Lovely place had an arranged feeding and the animals were so friendly and approachable so well mannered and behaved, the lady who guided us around was lovely polite and knowledgeable. And I really bonded with their golden Guernsey and Anglo Nubian Goat both so cuddly and affectionate. They have loads of rare breeds when I come back I will take some photos of the goats.

Brilliant place with happy animals and staff. Free to enter but throw them a donation on your way out to help feed the animals. I wasn't sure at first with 'farm' in the name, but this is more of an animal sanctuary taking care of rescues and rare breeds. We were lucky enough to meet Mustard the ferret while he was being attended to. If the cafe is open you could spend an afternoon here, it's also got a private hire venue where there was a children's birthday party being held which looked like a fun wholesome way to celebrate. Sadly the cafe was closed when we were here, we would've loved to try the food and have a coffee - maybe next time!

Super cute nature bubble in the centre of London 🌳 The vibe is really chill, you will see some amazing plantations and then there’s quite a few animals living there as well (donkeys, sheep, rabbits, ducks, guinea pigs, etc..) They all looked healthy and quite friendly Was a really nice afternoon and a super address to keep

An excellent place for a date or to take your family. Spitalfields City Farm is charity run and community grown, featuring a variety of well cared for ducks, goats, rabbits and more. The best part is being able to interact with the animals! You can tell that due diligence and care have been put in to ensure each animal is comfortable and healthy - they are happy to welcome respectful, curious visitors. Do give this a visit if you're in the area.

We visited this city farm after the art of brick exhibition at the boiler house. Recommend it to families as there are a variety of animals to see and lovely plants and vegetables to look at. You can buy their produce as well at the farm shop. A small play area for children with outdoor toys where the cute bug hotel is.

Such a lovely place! Visited it today for the first time and I’ll be coming back for sure. Lots of veggies, fruit and herbs are being grown and so many happy animals are being taken care of. You can enjoy a tour of the farm and even try delicious goods that are being prepared with their own produce. Highly recommended especially for families!

Very lovely farm, donkeys, pigs, goats and sheep, and a cute farm cat. Visited for a cute Christmas market with local vendors, and got myself a beautiful magnet from the gift shop.

Cute city farm, a hidden gem in Shoreditch. Several gardens and animals like chicken, duck, goat, donkey, pig, etc. with many seating areas, cafe and shop. A good place for family, quite child friendly.

Yelp
What a fantastic way to spend a day out, and it's not just for little kids. They have a cafe that sells tea and cafes and sandwiches as well as a play pen for the little ones. But what is so great about this place is the big fat piggy that loves to eat apples (but no you're not allowed to feed him) and has the longest eyelashes EVER! The piggy spend most of her morning scratching herself against her tree - very cute! There are ducks, chickens, donkeys and more....basically it does exactly what it says on the tin - it's a farm.

Yelp
My boyf' and I were looking for somewhere to go on a lazy Sunday afternoon with a friend who was visiting for the weekend. After scanning an "out and about" review listing, we stumbled upon a "Strawberry Fayre" that Spitalfields City Farm was hosting. The review suggested heading down to the farm with a picnic and blanket to enjoy many delights including a strawberry salad recipe demonstration, storytelling and strawberry hunt! The farm was a little tricky to find on a first visit, and especially given I'd only briefly looked at the address before leaving home! The nearest tube is Whitechapel and apparently it's well signposted from there. Unfortunately, I confidently told our group Old St was the closest tube, so we had a 20min walk - oops! As there's no signs on that route we had to ask directions. Lesson learnt. Definitely use Whitechapel if it's your first time! Back to the farm...it's a real mix of cultivated vegetable patches, flower beds, conservation areas, children's activity areas and of course, pens and fields for the animals. We saw donkey rides for the kids, pigs taking shelter from the sunshine in huge stys and although we didn't see them, I believe there's ponies, goats, rabbits and sheep too! The whole area is well tended, colourful and a tranquil space away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby streets and Brick Lane. The day was great for everyone to enjoy (kids, adults and families alike) and even though their website suggested taking a picnic, after Saskia's brilliant strawberry salad demo, we were all invited to take a plate and dive in. Which we did with great gusto after seeing all the delicious types of leaves she'd used which were grown in the farm's own gardens. It was a really enjoyable day and so good to be in London, but to have all the fun of being "down on the farm!". It's free to enter and I highly recommended a visit. Although the farm is funded by lottery and local funding, it's still a project which needs huge investment to keep going, so once you've visited, please consider supporting them further with a donation. These farms offer so much to inner city dwellers. It would be so sad to see their demise.

Yelp
OHMYLIFE I LOVE THIS FARM! my boyfriend and i are both animal fanatics, there is no denying it. we love to visit city farms, and this one is just delightful. the people volunteering there are friendly and obviously passionate about what they do which is great to see. they have the friendliest assortment of farm animals you could ever wish for. lovely purry meowing moggies that love a stroke, pigs that make the funniest noises i've ever heard pigs to make, a sweet donkey, goats that love being petted behind the ear, and the friendliest sheep i have EVER had the pleasure of meeting. he was fluffy and adorable, and followed us around begging for more strokes. I LOVED HIM! i will be probably be making treks in the future just to come here and visit with my sheep pal!

Yelp
As a person who grew up on a small farm, I always find city farms a bit amusing. It's more like a petting zoo, really. But this place is great fun. Free to visit (donations appreciated) and lots of types of animals - both traditional farm and traditional pet - to see and interact with. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I love Spitalfields City Farm , I use to volunteer there for a few months , learned a lot about permaculture and growing Vegetables. I have bought from them most of my seeds and plants and all of them came out just great. They have lots of activities going on for adults and kids and they are supporting the local Bangladeshi community which is just amazing!!!

Yelp
Came here for the Oxford and Cambridge Goat Race and had a wonderful time. The farm had a lovely environment and the event was great, and at a reasonable price!

Yelp
Really lovely, surprisingly spacious city farm with donkeys, goats, saddleback and ginger (definitely not the correct name but they're lovely!) pigs, sheep, cats and lots and lots of ducks and hens, which you can feed. When we went last weekend there were 2 10-day old goats :D get there soon though - they're growing really quickly! Also can't rate the breakfast and veggie breakfast highly enough! You can also buy fresh eggs and raw goat's milk (incredible for homemade goat's cheese!) in the café. :)
