Sports Bar

If you have ever found yourself wandering through Disney Village and thought, "I’m having far too much fun; I’d like to be ignored in a room that smells faintly of broken dreams," then the Sports Bar is your spiritual home. Our visit was less of a dining experience and more of a sociological study on the limits of human patience. Here is a breakdown of the "service": * The Atmospheric Void: Upon entry, we were greeted by the refreshing sensation of being entirely invisible. It is a rare talent to look someone in the eye and project the internal dialogue of a dial-up modem, but the staff here have mastered it. * The Wanderer: One particular gentleman spent the duration of our stay performing what I can only describe as an interpretive dance titled "I Have Forgotten Why I Am in This Room." He traversed the floor with the vacant intensity of a man looking for a lost contact lens in a fog, successfully achieving a total output of zero. * The Request Cycle: We attempted to flag down staff with the increasing desperation of shipwreck survivors. Each request for a menu or an order was met with a polite nod that clearly translated to: "I hear your words, but I have decided to store them in a mental bin." The Verdict Eventually, we did some quick math. We calculated the remaining years of our lives against the probability of receiving a pint of overpriced lager. The numbers didn't look good. We realised that while "The Happiest Place on Earth" is right next door, this specific corner of it is where time goes to die. We left before we began to age visibly.

Arrived at 15.25 , it was snowing and freezing, entered the bar to be ordered back outside in the freezing cold to “wait” - there is no sign and it’s absolute absurd when inside they have a waiting area?? Then asked for a table for three, girl who is the main greet at the door said we could only sit down at the counter , asked can we sit in a booth to which she said “it’s for four people” found her really rude … and? So she asked another guy and he must’ve said this was okay. ordered x1 Diet Coke x1 Capp x1 hot chocolate x1 bottle of red wine , cheese board and potato tots. At 15.55 the drinks arrived Luke warm at 1600 potato tots brought but no cheese board , 1610 still no cheese board so assume that it’s not coming. Staff frequently walking round and talking to each other but ignoring the customers - unless your French/ local. Eventually one of the staff did acknowledge us and after over an hour offered to bring the cheese board as it was on our tab to pay for, similar situation on previous visits - Communication is off here- or lost in translation as If you thought this was odd , when we came previously I ordered a salad with croutons and a drink of lemonade / sprite. Then a salad that consisted of lettuce leaves ONLY & rock hard croutons arrived and the taste was vile it was so LEMONY! like they had put the lemonade in the leaves?? Really bizarre but vile. They do show some football games but with no sound , they cater more to locals than holidaying families. Food is poor and there is a vile smell when the kitchen door opens of poo.. I agree with a lot of the other points in other reviews- they did show an English football game whilst we were there but had to ask a few times, they usually show AI sport ?! Drinks were lukewarm , it’s overpriced and it’s not great. If you can and you’re not staying on the Disney park I would recommend buying food elsewhere and bringing it in for pic nics etc (but you can only have a picnic outside of the park! 😂) It is very miserable and if you dare leave to go to the toilet they question you on the way back in even when it’s near on empty.

3rd time visit to the sports bar the food was good its a simple menu not too big but what they do they do it well. It was a busy time of the day when i went so the service was a little slower then normal but that's understandable, Loved the football on the big screen and the decor.

3rd time visiting the sports bar, Staff take forever to take your order, you wait forever for a drink to be brought to you, Staff look like they cant cope. The inside smells like someone's dropped one! Only good thing here is the hot dogs!

Very long wait to be served though the restaurant was not crowded at all. Very long wait for the check so we had to head the counter to pay. Staff was nice tho. Good place to watch sports games

The staff need to be drawn a map to the tables and they might be able to bring the drinks quicker, I thought my funeral might come quicker than our drinks 🥴

I have to say our waiter Sebastian was one of the best waiters I have ever had. I have been to a lot of restaurants and don’t write reviews but made this exception. A beautiful restaurant/bar with great drinks and even better with happy hour. Emmet and Chloë

Saliou is an asset to your team - give the bloke a pay rise! What an amazing bunch of employees - so friendly and helpful, absolute delight to watch them interact with the other guests. I didn't order food, just beer but watching the food come out to other tables I think I'll be back for lunch tomorrow as it looked amazing and wasn't fake and pretentious like a lot of thebother spots I've seen A+ team - well done!

I should have look the reviews first or have a clue when I saw that people were waiting under the rain to eat at rain forest cafe and Annette's diner and this place has even place to seat under the heater. As my husband said 2 stars very accurate. Fries cold and much fish was good soda flat service okay. Nothing to make me come back

We ordered 2 chicken burgers One came out fine the other had barely any sauce, the chicken was dry and the cheese wasn't melted. The other one was hot and cheese melted and had sufficient sauce We also ordered the chicken nuggets and chips/fries Chicken nuggets are very bland and the sauce options are limited. Tomato, mustard and chili oil Pepperoni pizza was ok. Had worse in Disneyland or Disney World

This is my 3rd Disney park I've been to after Florida and California and I don't know if they think this is how American food is but its is horrible!!!! The only place we decent food is the Earl of Sandwich. Even in the park the food is horrible, I would rather eat at Mcdonalds then any of these Disney restaurants. First the service at the sports bar is horrible, waiter was extremely rude. I got a chicken sandwich which was ok, my wife got a pizza and it was just nasty. I have had $1 frozen pizza in the states better than this.

If I wanted minor league baseball food, I would have gone to a game! I'm pretty sure all the fruit flies are going to eat the food before I can.

While the sports bar was a nice set up with a very large television it however only showed one sporting event. We were there during the World Cup and want to watch the Mexico match but they said they were only going to show the Spain match even though it was after the Mexico match. This seems insane given the fact we're watching some limited tennis match from some part of Europe instead of live World Cup matches. The food was mediocre at best but they did have pizza and other things the kids like. So if you want a cold beer and mediocre barfood and they happen to be playing the game you want to see this could be a nice place.

Of all the places in Disney Village, I found the Sports Bar the best place to grab a pint while there. They have a good selection of beers from all over. You can get a Guinness, Budweiser, or Corona here along with all the local and French beers as well. It is like the name says, a bar, which is a different environment in most of Paris where it is all café style and you can't just sit down on a bar stool and grab a pint. The staff were very friendly and all spoke fluent English. We even ran into the bartender from our hotel who also works here, he was sound! We came here all three days of our visit and only once had an incident. On the Tuesday afternoon there was a middle aged blond lady with glasses who had a real attitude problem and took her time serving us and kept giving us dirty looks. She disappeared after a couple hours on the first day though and we didn't see her again. I can only imagine that the fate that befell her sister must have caught up with her as well and a house fell on her. Either way, it was a great spot for a pint sure.

Don't waste your time. It smells like rotten urine inside and the service is inattentive and super rude. Also, the food is microwaved frozen pre-fried garbage, so there is absolutely no reason to go to this crap hole.

This experience was bad enough to possibly keep me from ever visiting any Disney establishment ever again. We should have called the police on the staff. First, I'll address the basics. Food was terrible. The fish that the others at my table ordered were greasy, and my sandwich may as well have been a processed Bologna and cheese on a half stale baguette. My friend's son got a coffee drink next door and tried to bring it in to the sports bar. Not a problem at other Disney locations because it's all Disney. The staff put their hands on him when he tried to walk in the place with the drink. My friend saw what happened and went to talk to the staff person and asked to see the manager. The staff person refused and escalated the incident, and put his hands on friends chest and pushed him away after refusing to get the manager. Had we not been Americans in a foreign country and not wanted to represent poorly, we would/should have called the local authorities and pressed charges.

Terrible food. The chicken nuggets were straight out from the microwave, plus I found a fly in my food. Highly dont suggest this restaurant!
