Ordered online and picked up. Website was easy to navigate, and they offer some discounts when you create an account. Food was yummy, however ordered a combo with a Greek but there was no dressing on or on the side of the salad which was disappointing. When I walked in the terrace had a nice vibe and cocktails looked yummy.

We usually love getting food from spitz but recently, our fried pitas have only included the end pieces. They weren’t like that a few months ago! Has anyone else experience this ?? What’s going on

I Loved the food and the fact that it was quite easy to select something that was in line with my dietary restrictions. I love that there are plenty of vegetarian/ vegan options as well. This was the first time I ate from Spitz but Oh my goodness, it was ALL super delicious. Because of this awesome experience, I’d hate to not rate the atmosphere as a 5 because even though I ordered delivery, I can tell this place is just great and I wouldn’t want to leave this section unrated or at a low rating for no reason. You guys are awesome and I can’t wait to actually dine-in. Thank you!!

I always order to go when I come in, honestly almost changed my mind bc the atmosphere was really lovely, the workers were very sweet and the food is always amazing!! The cashier and bartender very very sweet. Love the outdoor and indoor seating and the artwork. Honestly I'll be bringing my friends here. The food does take a minute but honestly that just means I get to enjoy the atmosphere and the wait is always worth bc the food is incredible!! Everyone absolutely deserves a raise and praise for the hard work they do!

I love coming here! The food is always exceptional. I might always get the vegan döner basket, but at least I get it with both kinds of fries! Sweet potato waffle-cut fries and the house fries. 🤤🤤 So good! The Mediterranean dressing is phenomenal. Spitz hits all the right buttons. The food is on point, no worries there. The service is always good. You order at the bar, grab a table, and bus your own dishes. Standard. The staff is really sweet and always knowledgeable about dishes and drinks. Super glad they serve "fake beer" as my server last night kept emphasizing. 🤣 And the atmosphere is really fantastic. When the weather is nice, like it is right now, they roll up the garage door, bump the jams, and keep pumping out the vibes. Have you seen the chandelier? Unlike any other I've seen. I really should have taken a picture of it. But would a picture have done it justice? Not a chance. Go see it for yourself! And bring your friends, I've been here three or four times in the last month. I came here with my parents when they came to visit, with my partner a few days later, and again with a couple friends last night after Porchfest. 😅 Don't be a dummy like me, download the Spitz app and get points on your orders.

Normally, I'm not one for chains, but after looking at their menu,I knew I had to try it. And it absolutely slaps! There was so much that I wanted to try, and my only regret is that I don't live closer to try more. The food is so flavorful I would highly recommend it.

This food is SOOOO FREAKING GOOD! I'm not a foodie, but this yummy food makes me so happy and giddy I think I need to reassess my life. Seriously! Because of their fantastic food, caution when ordering pickup. Even on a Monday, when ordering and the app says soonest pickup time is 45 minutes, or an hour? Believe them. I thought, 'Ahh, I'm sure it'll be like 20 mins' and came in. I was shocked at the number of orders were flying out of there in front of my eyes! Maybe 25 to go orders before mine came out! My order was right on time from when the app said it would be. What I didn't know was that I could have just sat in my comfy car and waited. They send you a text when the food is ready. I think that information is missing from the ordering pickup instructions. My only other complaint is about that baklava dessert. The picture shows a few of them on a plate, but you just get one small one. Not like the picture at all. I couldn't have 2? It tastes good, but when you think your getting what's in the picture, one small piece is a tease. Great taste though. No complaints about the food at all! I came here one other time and they were playing the Crock LP (Sam Coomes from Quasi). I thought, ok, who's the cool employee that is spinning this LP? I only bumped a star because the atmosphere waiting and being around the to go table was over stimulating and not a very calm or nice place to wait. Although, you can say that is partially on me. ❤️

This is our go-to restaurant when we want delicious, healthy food. So many delicious options. I love their salads, their bowls, and oh wow, such yummy french fries. What do they put on them? There are no boring bowls here, they are loaded with flavor and healthy goodness. When we order takeout, it comes in easy eco-friendly packaging and they're open late too. I love everything about this place.

Happy New Year! Stopped in on New Year's day to meet family. I was very surprised with the menu. We ate too much food which is a sign of good food. Everything was cooked perfectly. Seasoned to perfection. The young lady serving us was very cool. The restaurant wasn't crowded, especially after the NYE's parties. She was fresh and prepared for any amount of people. She explained the menu, which had some different than usual items on it than I was used to eating. The fries with gyro meat was one. The was right about them being great. The music, the decorations were all on point. My first time was a good time. I will be back again.

I love this place, the food is all so good (especially the pita chips) and it's pretty reasonable. The service was amazing and I love that there's outdoor seating.

We came - We sat - We Ate!!! We had the fun opportunity to meet up with different family member (while a few were in town) to have an early lunch together. WE had never been here before. Awesome vibe.It was welcoming, casual but a bit quirky, Ok, very Portland. On this day (New Years Day) there seemed to be a lot of Uber or delivery pickups. The menu is a great mix of Mediterranean but with a bit of a fusion mix. I really had fund figuring out what I wanted to eat. A gyro lamb wrap and chicken wings and oh - I guesses we ate our daughter's order of Gyro Lamb fries (oops - did we eat them all!!) The service was attentive. We were one of two groups in the restaurant, all the rest seems to be to go orders. Reasonable price for the quality of the food. While I probably wouldn't drive (again) from the SW side of Portland, I would definitely stop in and grab a bit to eat when I am in the neighborhood and hungry. Thanks for the hospitality, great attofmpshere and good quality food.

My husband and I weren't in 100% agreement about Spitz. The menu looked great and the people seemed friendly enough. Except it wasn't obvious you had to go order at a counter. They brought us menus and then we sat and sat, waiting for someone to take our order. If they had a sign when you walk in indicating how to order, we totally missed it. Finally we waved at somebody and he said he could take our order. I got the Mediterranean wrap, and my husband the doner bowl. My wrap was too salty and I didn't like the texture of hummus on the wrap either. So I wouldn't get that again. My husband's doner bowl was a little salty too. And the French fries didn't do much it, as his meal also came with fries. He did like his bowl overall, however. The fries were delicious though. Nicely seasoned, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

we wanted something fresh & healthy-ish for dinner so we decided to give this place a try. we ordered through Uber Eats & it did not disappoint. the veggies tastes great & the tzatziki sauce was delish! i wish i had more of the sauce honestly haha. i'm not a fan of balsamic so i didn't use that sauce. then the falafel balls were perfect! not dry, had a good crunch & flavor to it.definitely will be ordering from here again & im sure in person too can't comment on the service or ambiance since we ordered thru an app

Fun place to go hangout and enjoy Mediterranean food. Great outside area and fun vibes. As well as welcoming and kind service.

Order: chicken gyro w/ frys Pros: the restaurant is clean and looks brand new. They've been open 5-years lol!!! I loved the location and the seating area. Oh and the music was a vibe!!! Cons: the gyro was not my favorite. The red sauce was not good and it over powered the Taziki sauce. The chicken was dry. They also had french frys in the gyro, which made the gyro taste mushy.

We went to spitz on Sunday night and we placed the order on the bar. They gave us a number to put on our table.This place has Mediterranean food which I feel refreshed to my taste. They bring the dishes to us. I like the colorful bowl but I might request a spoon for my next visit.

This review is for a delivery order from Spitz. Pulled up Uber Eats and saw that Spitz was offering a special. We thought we'd give it a try. We got a gyro and a Donner sandwich with fries and drinks. The sandwiches were great taste wise. They weren't filled with as much meat as other places but still quite good. The fries were delicious. We had iced tea and lemonade. The lemonade was not overly sweet which we liked. I can't speak to the service but I will say that our order was packed well. Even the drink had some tape over the top so it wouldn't spill.

I love this place! It's fast service and great food with a nice patio. I usually get the doquitos which are fried so crispy and delicious! Their salads and gyros are tasty too!

The food was sooo good! We ordered take out and ended up sitting inside. Our food was ready when we got there and the vibes were dope inside! There's seating both inside and outside with really fun interior decorations. I'd really recommend trying this place out!

I would do 5zzz.... But damn the phone etiquette is atrocious. But damn.... That's how it goes.. so just don't try to communicate through normal voice.. only participate through clear written communications. I feel so sad for their hosts and hostesses. But happy they have jobs!

GET THE WINGS. It was our first time in, we got a dozen wings, side of fries and hummus. The wings were the best we've had in portland, even better than the more popular wing joints here. Crispy, juicy, flavorful, just right! Fries seasoned and fried to perfection along with all the sauces. Not gonna lie their hummus isn't great, it kind of just tastes like you mashed chickpeas, very chunky and dry, no seasoning or oil. Something that I would totally pass on next time. Their Hibiscus drink is super delicious. Customer service is great, the place is so cute, vibey and clean. I really enjoyed it all in all. Can't wait to go back :)

Pulled up to Spitz when I saw a post about Cava (a chain on the east) and went to see if we had one. Well, it was permanently closed but PDX Eats made a recommendation about Spitz. All their reviews were relatively high so I pulled up on a Friday evening. Vibes were vibing. Low light, good music, Halloween movies on TV, and bar, indoor, and outdoor seating. I took forever to go over the menu, and with recommendations from Krystal (the bartender), I started with a side salad. The lemon-herb tahini dressing was so good! After that, I tried the Berliner bowl with chicken. They initially messed up and gave me quinoa instead of rice, but the chefs in the kitchen cooked the quinoa perfectly. The green sauce- zhoug as it is named, was delicious! So good, I wanted to try and make it at home! (Haven't tried yet, though!) But, nice spot, good food, was able to find front door street parking, and will bring friends to try when they visit!

I love Spitz! Ingredients are fresh and the portion sizes are healthy! Come hungry, for sure. Looking forward to trying the wraps. I kept seeing them come out of the kitchen and they look magnificent.

I got the chicken gyro, and it was by far one of my favorites! I got extra tzatziki sauce for it and that made it even better. The chicken was delicious and the pita was perfect. I also got the fried pita with hummus. The hummus was delicious and the pita strips were good. I'd like if there was an option for just a pita without it be fried, but the fried was still really good. And I did delivery so I'm sure if I were in the restaurant they wouldn't have minded to just bring me a non fried pita for the hummus. I highly recommend giving them a try! I wish I was here longer so I could check out their other items.

To be fair I haven't tried anything else but the fries. THE FRIES ARE SO GOOD!!! I'm kinda a picky eater so I can't speak for anything else.

Spitz is consistently amazing. It's my go-to in the neighborhood. Everything is so fresh, and the portions are very generous. My favorite thing to order is the Doner Basket with falafel, it's perfect bc it has a little bit of everything in there. We've eaten here for years and have never had a negative experience.

This place has such flavorful food with amazing prices!! I ordered online for the first time and even got a 10%!! The food was made super quick, and when I arrived I fell in love with how gorgeous the restaurant was. It had lovely outdoor seating and nice bar inside. The food was so fresh and the portion sizes were amazing!!!

Was in town and thought I'd try this place. Firstly the vibe is amazing! The interior is really cool. The doner salad is a standout dish! Fresh, crisp greens paired with tender and flavorful slices of doner kebab make it more than just a meal--it's a delightful experience. 1st time here. PRO's - food was yummy & drinks were cool. Good prices - hearty portions. CONS - they don't check on you, they do not offer water.

Really love this place, but for the love of god, please put ketchup out for customers. This place is too busy to have to wait in line to ask for ketchup 3x because it never comes. Also could benefit from a fountain machine, because same reason. Plus fountain soda is just way better than bar gun soda.

The food is always tasty with lots of variety! My partner feels too messy and too much feta and salty and I felt the quantity is getting smaller and smaller for the bowls. Always amazing fast service! The people are always so kind and friendly. I like the flavor of all the sauces especially the garlic aioli and the fried pita was really good this time. Previous times were too hard and chewy and this time was soft and slightly fried and yummy.

I've been ordering dinners from Spitz for years. I can only speak to the vegetarian options which there are plenty of. The bowls, salads and wraps never disappoint. My favorite is the Remix bowl with a side of fries or fried pita chips. Spitz also has delicious sangria and creative cocktails. The atmosphere is fun and festive with a nod to urban art and music.

They're kind of doing their own take on Mediterranean food at Spitz, but you know what? They're doing it well. I've tried a few wraps and bowls here and they were delicious, I especially enjoyed the diner bowl which is salad and fries topped with falafel balls, hummus, feta, olives and all the other fixings you would except on a mediterranean inspired salad. Not only was it good and the falafel not dry, but it was a lot of food that I barely managed to finish. It was pretty busy when we visited here on a warm Summer evening but the wait wasn't too long and the outside seating is spaced well enough that you won't be literally rubbing elbows with a crypto bro who is proudly proclaiming how he's going to get a Cybertruck when and if they're released, so that's nice. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the mood for a mountain of some tasty Mediterranean food that gives my indecisive ass all the choices on one plate so I don't have to make any decisions.

Nicest people ever! I had to try to cancel a catering order at the last minute, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. I want to order from them every time we need to feed a group just because they were so awesome to deal with. I've heard the food is excellent too. Thanks Spitz!

I am not a big fan of Mediterranean food, however, Spitz, is a place I would definitely be coming back! Amazing service and such a great place to grab a drink and a quick bit with friends. For the price of both of the meals with got, we did indeed receive quite a lot of food. Although it was a lot of food, the meals had lots of flavors and definitely super filling. I loved the fresh vegetables that pair well with the meat and the fries. Excited to go back to try more cocktails and the gyro!

I. Freakin'. Love. This. Place. I get the Medi Bowl with quinoa every single time. The prices are fair and the food is fresh and delicious. I like that they have a rewards program too where you can get free stuff. Easy to do because you will want to order from them again and again.

The location was easy to find, the staff was nice, and the food arrived within a solid time frame. We stopped in for dinner on Saturday night and had no issues placing an order and sitting outside on the patio; the inside was fuller and there was A TON of takeout orders while we were there. We ordered the Doquitos with Beef & Lamb, the Zesty Feta Doner with chicken, and the street fries mixed with waffle and regular fires. Overall, the food tasted fresh, and the textures were amazing, but the flavors were very similar between these three dishes. After you place your order at the bar they give you a number-table-topper and you choose your own seat. When the food arrives, they will bring it to your table. You are required to bus your table after and need to go to the bar to get refills as well. We will try this place again and venture into different dishes since we did enjoy the ambience and vibes from the restaurant location, and staff. Also, they do have a full bar a well with a ton of local beers on draft

This is a great place to get Mediterranean food in PDX. Tried the Beef & Lamp Street Cart Wrap w sweet potato fries and it was amazing. It even came with a few sauce option. Krystal is one of the coolest people working there. Outdoor seating options too. Great vibes all around

I agree with what a lot of the other reviewers were saying, really good portion sizes. And, the food was delicious! The bowls were perfect after a Yoga class I took nearby. And, something I wasn't expecting, and was surprised at how delicious their French fries were! I got the sample of the traditional fries, and the sweet potato waffle fries. My mistake, was getting the "Small order" instead of the Large Order! I definitely should have ordered more, so I could have shared with my hubby. But, the distinguishing factor is that these fries were equally delicious cold as warm. Most people struggle with trying to re-warm up fries later, and they are never as good as the first-go. But, these fries from Spitz were delicious, even cold! I highly recommend.

Heard good things about this place but didn't expect to like it as much as I did! I got the Berliner Bowl with Chicken. I love the variety of ingredients and components that they add to the bowl; it keeps the eating experience fun with each bite. From charred sweet corns, pickled veggies, coleslaw, quinoa, pita chips to the succulent grilled chicken, everything was super fresh and nicely flavored. The bowl was also deceptively filling. It looked small at first but a bowl will definitely satisfy you. Also, we got to tall about the sauces, the tzaziki and the red sauce. Again, super delicious and fresh. Not sure what the red one is but I totally would buy a jar of it. Got a side of Falafel and Hummus and Beef and Lamb Gyro as well. The Hummus was tasty and smooth; it went very well with the rest of the bowl. So was the Falafel which stayed crispy even with taking out. One thing I noticed about the food here is that they do their seasoning/flavoring just right; not bland, not overly salty. Their Beef and Lamb Gyro might be the best tasting one I've had in town. With the myriads of options they offer, you really can't get bored of this place. Super fun but tasty options. I wish they're closer to me so I can regularly dropby for a quick lunch.

Had been wanting to try this place for quite some time since they just opened within the past year or so. Might've found a new favorite spot! Was very impressed. We did a order for take out and are already planning when we can go back and dine in. They've got a great outdoor patio with heat lamps. Their dining and bar area is super cool. Didn't get drinks this go around, but there cocktails look really good. The menu has a bit of everything on it for you and leaves you wanting one of everything ;) We decided on doquitos to start. Such a bold flavorful dish! Great sauce and fresh ingredients that top the doquitos. For entrées we had the Street Car Doner and the Berliner Bowl. Each was jam packed with various flavors and kept you coming back for more. Portions were great! Ended our Spitz journey with baklava - yum. We will certainly be going back to try more! Recommended for good new eats!

Service was pleasant but the food left much to be desired. The falafel were cold. Completely cold. I've never been served completely cold falafel before, and I find it unacceptable. We ordered the loaded fries with mixed meet and only received one type of meet. Flavors were good, but it was all thanks to the sauces. Everything was swimming in sauce - it was not texturally pleasant. Fries were also cold. My favorite part of the meal was the green sauce you can get on the side. Everything else was just fine. I probably wouldn't come back. It doesn't even hit the hankering for something light that Mediterranean food often meets the need for. This is not likely somewhere I'd return. I love falafel with all my heart, so that's saying something.

Tried the Spitz today and loved the vibe as soon as we entered! We were a group of 4, to begin with we ordered the Doner basket (which can be shared), chicken wings with ranch and hot sauce, the wings were tender and soft. The Doner basket had a little bit of everything to top the fries. We also ordered the sweet potato fries which all of us loved! We ordered the Pomegranate cocktail and Coffee Liqueur (my favorite), I asked the bartender to make me a special with cherry, pineapple and cranberry and it was one of the best cocktail I have had. They gave us a dessert on the house as it was our friend's birthday a very sweet gesture :) Food 4/5 Ambience 4.5/5 Service a solid 5/5 Would love to come back soon, cheers!

This was our first time getting food from Spitz, and it was absolutely amazing, we usually do fast food fridays but decided to get ourselves something different and were more than excited. Food was super well packaged, which is always a nice kind of service, and the ambiance of the restaurant was amazing; I wish we had eaten there because it was so cozy inside but alas. We're definitely eating here again.

Spitz was a delicious stop for us! We both ordered the lamb and beef street cart donner wraps and they were delicious! The restaurant is order at the bar type and was very hot during the heat wave (I don't think there is any air/AC) but it was worth it. The service was very fast and self serve sauces were SO good! Next time we're back I would definitely be happy with sharing one order. I also ordered the basil peach sangria and it came as a slushy with a great basil peach flavor! Do yourself a favor and give Spitz a try!

Yum! Satisfying tasty food in a fun casual atmosphere with early MTV videos playing. Two of us shared the Doner basket which was perfect for a late lunch.

So delicious! I always get whatever bowl or wrap with falafel and it's delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and healthy. Their sauces make it just that much better too! 10/10z

Strict COVID precautions followed here. It's very clear and organized. Staff were very kind and attentive. Have not found good Med food since moving here. May as well keep trying til we find some good flavor profiles. Found it! We ordered to go but had time for a drink before it came out. I had a red beer which was great and my wife had a happy hour special called Fizz I think. It had a light cucumber and egg white taste. It was very good! We drove about 8 min back home and the fry combo we ordered was ice cold but more bothersome was the sweet potato fries were severely overcooked. We did not eat our fries so that was disappointing. For my main meal I got the chicken schwarma street cart diner. This sucker was huge and weighed a couple pounds I swear! The wrap was soft and the mixture inside was very good. Totally would get it again. My wife got the remix bowl and she loved it. Bright colors, good sauce, and a lot of flavor also. We also got dosquitos. They were wonderful. We got cheese and chicken. The pepperoncinis were the best part. They were fried well though! My wife loved them. I was indifferent to be honest. Good first experience. Will return.

This place is fantastic for dine in or takeout! If you are a vegetarian, there are plenty of options. I tend to go with the salads and have falafel added. I recommend getting the crispy garbanzo beans! I love them so much! They have a full bar. When I dine in, I typically get myself a margarita. The atmosphere is really nice. Very colorful and interesting art on the walls. Great patio to hang on when the weather is warm.
