitely order it again!

Jessica P.

Yelp
Mediocre. Pad Thai was genuinely not good. Sushi roll was ok. I won't be back probably.

Mini A.

Yelp
The food was bad. It wasn't bad bad, but it was bad. Pad Thai lacking any flavor except sweetness. The pad thai noodles were served basically in a soup, with none of the sauce actually sticking to the noodles. Broccoli tasted of freezer burn. I don't see how this restaurant is operating at all with this kind of food. Service was good though.
google avatar

Taylor S.

Yelp
I'm still on the hunt for the best Panang Curry on this side of town. So far, Spicy Thai II has delivered, like literally delivered, twice via GrubHub. Delivery was quick-ish for being only a mile away (45 minutes) and the food was tasty. Panang Curry was the first YAAASSS followed by the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. I mean, how can anything drunken be bad, amirite? Other supporting actors were the red curry and fried rice. I mean, yum. Have any Thai faves in the Park Hill hood that are a delivery must try? Holler! xo
google avatar

Leigh N.

Yelp
Drunken noodles were pretty good and I liked that they put a lot of tofu in there. Spring rolls were not great - very thick skins with not enough veggies inside. Egg drop soup was decent. Food was ready on time when I came to pick-up. Parking is convenient.
google avatar

naytsaha G.

Yelp
Amazing Dynamite Rolls food is always to die for can't get enough of your drive past you have to go in
google avatar

Brent C.

Yelp
Ordered a Basil Chicken plate and spicy tuna. The spicy tuna was great but the basil chicken had not basil! It was bok choy. I asked where the basil was and the server pointed a shredded of a bok choy and said there is a little bit of basil. I know what basil taste like and it had no basil. Matter of fact. If this is a so call Thai restaurant, this place botched up what a true basil chicken is. Service was great, Sushi wasnt bad. The so call Thai food was a joke.

Andrew A.

Yelp
This is my go to Asian cuisine place. I order here at least once every couple of weeks. My favorite is the peanut curry shrimp.
google avatar

Phillip R.

Yelp
Good food and prompt preparation. The cheap/thin paper bags aren't helping anyone or the environment.
google avatar

Nick S.

Yelp
Beef and shrimp Pad Thai are blaaaaahhh (if this was my first time experiencing Thai I would never get again) aka false advertisement. Taste like chili powder but tasteless...... spring rolls were ok though.
google avatar

Chris C.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places to go have some Asian food. I'm not a fan of sushi, but they have a good selection and my husband says it is very good. I had the Royal Chicken and he had the Basil chicken. Great flavor and the rice is always presented in the shape of a heart, which is very cute! The only gripe I have about this place is that they always bring out the entree about 30 seconds after they bring out your appetizer, so the food is not super hot by the time you get to it. They have good drinks and some sake to choose from, as well. I usually have a glass of wine, it's pretty cheap and not bad for the price. Service is very quick and the food is good. It's very convenient to Stapleton and is a hidden gem just off the beaten path. Well worth a quick drive, if you live in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Rovi D.

Yelp
NEVER coming back here. I haven't even eaten the food I ordered for pick up but the customer service alone is reason enough for me never to come back. First don't tell me "one second" while you are on a personal call. Second, If my order was wrong, tell me. Third don't tell me my order will be ready in 10 minutes and then make me wait 30 minutes. Fourth, don't disappear every time I try to get a status of my order. Finally - DO NOT say you have Thai Ice tea and it's in a can. Thai Ice tea should never be in a can when your a restaurant. FOOD = who cares at this point. LOCATION = sketchy. CUSTOMER SERVICE = NON-EXISTENT. Not even an apology for the long wait. **UPDATE** Food was mediocre at best. My Thai Hot Sour soup was horrible. The BBQ chicken was over cooked. And the "BBQ sauce" was a peanut sauce - WTF!!!
