"Coronado-based Greek restaurant Spiro’s serves Mediterranean options from platters to salads and family-style meals. For example, a salmon platter will run $23 and comes with a choice of rice pilaf or fries, a side Greek salad, pita and tzatziki. Family-style meals feed four people, come with sides, and range from $44 to $55; choose the lamb and beef, or chicken gyro; or beef, lamb, or chicken kabobs. The family-run restaurant also welcomed a La Jolla location in Fall 2020." - Ligaya Malones

Nice little place on the bay. The lamb kabob platter was large, and the portion of fried fish was two slab! The homemade tarter sauce was excellent. Nice breeze coming off the water was great! Would definitely try the gyros next time.

As has been said before, food was ok. They basically reutalized the same ingredients for my husband's chicken kabob vs my chicken salad. Tahini sauce was bland but service was nice. Overpriced wine as well. Only difference was I had olives, and he didn't. If you want ok food with a nice view then this would be the place. Oh, PS, no bathroom it's located somewhere close in the plaza I never bothered to investigate.

Great little casual Mediterranean spot. Walk up to order and they give you a number and you seat yourself. Indoor and patio seating available. Easy no fuss and good food. They also have wine and beer. Would def come back. Parking may be difficult during summer months on weekends but there are large lots nearby.

It's a walk-in, order first, take a number and a seat. Greek food. It's right on the water so the views are really nice when you're sitting outside. Perfect for lunch.

Whether you choose to sit inside with the windows wide open, letting the ocean breeze flow through, or on the patio with stunning views of San Diego Harbor, dining at Spiro's Mediterranean Cuisine is a delightful experience. The food is exceptional! We had the lamb and chicken kabobs, which were seasoned beautifully and cooked to perfection. The Spanakopita was also a standout, featuring a delicious mix of spinach and feta cheese nestled between delicate layers of flaky phyllo dough, served with a refreshing side of tzatziki. The Saganaki, a flaming Greek cheese dish, was a real showstopper. Kasseri cheese set aflame made for a fantastic presentation and was incredibly tasty. It was served with warm pita bread and lemon wedges, enhancing the flavor even more. The Roasted Red Pepper Feta Dip was good, though it was my least favorite among the various items we tried. It included warm pita, roasted red peppers, garlic, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and chili flakes. Overall, Spiro's offers a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and a charming atmosphere.

The prices seemed a little high, but the food was pretty good. The service was friendly and attentive. The location is on beautiful Coronado Island very near the Coronado Ferry landing. There are other restaurants and little shops nearby so it's a great area to eat and do a little shopping.

Lovely cafe in the heart of Coronado's Ferry Landing shopping and dining district. Patio out back has a great view of the bay, and even the interior feels light and breezy. Staff were friendly, and food was ready quick! Ordered a gyro sandwich and gyro fries; both were great! Fries were good quality, and everything was super flavorful.
