Location location location! In OB NOW! Good beans, sandos made to order, pastries and the most friendly and charming staff!!! Did I mention a drive thru and patio seating with charge stations for your equipment! Checks all the boxes! High high marks!

Google
Cute little coffee place. Just wanted to stop for a quick bite and a coffee to take down to the beach. As you can see they do not skimp on the cream cheese! We got an everything bagel and a Serrano Habanero I believe. Both very good bagels. They were a little chewy but we let the, sit in the bag on the drive to the beach so I'm guessing that's why. My latte was good and so was my Fiance's americano. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

My wife and I enjoyed an afternoon coffee date in Pacific Beach at Spill The Beans Coffee and Bagels. The energy of Spill the Beans matches Pacific Beach. We shared a Hot La Vida Mocha, a delightful afternoon treat. Their colorful art only adds to the welcoming environment, especially how they define the phrase "Pot Head." 😆 People had their laptops and enjoying a moment. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Why not, Pacific Beach has great weather. Parking in Pacific Beach is tricky. The paid lot just reduces stress. However, Spill the Beans Coffee loudly plays their music, a bit too loud. This was fun, and I look forward to another coffee date with my wife.

Google
So enthusiastic about this place opening up in PB! PB needed a good bagel shop!!! And great coffee too! Got the Blondie Mocha for coffee and it was delicious. My friend loved her chai too. I got the Bacon & White Cheddar bagel with Red Chili and Garlic cream cheese— the cream cheese was very spicy, but I loved it! Highly recommend trying it out for bagels or coffee. Can’t wait to go back.

Google
Had the San Dieggo and it was wonderful. Just the right amount of cheese, eggs and bacon. I added some sausage to mine. Perfect blend of yumminess. Super yumminess 🤤

Google
Bagels are not good, very rubbery, no flavor, hard to swallow. Presentation is very poor, it just doesn’t look like a good bagel. A shame because I was so excited to try a bagel spot out here on the west coast (I’m from the east coast) but I wouldn’t even consider this a bagel. Hopefully they can work on their recipe. Staff were great but product not so great.

Google
Had breakfast here this Sunday and it totally hit the spot. Spill the Beans has the best coffee and bagels in PB, no question. The bagels are fresh and full of flavor, and the coffee is always top-tier — smooth and strong without being bitter. Chill vibe, great service, and seriously good food. Easily one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. If you’re in PB and haven’t been, you’re missing out.

Google
idk why everyone is hating! Spill the beans is bomb. Good espresso & awesome breakfast sandos, tied together with a good vibe. Gluten free bread is wicked good! They Couldddd use a tasty in-house hot sauce (totally down to collab on that idea) to take things up a notch. Tapatio packs are fine but a solid hot sauce would take this puppy to 11.

Yelp
David is fabulous behind the counter. I would go over and over again just to have a professional interaction! And Causha has the brightest smile. You get the feeling that they have been hoping to see you all day, and then feed my soul. It's the best part of the day in PB. Just remember that it's a no-cash establishment, and it will be the best part of your day, too.

Yelp
Happened to be in the area and stumbled across this coffee+bagel place. I ordered the Sun-dried Tomatoes and Cheese bagel with shallot and chive cream and it was absolutely delightful and on par with today's bagel pricing. I also ordered the OTP cold-brew drink, but it was kind of watered down and I personally would not recommend it. I did see a lot of people picking up iced latte drinks with different drizzles so maybe I might have to try them next time. Overall, service was a breeze and the shop had a good amount of window seating both inside and outside. Also for those looking to study, outlets are limited but they do have free WiFi!

Yelp
Quickly stopped in on my way to work. Super cute corner spot, with a couple parking spots out front, and the music was a vibe - Hawaiian reggae. Vibrant aesthetics and clean! I like the window bar seats too. I ordered an iced Basic Sitch latte with macadamia milk - it was good but I would have preferred more ice. I also ordered the Cabo-cado Toast on a sun-dried tomato cheese bagel - held the jalapeños. I liked this avocado toast twist of a bagel. It was delicious however I would have asked for the bagel to be warmed - although the bagel was soft and tasty still!

Yelp
Great looking interior and modern spot. However the prices are steep AND THEY ADD A 4% SURCHARGE without listing it. Expect to pay $20 for a bagel sandwich and small coffee. The pricing would make more sense if they made their own bagels, but they do not. STOP NICKEL AND DIMING US WITH THESE BS FEES!!! Pay your workers better and roll that fee into the menu pricing. This imagery of the surcharge is more harmful to your business than you expect. I'll change my review if you remove that surcharge bc I want to see you succeed.

Yelp
Stopped by early on a weekend and was pleasantly surprised it wasn't too crowded. It's within walking distance of the beach, which is a huge plus. There's plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors, and the staff was warm and welcoming. I ordered a latte and an onion & garlic bagel with the caramelized shallot and chive spread--absolutely delicious!

Yelp
Easily the best bagel I've had in California! We got the sun-dried tomato bagel and the bacon and white cheddar bagel, both with roasted shallot and chive cream cheese. The bagels were moist, fresh and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more flavor combinations!

Yelp
I've been meaning to try their coffee for years, but just never made it to any of their original locations. I love this new location in PB. It was easy enough to find parking (at least for PB standards), and ordering time was quick too. They seem to have a constant flow but never a crazy line which I appreciated. The staff is just nice and laid back, but quick and efficient at the same time. Immaculate vibes really. I loved the amount of different coffee, tea, and just drink options in general, plus their obviously amazing selection of bagels. There really is something for everyone. While we did just come here for coffee, their baked goods were calling our names. My husband and I settled upon their cinnamon coffee cake. Perfectly moist and just the right amount cinnamon in every bite. Didn't even need to be warmed, but it being warm didn't hurt! After ordering our drinks, we may have waited 3 minutes before our drinks were ready. So fast honestly. I had the blondie mocha with Mac nut milk and my husband had the cinna-bee latte. Both were perfectly balanced with just enough syrup flavoring but still being able to actually taste their delicious coffee in every sip. I will say my coffee choice was still sweeter than my husbands, but again not overly so. I'm not sure if I could order anything else in the future because I loved my drink so much. Doesn't seem like you could go wrong with anything on their menu. Also! There is a decent amount of seating inside and plenty of room at the bar tops too. Outdoor seating is available as well!

Yelp
Respectable amount of schmear! and many vegan options. Decided to try this place out when my boyfriend's brother came to visit and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed our bagels and coffees. The breakfast sandwiches looked phenomenal and were stuffed! The cappuccino was outstanding, probably the best I've had in San Diego. While my visit was nearly perfect, almost every employee was on their phone at one point, which is always a little offsetting for me at any setting in the food industry, however the overall experience made up for it. Spill the Beans offers high quality food that doesn't skimp on portions at an easily affordable price. This place is definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Easily found street parking on a Thursday morning around 9am. I came on February 13 for their limited "You Are My Everything" heart-shaped everything bagels and they were FANTASTIC. (Sold only February 13 and 14). The bagel was the perfect amount of soft and chewy, even the next day! They season on BOTH sides of the bagel which was my favorite part. Bought 4oz of White Truffle Parmesan cream cheese for just $1. Delicious...and also makes your breath tres stinky!

Yelp
This Spill the Beans location is just getting underway in Pacific Beach, San Diego. When I arrived, I was greeted nicely, and ordered a 12 oz drip coffee and their signature jalapeno and white cheddar bagel. I had it toasted and buttered. Both items came out to $9 and some change. The coffee was a medium roast and had a good dark chocolate flavor with a subtle nuttiness towards the end. Good coffee. The bagel was lightly toasted and came with a sufficient amount of butter. The bagel was very good and had a good chew. The flavor of the jalapenos and white cheddar were very good. The service was very friendly and helpful at the counter. They offer inside and outside seating. I do which they offered a whole wheat or whole grain bagel or bread for their breakfast, lox, and sandwiches. Only street parking is available at this location.

Yelp
I recently visited Spill the Beans last weekend on Garnet Ave, and I was really impressed by their bagels. Here's what I ordered: -Iced Basic Sitch: A perfectly balanced coffee drink. -Two bagel sandwiches: 1. B.B.L.T.: Crisp bacon with fresh veggies and a garlic aioli twist. 2. San Dieggo: Comfort food at its best with peppered bacon, melty cheddar, and an over-medium egg. The bacon cheddar bagel was exceptional--definitely not your average bagel. The staff was efficient, the space was nice inside out, and the outdoor seating was great to enjoy some delicious breakfast and coffee. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
SOO GOOD comparable to new york bagel it was delicious. workers were super nice and it was really quick. I didn't have to wait super long and it was on a Saturday afternoon!

Yelp
Had big hopes for Spill the Beans but was ultimately disappointed. The cutesy "pot" references are a turn off -- would much rather they focused on serving great coffee. My La Vida Mocha was just OK -- the Spiced Mocha at Bird Rock Coffee Roasters is WAY better -- and my wife didn't like her Chai Latte at all. Maybe their bagels are better than their coffee, but won't be back to find out.

Yelp
My friends wanted to try this local place as we love bagels and coffee. I've been to their gaslamp location and loved the coffee but not the bagel. Same feelings at this location. I have mixed feelings about the bagels, but love the iced mocha that they use the Mexican chocolate in. It's sweet, creamy and delish. The bagels however are still not my favorite. I've tried the sundried tomato and jalapeño and cheese and they're all very soft and doughy, and the texture seems off. I feel like they cook them differently than other places so as the dough is quite dense and doesn't have the crunchier outside with a soft inside. It reminds me more of a grocery store style bagel than a fresh one. It also didn't really seem toasted and I'm not a huge fan of an untoasted bagel and cream cheese. But it was busy and seemed like a lot of people liked it. My friends thought their bagels were alright but nothing crazy. The coffee is def my favorite and that mocha is to die for. I ordered online as the line was very long and they made it pretty quick. Loved the outdoor seating and it's a cute spot.

Yelp
Not sure if it's the location or what but this is the 6th or 7th food spot I've seen here, while it is on a busy corner, parking is always an issue in PB. The music was aggressively loud for a midweek afternoon and the staff seemed more interested in their conversation than helping guests. I ordered a flat white which said 6oz on the menu and I was given an 8oz. For being the only customer, it took longer than expected to get my beverage. The barista had also walked away by the time I took two steps to the counter to grab my drink. Won't be coming back, thankfully this was as assignment.

Yelp
$5.61 for a drip coffee plus a 4% surcharge with no real explanation as to why. No thanks.
google avatar

Yelp
Good bagels, fun flavors, & a nice vibe. The shallot & chive cream cheese is very good! My only complaint is a wish they put more cream cheese on the bagel, it didn't have much. I will be back.

Yelp
Disappointing Experience The place looks great, and I was excited to try it out. The interior is fresh and modern, and the tile work is really nice. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. I ordered an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese, and it was honestly terrible. It tasted like a stale, week-old hockey puck. I would've rather eaten a sponge with cream cheese on it. How do you open a bagel place and serve something so bad? I'm not angry, just genuinely disappointed. I expected so much more.

Yelp
Spill the Beans - Pacific Beach (Garnett Ave) Review This spot is an absolute gem! I stopped by for breakfast and had the San Dieggo Bacon Egg and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, which was next-level delicious--perfectly toasted, packed with flavor, and exactly what you want in a solid breakfast sandwich. Later in the day, I saved the chia pudding/yogurt bowl with banana and pineapple topped with coconut, and it was the ideal light and refreshing afternoon treat. Great balance of texture and natural sweetness. But what really made the experience stand out? The vibes. They were playing wubby dubstep on good-quality speakers, and the staff was lightly grooving while working, making the whole atmosphere feel fun and energetic. Even waiting for my order was enjoyable. I'll definitely be back! -Evan F

Yelp
Good coffee and bagel sandwiches. A little on the expensive side for a breakfast. Quick service and clean restaurant.

Yelp
Serrano, habanero and jack cheese bagel and white truffle Parmesan cream cheese is on point!! Service was awesome too, everyone seemed to be in a great mood, even having it be gloomy outside. Great place and fun atmosphere for a good cup of joe!!!

Katie S.

Yelp
The five stars are all for David! He is one of the best people I've her encountered in customer service. So nice and so professional. I love this place cuz of him!

Sam B.

Yelp
The gluten free toast was great it is sort of the texture of a biscuit if that makes sense. The slices are just very thick so I took one off my sandwich to eat it. I got the lil SOB with gluten free toast and then we also got the Mclovin with a white cheddar and bacon bagel. Loved both.
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
New spot and considering they just opened, it's on the right track. Inventive bagels and although they don't have gluten free bagels, you can get GF toast for any of the sandwiches. I tried the lox, stock & bagel sandwich on GF toast it did not disappoint. A healthy portion of lox, it filled me up.
google avatar

Sara R.

Yelp
got the kids bagel -- good sized portion. nice people working there!! chill vibes! :)

Kristin M.

Yelp
I really don't know what happened to this bagel. I'm crying. it was hard as a brick and looks like oatmeal

Haley H.

Yelp
Ordered the Lox Stock on an everything bagel with regular cream cheese and it hit. Would probably simplify it next time without cucumbers or fried capers but was still solid! There were lots of tables outside which was perfect for our sunny morning munch
google avatar

Olivia S.

Yelp
Food & coffee is really good but the music is so aggressive and honestly unbearable trying to get a coffee in the morning

F S.

Yelp
Ordered a baker's dozen for an event. DoorDash picked up order and delivered promptly. Bagels were extremely stale and hard, not made fresh. Employee was rude and did not rectify the poor-quality order.

Ken N.

Yelp
This review is for the BAGELS ONLY. Being from NY and having been grown up and living in NYC, these are the worst. No flavor, no texture, nuttin. I will state that I didn't have any of their coffees or other menu items.

Natalie R.

Yelp
Bagels were too dense and almost wet. They were put of everything bagels so i went with the onion and garlic. The scallion and chive cream cheese was good though. We also had the sob sandwich. The filling was fine but once again the bagel was too dense and wet. It said they were california style so maybe thats what a california style bagel is supposed to be like? Idk we need a solid new york style bagel place. Also the cashier was rude. Everyone else working seemed to be really nice.

James H.

Yelp
man always a good time here, dont be hating on the stoners! they make the world go around

John K.

Yelp
Had 2 bagels, drip coffee and Ice tea. The bagels were stale and unappetizing. The coffee and tea were fine. Not much seating today due to a crew hanging signs. Too many other options for bagels and coffee nearby.

K K.

Yelp
I never leave reviews but I just had too! I got the San Diego on a Serrano jalapeño bagel! BEST BAGEL SANDWICH IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Me and my man shared it and it's huge and very filling! 10/10. Service was great and it's very spacious inside.

Darius G.

Yelp
New favorite spot in Pacific Beach. Bagels are on point considering coming from the east coast! Coffee is delicious not too hot not too cold just the right temperature. The two workers there that make me want to come back are Sheccid and David, both so nice and welcoming every time I step in the shop! Also the space looks so dope can't wait to get my next Cinn-bee coffee there :)
