Spill The Beans Coffee and Bagels

So enthusiastic about this place opening up in PB! PB needed a good bagel shop!!! And great coffee too! Got the Blondie Mocha for coffee and it was delicious. My friend loved her chai too. I got the Bacon & White Cheddar bagel with Red Chili and Garlic cream cheese— the cream cheese was very spicy, but I loved it! Highly recommend trying it out for bagels or coffee. Can’t wait to go back.

Don't like the added service fee $... makes me not wanna tip the nice staff :/ good food though. I also think if you're gonna charge a service fee by law, you should have to tell the customer I found this out by the receipt later I was like dang it's more expensive than I thought.

We were so excited to try this new spot out and sadly, the first visit will be our last. From the moment we walked up to order, Kaylee had a poor attitude, gave one word responses to our questions, and had an undertone that she was annoyed. After paying, I realize $15 for two coffees was too expensive, seeing that the menu had 12oz coffees listed at $5.50. I go back to ask about that and she charged us $6.75 for a 12oz vanilla latte and $7 for my 16oz plus a surcharge. She was rude and obviously annoyed that I’d ask what I was charged. Apparently Kaylee is a manager there which is surprising based off her unprofessional and rude attitude.

Spill the Beans - Pacific Beach (Garnett Ave) Review This spot is an absolute gem! I stopped by for breakfast and had the San Dieggo Bacon Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, which was next-level delicious--perfectly toasted, packed with flavor, and exactly what you want in a solid breakfast sandwich. Later in the day, I saved the chia pudding/yogurt bowl with banana and pineapple topped with coconut, and it was the ideal light and refreshing afternoon treat. Great balance of texture and natural sweetness. But what really made the experience stand out? The vibes. They were playing wubby dubstep on good-quality speakers, and the staff was lightly grooving while working, making the whole atmosphere feel fun and energetic. Even waiting for my order was enjoyable. I'll definitely be back! -Evan

They just opened a week ago, but immediately have a forced 4% surcharge for ‘increasing cost, minimum wage and quality service.’ Pay your workers a fair wage, and *raise your prices* , don’t hide private taxes on the last page of your menu. How greedy can a restaurant be?! I will not return until the fee is removed.

Place is very well lit and clean, staff is super friendly, big problem is the bagels are terrible, it’s like eating rubber, also they do not take cash, I had to use my credit card for a $5.28 bagel, are you kidding me ! I wish them well, but I will not be going back !!!
