Yelp
The worst management ever. Unfortunately there are no negative points for yelp, otherwise I'll give a -3. I have been here 2 games:
1) The first game was overbooked. It took about 20 minutes to solve (sort-of) the situation. Since we started 20 minutes later, we got promised that we would have been able to recover that time. Obviously that didn't happen and we played only 40 minutes. Let's give these guys a second chance.
2) On the second game, aware about what happened with the first, we tried to minimize any possibility for the management to mess up. We reserved the field a week before and we called 2 hours before the game to be sure that there was no overbooking. After being reassured that no mess was happening, we went to play and, guess what?, the game was overbooked again. That was really upsetting. We talked with the management again and we found out that we were the first to book the field. Any other management would have been apologetic, would have behaved professionally, would have admitted the mistake, would have behaved in a responsible way by communicating the bad news to the team that got overbooked after us and would have led us play (I mean, considering we didn't do anything wrong, we got overbooked on the first game and we even called 2 hours before to make sure that everything was right... COME ON!!!). But of course this management didn't do anything of that. They behaved like the issue was not their business. After a few calls/talks to who knows who, they decided to do nothing. It was like "I'm not going to do anything and I'll let these two teams to sort things out by themselves. In the end we wasted other 20 minutes, just to get to this unbelievable outcome. In the end they refunded the money back but still, this didn't save us the hassle and the excruciating frustration. We just wanted to pay and play. Easy!
To make a long story short, in 2 games:
- We got overbooked 2 times;
- We lost 20 minutes 2 times;
- The management is completely inefficient, unprofessional and doesn't take responsibility for mistakes. Hence there is no interest in resolving problems.
- There is no organizational skills. I mean, how difficult is it to run a business without overbooking teams?Seriously? Two times in a row?
- The management doesn't know what is happening in their fields, so you cannot trust them. If you call 2 hours before to make sure that everything is alright, they will tell you something based on nothing.
I could write a lot more but I think this should be enough. Hands down, Sports Creek has a really bad management.
Either they change it or they really learn how to run a business (it would be something if they would just learn how to use a calendar).
