Spiga - Review - Upper East Side - New York - The Infatuation

"Upper West Side trattoria Spiga has expanded to the Upper East Side. The menu at its second location features things like lobster ravioli, chicken Milanese, and an ice cream sundae for two." - Willa Moore

This spot is a great new UES spot and has the potential to be a really busy one. Food is better than most nyc spots that also attract a younger crowd. Highly recommend!

Spiga is an absolute gem on the Upper East Side! From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere is chic and elegant, making it perfect for a special night out or a stylish dinner with friends. The food was phenomenal. We indulged in signature Roman dishes like carciofi alla giuda, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, and pollo alla romana, and every bite was bursting with authentic flavor. It’s clear that a lot of care and passion goes into each dish. Spiga has quickly become a new favorite—this is Italian dining done right. Highly recommend!

From the moment you step inside, you can tell this Italian restaurant takes tradition seriously. The soft lighting and warm atmosphere create the perfect balance of cozy and elegant. My favorite dish was the lobster ravioli, and the tiramisu for dessert was just perfect. With warm, attentive service, this place is an easy favorite—truly a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian flavors.

Absolutely loved dinner at Spiga! The neighborhood has been missing a gem like this and I can’t wait to go back. We loved the focaccia, meatballs, and the pastas were delicious. With good music and drinks flowing it is a hot new spot.

Official first night of Spiga opening and all is well! Burrata appetizer amazing with lovely pesto and fresh tomatoes. Oxtail with pickled mushrooms, gravy and mashed potatoes superb. Service spectacular, friendly, professional and attentive- Matteo and Enrico. It is a beautiful classy place to go with family, friends and solo to sit at the bar.

5 stars only begins to describe the wonderful experience I had at Spiga, but it doesn’t stop there. From start to finish, I can say everything was absolutely flawless all around. It is beautiful inside and sure to impress. I highly recommend Spiga for any occasion.

Although only open for one week, Spiga served us a terrific meal. We had crispy frito misto with roasted endive, eggplant Parmesan, lamb chops and a pistachio ice cream. Staff was excited to welcome us. Atmosphere is modern chic. The menu is long enough to please most diners.

Very authentic, typical and super tasty menu! It’s hard to find an italian restaurant that actually tastes like Italy in NYC but this is one of them. Intimate, cozy and elegant New York City atmosphere PERFECT for a date
