We got some skewers, spicy fish fillet with tofu pudding, Chongqing style cold noodles and some other cold dishes. The broth that came with the skewers and the taste of the food were such a disappointment. It tasted just like a bunch of seasoning and MSG and water put together instead of well prepared broth with real meat/bones and was made with proper amount of time and effort like how it should be done. If you ever been to Chongqing/Szechuan, restaurants with this type of taste/quality will not survive. Spicy fish fillet with tofu pudding would be ok if it had more salt. Fish fillet was fresh enough, correct use of the chili pepper and Szechuan pepper and oil in seasoning, tofu pudding was correctly prepared. Yet it’s completely plain. The Chongqing style cold noodle was the only one thing that got the right flavor, sweet and sour and a bit spicy. Unfortunately the noodles were saggy and too loose, it’s obvious that it was pre made and had sat there for too long. Food portion was small, spent $50+ per person which was shocking lol…. I highly doubt that the business owner is treating this restaurant or it’s customers with respect..
