Our server was great and was very nice to my girlfriend and I, but the food and its price did not match the server's hospitality at all. I ordered the Cajun chicken nachos and my girlfriend ordered the shrimp platter with fries, broccoli, and hush puppies. We also ordered an apple cobbler with ice cream for dessert. I just want to preface the rest of my review with the fact that I honestly don't mind paying a premium price for quality food. I look at trying new restaurants as an experience so it upsets me when that experience doesn't match the cost. Our food didn't take long to come out so that was great, but when it did my girlfriend immediately realized that her fries were cold. Dang. Strike one. We asked for hot fries and they brung them. Ok, cool. I'm eating my nachos and I realize that the chicken is MAD dry and it seemed like they only put a tiny dollop of queso in the middle of the pile of chips... Dang. Strike two. My girlfriend said the shrimp was good so we were happy with that. The apple cobbler was decent. The apples for the cobbler are definitely canned but l probably wouldn't expect much more from this establishment. So we're done munching down on the cobbler and we tell our server that we are ready for the bill. She brings us a handheld POS that's displaying a price of about $43. Dang. Strike three.
Lets recap! Friendly server, cold fries, dry nachos, and average cobbler. This establishment's food is not worth the money spent and we will not be returning. Thanks for reading!
