Spider Kelly's

This was an amazing experience. I learned something new today on my first adventure there. I love that the bartendees were approachable, kind hearted, helpful and not greedy. The atmosphere of the setting was like an urban playground. It had casual night life energy as well as lights, flashing lights, and highlighter images or colors within the club/bar for the neon light excitement.

Jasmine is an absolute gem behind the bar! She’s always so kind, welcoming, and inviting, making every visit feel like catching up with an old friend. She remembers our orders before we even ask, which makes the experience feel so personal and thoughtful. Paul also does a fantastic job keeping everything running smoothly while still engaging with customers and keeping the atmosphere upbeat. Between Jasmine’s exceptional service and Paul’s friendly presence, every visit here has been nothing short of amazing.

I got there early, before the rush. Pool tables are old, out of balance and bad action. But, the vodka tasted like vodka. And the music was fun. Seemed like the crowd, that grew over time, enjoyed themselves. It's a fun place, just don't expect competition pool, fun only. Long shots bend as much as you do after a night of drinking.

Drinks are meh, but what really stands out is the horrible awful music. Seriously they need to exponentially improve their DJ bookings. Why do all of their DJs switch the song after 45 seconds??? I was there on Saturday night and I did not hear one song from this decade. Not all of us want to hear the same 2000-2015 top hits.

I would give this place a ZERO if possible. I went there yesterday for drinks and food and was WRONGFULLY accused of "throwing a drink" into the air while waiting in line for the restroom. I didn't even have a drink in my hand while in line. There were even bartenders there that vouched for me and said I didn't do a single wrong thing. The bouncers assaulted me and when I told them to get their hands off of me because they're not cops, they didn't listen. Needless to say I will NEVER be going here again. They can rest assured that I will file criminal charges against those bouncers, and file a suit against Spider Kelly's with the district court.

Honestly mostly good staff and bouncers but not remembering if your tab is open when they take your card being a throw out able offense is ridiculous the one bartender needs some anger management

*Tater Tot Review Included* The happy hour menu has some pretty affordable prices of $4 beers and $6 tots. While they did try to make them “Totchos” the attempt fell a bit flat. The tots weren’t quite crispy enough to support the cheese and became soggy rapidly after being served. The flavors were good though, and if I ended up here again for a happy hour wouldn’t hesitate to order another

Very short about 40 bouncer was insanely rude to my friend and took both her id and her other cards on an obvious power trip. Felt very unsafe.

I'll be honest, I previously didn't even know Spider Kelly's served food. And I was pleasantly surprised to find they had exactly what I was craving this Sunday morning, a plate full of wings. Reasonably priced with a great happy hour deal, the plate came loaded with flavor. The wings were not really spicy so if you're looking for heat you might need to ask for more. A great companion of eats while watching the Browns upset the Ravens.

Depends on what you are going here for, it's can be great or a little too loud. Went for a happy hour and the energy in the room was perfect. Music wasn't too loud like some bars where you have to scream to talk to your guests. Drinks were reasonably priced for Happy Hour too. Only downside we had to wait about five minutes before a bartender came to us and to get refills too another 5 minutes while our drinks were empty. Staff was there (three bartenders I believe), but seemed preoccupied talking to each other/looking at something on their phone before they would make a full rotation from one side of the bar to the other.

The prices for Sundays are EXCELLENT!!! You can't beat that honestly. I will go back and check them out. Our waiter was good until the switch. It was busy because it was football Sunday. However, being greeted when walking in, clean restrooms, decent service and the nachos. I'll go back again!!!

This place is kind of grimy not gonna lie. Bartenders are super inconsistent. One charges more while the other charges less. Some put in glasses that are 20 oz while others use 12 oz while the prices remain the same. It has cool games but to play them it costs an arm and leg. This place preys on the mid 20 crowd to get to drunk to care which would explain why it still has business when there is literally nothing special this place has to offer other than TVs. Cool rubber duck machine though. Would come back just for that.

Wow, this place is dive-yyyyy. Came here for a work event and we were set up in the room on the right with some shuffleboard, some pool tables and a few other video games. There was some catered food for us to munch on, which was super mediocre and tasteless and an open bar. The bar was surprisingly busy for a Wednesday night and just had a very dive-y/grungy feel to it. Service at the bar was ok given they were pretty busy, but it's not really my kind of place. Good for groups though if you're looking for something casual with games for entertainment.

Classic spot to hang out and grab drinks with friends. It's extremely busy on weekends as its large space and DJ will attract a rowdy crowd. But if you come during the week, you can comfortably find a spot at the bar and maybe even play some games like darts or pool. I think on Thursday's there is trivia?? I might have the date wrong, but I've been a few times and one of the days there was for sure trivia. If you come on Monday there is half off burgers, and i was very satisfied with the burger I got. Very juicy, very flavorful and there are plenty of toppings you can choose from. That paired with a full bar and large selection of taps, It's really hard not to have a good time... better enjoyed with friends

Love Kelly's it's a big spot!!! You can find an are for you and ya group easily. They even have a beer garden outside which has some great seats so you can get some sun and chat away with the wind blowing. The beer list is extensive which I love about the spot. Especially on days where the happy hour serve my pockets right. Never short of a bartender they're like little minions popping out the corner from every angle. The drinks are great as well whether it's a crafty cocktail or just a plain rail drink. A huge selection of games to play from ski ball to pool tables and much more.

Came here for a private work event this past Thursday and I was impressed by the attentiveness of the staff (who quickly picked up any empty plates or cups) along with the many games that were available for us to play. Apparently there is an outdoor rooftop area which I should have gone up to check out. There was a lot of catered food set up for all of us to eat, which were hot and fresh. My personal favorites? Pretzel (glistening and very bread-y, yum) and queso, Ceasar salad (good dressing), and THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. I wasn't super impressed with the breaded chicken or sliders, but they provided a nice "main course" for dinner. Overall, the food here is your standard bar food! My only problem is that it's a bit grungy in here, lol. It felt like things were a bit sticky. Fun time with co-workers. I would be glad to come back for another work happy hour! Sadly, I was only at the HH for an hour - otherwise, this would be a much longer review.

Terrible place to go. I was refused service, after waiting 5 minutes to be served. Only to be told that, I have a history of issues at this establishment. That claim was completely false. I asked for some explanation, to then only get no explanation. I typically go to this bar after I leave my local sports bar down the street, with at-least 5 other individuals who can attest to what I'm saying. They believe and so do I, that this is potentially racially motivated. This is very unfortunate.

More like Spider SMELLYS. Annoying crowd of people and extremely aggressive and rude staff. Smelly smelly smelly PU avoid at all cost !!!!

bouncers were kind, bartenders were kind. drinks were expensive for what we got. my friend got roofied by a man here though, so be mindful of potential issues with the demographic here. college aged men should be ignored, hard, unless you know them. even then I would recommend not accepting anything they touch. even then, a lot of men here wear their college march despite being middle aged, so look out for those types too.

The place is everything I wanted and more. First of all the line in was 45 minutes, a perfect amount of time to watch the 20 year old street rats run around like food just plopped to the floor. Once you enter, the music is the perfect level of uncomfortable loud yet not ear bursting. Just enough to not hear the person two feet from you! Plenty of standing room for those awkward looking around at nothing moments, and just enough space to bump into three people! Ten out of ten would recommend, only down side is the drinks are 12$ and not a reasonable 20$! They could be making a killing!

Iiiinteresting vibe. It doesn't feel the cleanest, especially when I can imagine they're churning the limited tables there the entire night, it's not fully cleaned up after each party and the chairs are not comfy. When my boyfriend and I tried to order drinks, there were several things mentioned unavailable straight off the bat - including a cocktail that had (a specific?) tequila, mentioned they were out of a specific tequila - and this was 8pm on a Saturday and a certain beer (I think Modelo) I will say I liked their blueberry lemonade drink! and it looked like everyone there was having fun, so make of that what you will.

We were out and about for cinco de Mayo and after a horrible experience at the ballroom we made our way to the rooftop of spider Kelly's. The bartender wasn't quite set up but made us drinks and was super sweet. We had a great time with some drinks and apps.

Came in here for the first time. The games are awesome, pool tables, and good vibes. Lots of tvs around to watch your favorite game. Service is quick but the wings could be better.

Bitch bartender takes 3 years to make a jaegerbomb i was bouta fall asleep. And they use that as an excuse to cut me off and it turns out it's premixed too.

Can't speak for the weekends or late nights, but I don't think that's their main business anyway. Truly they shine on Tuesdays for trivia. If you love trivia and want to play by a host who seems like he does not love trivia, this is the place for you. Food is better than the normal bar food I'd expect.

Went out to Spider Kelly's last night and had a lot of fun. The mac n cheese bites were amazing! I also had a bite of my friend's chicken sandwich and that was tasty too. The ranch they had with it was addicting. I kept on eating it with the mac n cheese. I honestly enjoyed the food more than the Orange Crush drink I had with Red Bull. We sat outside. I loved the aesthetic out there with the green shrubs surrounding the patio area. Lots of comfortable chairs and places to sit, and they had the Capitals playing. Bar area wasn't too crowded which was nice. Definitely a bar with a younger crowd. The inside was huge with a lot of fun games. We didn't play any, but I want to come back sometime and try it out. If you're in Clarendon going out, come here to play some games and order the mac n cheese bites!

Spider kelly's is a super fun place to hangout and drink! Their back patio is super fun when the weather is nice. I've only had food from there once, but it was yummy! Fried pickles are some of my favorites so I always order them when I see them! The nachos were awesome as well.

I really like spider Kelly's!!! I haven't gone enough during late late night, nor have I eaten there, but it's a great place to go for a casual night. I play pool there with friends, or sit in the beer garden to watch the game, and I'm really impressed with it! Prices are reasonable so it keeps me coming back! Only thing I would say is that one time, the outside bartender was really stubborn about putting a certain game on one of the TV's because the Caps were playing so that game was on every TV in the beer garden despite at least 10 people requesting one TV to be changed to the nba Finals game. The bartender said she would have to get the entire bar's approval to change the channel and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing, so we had to find the manager and ask him. Other than that, love Spider Kelly's and recommend it highly

Hit up Spider Kelly's last Friday nite and it was so bomb!!! 8/19/22 baby, tore up the dance floor all nite, the DJ was very cool, played a lot of great hip hop hits! U know it! If u like to dance and have a good time then Spider Kelly's is the one for u! I just posted the video of me dancin, not sure if it uploaded yet....Get er doneeeee

Great spot for happy hour and games! The $6 apps and 1/2 off cocktails on Fridays from 4-7pm is a great deal. There are different deals every day of the week including the weekends! My hubby and I enjoyed the crispy fried balls of goey mac and cheese and ginormous pillowy soft pretzels with warm queso. Both apps were great! It's a bummer that the skillet mac and cheese isn't on happy hour with a smaller portion size. The lukewarm mac was swimming in dense clumpy cheese and lacked the creaminess that I was looking for. It's not worth paying the extra $3 off happy hour menu. I prefer the fried mac and cheese over the skillet - it's a better deal and wrapped up the mac and cheese to go. Of the cocktails on happy hour, the winter Ovi in Jamaica was my favorite. It tastes like a White Russian with rum, cream, and Kahlua. I prefer Kelly's Mojito with pomegranate liquor over the sugary Kentucky Fizz with Peach Snapps. Both cocktails were a sugar overload and only drank a few sips of them. Would come back to check out the Skeeball and basketball hoops with fried mac and cheese balls and pretzels!

Went on a Wednesday night, pretty dead but what do u expect on weeknight? Lol We decided to hangout at the beer garden, i think it's a pretty cool concept. Plenty of space and chairs to sit and enjoy a drink and food. Since this was our second bar for the night i only order a glass of Malbec . To.my surprise it was cold , Malbec is best served lower than room temperature, yes i know my wine and i can be a wine snob lol.. the music wasn't too loud, so u can hear each other without yelling.. they were playing some Latin music which had me move my hips while sitting.. Cant comment on the food since i didn't order any. Definitely will come back to chill at the beer garden again!

GO TO THE OUTSIDE BAR AND ASK FOR RAFI. He knows how to make his drinks and is just a cool ass bartender. 10/10.

Spider Kelly's has been the go to place for 4 years now. They have an amazing location and very friendly staff that make the whole experience wonderful. The owner is a really nice, hardworking guy that try's to make the experience great for everyone. The back patio is the place to be when it's nice out. The arcade games in the back offer comic relief or a competitive edge.

TERRIBLE ! Roaches everywhere! No alcohol in our drinks! Bartender called me smelly! Line took way too long and bouncer had no idea what he was doing! they were serving 16 year olds!!!!!! should get their liquor license taken away!!!!! avoid at all cost

Spider Kelly's is epicenter of bro-land. If you're in your early 20s, like wearing your hat backwards, drink, and want to watch the game, this seems like the place to be. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the place, but it definitely caters to a certain crowd. They have a beer garden section in the back, outside. Although it was crowded, my group was able to find a table luckily. It wasn't wall to wall people which was nice. There are several TVs in the beer garden, and they still serve food in that area which is nice. I don't drink beer, so can't comment on that. As for the food, it's your typical unhealthy fried bar food. Okay to have once in awhile, but wouldn't recommend a regular consumption of such food. We got the fried mac'n'cheese balls, boneless buffalo wings, soft pretzel, mozzarella sticks, and I got a grilled chicken sandwich with a side of grilled vegetables. Mac'n'cheese balls are really good. How could they not be good?! It's fried mac'n'cheese. The rest of the food was pretty typical. I don't think most people come here for the food if I had to guess. They also have some games, such as pool, basketball, and several others. Use to come here more often when I first moved to the area, but this place just isn't my scene anymore.

I went to Spider Kelly's for the first time last night & I was blatantly discriminated against. The entire time I was at Spider Kelly's, I was sober. Literally drinking water the whole time. Because I'm in the adult entertainment industry, someone recognized me & I was kicked out of the bar for being "drunk". I respectfully asked what their reasoning was for thinking I was drunk & they could not give me an explanation. This is pure discrimination & it's disgusting. I was minding my own business (sober as hell), trying to get quarters to play skee-ball & 2 bouncers came up to me & told me I needed to leave. I will absolutely never go here again & neither will anyone I know. It's 2021, it's mind blowing to me that some people are so judgmental & unaccepting.

A good place for happy hour and a pitcher of beer goes for $15. Not too crowded for finding bar seating and you don't have to fight your way up to the bar to order a drink which is always a plus :)

I met a friend here on a Friday after work around 6pm for some drinks and to watch a Wizards game. There was plenty of seating at the bar and the surrounding tables so we had our choice of where to settle down. We decided to make camp on one of the sofas with a small table to accompany it -- and what a comfortable choice that was! The bartender/waiter came and server us right away. He was very friendly and welcoming, definitely helped get happy hour off to a good start. He made some recommendations for drinks based on the happy hour deals -- there are a handful of $6 cocktails, $5 rails, and $5 apps. He checked back with us multiple times throughout the evening and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We ordered a number of the apps: the nachos, loaded tater tots, and fried pickles. Overall the food was pretty good -- not great but good. I wish the fried pickles were cut a little thicker and were seasoned a bit less with old bay. They almost tasted more like old bay pickle chips than fried pickles. The portion size was great! We ordered three of the $5 apps and were definitely full by the end of the night. There's definitely enough food to share amongst a small group. The environment is really nice -- lively but not rowdy. There is a game room attached to the bar as well as shuffle board tables and tv's peppered all over the spot. We enjoyed ourselves at this bar and I would definitely return!

Spider Kelly's has always been a happening night life spot. Although a very young crowd, it's a great hang out spot for anyone who's interested in playing games. The fried Mac and cheese balls and cocktails will surprise you too.

We came in on Sunday and had the best bartending experience in Arlington ever! Connie is the reason we will be back 100% EXCEPT.... They need to have Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka! We had a friend visiting and knew that this bar carried Deep Eddy Vodka but was HIGHLY disappointed when they didn't have Lemon flavor. Again, Connie was outstanding and wish she worked at every bar we went to!

Had happy hour food. Wings, tacos, and Mac cheese balls. Tacos were good. Wings had a sauce that wasn't quite buffalo but were good. Drink was OK. No server, but food was timely. Prices were reasonable.

Service to get an expensive ass drink 1/10. Waiting to get served was fine, there was a lot of people. I asked for 3 drinks for me and my 2 friends. The bar tender asked for my card before she gave me the drinks. She charged me for an extra drink. Then she made one of the drinks wrong. So I get that she was busy serving other people, but when I was trying to get her attention to make the drink right for my friend she would ignore me, tried for about 30 min and my friend was just like I'll just drink it. Took the loss on the extra drink charge. I feel like they do that a lot bc it's easy to get away with so just be careful and wait till you get your drinks to pay.

The drinks aren't anything over the moon but it's a fun place to hangout. There is pool tables and can be chill or rowdy depending on the night.

Spidey Kelly's is quite possibly the worst bar around the area. Not only do the bartenders have significant attitude, with regulars they only attend to, but they also have no requirement for who they allow in. Bartenders are 1. Inattentive and 2. Have attitudes and 3. Significantly overcharge prices for no apparent reason (give the blonde and young discount) Do not go to this bar. Veto at all costs, there are so many other bars that are much better. Update: there are roaches. And noted occurrences of men bringing in knives to cut people. Avoid.

Came on a rainy Saturday early night. Like the atmosphere and concept. Laid back spot with full bar, and some games to play. I got a cider, while my friends got some mixed drinks. I will say, the mixed drinks weren't great and tasted watered down. Music was good. Service was good. Nothing spectacular here, but a good place to chill with friends!

Handsy security guards. They do not care about the well being of their patrons. The food and atmosphere is nice. But I cannot return from fear of being beat up!

Friend puked in the corner and we didn't even get kicked out. 10/10 will be boozing here again

Best neighborhood bar in Arlington! Always a welcoming place, never too crowded but but just enough people around for a good time! Beer garden is still open after COVID which is great. food is really good as well- recommend the Nachos and fries as a bar snack! John and his staff are the best!!!

Standard bar The private reservable lounge is alright, with pool tables and arcade machines, but it's a cramped space, not many places to just hang out and eat, and lighting is poor. Drinks are standard and service is decent, but the food definitely falls short. Except for their super oily and greasy foods, everything else is dry, flavorless, and practically inedible.

Maybe one of the best night places to have chocolate chip cookies and milk on this planet! Totally recommend it.

This place is bro city. Unless you are a year or two out of college, if you come here, you're going to have a bad time. I'm forced to go here occasionally because its one of a handful of places in Arlington that has pool tables, but I avoid it like the plague during peak weekend hours. The pool tables are in total disrepair, as are the cues. Also the food stinks. Fun fact, Alex Ovechkin comes here sometimes and hangs out in a private room, so if you're in the private room with Ovechkin it is a 5 star experience.

Just read Emily's review. We are in the adult industry as well and I doubt the door guy recognized us but ironically we were kicked out as well for being "too drunk" when we just got there. You know there's something wrong with a place when it has more 1 star reviews than 5 star reviews. Reminds me of that old movie roadhouse where idiots are running the place and the owner has no clue why he is losing money. The door guy and manager are complete clowns and have no business being in the hospitality business

The security guards tackled me to the ground, pulled my hair, and accused me of assaulting them. They jumped at the chance to attack me and kick me out of the bar as soon as I walked out of the restroom as if they were attacking a criminal. They hire the worst bouncers and don't do anything when these bouncers assault innocent people. When I told the bouncer not to put his hands on me, he responded with "I was in the military I can do whatever I want" so if you wanna get assaulted somewhere, head on over here!! The overpriced drinks and rude staff don't make the place any better :)

great atmosphere fun place to hang out and grab a beer very good food. the owner Nick is a great guy, I like to patronize local businesses' where owners truly care, this is one.

Have gone to Spiders for some time and I have to say they never disappoint. From the games in the back to all the pool tables there is always something to do. I also got to enjoy some gluten free tatter tots while spending time with friends. GLUTEN FREE

Love this place!!!! It feels like my best friend's basement .... Spider Kelly's have lounge seating, darts, shuffle board, pool tables, skeeball, basketball, some punching machine, and digital gambling games that you get vouchers for and actually win cash! They have a dj Thursday-Saturdays The beer garden is so like.....I'm on vacation vibes! There is a bomb ass selfie wall, Tvs, full service bar, cute and friendly bartenders, slushy drinks with alcohol in them of course (it's a bar) and lots of seating!!! Highly recommend
