I’ve been going here since I was a kid. The food and service is always fantastic. Their sandwiches and frozen foods made a delicious mark my childhood. Parking is easy, as long as you’re okay parking in the neighborhood and walking a block or two. I love their Colorado-based chip options too! I’m a glad this place survived the pandemic and I was able to return.

Delicious! It's a legit deli that you wish there were more of. It's like a movie. Online ordering was quick and easy. Muffaletta (sp) was 💣and loaded!

🥪 Spinelli’s Market: Roast Beef Sandwich Perfection 🥪 I stopped by Spinelli’s Market, and let me tell you, the roast beef sandwich was next-level amazing! 😍 Thinly sliced, tender roast beef paired with fresh ingredients and served on perfectly baked bread – every bite was bursting with flavor. You can taste the quality and care they put into crafting their sandwiches. 🔥 The vibe at Spinelli’s is equally incredible – a cozy neighborhood market with top-tier deli offerings and specialty goods. Whether you're grabbing lunch or stocking up on unique finds, this spot truly stands out. 💬 If you’re in Denver, do yourself a favor and try this sandwich. It’s a meal you won’t forget! 🙌 #SpinellisMarket #DenverEats #RoastBeefSandwich #FoodieAdventures #LocalFavorites #DeliPerfection #NeighborhoodMarket #FoodieFinds #MustTryEats

Google
Legitimately delightful. Their sandwiches are made to order and always very fresh and delicious. Great selection of fruit, snacks, sweet treats, groceries, etc. The service is always very nice and genuine. It's our favorite spot in the area.

Google
Good sandwiches. Fast and good services. They have plenty of ingredients and fresh produce to make a new cooked home made meal. They do have tables inside and a few outside probably depending on weather. Only downside is there’s no public restroom.

Google
Italian Deli & Market in one?! What's not to love about this place. The deli sandwiches are absolutely amazing. We tried the #1 Italian & #2 Roast beef and neither of them disappointed! I can't wait to go back to try more of their subs, especially their hot ones!

Google
Stopped by on a Saturday when I was in the area. Parking is street parking in the residential area surrounding it. The have a couple tables on the sidewalk in front and a couple tables inside. Place was busy especially at the deli in the back. Ordered a sandwich from the large options. Sandwiches come with a pickle and a piece of fruit. While I waited for the sandwich, I explored the store. Small selection of items but some interesting items. They make and sell their own brand of pasta sauces. Interesting. They also make what appears to be a rotating selection of take and bake meals like quiches and other items. I decided to buy the chicken green chile quiche and a dish labels Mexican lasagna with my sandwich. The sandwich was good and if in the area again, I would try another sandwich from the list. I would also get another quiche and seeing what other items are there. The quiche was delicious and the lasagna was very good too. Will though probably order the sandwich online to save time next time.

Google
A gem of a deli that has stood the test of time with a wide variety of quality Italian imported goods and prepared foods. The sandwiches are as packed with flavor as they are with ingredients. Looking forward to try more from Spinelli’s!

Yelp
Great sandwiches! Great place to stop after the zoo/museum. Awesome first experience - we'll be back

Yelp
This place is a grocery store and deli. Its pretty cute and has some outdoor seating. We came for the subs (located at the back of the store) and left with a bag full of stuff. The sandwiches were pretty decent in terms of flavor and size, but both of our sandwiches were pretty wet. I think if the bread was toasted, it would taste a little bit better and not be soggy. Id still come by for sammiches if I am in the mood for some good deli meat. The sandwich also comes with a free pickle and fruit of your choice! Everyone there was very nice and they had utensils and napkins.

Yelp
After brunch across the street, my friend and I stopped by Spinelli's Market. I wasn't really needing anything but I love a good specialty market. I grabbed some pasta sauce and frozen manicotti for an easy weeknight meal. The staff were super friendly and I definitely can't wait to come back and grab some easy lunch for a picnic.

Yelp
Fun little Italian market. Not necessarily my favorite in Denver but the sandwich's are good and the staff is nice.

Yelp
Oh my goodness whoever lives a few blocks away from this place I've never been more jealous of in my life! What an amazing deli/store! Everyone is so nice and so genuinely happy to be there. We ate multiple sandwiches while we were in town. The amount of fresh options and authentic food is intense! We wanted to buy absolutely everything. There was a cute lady working who convinced us to get some Caesar salads so they didn't have to throw them out! 10$ salads for 4.99! What a steal. We wish we got more pasta sauce, now we know for next time when we're in town!

Yelp
Recently had the opportunity to visit Spinelli's for a sandwich. I had high hopes for the deli based on reviews and I know I didn't have the traditional Italian so it could change my feelings if I tried that instead. Personally I felt a little unimpressed, these sandwiches were fine and did the job but didn't blow my mind away. Usually for such high reviews, I'd expect either to have the basics done EXCEPTIONALLY well or have something brand new and never seen that takes my breath away. I didn't find either of those things at Spinellis. I think they're likely a great local grocery and quick lunch deli but not something I would be running back to. Maybe another time the other sandwiches will make me feel different. Service was great and everyone inside was very kind and welcoming, there isn't a ton of seating to eat at the location so you may be better off with a picnic or take home.

Yelp
People are nice here. Love the California classic. However 2nd time in last 3 visits they make the wrong sandwich. I get home this time and realize it's the Colorado classic. I should have double checked their work before I left. I call and express my disappointment and they offer for me to drive back there to get the sandwich I ordered in the first place. Not a good option to rectify your mistake. I won't be back because the sandwich I got in error is mediocre.

Yelp
Can't believe it took me so long to come here. This cute market has a great variety of things to choose from including some fresh bouquets of flowers. My mom and I got the turkey sandwich and it comes with a side of Mac salad or banana. the sandwich was great with really good toppings. Everyone working here was so friendly. I will def be frequenting this place.

Yelp
We ordered two sandwiches and threw them away. They should be embarrassed. Each sandwich was soaking wet and soggy, pretty sure no employee there washes their hands. How you do one thing is how you do everything, if you can't make a sandwich id hate to see how you handle the rest of your life. The whole establishment is pathetic.

Yelp
Three decades in business, baby! Spinelli's Market is a local corner store and deli in Park Hill, specializing in all-things-Italian. They do have additional items on hand, however those seeking high quality pastas, sauces, cheeses, etc. will be at home here. I can assure you I was! Proud of my Italian-American heritage, it's a travesty that it took me three years to get here. I've driven by it dozens of times...there's no excuse. When my wife suggested it for my birthday lunch (knowing they have a deli) I was elated to feast on an Italian sandwich. Walking in reminded me of my favorite Italian markets, specifically similar style bodegas in New York. The deli is located in the back and if you're like me, it'll take you awhile to make it to the counter. I was ooing and ahhing over all my favorite cans of Cento, Sclafani, Bianco Diapoli, etc. Whole artichokes, cherry peppers, canned anchovies, it's all here. The deli menu is pretty diverse and not limited to Italian cold cuts. Around 20 subs if I remember correctly. However, I knew I wanted their classic Italian, Jerry's Classic Italian Sub (#1). This sandwich was wonderful. The usual suspects of Genoa Salami, Capicola and Smoked Ham were a joy to see. However, the two biggest takeaways were the roasted red peppers and marinated onions. I've eaten more Italian sandwiches than most, and I've never seen these both working in unison. As a roasted red pepper fan, I really like the addition. Additionally, the "ciabattini roll" was soft and flavorful, and the sandwich held up nicely. We ended buying some carrot cake and pantry items while we were there. It was gloomy out, but they actually have a few seats inside so we devoured our lunches inside. This place reminds me of my childhood and I'm so happy I finally got to experience it firsthand. Mangia!

Yelp
Ordered some sides for Thanksgiving. Decent with some doctoring. Pleased overall that they offer this service!

Yelp
Good Sandwiches. Fresh and good quality meats. Also serves pizza but haven't tried it yet. Lots of fresh and choices of ingredients to make a nice meal at home. Service was really nice and fast. They do have a few tables inside to eat and outside. Parking is very limited. Only downside of the place is there's no public restroom.

Yelp
Stopped here for the first time and it's such a cute little market and deli. Had a delicious Italian sub and my son had the caprese. Fast friendly service and solid Sammy's!

Yelp
The staff is always so nice... their sandwiches are wonderful. Buy some homemade mozzarella and you're going to have a great day.

Yelp
I used Spinelli's for catering for a holiday party and was very impressed. The chicken parm was delivered in a large platter over a bed of spaghetti and it was a bit hit with the crowd. The breasts were large and tender. Also ordered the veggie quiche- which was awesome. I ordered two and they both were demolished in short order. The folks were really nice to work with and I thought the prices were reasonable. I drove across town to get there and would use them again next year- so that should tell how pleased I was.

Yelp
Charming deli and neighborhood market with a wide array of groceries! The sandwiches here remind me of JP Grazianos in Chicago. We have had a few but my favorites are the Szechuan beef dip and muffuletta. Homemade Italian desserts like tiramisu! They have every soda, cbd drink, kombucha, and tea you can think of. Imported cheeses, spreads, chips, and bread from Italy. Super friendly service-a really unique spot!

Ashley G.

Yelp
We had a wonderful picnic at St. Mary's Glacier with the chicken salad on croissant and a California turkey sandwich. Loved that we get a free piece of fruit with a sandwich as well!

Yelp
Great local market and deli with delicious sandwiches. We stopped by and got picnic food to eat I. wash Park.

Yelp
We stopped here at Spinellis. I wanted the Jerrys Italian Sandwich since it looked so good. I got that sandwich, and I think my girl wanted a Park Hill Sub. She couldn't finish hers, and gave it to me lol. Their sandwiches were huge. Come here with a appetite. Sandwiches are a little pricey, but they are big enough to feed 2 people. Nice people working here, and cool restaurant.

Courtnee B.

Yelp
We ordered the Roast Beef & California Classic Pros: fresh produce & meat. Cons: Bread was very dry & stale on both sandwiches. Both were skimpy on produce. Pretty bland. Very underwhelming & EXTREMELY OVERPRICED.
google avatar

Shelley N.

Yelp
We ordered from the deli a muffuletta and split it. Grabbed some Rocky Mountain Sodas out of the cooler. The sandwich was ready in less than 2 minutes! Amazing!! Food and service excellent!! 2-3 tables inside the store. 3-4 tables outside the store. We ate our sandwich outside under the canopy cover. The ambiance is that of a neighborhood deli tucked into a bunch of houses. It's great!
google avatar

Jake K.

Yelp
Only ever purchased sandwiches here. Their grocery options look great but I have yet to get anything. Good sandwich options, nice and filling with good breads and meats/cheeses. Solid prices. Staff is attentive and quick, make a darn good Italian sub. Had several different sandwiches and all have been great.

Yelp
Have you had a sandwich at Spinelli's Market? If the answer is no get in your vehicle and drive over right away. They are a hidden gem in Park Hill and the sandwiches especially are the BOMB! With a menu of 15+ choices plus create your own there's no shortage of choices. The meat and cheeses are high quality brands and all of the breads they use are fresh and tasty. My Italian Roast Beef was $12.99 before tax. No it's not an inexpensive sandwich. Yes it is very filling (two could easily share one sandwich and be satisfied) It does come with a pickle but chips or other sides are extra. There was so much roast beef on the sandwich (see picture). The marinated onions & peppers had vinegary flavor and the provolone cheese complements the other flavors. With lettuce, tomato and house dressing this sandwich is just a delight. I also love the aubergine almonds made fresh with oil, chilies and spices. So addictive. Spinellis also offers other market goods. They are higher end brands so this is not a replacement for King Soopers/Safeway.

Yelp
We were heading to the zoo and wanted to do a local sandwich spot over fried zoo food. This spot looked like it had some good options and was super close, so we swung by. First of all, it's so welcoming! The woman at the front was so nice and talkative. The atmosphere was so inviting, like a local market your family owns, very inviting. For the market section, they had a lot of awesome, high quality products - if I was local, I could definitely see myself shopping here. As for the sandwiches....omg. When I said they seemed like they had some good options? Scratch that. They had phenomenal options. They had SO MANY types of meats, cheeses, and breads to choose from, AND whoever made their menu? They're a genius. Everything sounds SO good and like it paired so well, they know what they're doing. We ended up getting the Tuscan and the classic Italian sub and holy cow, I would literally eat sandwiches here ALL THE TIME if we lived local. I'm actually really jealous of the locals. Highly, highly recommend. Great spot, great food. I'm drooling right now just writing the review.

Yelp
Amazing Italian sandwich! The Italian sandwich was packed with flavor and they were not stingy with the fillings. The sandwich was dripping with their house dressing, adding to the flavor. The sandwich came with a small side. I did mine as a to go order with a decent commute home, which I would not recommend due for the dressing making the bread not as crisp when I got home. You order your sandwich within a small market, so there isn't seating inside to eat. Will definitely be coming back!

Missy S.

Yelp
We picked up some gourmet sandwiches and received complimentary fruit with our order. Great selection of chips and gourmet Italian ingredients. Great service.
google avatar

Scott M.

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp while looking for a good deli sandwich and when I went here that's exactly what I got. The bread alone is noteworthy. So many places just don't offer the kind of bread that a sandwich really needs in order to realize its full potential. This place does. Aside from the deli/sandwich counter in the back they also serve as somewhat of a grocery store. A full host of options from basic things you might need in a pinch, to a well curated selection of speciality items that may not be so easy to find in a typical grocery store. The service is consistent and friendly. The prices are right. Will definitely return.
google avatar

Marr'ee V.

Yelp
Nice little spot my sandwich wasn't what I was expecting. But they sale house made chips which I love

Sommer S.

Yelp
*Pricey sandwiches* but damn are they good! The service is quick and they let you add/subtract as you wish. They offer delicious gluten-free bread as well, so all my GF friends love this spot too. Due to the prices ($13-$20/ sandwich!), we don't come often, but we've never had a bad meal. They also sell limited fruits, veggies & some shelf staples (mostly Italian food focused :-) as well as some yummy grab-n-go dinners like eggplant parm or ravioli, though these are also pricey.
google avatar

Nancy D.

Yelp
Just what we needed in this area!...Sandwiches are delicious hopefully it stays this way and doesn't start slacking like cedar creek pub....we are happy you are here!...
google avatar

Mike W.

Yelp
Done ordering sandwiches from them. Ordered a $15 pastrami, Swiss,L,T, etc. Showed up at the park to eat my dinner and had a super plain sandwich, no L or T, skimpy pastrami. Second time my sandwich has been a disaster. Done.
google avatar

Kelly O.

Yelp
The classic Italian may be the best sandwich in Denver. Only mad it's taken me so long to check this place out. Traveling tonight or I would have stocked up on groceries as well. Can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Apple S.

Yelp
I honestly have a hard time forming an opinion. It's a neighborhood store with a lot of character. It's beautiful. They have a lot. There's parking up front. Their sandwiches look amazing. Mine was ok, not great not bad. Would like to try another to see if I'm blown away then. It if you're into Italian delicacies then this is definitely your spot!
google avatar

Jordan H.

Yelp
$40 for a sandwich, salad, homemade chips and a soda.. Sandwich was good but nothing to write home about, and the Cesar dressing tasted like straight up mayo. I ended up not even eating it. You get a pickle and fruit with your sandwich, the pickle was ok. The homemade chips were also mediocre. The place reminded me of a more expensive Whole Foods. I was expecting some more authentic Italian products but they just had pretty known brands for a higher price. The staff were very friendly though. Over all the food is ok but not worth the price.

Anne W.

Yelp
Great reputation. Good food choices. Wish it was closer!! See ya soon. Will you deliver?? I have no car.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
Small neighborhood market with great Italian products. Appreciated the mint and basil sold by the pound. Pasta selection was on point and bread offerings from breadworks as well as $3.99 focaccia - yes please. Was there on a Friday and plenty of regulars are ordering their sandwiches at the deli and enjoying them outside at some small tables - I was jealous, and had to resist the urge! A local start up had samples of their granola bars - yes I appreciate supporting your vendors like that! Pricey, and limited for a full trip but perfect for specialty needs or a quick staple, will go again!
google avatar

Judy L.

Yelp
Very friendly local market. This review is for the sandwiches -- they were just ok. We ordered two diff sandwiches and both of them ended up being made with breads that were diff from what were listed on the menu. We figured it was part of the local sandwich spot's charm and didn't bring them back. Staff was very friendly. Lovely seating area right in front of the store.
google avatar

Melissa A.

Yelp
The perfect neighborhood market. We stop in every few weeks. I wouldn't do my bulk shopping here, but it's great for specialty items, deli sandwiches, premade homestyle dinners, and treats. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They also have great hanging flower baskets in the spring/summer!
google avatar

Colby C.

Yelp
Stopped by to grab a sandwich and the tuna sandwich is amazing! Huge and the tuna has so much good flavor! Cute market with lots of options for fresh made sandwiches.
google avatar

Letty A.

Yelp
We picked up a couple of sandwiches for our concert at Red Rock - what a gem! I was skeptical of their use of ciabatta roll for the Italian sandwich, but given how "wet" it was, it works. They packed and traveled well in my string bag. They were well wrapped in butcher paper. The pickled onions (and the quality of the meats and cheese) made the sandwiches special. You also get a pickle from the refrigerator in a baggie and a piece of fruit. Do yourself a favor next time you want a sandwich or you're going on a picnic and stop here!

Paula S.

Yelp
Went to Spinellis for the first time since before Covid. Used to buy a variety of cheeses, produce and dry goods. Also the sandwiches were delicious. Now the store and deli have little to offer, appeared barren and what they do have is very overpriced. Why would I purchase pasta for 11.99 that I can find online for 5.99 which includes delivery ? Ordered a sandwich and found not only was the " baguette " a new tasteless poor quality bread but the meat was tasteless and a very small portion...meat to bread ratio 1:4? The 2 stars are for the staff who work at the store/deli....Lovely as always and deserve 5 stars, food 1. Mary Ellen and Jerry Spinelli wouldn't be caught dead charging these prices and delivering poor quality and tasteless sandwiches. Sad.
google avatar

Ben W.

Yelp
Great sandwich. Cool specialty market with a great selection of stuff. Prices are on the higher side for sure. Ambiance is cool.
google avatar

Rachel F.

Yelp
Their fresh pizza dough is great! I was able to find guanciale there and they were kind enough to offer to the hold their last one in stock for the day until I arrived. Next time I will spend a little more time looking at their imported goods from Italy
google avatar

Sarah G.

Yelp
Dropped by this inviting little Italian grocery after having a coffee at the cafe across the street. Spinelli's has a hip and put-together feel to it, with speciality grocery items from various countries, but with the fresh options being largely Italian (homemade pizza dough, pasta, speciality deli etc.) Staff was very welcoming and willing to share knowledge and recommendations. Prices are a bit higher than a typical grocery store, but that's to be expected at a small speciality shop like this.
google avatar

Johnny U.

Yelp
Very cute and charming market with the deli in the back with a few tables to sit and enjoy your sandwich. The market had a lot of variety of foods and a large drink selection. Totally reminded me of some of the markets back east. I need you guys to move to a S. Pearl St..
google avatar

Hilary W.

Yelp
Spinelli's Market was one of the first places I went to after moving here over 4 years ago. This girl loves herself a local neighborhood deli. Located in the heart of Park Hill you will find this incredible spot. They offer pre-made ready to eat meals, cuts of meats, in house made pesto and sauces, freshly made sandwiches, and so much more. I can't come here too often because I leave with everything - IE multiple sandwiches, a pre made pasta dish, and chips - every time. Today I got the park hill sub & California classic sandwiches, chips, and the chicken Florentine cannelloni (which is a new item might I add). They are SO FRESH. The bread is always light and airy, especially that onion roll. They have hawaiian chips which we all know are the best chips. I haven't tried the cannelloni yet, but I've never had a pre made dish I didn't thoroughly enjoy. This place is always worth the trek. The workers are super nice and attentive. And they have a lot of brands to offer that you might not be able to find elsewhere.

Lisa S.

Yelp
Great sandwiches! Like homemade but when you don't want to buy all of the ingredients yourself. Good service too
google avatar

Alisha H.

Yelp
This is such a cute store! I got the Jerry's classic which is really good, the picture did not do it justice. I like that you can order half sandwiches, for me it was perfect. Will definitely come back here.
google avatar

Ingrid U.

Yelp
Amazing sandwiches! LOVE the Park Hill sub! Great value for the size. It could feed two people. The market is a little pricey, but it is nice to have a local market steps from your home instead of having to drive to a grocery store. They have good options all around - perishable/non-perishable food. Plus a small area with limited tables/chairs inside and out. The best part is the staff. They are always so nice and friendly. When we can, we like to support local businesses and this is a locally owned/operated family business.
