New Orleans Restaurants Are Closing or Cutting Hours Due to the Heat | Eater New Orleans

"One of New Orleans's first specialty coffee shops, Spitfire Coffee has reopened in the French Quarter for the first time since closing its St. Peter Street location in 2022; it's now operating with temporary limited hours at 307 Exchange Place (Thursday–Sunday, 8 a.m.–2 p.m.), and a sample daily coffee lineup is available." - Clair Lorell

Best coffee I've ever had ( and I live in Seattle). I had Las Tres Floras. When you go to take a sip the scent of rose petals makes you close your eyes, slow down, and just appreciate how it hits the senses. It's genuinely an experience not just a drink. It's the most perfect balance of skillful hands and passionate creativity. Like no other. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best coffee in New Orleans! Spitfire Coffee delivers on flavor – rich, bold, and super satisfying. The barista was friendly, fun, and super patient while we decided. If you’re a coffee lover visiting NOLA, this cozy little spot is a must!

Best coffee in French Quarter NOLA. Quaint/quiet walking street makes this an amazing respite from the bustle of the area. Spitfire is for those who care about really good coffee. Meaning, they put care into bean selection roast style, grind consistency, and measured/specific brewing standards. European style coffee bar, expecting you to sip there or grab and go. Amazing pour over Expect fun conversation from locals while you enjoy your coffee. Thank you and I can't wait to see stop in on my next visit to NOLA.

Crazy busy this weekend because of the Eras Tour and these guys kept it super pro. Honestly one of the smoothest lattes I’ve ever had in my life. Top 3 of all time. Keep up the great work!

Love, love love this coffee bar. It's super small and local that's a one man team run by the owner. I've had 3 different coffees from this shop and each was delicious but my favorite is the Mexican Vanilla Latte. Highly recommend if you want something located down a cute alley and not too busy. That said, the wait is worth it.

Really nice little cute cafe on St. Peter street with some solid espresso drinks. The cafe is pretty small so it's easy to miss it while walking along the street but look for the spitfire coffee sign and you will strike gold. Their lattes and cappuccinos are really strong and rich. The rose petals sprinkled on the lavender milk latte gives it a nice flavor and aroma. All in all, this is a really good coffee shop with awesome espressos and very courteous staff. We would certainly be visiting again for their espressos and whole heatedly recommend it to others!

Spitfire is the perfect little spot to java up and slow down. Little patio with music down the alley. Or hang inside with Scott - he'll give you some local hot tips on what to check out. Awesome coffee and vibe overall.

Google
A utilitarian little place. Nothing fancy, nothing exciting…but very good coffee. My cortado was extremely fragrant and satisfying! Would appreciate somewhere to sit, but I understand the purpose they serve. If you want a quick coffee to go that will be a flavorful addition to your day, highly recommended.

Yelp
The best local coffee we've had only most recent trip to NOLA, They do specialty pour overs and espresso based drinks, including decaf options. European style coffee bar best suited for sip and go!

Yelp
I went here on a Sunday morning and although the coffee shop is a bit small, there are a couple seats within the cafe, some in an interestingly enclosed alleyway, and outside. The inside is cute and it was also nice to sit outside. The coffee bar seemed like a one man job, but it was very good! We got the mexican vanilla latte and a cappuccino and we both enjoyed our drinks! We also appreciated the latte art! I will admit that there isn't an overhead sign for the place, so be on the lookout for a sign on the ground.

Yelp
A very quaint and charming shop with quick service and quality coffee. I was very glad to have found Spitfire on my last day in New Orleans.
