Sports Grill Sunset

Came for SuperBowl night and the short chubby dude that usually attends customers in the front when you walk in, walked me and my lady outside with a good TV view of the game, ONLY for him to go back inside and have me and my girl wait for near a whole hour just for us to order our food. Then while Kendrick was performing, I got upset and went inside and seen the same dude that guided us to our table, have his arms crossed bopping his head with a beautiful black queen as his co-worker, doing the same thing while watching Kendrick perform. 😂😂 I walked up to him so quick and let him know we been sitting out there for a hour. His response was priceless. Looked like he seen a ghost when I told him about it and just rushed back to the kitchen as he should. Nonetheless, food was mid, especially the wings they were dry and barely seasoned. Burger was alright only cause my lady enjoyed it. Atmosphere was straight only due to the Super Bowl Overall service: 3/10 Would not recommend, way better sports bars out there ESPECIALLY in the Kendall area.

I just visited Sports Grill to pick up chicken wings and was really disappointed with their them. They were tiny—like, embarrassingly small—and definitely not worth the price. For what I paid, I expected wings with some substance, but these felt more like snack-sized portions. Flavor was good but they are mini sized. $30 + tip Save your money and go somewhere else!

Extremely Disappointed with the Service I’ve been a regular customer at this place, often bringing friends and family, but my recent experience with a waitress named Milly was unacceptable and disappointing enough to make me reconsider ever returning. From the start, Milly was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I asked about happy hour, instead of simply letting me know it starts at 9, she gave attitude and acted like it was a hassle to even answer. She told me, “You can’t order anything you’re gonna have to wait,” in a very blunt tone. While placing our order, one of my friends wanted to remove some toppings, and Milly rudely told us she had already put in the order and couldn’t make changes even though we were all still mid-order. When I asked for more sauce, she refused and walked away. I also asked for plates and utensils, and she told me we’d get them when the food came out except the food did come out, and no utensils or plates were provided. I had to go inside myself just to get basic dining essentials. To top it off, when it was time to pay, I clearly stated three times that we wanted to split the bill. As soon as I handed over the first card, Milly charged the entire bill to it. When I brought it up, she claimed saying she fixed it yet my friend still has the full charge pending on their card. If this isn’t resolved by tomorrow, I will escalate the issue. After charging the card, Milly walked away without a word no receipt, no thank you, nothing. It’s frustrating that one person’s behavior can tarnish the experience at a place I used to enjoy. But if this is how they treat loyal customers, I’ll happily take my business elsewhere.

This restaurant used to be on point, but it appears that they are falling off. I called in and placed an order and when I came to pick up my order it was not done correctly smh ( I requested my fries be cooked crispy and they were not) And my fish sandwich was not hot ) I will no longer be going to this restaurant. The sad thing is I can cook anything 100% better than this restaurant 😂… Congratulations 🎊 Sports Grill Sunset just lost a good customer 🤷🏾‍♂️✌🏾

We love Sports Grill wings. We were in the neighborhood and after some fasting for some blood work stopped in to devour some wings and a patty melt. This restaurant has the best Patty Melt in Miami. The service is always good and the food is made to order and always taste great. This place never gets the credit it deserves.

Wings are great, especially the Miami Heat and garlic buffalo, so good! Service is water ever, I noticed for some reason it better when they are not busy. I prefer is spot to the one closer to my house on Bird Rd, bathrooms are cleaner and the servers are not raunchy. As far as I can tell anyway.

We went to this place for the first time, the service was ok, the waitress could have been more attentive. The ambience was good, a lot of Football fans. The food was ok, the hamburger was not what I was expecting, too little of a burger for my taste, and the chicken tenders were good. I don't know if I will be coming back for more, I left feeling hungry and missing the sports bar excitement I'm use to it.

My go to spot for wings. This place is small, but cozy. Service is good, and food is better. Special grilled wings will forever be the best!

The wings are big, which some don't like preferring the small wings. That being said, I like the "special grill" and garlic, wings are available in several other flavors so pick your favorite. I use to get the Philly cheese steak on occasion. The sandwich is smaller now and the roll just doesn't taste as good as in prior visits. I can not comment on other main course menu items. So feel free to give 'em a try and let everyone know what you think. I will be sticking to the wings myself.

I accidentally posted a review last week to the Sports Grill in South Miami meant for the one in Sunset and 100th. I was very upset that a couple brought in their dog in a stroller that not only blocked the aisle to the tables but were hand-feeding it inside the restaurant. I love dogs and people but don't think they belong inside a restaurant with their owners when there are outside tables and a covered patio. It definitely was not a service dog and it is a violation of health rules. Sorry about the mistake in location but I was not happy to sit next to a dog .

Burgers were excellent fast service Love coming here. Ambience casual. Great for burger and a beer

Ordered 3 dozen wings online. Different flavors. Not great. Most of them were dry and seemed to have been cooked hours before. Will avoid. Service and pick up was good (Thursday)

Ive always been a sports grill fan over flannies (sorry not sorry) & this is my favorite location. Aside from it being in my neighborhood, it has such a homey feel which I really love. It has an inside & outside seating area & lots of long tables for groups. Their food is also so delicious - special grilled & bbq wings forever! Im also a huge fan of their new smash burger sliders & anything they do with Mahi.

We had good service they were busy. But the food quality was just ok. There are better options.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Doesn't matter what the occasion is, whether it's watching a game or finishing a night out, sports grill ALWAYS HITS. Best part is they have this amazing waitress, Alex C, who goes above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable. She's always friendly, attentive, and has a smile on her face. Not only does she take my order with precision (mostly because she's awesome enough to remember what I always get lol), but she also makes great recommendations from the menu. Alex C truly adds that extra touch of warmth and hospitality to the place. Her sense of humor and smile breaks the ice with ease and makes it seem like we've been friends for years. You'll definitely feel like a VIP with her around. Make sure to ask for her when you visit!! P.S she makes the best lemon drops I've ever had....

C'mon now everyone who loves wings has to know that this is the original wing king. Growing up in Kendall when you wanted the best wings you came here. Now they have other great things on the menu like waffle fries with cheese sauce, nachos, philly cheesesteaks ,burgers, hotdogs, mozzarella sticks...you get the point. But this spot is world famous for their wings, especially the special grilled flavor. It is all that and then some. I usually like to dip my wings in ranch sauce but these wings come so seasoned and grilled to such perfection nothing else is needed but do what you like. There are other great wing flavors to try too but please try the specialized wings first, they'll win your heart trust me and then feel free to dip always in hot sauce, bbq, ranch, bleu cheese....whatever floats your boat. On certain days they have drink specials if you want drinks and eats. Decor inside is definitely bar divey and friendly AF atmosphere. For good food, best wings, and best service you come here. Restaurant was clean and quiet. Good music but not too loud. The staff was nice and gaby our waitress was very good. We ordered the fish dip to start which was delicious and my husband got boneless wings and fries with the teriyaki sauce which he loved. I got a salad with grilled onions and grilled chicken with honey mustard which was very good. Food came out in a timely manner. Will be back. One of my favorite sports grills.

Honestly, Sports Grill is like no other. This is the location I go to the most and the neighborhood feel is great. There are TVs everywhere to catch your favorite games and the staff is willing to change the channels for you when asked (we asked for a Panthers game recently). Food comes out quick and my absolute favorite are the special grilled wings! Also, can't forget the waffle fries with a side of cheese. They have plenty of cold beer options and now cocktails too! Can't go wrong with sports grill visit to have some yummy food and a good time.

We were planning on going somewhere else, but ended up here last night and it was meant to be. Everyone talks about their wings, but the star of the restaurant is their smash burger. Perfectly cooked!!! Our server was amazing. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. It was a little loud but what can you expect from a sports bar? Will definitely be back!!!

THE MIAMI CLASSIC: SPORTS GRILL ON SUNSET. I am happy to say I came back to this location and it hasn't changed. Still the same delicious wings and fries. Not to mention the great staff and cold beer :) We came and sat anywhere. Our server came right away and took our order. We got the nachos as an appetizer. Nachos were great! FULL of ground beef. My only complaint is that it didn't have tomatoes and other veggies but it was FULL of meat and you really can't beat that. Now the star of the restaurant: the wings. So they added two new flavors: Lemon pepper and blueberry dale. Wow. What an amazing addition to their flavors. The lemon pepper is tasty and savory while the blueberry dale is sweet and has an amazing depth of flavoring. Both outstanding flavors to add to their menu. My only complaint is that I think they have raised their wing prices which kinda sucks. I guess it will force me to go when they have deals. (Thank you Christine for clarifying the pricing, that's horrible but I wouldn't change the wings either!) We ate all of our food FAST and I was happy to be back to my old chilling stomping grounds. Keep it up sports grill :)

Went for the Canes game today and had an awesome experience. Emily recommend the blackberry bbq wings and I now have a new favorite flavor here! She was very knowledgeable on all the beer questions I had.

Came here for a girls wine night and Alex C made my night amazing !! she told me about the specials for the night and definitely makes me wanna keep coming back for more ladies night. Sports grill fan till I die . PS. the new shrimp po boy is to die for !!! alex told me I could add grilled onions and i have never been quicker to order a sandwich in my life

This place has a nice selection of beers and liquors kindly offered by my server Emily. She recommended the Kona IPA, and it was not to shabby.

Went the other day to grab a couple of drinks before going out with some friends, and almost stayed there the whole night lol Alex C was making some stellar drinks for my friends and I, we almost didn't want to leave!

My family went and our server, Alex C, gave us food and drink recommendations that we decided to order and they did not disappoint. Even during a busy game day Alex was very attentive to our table. I've been coming to sports grill sunset since I was in 10th grade. SW high sports assembly. We've seen this place go from Smokey dart boards to video games . And now as a family we come here often w our kids and their families and the waitress that always makes our day is Alex Garcia. She always make sure our cups are full My kids drinks included We do a lot of after game get fighters here because it always feels like home. Garcia is the best server you can ask for . Along with the rest of the Sunset Sports grill team I highly recommend. Come give them a try

Wow, the quality has gotten awful. The "crowd favorite" nachos were embarrassing. The fries were so stale, definitely days old. The wings were as hard as a rock. Safe to say I won't be ordering from here anymore.

We came to watch the game between Cuba and the United States and had a terrible time. Paul, the manager, kept switching the TVs and refusing to let us watch the World Baseball Classic. He didn't care that there were other people watching the same game. He put the UM game on all of the TVs and told us that if we didn't like it, we could leave. Thank you for ruining the game for us, Paul; you'll never catch me in this lame ass place again!!

Well, this place has definitely gone down since the last time I was here a couple years ago pre-Covid. I dunno if it's that food prices have risen, but this burger with a few fries is NOT worth $17. It had no tomatoes, lettuce, mustard, mayo, and was really flavorless. It looked like it was very hastily put together. A pint of Sam Adams' Oktoberfest is $7.50. I must not be the only one feeling the same way because there were only 5 tables occupied in the place. The servers were good, and it's not their fault the place has clearly lowered its standards. Another establishment that I won't patronize again

i had the best experience here! our server Alex C was the best! she was always be attentive to our party and would make sure we got everything we needed. i ordered the san diego chicken sandwich and it's now my favorite, the chicken is very juicy and tender. highly recommend.

I love sports grill. Been eating sports grill for over 15 years!! So when prices go up I understand it's not the establishments fault however... if I'm paying almost $20 for 10 wings I would expect those wings to be a decent size. Half of the wings I received were smaller than my pinky!!! Many of the boneless wings were also so small in comparison to others. If there are gonna be really small wings maybe throw in 1 or 2 extra? Idk but it's way too expensive for the size/portion. Still love the taste but not sure how much longer I would be able to support the business.
