Yelp
We're at the "Addicted to SPOON +FORK" Thai restaurant stage already... Food is CONSISTENTLY GREAT! Service is always above and beyond! It's as pretty as you can get it at this price point

Yelp
While the food is delicious the price is higher than what we are normally used to for Thai food. I love panag curry and fried rice and this place is good but i would go out of my way to come here! The store is quant and employees are nice but nothing really stands out about this place! Definitely worth a try if you live in McKinney!

Yelp
Wish I hadn't wait so long to try this place!! We dined in and enjoyed the service which was lovely. They sat us quickly around 7 pm (no wait!) on a Tuesday. We split the spring rolls and the edamame to start. Hubby had the curry and I had the salmon. We both thoroughly enjoyed both and said we're looking forward to trying other dishes next time!

Yelp
We went to have lunch and we wanted to try their Thai lunch menu. But we ended up getting entrees from their regular menu. We got, real crab fried rice, papaya salad and fish fillet from their menu. Friendly staff. Clean and well decorated Thai restaurant. Lot of parking space, too.

Yelp
Establishment is clean. Owners and staff are friendly. Food is clean. fresh and portions are generous. Even fried items taste light and are not greasy

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant. The service was outstanding, and I appreciated being seated on my own with its nice and open interior. The green curry had a delightful touch of sweetness from the coconut milk, making it pleasant. The pad Thai was also fantastic, showcasing excellent seasoning and sauce. Generous portions added to the overall satisfaction of the meal.

Yelp
The food and service here was good. Tried the pineapple fried rice, the links, spring rolls and Tom yum soup on the first visit. The food was flavorful and fresh. The links had quite a bit of bigger pieces of fat inside. This is the only thing I did not enjoy. I went back a second time within a week to get the Tom Yum soup again for my love who was sick. I enjoyed it as well. It was soooo flavorful and warm. A must try. The soup is carrying this review to 5 stars.

Yelp
Get better wait staff. We were here a few months ago and the staff was horrible I said nope I will come back in a few months we'll different staff but even worse attitude. The girl up front literally looks like she doesn't want to work there. She was rude and looked angry and annoyed. When we asked for menus and condiments she told us to sit down and then another 5 mins to get them. There was only one table of 4 sitting in the restaurant. The food was good as always. Then the check came it was $40.08 I gave them a $50 and asked for change I intended to tip $7. Well the change never came and they ignored me. I guess they thought their service warranted a $10 tip. It did not. Literally never made eye contact with me. Despite me saying I need change. If you're gonna eat here I suggest you order pickup don't deal with that wait staff.

Yelp
Papaya salad is delicious. They get pretty packed for lunch. Thankfully, the bar seats are always open.

Yelp
Very good service and food. They were very polite when it came to my slow orders. The Thai tea was very delicious. The main course was also very flavorful. Almost forgot to take a photo so ignore the two big missing bites in the photo. It was so good and the price was decent! Give this place a chance if on the go. Lots of take out orders we're going off while I enjoyed my meal so they have it down!also try the appetizers! Shrimp were so good.

Yelp
Definitely not the place you would go to if you want A1 service however, the food was good. I got the highest level of spicy for the papaya salad and I was not disappointed. I loved how refreshing yet flavorful it was.

Amanda S.

Yelp
I Drive 20 minutes to get this. No other Thai food is this good in the area. Basil fried rice is not super oily and has amazing flavor. Great amount for the best price. I won't go anywhere else.

Yelp
It was so good. Not bad price, very quick and nice service, would definitely recommend the appetizers!!

Yelp
Fantastic new addition to the McKinney area - the yellow curry was simply exceptional and I was left wanting more. The Pad Thai was also great with a good balance of flavor. The restaurant is small but it's modern and has a great ambiance. The staff was very attentive and even though they were very busy they accommodated all our requests and offered us some new dishes to try. I suspect we'll be regulars here!

Yelp
First time here we had never been there before Good food calm environment we ate here for my ladies birthday .

Yelp
We ordered Pad ke Mow with Tofu and Curry fried rice with Chicken. All of them spice level 4. I was told food will be ready in 20 mins and it was ready by the time I got there. Both of them tasted pretty bland and lacked any flavour. Not sure if it was some off day but we did not enjoy the food!

Yelp
Awesome little Thai place. Everything we had was exceptional. I only got one picture of my curry, but everyone's dishes were amazing. I also ordered a Thai tea which was a little on the sweet side but delicious nonetheless. Would 100% go back.

Yelp
My wife, daughter, and I went to eat at Spoon + Fork Thai Kitchen around 5pm yesterday. We were sat immediately as they only appeared to have takeout orders and no dine-in customers. We ordered a large Tom Kha with chicken, Pad Thai with chicken, Orange Chicken, Thai Basil Fried Rice, and the Crab Cream Cheese to start. Everything came out hot, and fairly quickly with the exception of the Tom Kha. The Pad Thai was good, but had a "seared" taste to it as maybe something was cooked a little too long. The Basil Fried Rice was good overall and had good flavor. The Orange Chicken was probably the best item as the chicken stayed crispy, even after the sauce had coated the chicken for several minutes, and we enjoyed the addition of cabbage and broccoli that served as the bed for the chicken. Despite the lack of business, the Tom Kha didn't come out until after we finished and boxed the rest of our food to take home (roughly 25-30 minutes). The flavor of the soup was good, but my wife said it was a little too sweet and deserved more lime to balance the coconut milk. Overall, it served the purpose of a pre-movie dinner, but it may be a while before we're back to try other items.

Yelp
Portion way too small for appetizers. Spicy wings are most horrible. Wing drumsticks, I suspect, has zero meat and not even skin, all fried batter. Service mostly dont-care kind of attitude. Entree dishes are okay, portion size okay as well. Will no longer return.

Yelp
Great service and the food was amazing! Had the cashew chicken and spring role and was perfection. I was surprised actually how good this place was. Don't let it be a sleeper like we did.

Yelp
Surprisingly good! Service is good, it will be a little bit wait if they are busy. Food quality and quantity are both great, one of the best Thai food I've had in DFW area and I'm Asian. Definitely be back (actually I already did) when I'm around. My favorites are green curry, panang curry, and Tom kha noodle. Only thing is there's no spicy level to choose from, I don't mind though.
google avatar

Damien R.

Yelp
First time we had it everything was good. Today we placed a to go order and the pad Thai was very overcooked. It was a just mass of mushy noodles.

jasmin m.

Yelp
We order drunken noodles. Fried dumplings. And hot wings. Everything was so fresh and tasteful. Will definitely be going back to try different dishes.

Yelp
Restaurant is going downhill looks like ! . Asked for spicy entrees but nothing was spicy . Rice portion is for a child !! Entered establishment and was ignored completely by a young woman who was on her cellphone. Very disappointing
google avatar

Yelp
Have eaten there many times and it has always been great. The wife and I get different things and like to share. Love the egg rolls and the green curry.

Yelp
Such a cute little restaurant, with a modern and clean feel to it! Great place to pop in for lunch or a casual dinner. The Thai food is absolutely delicious and flavorful! Beware of the amount of spice you select, especially if you're unfamiliar with thai food's spice! It may take you by surprise, even if you can handle other spices used by other cultures, like Mexican food for example. It's nothing like the spice frequently used in Mexican food, so just be cautious :) The service was great, prompt, and friendly. Great little Thai spot!

Yelp
Really good food!! It's close to my office, so I picked it up on my way home. I placed my order online, and it was ready when I arrived. We got noodles, curry, orange chicken, tamarind shrimp... everything was very good. We will definitely go back again.

Yelp
I have to say, Spoon and Fork is my husband and I favorite Thai place. We've had the basil & crab fried rice, chicken satay, shrimp skewer, crab cream cheese, fried shrimp rolls, garlic broccoli, green curry, garlic catfish & Mongolian beef and we liked Every one of those items. Coming from a person that is picky when it comes to good food, I will say Spoon and Fork has really good food!

Yelp
Had lunch here and both the food and service were superb. The only thing in my opinion keeping it from 5 stars was maybe the price. To their credit the portions were very generous. For a Sunday lunch time they had a decent crowd demonstrating the locals like this place. I would definitely stop in again and again when nearby. I had the Pepper Chicken that was served with jasmine rice. I also liked that the wait staff attended to me frequently and often, refilled my drink and customized our food based on the desired spice level.

Yelp
Great food. Great service. Good location. Really liked pad Thai. Dumpling awesome

Yelp
Pretty empty spot on a Tuesday evening. May be why it was a pretty clean environment. The place has good food. I ordered 7 dishes, because I never been here before, and got too excited. Turns out that the I-San Sausage was the best dish, or maybe the Mango Sticky Rice, it had blue rice! I'm not sure whether that says more about me, or the food. The Beef Noodle soup has wide rice noodles which was an unexpected surprise. Also, the Pretty Spicy Wings didn't have much sauce when I ordered, so if I go again I'll definitely make sure to ask for some extra sauce. Overall, I'll probably be going again for the Blue Mango Sticky Rice!

Yelp
This review is for their new location in the 7900 -8000 ?? block of Custer Rd., immediately North of Rolater Rd ( on the West side ) the decor appears to be similar to the photos of their location on University Dr. Which I have not visited. This is a nice, upscale Thai restaurant with several tables and seating at a modest counter / bar for eat- in patrons. My first purchase was the Basil Fried Rice which was simply OUTSTANDING. . . . . . . . If you have not compared traditional "Fried Rice" to "Basil Fried Rice- cooked Thai style, you are in for a real treat. We are looking forward to future purchases.

Yelp
Food- We had Panang curry and crispy calamari. It was absolutely delightful. Perfect portion, perfect flavors. Service- since it was a bit crowded, service was slow. There's a scope of a lot of improvement ther. However, the servers were friendly ! Ambiance- Nice little place. I loved the casual setting.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Pad thai was on point. We received adequate service despite the fact thet they were dramatically understaffed (one server and one busboy/bartender). The check in process was unclear since they were understaffed no one greeted us. We had to corner someone just to put our name in.

Yelp
Great Thai food. Clean restaurant and very good service. I had the curry and it was definitely a top of the line curry from my personal experiences

Yelp
The food is fantastic. I'm never disappointed. The service is great each time I have ordered and my orders always correct.

Yelp
Just moved here from California and what a surprise it was to find this gem! Amazing food and amazing customer service. I had the spring rolls and egg rolls which I highly recommend. The Thai Tea is refreshing.

Yelp
AMAZING THAI FOOD! This place is 100% authentic. I grew up in a household that cooked and ate a ton of Thai and southeast Asian cuisine. So I feel confident that this restaurant is LEGIT! I've had the papaya salad (I'm sooo happy they use fish sauce in it as most Thai places do not. Fish sauce = flavor), chicken satay, the Mongolian beef, yellow curry, pad see ew, pad thai, and garlic catfish were all delicious. I even went back two days in a row so I could try different dishes. Even the Thai iced tea is authentic and great, not that pre-fix stuff that comes in a can/box. You can see them pouring the tea and milk/half and half into your glass. My favorites so far has got to be the papaya salad, yellow curry, and pad see ew. One thing to note on the papaya salad is it comes on a scale of 1-5 I think for how hot you want it. 5 is pretty hot, like start sweating a little and your mouth is on fire. I personally like it on a 3 or 4 spicy level. 1-2 is a bit too plain, the papaya salad will be just a bit too tart without the spice. I like to think I can handle spicy but in reality I can't. I grew eating papaya salad and was always asked "how many peppers do you want in this or do you want this Thai hot?".... You're brave if you go with Thai Hot, haha.. The service is great and the owner is very friendly. This is now my go to spot for comfort Thai food!

Yelp
Loved it - green curry was out of this world. Service was good. Will return again with extended family

Yelp
The food, service, and atmosphere was amazing! The chicken pad Thai was delicious, and the serving sizes are huge. My favorite Thai place in the DFW!

Yelp
I was out running errands today and decided to hop in and try Spoon + Fork Thai Kitchen for a quick lunch. The place is super cute and located right next to the movie theater off 380 in McKinney. The mosaic tile on the bar and lighting is fabulous. Totally digging that accent wall! The waitress was the only one working all the tables, she was friendly and did a great job. I had some edamame and pad Thai with . The edamame came out fresh with a light sprinkling of salt, really good. The pad thai wasn't amazing and that's the only reason I gave this place four stars. I can't put my finger on what it was missing but I certainly wouldn't order it again. Cute place, I would certainly come back to try another menu option.

Yelp
Best Thai food outside of Thailand or LA !! Very friendly staff! I highly recommend the Red Thai Curry.
google avatar

Yelp
Good food. We usually just get the pad Thai and pad see ew. The sausage app is good too. Only do takeout but the place always seems to have a bunch of people dining in.

Savannah D.

Yelp
This is my go-to spot for Thai food, and it never disappoints. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff always takes my food allergies seriously, which is surprisingly hard to find these days.

Yelp
Got take out and it was fantastic! Counter staff was friendly and helpful. Easy to order and pickup at the corner of Hardin and 380 in McKinney.

Yelp
Stopped here with a friend after shopping at Costco! So glad we came here on a whim. Tom was our server and he did an awesome job. My friend and I had the Pad Thai. He had his with chicken, mine with additional tofu. Tofu generally absorbs the flavor from the food. Never ever boring to me. We both had level 3 out of 5 on the spice level. My Pad Thai was perfect and needed no additional heat. His was lacking in the spice department. That tells me it's fresh. Too be honest, it's always best that food is not too spicy. One can always add more spice. It's hard to go back if it's too hot. This really was great food. I like that it wasn't sweet. Often, I can't eat Pad Thai because it's to sweet for my taste. They did a great job! Noticed the cooks in the back appeared to be of Asian decent. Not to be stereotyping, but the chefs did a great job! Usually, I know when the food has been "Americanized". Not a bad thing, but when I go to an Asian restaurant, I want Asian food. My palette is diversified. I can take the varied elements of heat in my food. Thanks for a great lunch. 2/2021

Yelp
Went here for a quick bite to eat. Place is clean, waitress was kind. When we walked in we were the only ones but soon enough there were a few more tables. We ordered the crispy tofu. Which was okay although the tofu was just fried and not really crispy. Not even sure if you can get tofu crispy to be honest. The sauce that accompanied the tofu was so-so. Needed some heat and the onion pieces were a little on the big side. Main course I ordered the Tiger Cry which was okay plate of fresh salad with grilled beef slices. The highlight was the ball of sticky rice that was served in foil. Rice was good. The dipping sauce had flavor however after a while became rather salty which I guess was okay given the beef had no seasoning on it at all. The other main course we ordered was Pak Kee Mow with shrimp. Large portion which was a good sign, fresh veg and shrimp. However the noodles were way over cooked as they quickly turned to mush and there was definitely way too much soya sauce as the dish was rather salty. A shame cause it had good reviews however we were rather disappointed. Guess we will continue our search for a good Thai in Dallas.

Yelp
Looking for something different we chose Thai. What a surprise. Many times a stip center joint us just a fast food wannabe. Not this one. This location on 380 in McKinney was a great find. Cooked to order, fresh, very yummy. Full bar, attentive service - cozy little gem. This will be our go-to for Thai!

Scott K.

Yelp
The McKinney location is terrific. Yaya, one of the servers, is wonderful. And she makes just about the best dirty martini I've ever had! The food is consistently good. Just a superb eatery.

Yelp
Not only is the staff at this restaurant beyond amazing, but the food is absolutely delicious. With several vegan options available, i've tried them all, and lots of regular food! I love the fried tofu and the Thai basil fried rice specifically. I always get it with no spice, but you can make it super spicy if you'd like and add extra veg if you'd like! The restaurant is always clean and the staff really works hard to ensure that we had a great experience, which we did! Try their hot tea or Thai tea if you are looking for something special to try here! Special shout out to gig the manager for her hard work! She is always there when I go in and it's nice to see a friendly face! Thankyou all for your hard work!
