Spoon & Fork Kitchen in Austin delivers a masterclass in flavor with their Panang Avocado and Salmon. The rich, velvety Panang curry harmonizes beautifully with the creamy avocado and perfectly cooked salmon, creating a dish that is both indulgent and balanced. The restaurant’s warm, inviting atmosphere is elevated by its owner, Tang, whose genuine hospitality enhances the dining experience. Service is attentive, and the menu showcases a thoughtful blend of creativity and tradition. Spoon & Fork Kitchen is a standout gem, offering exceptional dishes that linger in your memory long after the meal ends. A must-visit for Austin food enthusiasts.

We were visiting dripping Springs for a wrestling tournament and this place was the closest thing to the high school that had a large vegetarian menu. We tried the garlic and broccoli, the mixed vegetables, some spring rolls and the mango sticky rice was amazing and will definitely be coming back to this location

Google
I am so glad I decided to stop by this gem while in town with my husband. The curry was aromatic and flavorful, and the spicy level was not overwhelming at all but just right. The staff here were welcoming and accommodating , making my experience feel like home. I envy the locals and even recommended that they open a spot in Houston.

Google
I've been to this location a couple of times and most recently, October 15th. The service is always very fast and friendly and the food is pretty good. I'm sure I'll keep coming back.

Google
We’ve eaten here and ordered take out many times and have always enjoyed the food, but something has changed. Tonight’s dinner was awful. One of the worst meals we’ve ever had and we’re hoping we don’t get sick. The shrimp appetizer was like rubber, the steak tiger cry was flavorless but also tasted spoiled, the chicken pad Thai was soupy and the noodles were way overcooked. Maybe they got a new cook? Our server was super sweet and attentive, but nothing could save the food. Will not go back.

Google
Amazing authentic Thai food..friendly staff and very clean restaurant. ADA wheelchair accessible. One of the best mango sticky rice in Austin... very generous potion. Gladly recommend this new restaurant.

Google
I’m deeply sad to have to review this, I was so excited and happy to be trying this restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the food not too bad until I found a baby roach on my Chicken Pad Tai, I chose not to make a scene due to the small space and I felt bad for the crew, so I packed my food and left. Very very disappointing but a roach (even if so little) it’s unacceptable!

Google
Another 5 star review from me. Consistant good food, thai tea is also amazing.

Yelp
spoon and fork at Belterra is absolutely delicious and they take care of their customers. the food is amazing and has been every time we eat there. there was a mixup with our meal and they made sure we had our food and sent us a fresh meal later just out of kindness. we are so grateful to have such a great place in our area!

Yelp
12/30/23 we have eaten here numerous times as the food is very good. However, today's service was not up to par. We had a party of 5, and 4 meals came out and we waited 10 min more for the 5th which was unfortunate since the rest of us were done when the 5th came out. A table next to us arrived 10-15 min after us and all meals came out together almost at the same time as our last meal. Very disappointing service. While the food was very good, the service this time leaves much to be desired. We will return, and I will update my review appropriately. But until then, this is on my watchlist.

Yelp
I'll preface this by explaining that we are on a journey to try all of the thai restaurants in Austin. We are probably about halfway through. We are big thai fans with high expectations for the food and quality. Hands down, this is the best thai food we've had in Austin. We had green curry (came out medium spicy), pad see ew and cashew chicken. The curry was beautifully milky, creamy and flavorful. The pad see ew noodles were perfectly cooked with a lot of flavor. The cashew chicken was tender chicken with a decent about of cashews. Fried spring rolls were tasty as well, and they have a great cocktail menu ($8/cocktail). Prices are very decent, quality is great, service was fantastic. Highly recommend. We live in NW austin and would consider driving down here just for the thai and a movie.

Yelp
Very happy to have this restaurant close by. The food was outstanding and service was great. Very friendly staff. The Tom Kha soup was so flavorful, and we purposely over ordered so we could have leftovers. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Worst Thai food you can get in this area. Not sure why this is even in business. Try the food cart near by and it's better and authentic

Yelp
This is a hidden gem in the midst of a lot of mediocre eating places in Belterra. The food is authentic Thai, and the owner and staff are attentive and friendly. The food is cooked when you order, and the quality ingredients are fresh. I usually order to go whenever I get my hair done nearby. They use good packaging so nothing spills, and the food is still piping hot when I get home, which is a 20-30 minute drive. I highly recommend this restaurant and plan to dine in there soon. My observation while I'm waiting for my to go orders to be cooked is their dine-in service is also excellent. Customers are seated quickly, and the servers are attentive to their requests. The place is very clean, and the ambiance is not fancy, but it's decent and comfortable.

Yelp
Great Thai mom pop shop in Belterra. They even have a small bar! Spicy wings - great starter, fried with a true fish sauce Asian marinade. Pad-see-ew -lots of flavor! Pad Thai - delish Basil fried rice- also flavorful Ambiance is casual and low key, not fancy. Great to grab to gos but they have all the basics nailed.

Yelp
Spoon and Fork is our go to Thai spot here in Drip. The service is always great, food is ready quick, good value, and solid option. Level of heat from time to time can vary but that's being picky. It will continue to be in our rotation for our family.

Yelp
I walked in the door and there were only two people in there. This lady came up to me asking What you want?!? I said to eat supper? She said How many?!? I said just one. I mean there is just one of me! She yelled I can't read your mind! I walked out. Hell no.

Rena B.

Yelp
We loved the Tom Yum soup! Also had spring rolls (yummy), steak salad (delicious). Thai fried rice with chicken (lacked flavor -bland- but ok). The ginger tea was fantastic!

Yelp
It was okay. I got takeout from here because Madam Mam's wasn't taking to go orders. The food was okay

Yelp
We've come to eat at Spoon and Fork a couple of times now. We enjoy the friendly service and the flavorful food. Glad to have this restaurant in the area.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this authentic Thai restaurant. It's the best one in the immediate area. The steak for the tiger cry entree was amazing, juicy, and tender. The amount was just right. The dipping sauce, is so good I almost want to buy a jar of it. The noodles for the pad see ew was a bit over cooked but the flavors really make up for it. I do wish there were more broccoli florets but I'll ask for it next time instead of going straight to complaining. The Thai tea was good a bit on the sweet side but once the ice melted, it was great. The soda selection is worth mentioning too. These guys knew how to complement their food because these cane soda drinks are delicious! for the 2 entrees and 2 drinks, Plus tip, our total was 47

Yelp
We've gotten take out here before a couple years ago and it was so terrible, that it was memorably bad. We got pad Thai and Mongolian beef, two safe foods. They were so bad, they were tossed straight in the trash. Not something we do. Our friends really like this place so we thought that perhaps we had it on a bad day, so we decided to give it a second shot. My husband got pad kee mao and I got crispy tofu and pad see-iew (and asked for no fish sauce just in case that was the culprit) The best way to describe this place was that everything tasted like the La Croix of Thai food. zero flavor. However, my dish also had a weird, off, stinky smell and taste too. I'm not sure if maybe it was cooked in a pan with seafood or what, but it was inedible even with the bland peanut sauce and other things I had on hand trying to salvage it. My husband said it wasn't great but after he put a ton of sriracha and sauces on it, it wasn't terrible and he could eat it. Unfortunately I had to throw mine away. A shame because we live so close but never again will we come back.

Yelp
We love Spoon & Fork Kitchen! always greeted and taken care of promptly, the staff and owner are always so friendly and helpful with any questions or adjusting of orders. I love that they use quality fresh ingredients. We have eaten here many times, have also done several take outs as well and are always happy with the food and service! The food is great but I especially love when the owner/mom is there and the personal service she gives to make us feel so warmly welcomed and appreciated each time! Jericho, Renee and family

Yelp
We went to Spoon & Fork Kitchen for the first time this weekend. We really loved the food there right from the appetizer, vegetarian spring rolls to dessert, sticky rice with mango. The food was fresh and very tasty. We follow vegetarian diet and there were lot of choices for us. The service was good and fast. Ambience was good too. Definitely going back here with my family again more and more. It is 20 mins from home.

Yelp
We stumbled across this place on our way back to SA from Austin. Food came out quickly and the service was awesome! I highly recommend this place if you're ever passing through.

Yelp
Kinda rare for Ol' Rooster to post an update. Recently revisited Spoon and Fork in the nearby Metropolis of Cedar Valley. First impressions I longed for flavors similar to my favorite Thai Texas destinations. Didn't return for some time. During the beginning of COVID, we didn't venture out too far and decided to revisit them. BTW, restaurant next door League went off our regular rotation because of repeated quality issues. I'm a Panang Curry guy; and wasn't overly impressed on my initial visit. Revisiting, totally blown away. Broth was fully mixed versus coconut milk added in the end. Very close to my favorites across the Lone Star State. Still wish there was a pan fried option for the dumplings. Spring rolls showed quality with the peanut dipping sauce. Shrimp appetizer was decent too. Been back twice since they have made improvements! No issues with COVID rules either!!

Yelp
This place has amazing food and great service. I eat here a couple times a month and I always enjoy it. Fried rice and dumplings are my favorite.

Yelp
Yelp is forcing a response for a location I have never been to I think this gives yelp zero credibility

Yelp
Thai food joint Spoon and Fork has been around at couple of years, located in the upscale Belterra Village retail complex between Breed Ace Hardware and the League. It's easy to overlook them because of the small slot and the competition. But overlooking them would be a mistake. Venue-wise, there's not much to brag about. The façade is unremarkable, as is the interior. Bland and sterile and relatively small. Uninspired decor that could have used some interior design advice. The service is excellent, though. Clarissa, our server, worked her hindquarters off while we were there, but she was unfailingly chipper and bright and very accommodating. We saw her SPRINTING several times during our stay, and that speaks to the passion and dedication of the staff. Because the main menu mentions only tea and soft drinks, we didn't realize they had alcohol until we noticed the shelves behind the counter with all the bottles. We'd ordered two teas already, but we wanted to switch to one of their large selection of Asian and other beers. Clarissa didn't flinch and changed our order midstream with graciousness and a smile. Food, though, really gets them four stars. The steamed dumplings were very traditional but also very good - subtle and warm and classic. I had the Panang Salmon Avocado. Stupid good. STUPID GOOD. The salmon was not over cooked and was flakey and tender. The coconut nut milk sauce had a fine blend of spices and greens and enough heat on the back end to get your attention without making you sweat. The filet was generous, but that sauce was both strong and delicate and slightly sweet at the same time. The avocado slices were a savory addition to that rich blend of flavors. My companion had the Thai Spicy Basil with shrimp off the stir fry menu. The shrimp were large and well prepared, again, the spice mix with basil was extremely pleasing. I perceive that a lot of their business is take out, but I'd counsel you to dine in. That way you get the full flavor impact of the dishes right from the kitchen ((and they are pretty expeditious in getting stuff to the table - I credit the sprinting for that). And, if you dine in, maybe, you'll get Clarissa as your server.

Yelp
Great little place! I ordered the Bangkok tea and it was very much as described - light, floral, coconut. Had the crispy tofu appetizer and the Rama long song with tofu entree. I do wish the sauce with the entree was warm and more saucy but that's the only thing that I thought could have been better. The flavor of the entree, the crispness of the tofu appetizer and the sauce with it was really delicious. Portion was just right that I didn't have any leftovers.

Yelp
I'm a harsh critic when it comes to Thai food after living in NYC for nearly 10 years. We've ordered from this place 3 times in the last two weeks and I think the negative reviews are honestly haters with no taste buds. This is solid Thai food. Try it.

Yelp
I am so excited to see great southeast asian food in Belterra Village! The service was friendly and attentive, and loved the food - I had the Thai basil chicken; and I am looking forward to returning and trying just about everything on their menu. Prices are fair as well. Why not 5-stars? I dunno, I guess because NJ/NY had some really strong Asian choices (just the sheer quantity), but I do plan to write a review update as I run through their whole menu here! I strongly recommend S&F and look forward to eating here many more times in the future.
google avatar

Yelp
I recommend the Tom yum soup. I also had the garlic broccoli, both with chicken. This is very good thai flavor.

Carlos C.

Yelp
Good Thai food, pad thai is good along with orange chicken Family run business and good food

Austin M.

Yelp
Pretty good food, but there is an extremely rude woman who may be a manager. Not sure what her probably is, but she makes the experience going to this place a full two stars worse. Unfortunate because this place has good food. Oh well.

Yelp
Great service this afternoon- very clean and responsive staff - owners Had catfish- not quite what I expected- but very good - vegetables seemed fresh and cooked just right

Yelp
I'm late to try this place and I'm not sure why. I'm glad that I did. I had the Papaya Salad with the Honey Garlic Shrimp Skewer appetizer. My only complaint was the spice level. I asked for spicy and it was just barely spicy. But tasty enough and easily fixed with the extra Thai chilis I asked for. The shrimp appetizer was really good. It had a nice charred edge and was not too sweet. It was the perfect accompaniment to the Papaya Salad. I'll come back to try other items, but I think I know what I'll be ordering most of the time.

CJ T.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! I always stop in when I'm in the Belterra area. The food is hot and fresh, and they use quality ingredients. The to go orders are packed well so they don't spill in the car on the way home, and the food is still hot when we get home, too.

Yelp
Get the pangang salmon with avocado! Hands-down my favorite dish every time. Friendly staff and you can get a glass of wine while you wait for your takeout food!
google avatar

Sandy C.

Yelp
My first and my last. The pineapple rice was a compilation of protein, I chose chicken, Pineapple small chunks of fruits, and long onions/veggies. The rice was so bland, and dry. Where is the flavor, and steamy freshness? A dry no tasteI also ordered Spicy wings. These "spicy wings"were SO dry!! Yuck! This is not original Thai food. So gross. Very sad. Spent close to $40. Not going back!
google avatar

Justin B.

Yelp
I went here for takeout only so can't speak much to anything other than the food. Unfortunately not a lot of food exists between Circle C and Dripping Springs for the work day. You're basically rotating between the roster of the same 4-5 places. The good news is...the food is great. I had the pad thai with chicken and tofu. The tofu isn't super flavorful (although most tofu isn't) but it was a nice texture to the rest of the dish. The noodles were perfectly cooked and tender. Theirs actually had some subtle new flavors in the pad thai I hadn't had before at other places. The portion was also pretty big for one person. Well, I can only talk so much about pad thai. Swing by and try for yourself.

Moses M.

Yelp
Wonderful food with great ingredient's prepared with care. If carry out always ready when they say.
google avatar

Lucie L.

Yelp
Food quality drops down a bit when owner isn't there. Still best option for Thai food (not Chinese!) south of Oak Hill. Portions are decent so you wont need 2 entrees per person like the food truck. Orange chicken is the most interesting we've had. It's more like Pancake Chicken. Pancake batter and very cakey. Sauce is interesting as well. Very gingery and at times smells like a cinnamon roll. No one liked it. Just go to Panda. It is cheaper and tastes better. Pineapple fried rice is too mushy. It is consistently mushy. Every time. Pad Thai is ok. Not overly sweet and never soggy or too dry. Pad See Ew is good as well but we have to get it without the sweet soy sauce because that makes it overly sweet and salty. Chicken satay is not prepared properly. This is not tenderized or prepped. Whole chicken cut into pieces, not grilled but fried. Flavor is mediocre. Egg rolls are the ones with just cabbage in it. Go to HEB and grab better in the frozen section. Cheaper. Crab Cream cheese is delicious. So, if you want pad thai and crab rangoons, this is the place!
google avatar

Stephen S.

Yelp
Been here a couple of times, the food is inconsistent and service is spotty. Which all now make sense and after our last visit I will not be going back and the reason I gave two stars is explained next. The staff told us not to tip because the owners take the tips. This to me as an ex service industry employee is the epitome of a bad restaurant. I hope one of your staff reports the owners to the labor board, its illegal and despicable.
google avatar

Anoop I.

Yelp
After two visits to Spoon and Fork Kitchen, it's starting to grow on my wife and me. The staff has been good about telling us about ingredients, and are willing to make dishes vegan for us. Their papaya salad is usually made with fish sauce but for us they left that out to make it vegan. Panang curry was tasty without being spicy; we asked for mild and got mild. During our prior visit the sticky rice and mango was good. I can't help wondering why the restaurant name is so generic and does not hint of Thai food. No matter - the curry is good and the people are friendly, so we'll be back.
google avatar

Breanna C.

Yelp
Fresh, delicious and everything always comes out tasting exactly how we ordered it! Spoon and fork is my go to Thai place in town. One of my favorite Thai places in Texas. Ask for the chili oil! It's amazing and made in house.
google avatar

Nathan S.

Yelp
Spoon & Fork is great! We order takeout from here at least once a month, and we've never been disappointed. The staff is extremely friendly as well. Also, if the wait is a little longer than expected, their beer is cold, and what a great excuse to have a Tsingtao or two. Thinkin' about nicknaming this spot "Spork". *rimshot please*
google avatar

Yelp
Great Food. My meal was so yummy. I could not put my fork down. Oh my! Fantastic! Service was so good. I will definitely be back to enjoy!

Yelp
Have eaten here before and the food is normally decent, but today there was a very dark curly black hair in my food. I happen to find nothing more disgusting.
google avatar

Yelp
Super friendly staff and delicious food! We've never been disappointed when we get take out from here. Plus I get my fix for mango and sticky rice. :)

Yelp
Our go to take out in Dripping!! The food is delicious and very well priced. The staff are very kind and accommodating to modifications. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
A nice Asian restaurant tucked away in The Belterra Village. The interior of the restaurant looks beautiful and would be great for a family dinner or even larger groups. My favorite was their dumplings and dumpling sauce. The Thai Fried Rice and Panang Curry were pretty good too. Definitely a go to for weeknight dinners.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious Thai food with many choices on the menu. We love having meals here. Everyone is so kind and helpful too.

Yelp
My daughter and I eat here at least once a week. The food is consistently delicious and the service is great!

Yelp
Great Thai food. The spicy level was not up to Thai standards, but the flavor was great.
