My wife, daughter, and I went to eat at Spoon + Fork Thai Kitchen around 5pm yesterday. We were sat immediately as they only appeared to have takeout orders and no dine-in customers.
We ordered a large Tom Kha with chicken, Pad Thai with chicken, Orange Chicken, Thai Basil Fried Rice, and the Crab Cream Cheese to start. Everything came out hot, and fairly quickly with the exception of the Tom Kha.
The Pad Thai was good, but had a "seared" taste to it as maybe something was cooked a little too long. The Basil Fried Rice was good overall and had good flavor. The Orange Chicken was probably the best item as the chicken stayed crispy, even after the sauce had coated the chicken for several minutes, and we enjoyed the addition of cabbage and broccoli that served as the bed for the chicken.
Despite the lack of business, the Tom Kha didn't come out until after we finished and boxed the rest of our food to take home (roughly 25-30 minutes). The flavor of the soup was good, but my wife said it was a little too sweet and deserved more lime to balance the coconut milk.
Overall, it served the purpose of a pre-movie dinner, but it may be a while before we're back to try other items.
