Ordered company lunch from Spin Pollo Falls Church and everything was fantastic! We had the 1/2 chicken with rice and pasta salad, Lomo Saltado, and Lomo Sub. All dishes were delicious, generously portioned, and reasonably priced. The manager personally reached out by email to make sure our order was correct and that we enjoyed it—a real step above in customer service. Will definitely be back!

Service is just the cashier, but again, here is about the food. This trip I tried the spin salchipapa, which was good and filling. I may try a different sauce next time. Delicious chicken. We tried this last night and loved it. There’s ample parking and very comfortable inside. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the food was plentiful, well-priced, and very good. Even if you don’t use the sauce, the flavors are there. My wife and I had the dark 1/2 chicken and my son the quesadilla. This place is a must-try.

I bought Lomo saltado but they don't put enough. And the price is high. I buy empanadas to eat enough food, and was the worst decision they was terrible.

What a wonderful surprise… I stopped here when I was in the area and I’m really glad I did. Staff was very friendly and the portions were very good for the money. Chicken was some of the best I’ve had in quite awhile. I can’t wait to come back and try them again. Great parking as well!

We order here a lot and always joke "Spin Pollo never misses." The chicken and sides are all excellent and the value is incredible. I hope they never leave!

This is my go to rotisserie chicken spot, the chicken is always nice and fresh...Usually when you go to Peruvian restaurants you have to pick either the chicken or you get the good sides, luckily Spin Pollo has great chicken and good sides. When I do visit I go around noon and the staff are always amazing and so friendly. Some of the best yucca around too!

I'm a big fan of rotisserie chicken, so I was excited to try this spot. Can't say much about the service or ambiance since I ordered takeout. Food wise, I got the Half Chicken meal with a side of fries and salad. The chicken itself was cooked well, juicy, and plentiful. The sauces were all good, but their special sauce wasn't anything special for me. My only complaints was that the fries were soggy and the salad was warm/soggy since it was in the same container as the other food. Besides that, I overall enjoyed the food and recommend this place if you want good rotisserie chicken.

What a delightful place. Chicken was moist and tender, the young lady who took my order was generous with sharing her opinions on the best options, would absolutely eat here again.

We love Peruvian chicken, yucca, plantains, rice and beans. Spin Pollo is excellent and fast. Last night I was in, ordered, out and home in under 15 minutes with dinner. Dining in isn't the best atmosphere, but it isn't bad. It's a little dark. The only real negative is online ordering. 1/4 chicken meal comes with two sides. Their site only allows one side, in spite of what the menu describes. As quick as the counter service is, it doesn't matter.

Let's just dive in... Pros: - DELICIOUS FOOD - I've have the chicken, yuca, white rice, black beans, plantains, and yuquita balls. The chicken is juicy and seasoned so well, grocery stores try their best with rotisseries chicken and as good as it is, it just doesn't compare. The yuca was perfectly crisp even though they were larger. Usually I don't even order yuca, because restaurants never make them crispy enough. The black beans were super flavorful, I could eat them all day. The plantains are perfectly sweet. The show stopper is the yuquita balls, mashed yuca stuffed with cheese (maybe Oaxacan or mozzarella), then battered (I believe) and fried. Whew! Just amazing and it comes with an aioli that's not spicy but slightly sweet and it's just TOO GOOD! - They sell frozen treats as well. - There are 3 diff sauces: white, red, and green. All of them are good. I'm not sure if the red sauce is supposed to be spicy, but it's not spicy to me at all. The green sauce has an acidic base which is a good compliment to the flavorful meal especially if you get any of the fried items. Cons: - small eating area inside, but that's to be expected of a Peruvian chicken place. Get your food and go home to enjoy it so you can eat messy and be free! Suggestions: - Order food for your next work event from here with their catering options, you will not be disappointed at all and your team will love you. - There's a Kingstowne location as well, visit them if it's closer.

Ordered take out last night. The chicken was delicious, it was very juicy & well seasoned. Their yuca, rice & beans were very good as well. Service was good & quick. The place is small with not much sitting area so take out is best! The white chicken sauce was a little bit too salty but still flavorful. They could give it out more sauce on the side with the chicken- we only got 3. Over all great food, we'll keep coming back.

That onion salada is perfection, and a palate cleanser to a meal. Fried yuca is clean, and crispy. Service was top notch; feels nice to be accepted even if I am not Latino Green sauce could be spicier, is a def watered down for my preference; but all in all a fantastic dinner was had this evening.

Food is not bad taste wise when fresh, unfortunately most times I've been here the food has clearly been sitting around for some time and dried out. Service is terrible, this is the only Peruvian joint where I have waited almost 30 min to get a standard quarter chicken with 2 sides order. Even if the place is dead with no other customers, all the people working here will furiously avoid eye contact and stand around sighing until some magical amount of time has passed before packing up your food. Same experience tonight, staff stood around on their phones while we waited 20 min for a to go family meal. Food was even packed and tied up but not given to us....after we got home, there was no sauce or beans, unbelievable. Half the time my order is wrong or they forget the sauce. Avoid avoid

Ordered takeout 1/4 chicken and sides (yucca fries and beans and rice). The chicken was incredibly flavorful and had nice roasted/Smokey flavor. The dipping sauces were a delight with the fries and chicken. The beans and rice could have used some more seasoning. Probably wouldn't grab that again but would 100% go back for chicken and fries.

I used to get lunch here quite a lot, and realized I hadn't reviewed it. My go to is always the half chicken with two sides. Spin Pollo helpings are generous and GINORMOUS! When I get a half chicken I literally have extra chicken enough to last me 2-3 more meals (depending how much I ate the first day)!!!! You can also get the quarter chicken of course, but the chicken is so well seasoned, and the prices here are such a great value. I enjoyed getting all different combinations of sides but I really enjoyed the plantains and the coleslaw. It helps with neutralizing the strong flavors of the chicken. I feel like the pictures with the takeout containers don't do the meal justice, but you can tell from all other reviews how large the chicken portions are. Anyway, I needed to write this review because I've been missing it so much, and realized I didn't give it the credit it deserves!!

So thankful that Yelp introduced me to this place through an event because I'm obsessed! I decided to rope my family into this place too and they love this place too. I got the 1/2 Regular Chicken with yuca fries and pasta salad as well as the Lomo Saltado to share with three people. Everything was fantastic! The chicken was flavourful both on the outside and inside and tastes great with their sauces. They all aren't spicy in my opinion but that's because my spice tolerance is kind of high. The yuca fries were my fav, being crunchy and filling at the same time. Pasta salad was also creamy and tasty. The Lomo Saltado's sauce was delicious with the tender beef, sautéed onions and veggies, and potato underneath. Quality of the food is amazing, taste is on par, and prices are definitely reasonable for what they give you. Portions fill you up. It was only $30 for everything we got - worth it. Everyone seems to get it for pick up, so didn't have troubles eating at the place itself. Staff are nice. A must to go for Peruvian food or great chicken in general!

The reviews don't lie, this place is that good. The 1/4 chicken (breast/wing) was plenty of food and was roasted just right without being undercooked or too dry. The white rice was tasty and had a few vegetables mixed in as well. The plantains are worth the extra $1 and are tasty and nicely caramelized. Delivery was fast and friendly, I'll order here again.

Wow the chicken was actually fresh and tasty! It felt less greasy and actually healthier. I was afraid it was going to be super salty but it was not! It was great with the sauces. The 2 side dishes that come with the chicken were also great: Chicken fried rice w/ pinto beans and fried plantains. Both were tasty and good portions. The fried rice alone could make me feel full, and I really appreciate the fried plantains here... because they are usually quite pricey but disappointing in size and quality :/ I never had Havanna/Argentine alfajores, but the alfajor here was good enough for me--dulce de leche with coconut flakes between two sweet+buttery biscuits. Yuquita balls were creamy/cheesy, and of course, better than just yuca fries. Homemade flan here is also satisfying. Overall, I appreciate the authenticity, unique menu, good portions, and fresh ingredients here.

The chicken was hot, moist and extremely flavorful. The cream sauce (slightly light green) had a wonderful tangy flavor and really enhanced the flavor of the chicken even more. The plantains were exactly how I imagined they would taste and definitely craving worthy. I'd come back just for the chicken and plantains. My bf ordered his own carne asada dish and absolutely loved his choice. The waitress at the register recommended it to him and it did not disappoint. The yupita cheese balls were amazing and such a surprise when we got them for free! He even mentioned how glad he was that we finally found such a great "hole in the wall" place. We definitely plan to this into regular rotation and recommend this to any of our friends looking for a rockstar Peruvian place.

Great peruvian chicken, this was my favorite place to order from on lunch when I used to work in the area. Definitely would go more often if I was still nearby. I always ordered out but I would pick up and liked the vibe there as well with fast, convenient seating and colorful decor. Between them and tysons super chicken, top spot for peruvian chicken in NoVA!

I've recently discovered this place and it instantly has become my go-to place for Peruvian rotisserie chicken. Compared with interior that we can usually see at other Peruvian chicken restaurants in the area, it makes a nice change to see modern and darker design which gives an interesting vibe. Small dining for eat in, but comfortable. The chicken is perfectly juicy with crispy skin and all three sauces that come with chicken are far better than sauces that you can find at similar places. Today I wanted to try their Steak and cheese sub and it didn't disappoint. Next time I need to try their Papa rellena that people rave about.

Just average: I went here based on the reviews, and was expecting a knock out Peruvian chicken flavor experience... Unfortunately, it was just average tasting... the Peruvian chicken flavoring and chicken marination (meat flavor) were very light if not nonexistent, and the outer skin layer tasted a little burnt at times. Finally, the sides were just OK, but the extra long wait and price for the taste value lowers my average 3-star rating to 2-stars, Disappointing for a Peruvian chicken place; but I recommend trying something else in the area instead.

I'm not Peruvian and don't really know what a perfect Peruvian style rotisserie chicken should be. To be fair, I'm not sure this place claimed to be Peruvian chicken. Anyway, what I do know is when something tastes good to my palate, whether it is Peruvian or something else. I was excited to see that this place uses charcoal to cook their chicken. However, however they did it and whatever wood they use, the smokiness is there but too strong, in my opinion. The chicken also was drier than other places and still a bit tough. I also wish that rotisserie places would use birds with less breast meat, which is not very flavorful and can be very dry. 4-star on price for a whole chicken and for service.

I came here with a co-worker recently. I loved the chicken quesadilla. It is very filling for the price you pay. Napkins were a little hard to find.

I've never been so conflicted about a Peruvian Chicken joint until now. Typically I reach for the yucca first - check the consistency and crunch, move onto a piece of chicken breast - check for moistness and flavor, and finally dip that piece of chicken in the green and white sauces - check, got my score. For Spin Pollo though, it was a mixed bag but generally in a good way. First off, the Peruvian Chicken. As usual, I'll get my 1/2 chicken with 2 sides. The chicken breast was hot out of their rotisserie (had to wait 15 min while more chicken was being finished), which probably helped it not get overcooked and dried out. Even after a 10-15 min ride home from the take-out, it was still juicy and relatively warm/hot. While it did have flavor, it wasn't nearly as strong and full of spice, as some of the other Peruvian Chicken joints that are "super" in the area (if you know, you know). Dipping in the white and green sauces, they were pretty standard although the green was probably on the lower end of my favorite green sauces. It was just a bit too watery and lacking in a good spice/kick. The yucca unfortunately lacked the outer crunch and inner softness that I like (and that most would). Perhaps it was the take-out and the lack of airflow in the container, which made the yucca be a little soggy. However, I surmised that had I eaten it at the restaurant it would have been piping hot and a nice airy crisp on the outside. I will have to give them a pass on this, although I would highly recommend they poke some holes in the container to allow the moisture to escape and not build up inside. Finally, I must admit I've been on a Lomo Saltado (LS) binge of late. After discovering how tasty it is and suitable for my "Asian" tastes. Quick history detour - even though I'm not fully read up on this - but basically this dish came to be after some fusion of Chinese and Peruvian tastes came together and bam, the result is Lomo Saltado. So the LS here was solid, but I was a little disappointed in how "soupy" the sauce was, instead of being more thick and "saucy." It also seemed a bit lacking in the portion size compared to some of the other places I've been to in the area. Again, not a big deal as it was still generally considered by my stomach to be ample food, but just something to note. All said, I'm sure I'll hit up Spin Pollo again due to its location, and hopefully next time the yucca won't be as mushy and soggy. For LS though, I may opt to get that at a different location if that's what I'm craving. TL;DR: Generally good Peruvian Chicken, although the spices/flavor are not as strong/complex/deep as some of the other joints. Great for those who don't want all them spices, but for those (like me) who want that extra Peruvian spice, it was a little lackluster. The yucca probably is really good when fresh out of their fryer, but by the time I got the take-out home the yuccas were a bit sad.

Items bought :chicken meal w/ 2 sides and 5 yuquita balls. Cons: *CHEAP/STINGY on their small sauce!!! Spent 10 mins with the lady arguing about giving me an extra Green sauce. She gave me 2 total and ONE, just one was in with the Yuquita balls. My boo almost told her we wanted a refund at that point then she reluctantly gave us what we wanted....another green sauce. From reading reviews they're stingy on sauces! *Pricier than other Peruvian joints. Nothing spectacular about their sauce or chicken. *God awful location... small parking lot. The major turn off was how cheap they are with the sauce. Not wasting my time going back to the headache drive nor arguing about them giving me another sauce after spending 20 bucks on just one meal!

Super delicious. I went here d'or a Yelp special and they did not disappoint. Although they were out of dark meat, the other cuts were also delicious and juicy. Their service is spectacular and the portions are generous. I wasn't a huge fan of their horchata but the name of the place isn't spin horchata!

I have been to my fair share of Peruvian chicken places in the area, but I hadn't had a chance to try some of the other special dishes like Lomo Saltado or Ceviche. I decided to try Spin Pollo for takeout recently since it's pretty close to where I live and the reviews were quite good. Tip: Order through the Spin Pollo website not through Yelp or some of the other food delivery services because there are extra charges associated with them. On pickup, the food has always been pretty hot and very delicious after the drive home. Love the sauces too, but the containers are a little small so you might want to get extra! I've tried a couple of things so far: Food: Lomo Saltado - spiced sirloin steak, tomatoes, onions, a delicious vinegar-based sauce, mixed with fries and served over rice. The steak is super tender here for Lomo Saltado and the thick-cut hot fries are so good mixed in. My only issue is if you wait a little too long, the fries get soggy after sitting in the sauce when you pick-up the food to-go. Otherwise, everything is perfect! Ceviche - Fresh mixture of seafood, fried corn, and sweet potato cooked in fresh lime with our artisan traditional recipe. My girlfriend got this because she was curious about it. Pretty fresh fish, but I didn't try too much since I am allergic to corn. Definitely a little sour, so be sure you're ready for that. Flan - Got a side of flan and it was pretty solid. A bit sweet and a good portion. Definitely want to try some of the other dishes like salchipapas and yuquita balls. They look pretty delicious! Would recommend Spin Pollo! They have authentic Peruvian food and the service is pretty quick for to-go orders.

First time trying Spin Pollo and loved the food. Got quarter chickens and 2 sides for free in Elite Member event, order another quarter chicken and 2 sides for my partner. We both enjoyed the food and highly recommend. Each entree of quarter chicken and 2 sides are big enough for 2 meals, a good amount of food for the ~$9 price. 1. chicken - both the thigh/leg and breast quarters were very tender, juicy, and had good flavor from the spices. Compared to the chicken from El Pollo Rico (EPR) and Super Pollo (SP), the chicken here has less spices and flavoring on the spin but it didn't deter from the good flavors. The sides are where Spin Pollo really shines compared to the other 2 Peruvian Chicken places I've been to: 1. beans are soooo much better than the ones at EPR and SP, so much flavor. I really didn't like beans but after trying these, will definitely order beans as a side from Spin Pollo in the future 2. mashed potatoes and gravy -- mmm can't say if these are really healthy because they seem to have a lot of cream or butter but my god they are so delicious 3. Yuquita balls, got 2 of these for free from the restaurant. I didn't like these as much because there is some runny cheese in the middle but my partners enjoyed them 4. corn on the cob: normal 5. steak fries: normal The chicha morada is not homemade here like the other aqua frescas but it help relieve my cravings for chicha.

One of the worst chickens I've ever had, tasted like that acrid burnt flavor from a charcoal grill. The bitter aftertaste is still in my mouth 15 minutes later. Couldn't eat more than two bites, had to throw the rest away.

Visited for dinner on 9/24/21 Party of 2 First time visit and honestly I wanted everything on the menu so I'm going to have to go back. Ordered: Papa Rellena, pescado frito, yucita balls, 1/4 chicken dark meat with 2 sides (yuca frita and the creamiest pasta salad ever), and not pictured cause it was in my belly already, an Alfajores. Best bite: the pescado frito!! This wasn't even my order and i looooved it. Don't get my wrong i loved the chicken too but I will definitely be ordering this next time. An honorable mention goes to the pasta salad. It's super creamy just how like it. The service: really friendly and helpful staff!

If i could this establishment half a star, i would but... i cant. I went in today, ordered a sub with a side of yuka which came out to 17 DOLLARS and all I got a box full of disappointment. Needless to say the PLATE does not match the PRICE.

This is my favorite place for peruvian chicken and Yamileth is my favorite host. Wonderful demeanor, incredibly consistent flavor, and beautiful space. I highly recommend this place to all my Peruvian friends, who immediately take the suggestion as a very personal challenge. I laugh, drag them in for take-out, and they end up really liking it.

We were so excited to try out a new Peruvian Chicken place and had high hopes. We placed our order online and opted for pick-up. By the time we arrived, we received a call that our chicken would not be ready in time. The cashier said it would be around 25 more minutes due to an issue with the oven. (Also wanted to note that the store emphasized wearing a mask, but the cashier was not. She should be wearing a mask) The chicken itself was very juicy and tender. But for a total wait of 1+hrs? Not really worth it. The ceviche was meh - it didn't have a strong enough flavor. The yuquita balls were weird. It had a dry and chalky interior. The only cool part was the cheese pull.!

Very pleased with this Peruvian chicken joint. The last few places I've tried has not been the best. The chicken was pretty good, seasoned well, and quarter seemed to be perfect size. The rice and black beans were delicious. Yuca was good as well. Those yuquita balls though... so good! The yellow sauce was on the peppery side which I didn't mind and the special sauce they had was surprisingly good. Will definitely return to try the lomo saltado and other items on the list. Bf enjoyed his chicken sandwich but the bread little soggy by the time we brought it home. Was able to save some left overs - worth the price.

This small Peruvian joint is such a gem find! It's easy to miss if you don't know about it but I am so happy I found this place. Their lomo Saltado (skirt steak, cherry tomatoes and onions and yuca fries and white rice) is so flavorful - tender meat, mix it with white rice and veggies soaked in their special sauce. Their Peruvian style chicken comes with 2 sides and we had it with super crispy deep fried yuca fries and refreshing onion salad (picked onions and tomatoes which pairs really well with the chicken). Love this place, and will come back to try their ceviche!

I love this place. First, I ordered once from Postmates. The sweet lady included a hand written note thanking me for patronizing small business. That little note inspired me to go back today to order again. With a million choices for charcoal chicken in this area-what makes them stand out is the customer service. The awesome food is a bonus. The maduros are perfectly cooked, the chicken is crispy outside and juicy inside and the habichuelas are on point with flavor and consistency. I will be back, again and again. Why go to the big guys when you can support this lovely, local small business during these rough times.

Food is tasty, but not worth the horrible delivery experience. Estimated delivery time was 25-35 minutes. 45 minutes in the Uber Eats driver texts me that they are still waiting for the order. 1 hour 15 min in I get a "Sorry, your order has been cancelled" message. I had 6 very hangry grandparents and small kids I was trying to feed so this was a complete disaster. Will just order from Super Pollo next time.

The Spin Chicken is AMAZING!! I ordered a 1/4 chicken with fried rice and plantain. Great flavor and the green sauce made it even better. Nice place for lunch.

UPDATE: I appreciate the owner reaching out to make it right, but it still isn't sufficient enough to justify their "substitutions." These side-by-side pictures are nothing alike and by him suggesting other popular sides, it makes me think he's dismissing the fact that THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE SERVING! I still feel scammed and will no longer do business with an establishment that believes this "substitution" is okay. ORIGINAL POST: So disappointed in this place. Used to be my favorite chicken place and tonight just ruined it for me. THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE ARE A SCAM! Mashed potatoes came without gravy (even though I specifically selected that option), mac & cheese is a nasty version of the box Kraft kind, and the chicken soup is literally just oil with vegetables. The pictures (see below) show all the difference and they literally look like they are from different restaurants. Even if you run out of something, I'd rather you tell me instead of making me pay for subpar food. And if that wasn't the case and THIS IS THE NORMAL, then that is complete FALSE ADVERTISING! I have been so loyal to this place over these past few months and I'm mad that I'm going to have to go elsewhere because of this complete mess up tonight.

I always get food from here...decided to order UberEats spent MORE than $50 on food for them to NOT add any yellow sauce I ordered so much food and they are still stingy with their sauce..... not one yellow sauce in sight I ordered 4 meals!!!!!. Never again ordering from here. Siempre son tacaños con sus salsas amarillas, Una orden de MAS de $50 dólares Y ni Una salsa Amarilla... dice mucho de su negocio.

Spin Pollo is a hidden gem in the middle Falls Church at the intersection of Arlington Boulevard and Annandale Road! Do yourself a favor and check out the delicious Peruvian chicken, Carne Asada, subs, and sides this place has to offer! The owners and staff are super friendly and are always up to provide recommendations from the menu. They offer a unique fried yuca ball stuffed with cheese as a complimentary side to your meal. The chicken was seasoned well and cooked to perfection with juicy white and dark meat. The only one minor drawback was it took a little longer to prepare the food but it was worth it to get a nice hot and juicy meal with all the fixings. Very grateful that this business decided to participate in a Yelp event and I got an invite to participate. I've driven by this place so many times and have always overlooked it but will be making up for it moving forward. Price wise, everything was a little cheaper than the other Peruvian places I've seen which is another reason to make your way to Spin Pollo! Can't wait to try it again!

I work right next to Super Chicken, and if you know about Super Chicken you know they are the best in the area. However, Spin Pollo might be giving it a run for its money! My coworkers and I came for lunch and surprisingly no one was there. I ordered 1/2 chicken since I like to split them into 2 days and it was still delicious after I reheated it! The chicken was flavorful and juicy. The only thing that sucks is that the platanos and rice is a $1 extra. Also, the yellow sauce is not that great. Its very runny which makes me think they water down the sauce. I like the sauces a bit thicker so was very disappointed. My friend ordered the steak and cheese, which was actually very good! Horchata was delicious and it didn't have the cinnamon chunky residue on the bottom of the cup. The Lomo Saltado was eyeballing me last time I came but I'll be trying that next. Will definitely be back!

Favorite chicken place in the area, great food. Every time I have called ahead and placed an order it has been ready and correct when I picked it up.

-Please make sure all employees wear face mask probably. - You can't go wrong with Spin Pollo, really tasty grilled chicken with rice, beans & fried, just overall a delicious meal for a really good price. Can't go wrong for lunch or dinner. Definitely recommend this place. Will be back soon.

Not sure what the fuss is here. The rotisserie chicken was ok but on the dry side. Sides were solid. I would be willing to try something else there but don't understand the fuss yet.

*****3.5 stars***** Spin Pollo is a good restaurant to grab a meal if you are craving Peruvian chicken and in the area. Make sure you bring your patience, though. When we came for lunch during the week, we were told there was a 10 minute wait for the chicken. 20 minutes later the chicken was still spinning. At 25 minutes we went up to check on our orders, and it was only then they started making our meals. While we waited we tried the yuquita balls, which were basically fried yuca balls stuffed with cheese. They were crispy and fried well, but lacked flavor. Definitely needed a dipping sauce, salsa, or something to give it more flavor. When my meal was finally ready, the chicken more than made up for the wait. The skin was crispy and the meat was tender, juicy, and was seasoned well. For my two sides I got the steak fries and white rice. Both were good. No complaints about them, but nothing special either. When coming to Spin Pollo, definitely take advantage of their lunch special (quarter chicken, 2 sides, and a can of soda for $7.50...substitute bottled water for the can of soda for $1 more). The quarter chicken had plenty of meat and with the two sides, made for a very satisfying meal!
