The staff was very nice and the place is run down but overall it was a good time. It was $44 for two adults included skates. My bf didn’t said his skates were really tight and it was hard for him to skate. Mine were fine. Everything felt very sticky and the parking lot was a hot mess but it’s a local skate business that is trying! They had a couple parties going on and all the kids looked very happy. They played games and gave away prizes- just good vibes!

*Update* As of a month to this date. A dedicated rink guard has been established and the rink is much safer. The stars will reflect as such. I needed a few days to process everything before I wrote this review. I want this review as unbiased as possible. I was a regular at Spinners for over a year. From the first few weeks I met George. I could tell that this rink compared to the rest of the rinks in the area was more rooted in community and family values. There was some regulars for the most part but for about 7 to 8 months, traffic was fairly stagnant. As my relationship grew with the staff. They found out my occupation as a firefighter and a tradesmen. We both at the time had a strong relationship based on trust and safety which included the wellbeing of the children that are patrons of the establishment. I am sad to say, that this in my opinion is no longer the case. I'll elaborate more on this soon. However, I find it prudent that I establish a foundation of my involvement with Spinners and it's community before I explain my review. (For authenticity sake.) As the months went on I became well known within the skating community at Spinners as a trusted father figure to more than 2 dozen skaters both teenagers and adults. I used my experience as a skating instructor to not only teach these skaters how to skate safety but also on building confidence and skills that will make them excellent members of society when they become adults. Some of these kids don't have father figures so they looked up to me since I am in my mid 30's. I experienced plenty of wisdom and hardships throughout my life and I used this knowledge to prepare these young skaters for the times ahead. I also helped repair the establishment on my spare time in an attempt to restore Spinners to it's former glory. I have also provided my services as an EMT to injured skaters on multiple occasions. I did all of these things because I genuinely believed that this establishment was more than a place to skate. Spinners was a community where people can skate safely as well as experiencing the skating values of the 90's. For the past 2 to 3 months. Spinners has consistently had more patrons which on it's surface is a great thing but this has come at the cost of less structure on the rink to allow skaters to skate safely. The safety aspect has to this day been completely neglected and as a result; I have had many situations where I have had to assess injuries ranging from sprained wrists, ankles, and even one incident where a skater had a severe concussion to the point he was unconscious. In Lieu of these issues, I explained to George that he needed a dedicated rink guard on many occasions to control the flow of traffic on the rink and to adhere to common sense skating practices to keep the kids safe. My consul went on deaf ears which lead to the boiling point incident on March 23rd 2025. The time was around 3:15PM when the rink was so out of control that an incident happened. Due to google review word limit I cannot elaborate but I saved my story in case anyone is interested. The incident led to George telling a large amount of his regulars including myself that "if we have a problem with the way the rink is. Then don't come." At that moment I knew that Spinners was no longer a safe place for skaters. Spinners is by all accords a family oriented skate rink. George and the rest of the staff are good people but overworked thus prone to making poorly thought out decisions. I also think the rink is being undermined by greed and a fundamental lack of basic skating etiquette/practices. These problems to my knowledge and experience do not occur at any other rink nearly as consistently as Spinners does. It pains me that I refuse to go to a rink that I once called home because I no longer can be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of it's patrons.

I hate writing bad reviews but this place is definitely something. I remember coming to this place many years ago. I can honestly say, the place is so outdated and run down that I Hesitated approaching this place. I really thought that Google took me to this discontinued business. Like hello Google did you not know that this place closed to my utter shock this place was open and in business . There were people inside I could not believe it. I definitely will not recommend that unless you’re looking for a cheap alternative to entertain your kids and all other places have shutdown.

It's still there.... Given that there's only 3 roller rinks left in all of WNY, I surmise that it's a hard business to keep going. That said, I won't ding spinners for being outdated, expensive, or in rough shape as others might. It's there, it's good enough, and I'm grateful for that. I was able to take my sons skating today and they had a blast! Will definitely plan to return on the next rainy day when we have nothing to do.

We recently had a private birthday party for my daughter here for the first time and when I say the service was amazing, it really was!! The lady who hosted us was by herself and did an amazing job servicing us. She took care of everything in a timely manner. The price to rent the building plus the pizza, drinks, and service was overall a really great price. I will definitely be coming back here for any future parties! 😊

I have been a loyal customer of this establishment for many years, since I was 11 years old. The owner is a friendly and accommodating individual who is dedicated to restoring the establishment to its former glory. Unfortunately, he has had to temporarily halt the renovation work due to a recent surgery.

I think it's a great place for the kids during xmas break they are open every day the cover charge is so affordable ,the staff was super friendly and couple of the guys were teaching my grandson to roller skate backwards I thought that was cool . Parking is a bit tricky and the lot has some big pot holes but they are working on improving some things . I love that it's close to home also .

I've been wanting to come to adult night for a while and finally came with some friends. We had a great time, especially me! I was out there for nearly the full 3 hours ... a lot sweatier than I was a quarter century ago when I last was going to skate nights LOL but it didn't interrupt my fun! The admission without skates is $12, a locker rental $3. I'm not sure how much to rent skates as I had my own. The locker was a generous size and held many items including my gym bag I carried my skates in, small purse, phone, socks, towel, jacket and shoes. There was still some room to spare. I didn't have any food, but I noticed there was a candy case, pizza, and wings. Some other items on the menu too but I didn't take note. There is a DJ and I will say I made a request and he was very nice and he did play my song. There are people on the floor who will help you if you're having trouble skating, as well as "walkers" on wheels to hold onto (I don't know what they're called). It wasn't a huge place; the rink is smaller than others I have been too but still it was ok. There's no "extras" like arcade games or mini golf - you can skate or watch people skate lol I love to skate so no big deal and it was nice to get exercise that doesn't feel like exercise! I will happily come here again sometime and wish I had a skating rink in my area but no matter what I would have to drive somewhere because there isn't so I'll come again in the future.

We attended a birthday party here, and it was my first time. The place appears to have not been renovated since the 1960s. The prices are very reasonable, and it was a nice time. I spent a lot of my time just trying to imagine how things may have looked and felt like visiting this place in the 1970s and so, when we weren't all so attached to our phones, technology, and other forms of entertainment. Signage on the bathrooms could be better, and we almost missed the driveway as the exterior sign was possibly out or just really dim. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. This was my second time roller skating, but if you grew up in an era which did, I'd highly suggest visiting this place as I promise that it'll bring some nostalgia. I can't say that people will.be roller skating 20 years from now, or if this place will even be open in 10 years, so visit while you can.

Angelo and the other guys that work here couldn't have been more kind and helpful for my nephews birthday party! All the kids had an absolute blast- there was no shortage of "walkers" to help them skate around (thank goodness) and the pizza and lemonade hit the spot after all the skating. The place is definitely a well-loved roller rink but honestly it was a great experience all around.

First time here with my granddaughters and this place is horrible. Only one worker. No DJ. No anything. No lights. Horrible. It stinks. They are playing 1980s slow music(at a skating rink) wtf! This place is trash. I came here because it was closer to me but I rather take the ride to Rainbow Rink from now on. Disgusting here!! KIds are skating in the damn dark!! Smh!!!

The last time I was here was when I almost cut my back open because of the sharp corners. It was fun but they literally wouldn't put on any music that we requested! Like the lady wouldn't put on Love Story by Talor Swift! We will see if it is better when I go back this weekend.

I came here for the 90s bash with a friend. It had been a decade since I last laced up a pair of roller skates. It wasn't too crowded the Saturday night that I was here, and the rink itself wasn't congested or anything; people were pretty respectful of each other's skill levels and space. The $12 ticket includes unlimited skate plus skate rental. I think it is a good deal. They play nostalgic 99s and early 2000 jams the entire night, so if you don't like busting a move to some Lil Bow Wow, Backsteet Boys, or Ja Rule, this adult skate night isn't for you.

Great family owned business with owners who's hard work and dedication to the business really shows. Cant wait to see all the improvements made after they finish up the remodel.

This place is probably below average compared to the other skating rinks. The staff here yelled at my kids for no reason at all. They wouldn't even give us an explanation. The pizza was decent. The place was fun for my kids they just hated the staff. The music playing though had all types of curse words and stuff my kids shouldn't be hearing at their age. It was an ok experience but I was a little disappointed

Just attended a Birthday skating party here and was very impressed.Dont let the outside appearance deter you it's MUCH nicer inside! Cool old fashioned skating rink vibe.Fantastic music choices and sound system quality.The folks who own and operate it were very friendly and helpful .The prices are very reasonable and the pizza is acceptable.

This place is not fun at all. They were playing explicit music with all types of words in it. The outside shows what the inside looks like. They also had to call people up to return skates because they didn't have enough. I was very very disappointed about driving 40 minutes to get here and have such a bad place.
