On the Grid : Spoons

"This cozy spot is more than your neighborhood coffee joint. Serving breakfast all day (well, until they close at 2 p.m.), Spoons not only roasts its own coffee—it also offers dishes like cinnamon roll pancakes and apple pie crumble French toast. Want something a little more savory? How do slow-smoked pulled pork stacked fries sound? If brunch is your favorite excuse for going out on a Sunday morning, don’t miss out on Spoons." - Planit

Spoons is hands-down one of the best breakfast spots in Federal Hill — maybe in all of Baltimore. From the moment you walk through the door, the warm, cozy vibe hits you, and you know you’re in for something special. It’s got that perfect neighborhood café energy where you feel welcomed whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor. The coffee is absolutely top-notch — bold, smooth, and locally roasted. You can tell they take it seriously here. And the menu? A total dream for breakfast and brunch lovers. My hubby always orders the 2-2-2 and I get the Eggs Benedict. They are always on point. The Breakfast Burrito and Crab Benedict are also winners, packed with flavor and fresh ingredients. What really sets Spoons apart is the service. The staff is consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to be there. Even when it’s packed (which it often is), they keep things moving with ease and a smile. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Federal Hill, do yourself a favor and make time for breakfast at Spoons. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again — and bring your friends along next time.

Great little place, tucked away. Grits were delicious! BLT sandwich yummy. Pancakes good, sweet. Might not need syrup.

Top 10 best meals of my life. PHENOMENAL breakfast. The stuffed French toast was so, so delicious. The Burrito was amazing.

Went for brunch with a friend. The wait time (advertised 15 minutes) was less than all four places that we stopped to prior. & honestly the wait time was less (7 minutes) but we only needed a table for 2. Our table was located upstairs which wasn’t a problem at all. The atmosphere was great lots of art. Very peaceful and quiet. The server was very friendly & greeted us with a smile & water in hand. The drinks came first. Both ordered the latte, salted caramel for me. The food didn’t take long. I order The Beast it was wonderful and the homemade biscuits are a must try. The fried oysters and grits w/ bacon and mushrooms are chefs kiss. They ran out of French toast, so the stuffed pancakes was a great substitute. 10 out of 10 I definitely will recommend this place for family friends even to just enjoy it by yourself.

Google
Delicious food, incredible service, great atmosphere. And a small space make you feel so welcome and warm. It is a real townhome five expanding this from a question a cozy getaway. This is a great adult breakfast spot.

Breakfast this morning at Spoons Cafe in Federal Hill was absolutely fabulous! I created my own egg scramble with spinach, Swiss cheese, mushrooms, and turkey sausage — what a winning flavor combination. Every bite was satisfying. The dish came with breakfast potatoes that were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, especially with the addition of sweet, caramelized onions. I opted for a biscuit instead of toast, and it did not disappoint — buttery, flaky, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had. My son ordered the Fancy AF breakfast sandwich, stacked with fried eggs, applewood-smoked bacon, Swiss cheese, cilantro aioli, oven-roasted tomato, and arugula on a grilled brioche roll. He enjoyed every bite. Our drinks — an iced coffee and a mocha — were also spot-on. We arrived right when the restaurant opened, so there was no wait, even on a Sunday morning. That said, this experience would be well worth waiting for.

Google
My group and I had a great time here today. We came in for lunch and, it's true, you really should make reservations. At noon on a Sunday the wait was about 45 minutes to seat four people. When it was our turn to be seated, the wait staff was very friendly and made jokes with us from the start. I imagine and hope that all the staff here were as friendly. I hate that I didn't catch her name! The coffee we had was fabulous, both in presentation and in taste. We tried the egg nog coffee, the marshmallow coffee, and their regular black drip, all great. Yes, the marshmallow coffee actually comes with a toasted marshmallow! The food was fantastic too. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and the food came out quickly and hot. I love that they have great sweet and savory options for brunch. The only odd thing was that there is a little bit of a rush here to turn the tables to new customers. I totally understand it though. With a great restaurant like this in such high demand and with such little seating, you need to keep the hungry people flowing so everyone can have a chance to enjoy it.

Google
Quick Service. Great Food. Affordable. LBGTQ friendly! After being greeted by a friendly hostess at the door, we were seated immediately, walking into a cute rustic ambience surrounded by quirky art! We were served within 15mins of ordering with our dishes served with beautiful plating and even more delicious food. Highly recommend the breakfast potatoes and the pancakes! Would definitely come again on our next visit!!

Yelp
Came back recently and just wanted to say how delicious the pancakes were and I really enjoyed my breakfast burrito! Loved the service as well, everyone was so nice

Yelp
While visiting the area, my friend and I stumbled across this spot and turned out to be pretty good! Food: 8/10 - I had the 2-2-2, this was the perfect amount of food and filling! Everything was cooked to perfection! The eggs were a bit cheesy for me, but were scrambled great! My friend had the "Jack and Diane", and mentioned it being really good as well. Service: 8/10 - Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Ambiance: 9/10 - this spot gives quaint and spacious cafe vibes. Its intimate setting is perfect for a small number brunch group.

Yelp
(Updated rating) We were seated pretty quickly but took like 10 minutes for a server to come but once they came along the service was pretty solid. I had the 2-2-2 with pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausage Patties and I also had the deep fried sweet cream stuffed French toast. 2-2-2 pancakes, sausage Pattie's, scrambled eggs (2.5/5): the 2-2-2 was pretty average for the most. The pancakes were okay, The eggs were standard, and the sausage Pattie were solid. I definitely wouldn't get it again tho. Deep fried sweet cream stuffed French toast (4.5/5): the stuffed French toast was very good. I have been on an ongoing mission to find the best stuffed French toast since ihop sadly got rid of them but these are the 2nd best l've had after ihop of course. Spoons' sweet cream stuffed French toast was pretty filling as well and I would definitely recommend it and return for it in the future.

Yelp
Spoons is a cute little breakfast/brunch restaurant hidden in Fed Hill! I visited during a weekday, so there wasn't a wait. I feel like the menu had something to offer everyone! My eyes were bigger than my stomach and I opted to try the beast-- a very big chicken sandwich with egg and sausage gravy on top. I didn't finish it all, but it was tasty and will definitely fill you up!

Marc C.

Yelp
I usually don't go out to breakfast considering it's one of the easiest meals to make and the cost of eating out for breakfast usually isn't worth it. However, I wanted to try this place out to see what the hype was about. I ordered the 2-2-2 breakfast with over easy eggs, ham, and French toast. My friend ordered the Greasy Spoon with bacon, potatoes, sausage, over easy eggs, and toast. The food was okay but I was not impressed considering how popular this place is. Southside Diner is a better place for a little bit less in price and a more lively atmosphere. There was an issue with my friend's meal so it was comped. The waitress was fantastic and very nice. The restaurant adds an automatic 18% gratuity which isn't a big deal but can be for some. We were seated as soon as we arrived which I was amazed at since this place always looks busy when I pass by it. This place was mid overall but that's good enough for some if not most people.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday morning and had to wait about 30 minutes - but was soo worth it! I had their breakfast burrito and added chorizo and my boyfriend had the hot hen with fries. We shared strawberry mimosa carafe which was sooo delicious! Definitely recommend coming here for brunch!

Yelp
Absolutely adorable spot! Was just there on Sunday with my three children and my mom and we all loved everything about it! I especially liked that the establishment was small of which made it feel cozy . The decor was super cute, nice artwork. Now the food!!! Me, my Mom and one of my daughter's (16years old) had the deep fried oysters and grits and BABYYYYY !!! Omg!! They oysters were nicely fried with a lil crisp, the grits had mushrooms and bacon with some type of mushroom gravy broth or something, I don't know how to describe it, but it was so so very good! My other children said that everything was good and they wanna come back. The service was good as well!

Yelp
Spoons Cafe is a small breakfast/brunch spot in Fed Hill. I visited with a friend who lives in Baltimore and it was a great experience. We went around 9:45am on a Saturday morning and we didn't have to wait for a table! The coffee was the real star of the show. The pumpkin maple cold brew with cold foam was delicious, not too sweet or artificially flavored. My friend had the iced oatmeal latte and enjoyed it too. I had the smoked salmon benedict with breakfast potatoes. The breakfast potatoes were delicious but the benedict itself was salty and not something that I would personally order again. My friend got "the beast" breakfast sandwich and it was a hit and a huge portion which makes up for the steeper price ($18+). The service was great and the staff was attentive. The food came out quick which was perfect because we stopped for a quick bite before heading to Penn station. This is a perfect place for a date, catch up with a friend, or somewhere to bring family when they are coming into town. If I was coming with a larger group or later in the day, I would definitely expect a wait or make a reservation!

Yelp
Spoons Cafe is a delightful brunch spot, exuding a cozy ambiance accented with a great vibe inside and lots of plants at the entrance. The service is quick and they ensure you're promptly served. The biscuits are great, and I recommend the Rock Bison biscuit sandwich. The biscuit is tasty and not too dry, and the sandwich is packed with flavors. If you're craving a leisurely brunch, Spoons delivers on both exceptional vibes and delicious food. A great brunch spot overall.

Yelp
Went to spoons this morning for breakfast and was not disappointed! Although there was a wait, we were seated in 15 minutes. Very casual cozy vibe, and upstairs was very comfortable. Iced coffee, Breakfast burrito and potatoes were delicious. A little more expensive than a diner, but food and coffee quality are definitely worth it! Highly recommend if you're in the area'

Yelp
Spoons cafe reminds me of one those quaint cafe you see on movies. These type of cafe are the best cafe. The staff cares about their customer and the quality of the food is on point. I was a little worried about the 45 min wait but I was able to get walk in and get a seat for my party of 2. The latte are delicious and their home made biscuits are amazing (fyi: get there early because once the biscuit are gone for the day, that's it) Our server was very sweet and accommodating and made great recommendations. Order yourself the deep fried French toast filled With sweet cream and any sand which that has the biscuit. You will thank me later!

Yelp
I like coming to Spoons to catch up with friends or family with a good cup of coffee and delicious brunch. Today I came to Spoon's to celebrate my dad's 60th birthday! The staff were so friendly and quickly attended to our orders. The Vegetarian version of the Egg's Benedict was delicious, I highly recommend! The coffee was a bit cold when it arrived, but otherwise this is a excellent brunch spot in a cute neighborhood. Street parking is your primary option, there is also a parking garage near by. The restrooms are clean and organized. Weekends can get quite busy, so plan ahead! I came today on a weekday and it was quite and far less busy, just nice cozy breakfast vibes.

Yelp
After a desultory dining experience at another establishment last week I stopped by here a few days ago and Spoons is still offering the best brunch. My server Jessica was thorough and kind. The brick interior and hardwood floors make it feel like I'm at someone's house rather than an anonymous retailer. The food is still exquisitely curated. Only wish they had something closer to home!

Yelp
So finally, I visited Spoons in Baltimore with some friends today. The food didn't disappoint. FYI, they only take reservations for the weekend, and they will text you when the table is ready. I already knew I wanted to try the oyster and grits, cinnamon roll pancakes, and the hibiscus ginger mimosas! The oysters were seasoned right, and grits were good. However, I would leave the mushrooms off when I order this dish next time. Overall, it's a hidden gem for a lazy brunch day!

Yelp
18% auto gratuity on all checks...... Spoons coffee w/creamer -$4.25 (on the watery side, not strong at all) Typical hipster cafe- where everything is charged. All sides are Separate. Purchased: the 2-2-2( 2 eggs, bacon and toast)- pancakes good, eggs were not real (substitute) and the bacon was good And the Challah French toast - nothing out of this world. Takes like a basic French toast you can make at home Overall 2/5: basic cafe with overpriced menu selections and an automatic gratuity on all bills (defeats the purpose of servers actually trying)

Yelp
It's rare that everything about a restaurant is perfect, but those were my exact thoughts upon leaving Spoons. Okay, okay! If forced to pick one bad thing, I would say be prepared to eat a days worth of calories in one sitting. Otherwise.... The restaurant itself is beautiful. The ambiance is perfect for any event. The service and the staff are cool. We felt the perfect mix of privacy and taken care of. The drinks were delicious. I almost never like coffee products. However the flavors and consistency were perfect. The food ... everything must be homemade. The food is rich, but did not taste artificial or overly salty. The biscuit gravy was amazing, but I couldn't eat it all. We ended up taking half the food with us and it was just as good when we ate the left overs a few hours later. You can't go wrong with Spoons.

Yelp
I went on a Sunday morning it was a hour wait. The hostess at the front got smart with me when I asked how long did I have left for my wait after I left for a while and came back. She said she wasn't keeping exact tIme. I felt that she could have been more polite . I about to leave because I was already waiting awhile to be seated. After waiting over an hour we were sat upstairs. It was a relaxing vibe with jazz in the background. The food was bland and kinda pricey. The waiter was okay she checked on us periodically. I wasn't Impressed for the hype of the restaurant and the wait. The bacon had a funny taste, but it presented very well. The pancakes presented well and was the best thing. The eggs were really fresh and the potatoes were good.
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Jokingly, it seems like they just make you wait whatever time they tack on the front door just because they can There is plenty of wasted space upstairs. What they don't mention, is they tack on an 18% gratuity if you are seated upstairs - if you're tipping properly, it's not an issue anyway. Would just be nice to have had it mentioned before being seated up there. Otherwise, delicious food, knowledgeable servers, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Yelp
Spoons is located by Cross Street Market so the parking option is street parking. It is a popular area during the weekends so it may take a while to find a spot. This is a very cute cafe, nice art on the walls. It's kind of small but it isn't super small nor tight. I did see outside dining available although we ate inside. We were seated immediately. The service was ok. The food was good. The Deep Fried Sweet Cream French Toast is a must try! The biscuits are made from scratch and so good, fluffy and not dry. The mimosas were delightful.
google avatar

Rachel R.

Yelp
This is not a large place, but they're very up front about their seating limitations and wait times. You can't wait in the restaurant but you get a text message alert when your table is ready. They have their tables nicely spaced, so once you're seated you aren't sharing your dining experience with neighbors, which is an added bonus. The food was delicious. We had the Risotto Benedict and the sausage biscuit and gravy. The Benedict was amazing and like nothing I've ever seen on another menu. The biscuit was also delicious, though the gravy was fairly average. Breakfast potatoes are cooked to perfection and well seasoned. The restaurant only takes cards, no cash and 18% gratuity is automatically added to your check. I'm personally not a fan of this practice though I understand why restaurants do it. As someone who doesn't ever tip under 20%, I find this frustrating and potentially detrimental to servers. They do have their practice noted and our server highlighted it on the bill so it is not hidden. Overall a very tasty meal and positive experience.

Yelp
Spoons is a great brunch spot in Fed Hill! I haven't really heard a ton of hype around this place but there should be!! I came here with my parents on a Monday around 10:30, it's a fairly small restaurant and they only take reservations on weekends, but we were able to be seated right away. I ordered the fancy AF breakfast sandwich which was really yummy and I liked everything that they loaded it with. My mom got the hot hen which was a fried chicken sandwich on a biscuit. The chicken was super tender and the biscuit was fluffy and the sriracha honey was sooo yummy!! My dad got the 2-2-2 and really enjoyed it, the eggs were cooked perfectly and he said it was exactly what he wanted! I would definitely come back to try their coffee because I hear it's supposed to be good. And the service was super friendly making for an awesome experience!

Yelp
Delicious! In the Federal Hill district, I am usually pretty loyal to Blue Moon Too; however, they always fall flat with the seasonings. I came to Spoons to shake things up. I was very skeptical due to the slow cooking and no-thrills vibe! I was pleasantly surprised by the robust flavors and perfectly crispy, well seasoned home fries! I have a new regular in this neighborhood Parking- street parking or a garage two blocks over Ambiance- basic twist of modern and country Customer service- as expected Food- 7/10 (serve time was about 20-25 mins after I ordered on a slow, weekday morning) Prices- 7/10 (avg $15-25 for brunch) Because this is kind of a down home restaurant, if you're a germaphobe, you may consider bringing a UV light (I carry one in my purse), as the cooks/servers don't wear gloves or face masks. Also, the cutlery is sitting in a jar on the table so who knows how many hands may have touched them prior to you.

Yelp
Stopped by here after a workout class and would recommend 100%! The food is so good for brunch! We got The Beast and the Stuff French Toast. The French Toast was a little heavy than I expected and was a little overpowering on the cream but is a must try. I have nothing bad to say about the Beast! There is always a line here so make sure to come early or be prepared to wait!
google avatar

Yelp
We were staying in an Airbnb near spoons so this was walking distance and brunch all day made it easy for us to pop in later on our day out to museums. This place was poppin yet the wait was only 15 mins for a party of 3 around 10:30 am. Very cute vibe. Wouldn't be a good place to sit and work coffee shop, but definitely an in and out quickly grab your delicious breakfast and get on your way. Our waitress was pleasant and took our coffee orders quickly. I got the Vermonter (espresso, pure maple syrup, half-n-half). This would be my Starbucks if I lived here. Such great flavor without being too sweet. You could taste the coffee. And the creamy texture of the froth was something you don't get often. I am from the south so I can't turn down a good biscuit sandwich. I for the Rock Bison (Crispy buttermilk fried chicken breast, jalapeño pimento cheese, chipotle ranch, sliced dill pickle). Everything looked so amazing it was hard to decide but I was SO HAPPY with my choice. I also got a side of potatoes that left a lot to be desired. But luckily that just meant more room for my biscuit sandwich that I couldn't even finish. Can't recommend enough.

Yelp
What a lovely little cafe! We were there for a friends meetup and decided to pick Spoons for breakfast. The awesome art in the walls, the breakfast selection, the lighting, and friendly service! Loved it. *Note that spaces are limited and we had to squeeze 7 people into a 6 seate

Yelp
Had a really nice breakfast at Spoons yesterday! We were a little disappointed their fryer was broken so about half the menu was no longer available, but the food we ordered was excellent! It was easy to grab a table and food came out quick and fresh. The oatmeal cookie latte was super sweet but really yummy! I also tried the big spoon scramble! It was really good and we ordered a side of aioli which was AMAZING! Excited to come back again!

Yelp
We came for Friday brunch and surprisingly found the place to be packed! Luckily we got a table immediately. This was my first time coming despite hearing about it for many years. The service was quick and our server was very attentive. The food came out quickly. We got the toasted marshmallow mocha lattes- I might be biased with a sweet tooth but this was one of the best mochas I've ever had! I loved nibbling on the marshmallow throughout my drink. The huevos verdes were well done- a good option if you want something meatless and a little lighter in the morning. The side of potatoes was definitely the best part of this dish- crispy, savory, and browned perfectly. Other things our group enjoyed were the classic 2-2-2 and the eggs benedict. The ambiance at this place was so lovely, and I will definitely be returning again with more friends in the future.

Yelp
Reservations are definitely needed. It's a quaint cozy spot. The food is good. However they don't have a separate gluten free menu or many gluten free options. My second time here and both times i ordered eggs, bacon and sausage along with just having a mimosa. Due to my limited food options, I'm certain there won't be a third time for me. The staff is pleasant. Located in federal hill so please allow for enough time to find parking.

Sarah K.

Yelp
The blueberry pancakes were amazing! I didn't even need to use syrup because the blueberries were so sweet. I get breakfast here every time I visit Baltimore because the food is consistently amazing.
google avatar

Ashley W.

Yelp
ALWAYS a great food experience here! There's so many options for brunch- you can totally indulge and get one of their huge biscuits and their delicious grits. Or you have the option to go healthy and/or vegan with the chia seed pudding. Give yourself a little bit of time echase it does get full fast, but you can always kill time at Cross Street Market.
google avatar

Lorin S.

Yelp
First time here, and felt like I entered an exclusive club. Been trying to get in here for sometime, recommend making a reservation as that's the only way I got in with my wife (not sure how large groups make the cut!). But after eating here I know why. I was in breakfast heaven. Had the latte to start and went right for the fried oysters and grits. Grits were perfectly done in a mushroom, bacon like light broth. So flavors were out of this world. And the main star of the dish, the fried oysters- best thing I've eaten in a while. Salty, crunchy, buttery, nuggets of perfection. I topped it off with a poach egg for good measure, I'm greedy. I finished this whole experience off with a rumchata Cinnamon Toast latte, definitely a go to from now on when I return. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, was the service was lacking. It wasn't that busy and not many tables due to Covid. We never got water refills and had to interrupt the waitress to order another round of coffees. Will certainly return for the menu though, can't wait!
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
I will be dreaming about the hot hen sandwich ($11.60) regularly until I return again. Perfection on a biscuit- crispy fried chicken, sriracha honey, and dill pickles. Yum. My husband always orders the beast ($19.50- fried chicken breast, bacon, cheese, egg, and sausage gravy on a biscuit) and will probably always order it given how much he loves it. On our most recent visit, the drinks were also excellent (lavender vanilla latte, $5.25, and the alcoholic cinnamon toast rumchata latte, $10.25). The food came out very quickly, the specialty drinks a bit slower. The menu was a QR code, and you could also pay at the table with a QR code as well, making things very efficient. Overall, a great place for brunch. If you come early, it's not too busy. Two thumbs up!
google avatar

Mike W.

Yelp
My friend and I came here to grab breakfast and drinks. When we arrived we asked to sit at the bar which had ample seating available; we were told the bar is only for regulars unless it was just one person being seated. We were asked to sit at a table. The menu is limited and doesn't have a variety of options. The server took my order without writing it down and it came out incorrect, the potatoes are very greasy and lack flavor. The only good experience was the pineapple mimosas. Unfortunately, I didn't get the servers name, she never told us.
google avatar

Priya R.

Yelp
Our waitress was very nice and helpful! The feel of the cafe was also welcoming. Not pictured are the drinks- White Lightening with only 2 shots of espresso, not bad! The Salted Maple Cold Foam Cold Brew was not good to me, nothing stand out. The Rock Bison Biscuit Sandwich was good, perfectly cooked chicken. Maybe could've been spiced a little more. Wish I hadn't gotten the Huevos Verdes because it was lackluster, probably would've rather ate it authentically at a Mexican restaurant. Deep Fried Sweet Cream Stuffed French Toast was the best thing here! Gave me funnel cake vibes with lemony cheesecake filling in the middle. It paired perfectly with the berries.
google avatar

Paula R.

Yelp
Such a great breakfast spot in Fed Hill! I'm so surprised that I am just getting to visit this cute little joint. Everything we ordered was so delicious and their coffee is GREAT. As an avid coffee drinker this was a big big plus!!! Service was impeccable and would recommend this place to anyone!

Mariyam S.

Yelp
Spoons has a great vibe and I loved their outdoor seating. However, I was not a fan of their food or drinks. One of my biggest pet peeves is restaurants using singe-use plastics. The water and my cappuccino could have easily been served in something that's more environmentally friendly. I was also shocked to see how my cappuccino came half full (picture attached). I tried the Beast based on the reviews I'd seen but it fell very short of my expectations. The portion is reasonable, but it was a pretty lacklustre dish. Would I go back? Yes - I would give their other dishes a go!

A K.

Yelp
Spoons is extremely overrated. It's not the Spoons of the past. The upstairs has zero ambiance. Tables are seven feet apart to remind us of Covid-times. Food is hot or miss. Service is slow and mediocre as are the pancakes. The waitress had four tables but somehow managed to neglect her tables in favor of playing on her phone. If this restaurant had better front of house management its would suck less.
google avatar

Jameka C.

Yelp
This is my second review for Spoons. The food is still delicious. I was craving the oysters and grits again and I wasn't disappointed. Great mimosas and coffee. Make sure you make reservations it gets crowded.
google avatar

Shanda J.

Yelp
I took my mom and granddaughter to Spoons for brunch. The food was not only delicious, but it was very affordable. It was on a Saturday and it was a bit crowded, but we didn't really mind. It was worth the wait. Our server was very friendly and checked on us and even gave recommendations! The coffee was delicious as well! If you want a delicious brunch with incredible food, please visit Spoons Cafe. You won't regret it!!

Yelp
We that the specialty coffee with maple syrup and the cinnamon roll pancakes. Everything was delicious.

Yelp
A staple brunch spot in Fed Hill. This is a good spot for a casual brunch on a weekend while strolling around the area. Restaurant is on the small side so large parties will require advance planning, not saying it's impossible to get a table but likely will have to wait a long long time. Perhaps better luck when the weather is warm and they open up their tables outside. Over the weekend, might be good idea to call ahead or make a reservation in general. The vibe is typical American/slight farmhouse. Servers are nice and friendly and food turn around is fast over the weekend brunch Food: classic American. nothing really fancy or innovative. Just good comfort brunch food in decent portions. If you want a big greasy and delicious meal to soak up last nights regrets, "the beast" is there for you. Other highlights are a risotto Benedict and the fried oyster grits. On the sweet side their deep fried sweet cream stuffed French toast is sinfully delicious. Drinks: different variety mimosas, canned cocktails, spiked coffee drinks and beers. Overall good pairing for brunch. No bottomless brunch. Parking: street parking around the area, no lot

Yelp
Still a solid breakfast place. The wait is still very long to be seated, but they are very clear about their process--- and it has never actually taken the full amount of time that they quote. Service is still good, food still decent. They have a good biscuit for biscuit lovers.

Bridgette H.

Yelp
Everything was outstanding. From the food to the service we had a perfect brunch here. We got the greasy spoon (subbed ham for the bacon) and the banana pancakes, all delicious!

Yelp
They told me a 1 hour 45 min wait and we ended up waiting 35 minutes, put your name down they make up the wait times every time. As a warning, they don't allow outside drinks. The fancy af sandwich is very good! The breakfast potatoes are okay, a bit oily and not crisp but good flavor. The menu has good options, service isn't overly friendly but prompt and the food comes out quickly.

Yelp
Disappointing experience. Service was super spotty. And the food was mediocre. Came here at the recommendation of our friends who lives close by. Was able to get a table outside on nice day which was super nice. We ordered a bunch of stuff to share. Got the eggs Benedict with side of potatoes. The whole thing was underwhelming. The muffin was a very cheap quality muffin. The ham was also a little bit tough and over cooked. The egg was good, but nothing special. The flavor was just like a regular diner. The potatoes were a little bit soggy. The pancakes were actually a little bit better. The batter was consistent, and cooked well and tasted good. The service was nonexistent, and not friendly at all. We barely saw our server, and every time she came she was a little bit unpleasant. Prices are kind of high for what you get, portion size is pretty small. I really wanted to like this place, but the whole experience was subpar.

Yelp
Went for brunch on a Thursday morning. No wait time which was great! The food was really good. The latte was served hot not luke warm like other cafes so I liked that! Service was good! They did not take cash but making payment was very easy with the barcode. I sat outside, it was a good day and the whole vibe was cute! Will go again.

Yelp
We ventured here for my BFF's birthday and the food was ALL THAT!!! We all tried a different dish so that we could sample all of the deliciousness. My dish was the cinnamon roll pancakes, oh baby! I didn't need to even add the syrup. One of my BFF's got the grits with fried oysters, I'm not an oyster person but they were cooked pretty good the blessing was in the gravy they poured all around the rim of the grits, PERFECTION! The cream cheese stuffed French toast was epic, it had the perfect balance of crispy, dense and sweet! All of the dishes we ordered were really really good!! We will be back.

Yelp
Make sure you get a reservation since this place is always busy! The crowds come for a reason, the food is amazing! If you're hungry, I recommend getting the beast. Staff are all very welcoming and helpful too. Great spot for brunch

Yelp
Brunch before 9am... Exactly So let me start by saying the atmosphere here is very welcoming Cecilia was our server... Soooo sweet and pleasant The decor was cute and cozy Mimosas were flowing and definitely had my head light .... Great Brunch consisted of the 2-2-2 (filling) Fried Oysters and Grits (crowd Pleaser) Main event The Cinnamon Roll Pancake .... All take a minute to regain consciousness... EXCEPTIONAL BEST BREAKFAST in the area Please do yourself a favor and pay them a visit
