We hosted our firm social here and had a great time. Historically, we’ve made it a hyper-competitive ping pong tournament, but this time we took more of a relaxed “hang out” approach, which was just as lovely. We had one table set up along with some yard games, and everything was a lot of fun. Service was a bit slower than I would have liked at first, but once we flagged it, the team addressed it and everything ran smoothly afterward. The food was very good overall, with the poke cone being the standout for me. All in all, it was a really enjoyable evening and a great spot for a casual group gathering.

Fun place to play ping pong! The food and drink selections are amazing and service is wonderful. Great place to host a group of friends for a night out or for a special occasion. It’s spacious and clean too. The nachos plate was huge and grilled cheese sandwich was tasty.

My friends and I went there to celebrate my birthday and the Staff was absolutely amazing. Chris our Server was the MVP! Always made sure we were taken care thank you! The vibe and atmosphere was great, food was delicious. Absolutely recommend this place if you’re doing a birthday, or a place to hang! I wish I took more pictures 😢

We went here for a sports fan event. The ping pong tables are legit! There’s also darts, corn hole, connect four, and UNO cards! They have coat check, great snacks and food, a bar, and great service. I don’t drink - they don’t make mocktails. I settled for a Shirley Temple. It was a lot of fun.

I can’t believe I’ve never been here! I went a couple weeks ago (Black Friday) and had a GREAT time. Vibe is very loungy, with numerous bars, ping pong tables, couches, and games throughout the venue. Food and drinks were priced appropriately and the waiter was always easy to find.

Great spot for friends or coworkers. The vibe is fun and there are so many tables you're guaranteed to get a spot. Good drinks and tasty food. Im the worst at ping pong but it was so easy to learn here

We had such a incredible fun time here from the moment we walked in until we walked out. It's a hidden location on 23rd Street and Park Avenue across the from IBM building next to the 6 train station. The food is delicious, the service was excellent (Thanks Marie for the service our waitress) front desk staff were very helpful on finding us a table, wait time was short, drinks were strong but extremely tasty fantastic and fruity. The first 35 minutes we played Ping Pong broke a sweat felt like a workout but lot's of fun. Me and my wife Sév would definitely recommend it to anyone in town.

We made a reservation 3 weeks ago for a group, age 15. We received a call 2 hours and 15 minutes before the reservation that they need to have a person 18+. We should have been informed long before 2 hours the day of. For that reason, 2 stars. We were refunded but this left us in a last minute scramble.

Super impressed with Spin. We booked a package for 6 people - 2 hours of ping pong, unlimited call drinks, Mediterranean platter and two pizzas for $70 per person. There's a coat check when you arrive which is helpful for these cold winter months. Upon check in, staff was super attentive and on the ball. We were shown our space and our server came over right away. Multiple times throughout the night, the manager came by to check on everything. Food and drinks were awesome. And our server came around frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Ping pong was fun too - they have people going around collecting all of the balls that go flying so you don't need to spend time doing that. After the two hours was up, we opted to hang out at the bar on site. They did fun bar games and my friends won some prizes! Really impressed with the level of coordination here with the service. No one missed a beat. Staff was attentive and very present the whole evening. Had a great time for a reasonable cost! You can't say that about too many places these days. They have another bar on site called Marty's but it was closed for a private event. Looked nice! Will be back for sure.

Spin is the ultimate spot for a fun night out with friends! Plenty of ping pong tables, plus extra games like darts and Jenga to keep things interesting. And as someone who loves a good photo booth, I really appreciate having a fun way to capture the night! We grabbed food at the bar, and let me tell you, the espresso martini was chef's kiss--smooth, bold, and exactly what you want. The birria bao buns? Absolutely to die for. Messy? Yes. Worth it? 100%.

I came here for an event, so didn't have to pay for the tables. But for $60/hr per table where you can split with a group, it's not too shabby. They have even cheaper prices if you come after 10pm or non-Friday/Saturdays. It's a great spot for socializing while playing ping pong. They also have some darts, which I actually spent most of my time at. The drink was reasonably priced, but light on the alcohol. Well drinks started off at $9. It's huge and spacious with a chill vibe if you're looking for something to do.

Great fun! Great music.! Very happy place to be. Most days is $50/table. Fries were a bit soft n not crispy, we had sparkling California Brut. $12/glass. Slightly sweet. Inga, the bartender was a bit rude, n short w us. If you're in the service business, you should be friendly n courteous.

I came to SPIN for a corporate team event. I like the ambiance of SPIN, it was large and had a number of activities you could do including ping pong, shuffle board and darts! The drink and food options were also pretty good!

Beyond five stars. True perfection and highly recommend. What a stellar experience! Unique and fun atmosphere for everyone, cool vibe without being stuffy. I recently had a surprise birthday party as a private event here and from start to finish the team was amazing. Dana and the events team made everything super easy and explained everything clearly, organized a venue walkthrough, etc. The team during the event was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, so responsive, the food was awesome, and they kept me well informed of things and on track with the event schedule. Cassie, Joe, Jackson, and Spider, the servers were on point for everything and created a seamless experience. Everyone kept telling me what a wonderful time they had! I can't wait to visit again and hopefully host another event there. I am thrilled we were able to create such a special memory for my family. Go here, you won't be disappointed!

I hosted a private event here on Friday night at 7 PM. We worked with Laura to reserve the space in a semi private area. Laura made the process very easy and was very super open to answer any questions we had. The night of the event, we worked with Ty and Patrick who were both great and very friendly. The food that was passed around was also very tasty and a hit among our attendees. I loved their shrimp tacos the most. I was a bit disappointed about the semi private space because we were told there would be a curtain around it but we just had a small retractable barrier so there was a loud drunk group that ended up coming into our space but they were thankfully asked to leave by the staff after around 10 minutes. All in all, a nice option for a private social event - they even gave us a small discount because Friday nights were considered off peak time. Our group would definitely be interested in hosting another social event at SPIN!

Went to spin for a US open watch event and had an amazing time! We were able to try the infamous honey deuce drinks while viewing the game on the big screen and we got to play a couple rounds of ping pong! This is a large venue with a sexy upscale bar/ ping pong feel to it versus other ping pong establishments and game rooms. It's conveniently located in flatiron and drinks food service and aesthetics were amazing!

Used to come here a lot... forgot how much I missed this place! So much fun. Great drinks and solid food, especially for sharing. The nachos were very tasty -- and a toasty smores drink and holiday mule were really nice for the season. The only thing I'd say as far as negatives is the lighting vs. the ping pong table in some spots. CASEY was a fabulous host ... great recommendations, service, and attitude... and we found out it will be his birthday soon. We appreciated our wonderful experience at SPiN -- and happy birthday, Casey!

Spin is one of my favorite spots in Manhattan! I love going with friends and have even celebrated a birthday there and have gone to open bar events hosted there. They have great options to have your own events as well. I love that you can play ping pong but also have food and drinks at the same time so it elevates your typical friends night out or date night by adding an activity on top of dinner/drinks. This last time I went I went for a Black Friday deal that was $10 tables with $10 and under food and drink specials. The sliders were $10 and the nachos that are pictured were actually the mini nachos that were just $9! The service was excellent and they always made sure we had everything we needed and enough water. The music was also a great volume to have fun while playing ping pong but not too loud where you would feel like it's hard to have a conversation. They also have a lot of games to play for free such as giant jenga, giant connect 4 and giant uno. They also went around on the day when I went and passed around some food and drink samples to try out. I also noted that they have $10 tables after 10p on Friday and Saturdays. I will definitely be back many more times.

This place is great to relax. There's so much to do from ping pong to connect 4,, tic tac toe, uno, Jenga and darts. The food is always good. Cant wait to go back. Don't forget to get a picture at the booth.

For those of us who are Ping Pong Headz and also can appreciate having a full bar with tasty foods and drinks right in the same venue, this SPIN Midtown is for you! I like this location since it's located within one block from my apartment building in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. The staff are friendly and some of them may even come out to play some competitive ping pong matches against you, if you wanted to challenge them like I have done a few times. This is my go-to bar whenever I need my heavy dose of playing competitive ping pong with fellow ping pong headz and/or friends.

Great table tennis players, nice bartender, and the food was great and the poker guys were amazing

I'd come here yrs back for a friends birthday party. So fun! Coming back here was great. And, during Asian heritage month, I had to try the kimchi loaded fries. I would never think of trying this combination but I've been testing my pallet this month. They were a tad bit salty for me but actually good. Huge portion! The service was great and I like that they come around collecting balls off the floor all night so you don't worry about tripping & falling lol. It's definitely a fun place for colleagues, family, friends, dates. Go, enjoy!!!

I came here for a work event with a group of about 50 people. I'd previously been to one of their locations in San Francisco, but this was my first time visiting in New York. The ping pong lounge is located below ground. You will see the reception area and restrooms when you first descend the stairs. The ping pong play area is fairly spacious. There were a lot of us at the event but it didn't feel crowded or difficult to move around or find a place to stand. At the back of the venue, they have a full bar. Service was excellent. They don't have any signature cocktails, but can make all the classic drinks. I ordered a mojito with light syrup and light ice and the waitress remembered my order for my second round, which was awesome of her considering how many other people she was serving. The food was pretty good. I particularly enjoyed the jackfruit sliders, which were sweet and filling. The flatbread pizza didn't look great, but it was actually tastier than expected. Ping pong is always fun because it's accessible for beginners. Staff are on hand to pick up any balls you lose so you don't have to constantly chase after them, which is very convenient. They also had expert players walking around who offered tips on how to improve your game. One of these pros played using his iPhone instead of a paddle, which was remarkable to see! Definitely worth checking out for a fun group activity.

Hey I was at spin a couple of weeks ago and I must say it was a wonderful experience . I came after work to take a load off with a couple of friends the server was very nice . She was accommodating but the manager Janel was great . She checked in on us and made sure we were okay and offered us some food choices as well as drinks . I wish I remembered the server name but they both were good .

This is a colorful but darkly lit basement lounge / party scene plus ping pong! Lots of photo opportunities, full bar, and a photo booth. Many young business professionals here at 8pm on a Wednesday. Fun for half hour table rentals. Time flies too quickly! I was impressed with the selection of drinks and friendly staff. Despite being busy, this place was organized and well run. We were greeted at the door with our reservation and escorted to our tables. When we had 10 mins left at the table, they marked the table so we knew how much time we had left. You don't have to collect the balls that fly off the table. There is a dedicated team collecting and refilling the ping pong balls. The yucca fries were delicious and my friend enjoyed the Hawaiian dog. This is a place where you can spend a fair amount of money and not realize because you are having so much fun.

What an incredible way to kick off a Saturday night! We gathered a large group of friends and decided to take full advantage of the $10 After 10PM deal, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, and the energy in the room was contagious. We got caught up in some friendly competition, which truly elevated the entire experience. Every rally brought cheers and laughter, making it a night to remember. If you're searching for a fun and engaging way to spend your evening with friends, this is absolutely the place to be. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to enjoy a lively night out!

This place is so much fun! They have ping pong tables everywhere, so you can reserve your own section to play and get drinks/ food. It's large enough so you can come here for an event or just with a small group of friends. I'm not even good at ping pong, but it was so much fun to play. The drinks here are also good, especially the moscow mules! I came here for a work event, but I'll definitely have to come back with some friends because I know they would love this place.

Such a fun spot with good vibes! The atmosphere is very modern and cool (absolutely nothing like other ping pong spots that have obnoxiously bright lighting). The drinks are surprisingly decent, and there is a lot of space to just hang out. It's a great spot for a birthday, fun date, or celebration. The only negative I would say is the pricing on the weekend is way too high. Definitely worth it to pick a weekday over a weekend here.

This is a great place for a hangout or host an event for your team/work. We played ping pong and shuffle board. Food and drinks were good too. Service was great. The vibes are chill at SPIN. I'll definitely be back!

Excellent venue for a private event The ambiance was fun and vibrant. The location is easy to find and navigate. The service was impeccable. I would recommend for +200 people events. I tried a few desserts, and they were delicious.

This was my first time at this table tennis lounge. We reserved a table for 1 hour. You can order drinks and snacks from the waitress. When the hour was nearly up, the server asked if we wanted to extend our time on the table. We didn't because we had dinner reservations (otherwise we would have because it was so much fun).

I love this place if you enjoy ping pong. The open bar and food for two hours was an awesome deal. We celebrated a friends birthday there and it was awesome. The open bar was top shelf and for a ping pong place the food was actually very solid. Highly recommend, I will be returning

Great place to have a company party or just hang out. Perfectly located on 23rd street in the city. Walk downstairs and will be amazed at the size of the place. Plenty of room and ping pong tables. Well equipped bar and lots of staff taking care of everything from serving to retrieving pong balls. Food was surprisingly good. Finger foods to pizza to salads. Fresh and fast. Friendly service and tons of nooks that can be cornered off for parties. Lots of fun.

Cool place. Had pretty decent drink selection. Went for a work event so not sure how much anything actually was but overall good experience and would maybe go back if I had any ping pong oficiando friends

Had a great time at SPIN yesterday. Thank you so much for checking vaccination records and enforcing social distancing. Plenty of hand sanitizers and everyone is fully masked. Great place to come hang out. Lots of ping pong tables and places to lounge!

Fun, but too expensive for what it is. Cost 4 of us $240 for a table for 50 minutes. Not sure why they charge per person... a table can be played by either 2 or 4 people. We could have/ should have reserved 2 tables for 2 people each for the same cost. Add some food and drinks and you've dropped about $500 in an hour, and then they boot you off the table. Not really worth it. The place was clean and the ping pong is fun though.

Randomly stopped by last week when searching for a nearby bar on Yelp. The four of us enjoyed drinks and shuffleboard with good music and a fairly low key crowd for a Friday night. The space is much bigger underground than the entrance indicates, so worth checking out. Would definitely come back if we're in the area.

Went here on a Saturday night was crowded but there was still room in the spot. My party was a walk-in and the wait time was maybe about 5 minutes. We got a table for$60 for an hour. (Which is a little expensive but with a group is affordable). Service was good very helpful, our waitress which I'm sorry can't remember her name. She was great very attentive. Ping Pong or table tennis lol is fun bottom line. An hour seems like a short time, but everyone gets their turn.2 hours would probably be the max I need there. I think a larger group with the weekend/late plan is probably the best course of action for my next visit.

My party had a great time at SPIN! The vibe is great and it's just refreshing to do something more exciting than standing around at a normal bar. It's definitely not cheap, but worth it on occasion.

Held a corporate event here for 40 people and it was great. First of all it has the luxury of space and great air conditioning. Two things that most NYC venues are short of!! Staff couldn't have been nicer and there was one small hiccup that was resolved immediately. Ping pong and dj was a nice add on and attendees were complimentary of the venue as well!

What an awesome bar! Went here for her birthday, and it was so much better than your standard bar, as we were able to get our own table and couch area. We did the wine and beer package with food and everyone was well fed with the amount. This election was fine for a birthday party. We also loved that they brought us a large Jenga for us to also play. So much better than just going to an average bar

PROS: This place is nice looking. The place has a man cave/basement type of look to it. Many ping pong tables for you to play with and a bar in the middle of it. The staff was very nice and the prices were good for the city. CONS: They charge $50 an hour for the ping pong table which is a rip off. I could get bowling less than that. Despite buying $100+ worth of food and drinks we would have still needed to pay another $50 for the table. Also, there aren't that many places to sit and I kept stepping on ping pong balls laying around the floor. It was like setting off landmines OVERALL: This place is way overpriced when it comes to the table and the bar is also a little small and cramped. I would go to a more affordable and fun place

WARNING WARNING WARNING Unless you want to be arrested and look like a creep, be warn!!! Apparently they host birthday parties or some thang like that! So here's the story, Out with the gang for drinks and then we were like where do yall wanna go?! This dude was like this place seems cool, drinks, games, and whatnot. We show up and two girls walk out... two suspicious looking young lads with flashy light headbands and what not. I was like, if I see a pacifier in someone's mouth, I'm out. We go downstairs and lord behold, it was like someone's sweet sixteen was going on and then my dentist was like HOLY CRAPPER DOODLES SCOOBY DOOO!!! WE WALKED INTO CHUCKY CHEESE!!!!! I was like well ZOINKS!!! We got out of there before the police were called that's for sure. HOWEVER, I am confident, based on the photos, if kids are out, and the big boys are out to play, then yeah, it could have been fun. Either way, call before you show up I guess. The hormones that I saw... no thanks.

This place is a fun area to take a group. They have amenities to make sure your stay is comfortable, relaxing, and fun. Ideal place for a happy hour with coworkers. The food was good, and had vegan options. Service was good, considering that we were the only group inside.

Came here as a company Happy Hour event and omg it was so fun! There's two different bars where you can order drinks and tonssss of ping pong tables so that you are sure to be able to get a game on with friends! The hors d'oeuvres available were tasty and delightful - there was a charcuterie board and flatbreads, as well as other apps that servers brought around (including shrimp tacos, falafel served on cucumber, mini sliders, chicken & waffle!) Definitely an awesome place to host an event - we had at least 50-100 people and there still was sooo much room! There were a few arcade games and a large connect four, so there are definitely other games available. Great drinks and service all around!

I went to a party here this past weekend and I have to say it exceeded on every level. This place is a well oiled machine. The people were fantastic so accommodating and the food was incredible. This is a really special place to have any type of party!! I would call it an experience in the best way possible!!

My company was hosting our Spring Fling Event here today. I finally crossed this spot off my bookmarks woooohooo! My colleagues and I walked over from our building which was less than 5 minutes and conveniently next to the 6 train station. We went downstairs and was greeted by another colleague who was putting wristbands on us. We walked over to our section of four ping pong tables with leather chairs along the walls, as well as another seating area. I haven't played ping pong for a very long time. Just a side note...my dad used to compete in ping pong tournaments back in Shanghai, China! I do get a bit competitive though =) You can play either singles or doubles at these ping pong tables so I play doubles with my colleagues. My balls were bouncing everywhere because I don't know my own strength sometimes haha I started drinking Miller Lite first but I switched over to Sparkling Rose...mmmm refreshingly light and yummy! I ate Hop Pop Chicken, Beef Sliders, Mac n Cheese Bites, Shrimp Ceviche...too much cilantro, and some Macarons from the beautifully displayed dessert platter. I definitely want to come back because it was so much FUN!!!!

it wasn't in new york and I have been to "spin" far too many times, but I have to say it enchanted me just enough to hook me, I believe. the very first time I imbibed.

Where do you go and get an endless amount of balls? Here of course! Actually a line from Season 2's 'Nurse Jackie' ("...Ping-Pong at a club Susan Sarandon opened")- brought us here. I Googled that sucker right away and in the middle of watching the episode, hubby searched SPIN, read the info, reserved and paid on the spot. Rest is history. I'm no Forrest Gump- but I can certainly hold my own with good eye-hand coordination. Hubby always had a knack though for Handball, Paddleball and Racquetball- so Ping Pong somehow came easy for him. If you're on 23rd, you'd never think Ping Pong existed here. Street level entrance gives way to a small waiting area and stairs leading to where it all starts. Restrooms at the bottom of the stairs- plus SPIN's Front Desk to briefly check-in. Beyond that point, place is sprawling and really digging the Underground style that's decked out real nice with an elevated industrial chic. Seating booths and high stools available, plus a colorful Bar towards the back end. My husband reserved a table for an hour. (Just ask Front Desk before your session is over if you wanna go past your allowed time then pay). Host walks you to your reserved Ping Pong table, floor person explains some details, plus a 10 minute reminder towards the end of your game. From there, all you need to do is start playing. (Tables by the way- are strong and had an awesome ball bounce). Our server Allison- popped in immediately and placed an order for a Margherita Flatbread-which was doable. My 'Arm Candy' cocktail with Crème de Cacao was nice and hubby liked his Jack & Coke's. Price? $79 an hour plus other fees. Nightlife? Totally. Date night? Hell f*cking yeah!!! This place is so much freaking fun- your girl or guy- will have an absolute blast! Coming to SPIN, was what we needed to recharge and had tons of fun! So glad we came here to let loose.

Great place for a company outing. The food came out quick, the music was on point and the ping pong was of course wonderful. They had a pro player walking around offering drink tickets If you beat them. Obviously we weren't successful, but he was very nice and adapted his playing style and intensity to who he was playing against. Highly recommend if looking for a casual space for a company outing and or mixer.

Came here on Friday night. First time to Doin and first time playing ping pong. But it's clearly a very popular place because it was pretty much full. You should make reservations beforehand because they are quite busy. There is a nice bar and lounge area that before or after you play you can hang out there and have food and drinks. I will do this experience again. It was a really fun time. Best part is I didn't have to run after and pickup the balls. Someone came around and swept up the balls periodically.

I read through some of the reviews to try and get an idea of how anyone could give this place less than 5 stars. It's a sprawling oasis of ping pong beauty in an urban jungle plagued by space issues. Sure, it's more expensive than playing at Bryant Park you filthy animals, but my god - I love this place. My buddy and I come here fairly often for some competitive pong - you can't beat it. The place is huge, set up perfectly for social distancing, everyone's really nice, the drinks are great and the food is too. Honestly, thank god for Spin.

First Impressions: The first time I came here was in 2013 with my pharmacy school friends for a social/school event. It was intimidating (mostly because I have terrible hand-eye coordination) but also because I've never been that good at sports in general. The vibe was fun. Lots of food options, a bar, TVs galore, and a bunch of games of ping pong happening all over the place. PING PONG BALLS everywhere. Well, since then I got hooked because I came back here for two different birthdays (of mine), a surprise bday party for my hubby, and countless random nights out with friends. The Noms/The Games: The food was really good. We've tried a variety of the bar foods and drinks they have available regardless of what you're craving. The service is fast and friendly. But what I really come here for are the games. Just because I'm terrible doesn't mean I can't have fun. There's just something so awesome about whacking around a bunch of bright orange ping pong balls... and challenging trying to keep the balls volleying in the air for as long as possible. The vibe is super chill and no one cares if you play well or not, or if your ball keeps flying haphazardly into their court. I really love the energy here. You wouldn't think that going out to play ping pong was something we'd do in NYC, but hell... it's one of the most fun you can have. Ever tried to keep the ping pong balls straight as you're throwing back your 5th drink? I think it makes me a better ping pong ball player! You can do solo or do 2 on 2. Your whole group can share a table and take turns (that's the most fun!). The tables go by the hour and you get unlimited balls. There's always a staff member refilling your bucket so the fun never has to stop as long as you keep paying for the hour. In Conclusion: 10/10 would recommend. Likely going to do another trip here when my sister and brother come to visit me from Cali. I dare you to try and not to have a good time here. PS: I totally took a ping pong ball from here on the night of the surprise birthday party for my husband. Lots of good memories and I'm sure the won't miss it =)

"You want to go to the ping pong bar?" Not the average Friday night request, but believe me, more fun than you will have on your average night out. You have played ping pong, but not like this. To start, because you see the 5 stars so you will go, make a reservation. The 1st time we went we waited maybe 40 minutes for a table, it's like that, so call in advance. 30 minutes is available if you have someplace else to go, but if you choose an hour I promise you'll be too wrapped up in your newfound rivalry between friends to leave. Now ping pong is ping pong, theres not much to say there, it's on you whether or not you can play. In terms of play though, they do have monitors who will pick up the balls for you regularly. Aside from that, there is an extensive drink and food menu, filled with flavor combinations I am sure you have never tried. I was not drinking here at the time, but in taste, the moscow mule is a good way to go, and the fries are amazing. I have yet to have a plate of food food myself, but the plates I have seen go by look amazing. Understand that after the ping pong game is over, you unwind with a cocktail and chill in the lounge like areas. Very cool, good music, try it out and play me if you see me there. Thank you.
