Great local sports bar with friendly and professional staff. Tasty fare with a wide range of food choices. Sit in the separate dining room or sit in the bar area and enjoy the local “Cheers” feeling. They also do a great take out menu.

Friendly neighborhood restaurant with lots of good eats for relatively good prices. I got the salmon entree, grilled chicken tender entree, and the Monterey Chicken Sandwich. I also ordered the classic Juicy Jay. I highly recommend this establishment.

Enjoyed my time here. Somewhat quick service. Ordered an appetizer and it took a while, but knew they were busy. Peel & Eat Shrimp Appetizer was good. However, some were not clean and I still have the smell of them on my hands. I think they should request gloves for patrons who order this dish. Overall, good job.

This is my first time eating at this establishment and when I say nothing I ordered had any flavor… not even the hush puppies had flavor. While the food looks really good I was expecting some kind of flavor once bitten into. Even salt and pepper couldn’t really help.

Update: Food quality, and service have both declined. Ordered takeout last night, I received about half the amount of pasta as usual and no rolls. Our ranch cheese fries were salty, and somehow, a few dried cranberries were mixed in with our bacon. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this restaurant. ***Pictures are from my PREVIOUS review, not the the mess we received last night.***

Sports page is our go-to place at work for a great meal. Good cost and excellent service. Been coming here for years and has never disappointed.

The best monte cristo IMO. If you get it to go just make sure they remember the jam on the side. So good.

Food is always delicious, service is wonderful at Sports Page Coulwood in Charlotte NC. I've been going for over 20 years and it keeps getting better and better. Staff is amazing and always go over and beyond gor everyone to have a pleasant experience. Diane Keistler

Lemon Pepper wings WET!!!!!! This spot is a local staple. I'm only aware of two locations and I live in between both. I definitely recommend. The service is cool ‍ the ambiance is what it is .

I just ordered a Ribeye sandwich with extra garlic broccoli. It was awful. The steak poked like it had been sitting for awhile. The cheese looked like it was just thrown on the bread and heated up. The broccoli did not have any extra garlic on it. The steak was dry and had a funny after taste. Had to throw the meal out. The sanitation score is also very low. It's 94.5. I won't be going back or ordering from this restaurant again. Used to have a good score and good food. I'm really diassapointed.

This place is a little hidden spot, you have to come and tried, the food was amazing and the service as well. The ambiance really chill and the price are amazing. I will def come back here and do the drive from uptown.

If you like soul food, this is the place for you fried fried fried. They know how to do it. You might need to add some extra salt or pepper or bring some hot sauce but other than that is your typical soul food restaurant if you sit at the bar the bartender will pour you a good drink. If you order a drink at your table it's probably going to be pretty weak so I don't recommend ordering a cocktail, if you are sitting in the family dining area your drink probably won't be good, but if you are sitting in front of the bartender, she will make sure you have a good time tacos depending on which one you get some have better ingredients than others

Probably won't be back. Food took way too long to come out and was not cooked well. It wasn't busy but the service was in attentive and slow. The last several times we have come here it was disappointing. It's a shame as it used to be a good option. Maybe they had turnover, maybe they just don't care anymore...either way I don't intend to waste a night out here again in the near future.

This is a fantastic local spot! The food options are plentiful and the specials are fantastic. I was there for fajita night and they smelled amazing! I chose to try chicken tenders. They were freshly breaded and tasted great. I didn't love their fries, prefer a fresh cut, but they were not bad. Our server provided us with great service throughout the meal.

Service is great and food is delicious! Always a nice experience . Can't wait till they bring back the Corned Beef Ruben Sandwich!

My friend wanted me to try out this spot for taco Tuesday, seeing as they have great deals on tacos. The staff was rather friendly and the food was reasonably priced. I was visiting in the area looking for somewhere to eat that's not fast food. Stopped in and was pleasantly pleased. The wings were some of the best I have had. Also had the pretzel which was huge. Would stop again if in the area.

food was mixed some good some just ok. was not prepared as ordered. wings were good my steak sandwich was poor plus asked for no peppers and got 3 varieties. service was good.

I just want to preface the rest of my review with the fact that I honestly don't mind paying a premium price for quality food. I look at trying new restaurants as an experience so it upsets me when that experience doesn't match the cost. Our food didn't take long to come out so that was great, but when it did my girlfriend immediately realized that her fries were cold. Dang. Strike one. We asked for hot fries and they brung them. Ok, cool. I'm eating my nachos and I realize that the chicken is MAD dry and it seemed like they only put a tiny dollop of queso in the middle of the pile of chips... Dang. Strike two. My girlfriend said the shrimp was good so we were happy with that. The apple cobbler was decent. The apples for the cobbler are definitely canned but l probably wouldn't expect much more from this establishment. So we're done munching down on the cobbler and we tell our server that we are ready for the bill. She brings us a handheld POS that's displaying a price of about $43. Dang. Strike three. Lets recap! Friendly server, cold fries, dry nachos, and average cobbler. This establishment's food is not worth the money spent and we will not be returning. Thanks for reading!

Good food, great service, awesome patrons. My dad's favorit place because of the beer and daily specials. Can't go wrong here.

I've always came here since high school whether i order to go or go in. Tonight we got 2 chicken tender dinners with both sides as bacon/cheese fries no ranch. Simple mistake and ranch was added but they fixed it 100% by adding more portion and even giving me a refund for waiting which they didn't have to do. Amazing customer service & great food! thank you so much

Seared tuna salad was terrible Was Italian dressing with feta cheese, Not at all as advertised Tuna was paper thin Awful

I had never actually heard of this place but it came up as a nearby restaurant in the area that I was located so, we headed over. There was plenty of parking available. When I walked in I realized that the restaurant wasn't as diverse as I'm accustomed to but it was packed. We were seated quickly in the bar area. The table service was mediocre but the food & drinks were sooooooo delicious!

Food is great and service is great if you eat there. Do not call in for a food order though. I can't tell you how many times they have messed up my to go order. Whoever does the phone needs to do a better job because its frustrating to pay for food and not have it.

Our waitress was really nice and attentive. After hearing so much about the wings here we gave them a try and was not really impressed. Our entrees were just okay as well.

Excellent food, friendly service at great prices. I had the brisket tacos which were great. My husband had the fried flounder with hush puppies. He has enough food for three people.

Stopped here to watch the game on Sunday. Good amount of people but we were seated quickly. Service was great, from the hostess to our waitress Deanna. We ordered the barbalo (buffalo/bbq) wings, they were good. Then for the entree I ordered the chicken sandwich which was good, but came with cold stale fries. I didn't say anything to our waitress because I wasn't super hungry to begin with and knew I wouldn't have ate them if they brought me out more. My boyfriend ordered the blackened salmon with mac and cheese and collard greens. His favorite thing were the collard greens. Unfortunately the salmon had 0 flavor, not even salt or pepper. Salmon was very bland considering it was supposed to be blackened.

I love love love this place. I always get the mushroom appetizer- love them! Everything on the menu is very flavorful. This time i had the steak salad (pictured) and it was delicious. I've also tried the Monterey chicken, fajita salad, wings and their specials. The portions are big. My family and i really enjoy it and it's so close to our home. I've even ordered to-go curbside and the food is always hot and well packaged. The staff is also friendly and the servers are very attentive.

I ordered a blacken shrimp pasta which comes with a side of house salad and a bread roll , the pasta was fine but I never got the bread roll, now the most disappointing part was definitely the salad , they literally gave me half of the lettuce ball like what kind of house salad is that !

We are having this catered once again for our July 4th dinner at work. There are soooo many places in Gastonia they can get to cater and yet they get this disgusting, filthy and nasty food. This place is disgusting! If you want rancid food go here. Save your money and go somewhere with a good sanitizing rating. I'm sorry, anything below 98% I'm not eating there. This place has 88%! No thank you!

Incredible food, incredible service, very sports like atmosphere, but it's extremely enjoyable, and the service is always great, and with a smile Definitely highly recommend checking this place out as much as you can. Especially on Tuesdays. Get a bang bang shrimp taco.

Great combination of flavors for the food and nice size. Service is great and full pour for the drinks. Price for the products very fair.

Food is great hand made old school burgers and wings and big appetizers pretzel is a MUST

We ordered from Sports Page for the first time. They have a wide variety of choices on the menu. It took us a while to decide. We decided we wanted to try the fried pickles! They didn't disappoint! So good! We got the fried gulf shrimp. They were large and juicy on the inside and crisp and crunchy on the outside, they were still warm . Just the way they should be. The cocktail sauce had just the right kick. The french fries could be a little more crisp but that could be because it was delivered. We also got the fish taco the sauces were great and liked all the tacos but the shrimp one was the favorite. I also got a side of fruit. It was fresh and ripe. No recently frozen or mushy. It was really good. No complaints what so ever! Arrived on time. Very happy with our order.

Still the biggest chicken sandwich I've had in Charlotte and one of the bigger burgers as well! Great value for the prices, the wings are fantastic, we love the bang bang sauce! The bleu burger is awesome if you like bleu cheese

Both quality of food & service have vastly declined over the past several months, eat in & takeout. My order was wrong again today & completely cold. Called back to discuss w management, held on but didn't get to speak w anyone. This has been our regular go to spot for awhile and have enjoyed supporting local, but cannot support poor quality, very disappointing.

I went here for a lunch interview. The environment was nice. A little noisy due to lunch rush but it was a nice atmosphere overall. I was apart of a party of about ten people. We were seated quickly after arriving. The food was really good. The sweet potato fries are really good. Salads their are really yummy. I definitely plan to go back and try more food.

Now that i have come here a few more times the food has gotten better. I love the mandarin salad. They also have pretty good wings. It's for sure a take your kids to cheap lunch after their baseball game type of place. I don't feel like cooking tonight let's go to Sports page type deal. The food is good and the staff is friendly.

Never order takeout. We love to eat in house. The staff is so nice but every time we order takeout the food is awful. The wait can be ridiculous. 40 minutes for a burger and salad then my burger was so overcooked I couldn't enjoy it and the fries were cold.

Excellent service and food. Tonight I tried their grilled Caribbean Whitefish that came with rice and was topped with pineapple salsa. I chose their beer battered Onion Rings and Cole Slaw for my sides. It was enough food for 2 full meals.

Overall the food is really good but inconsistent. I used to go 1-2 times each week. I've experienced chicken thighs for my bones, cinnamon sugar in my sweet potato friend and then none, the portion sizes fluctuate all the time. The food l is honestly fantastic in terms of flavor but because the portions have been ALL OVER THE PLACE, and inconsistent food I have to give it a 3 star. I haven't been in a while maybe I'll go soon and see what's what. They have great service as well.

not a sports bar! I was talking sports and laughing with 5 co-workers today and was asked by waitress to keep it down because table behind us was trying to eat lunch peacefully? wth never returning because food was mediocre and ambiance was decent tI'll this encounter

I've been coming here since you guys were on the strip mall on brookshire. BJ was the BEST!!! I moved away and recently relocated until I receive my next assignment. I came in today for lunch after being told you guys had amazing Cubans. (They are my absolute favorite thing) I don't know what that was, it was not a Cuban. The bread was soggy there was no Swiss cheese and very little meat. So, I ordered the breaded chicken Alfredo. The best part of that was the side salad. The Alfredo had no taste, neither did the chicken. I am guessing the bartender was having a bad day. So, I hope I cheered her up a little. The best part about this experience was the two ladies next to me, who were having a hilarious conversation. I was don't mind paying for the food. I only took one bite out of the Cuban, prior to dissecting to see a pound of mustard. Thankfully, I chose to wear yellow today. I had really missed this place. Too bad it's nothing like it used to be

Yes the decor is dated, yes the food isnt amazing all the time, and yes this is a locals pub/restaurant. But come on people its a sports bar/restaurant!! You can't be expecting 5 star food at a sports bar!! Honestly its really pretty decent place to pick up a meal. The Sports Page is just a block away from my parents house so I tend to come at least once when I'm visiting for a meal or two. When you first enter you can go to the left for the bar or right for the restaurant. There are tons of sports memorabilia on the walls to look at and tables and booths to sit at. But be warned the booth seats are dead and need new springs, some of them make you feel like a midget. And of course there are plenty of TVs around so you can keep up with the game. The bar area also has a small stage and they have bands come and play music usually every week. The guaranteed winner every time is their Steak Salad its really tasty and filling. I've had their St. Louis Ribs and they are just ok. I guess I need to try more items but its hard when I only get there every once in a while. The service is friendly and my parents know most of the waitresses as they are regulars at the Sports Page. Overall its a good place to eat if you're in the area, and if you want to watch a game with your buds I'd say the bar would be a solid choice also.

The fried mozzarella is great. The hoagie is one of my favorite things. Specials are usually good too. Salads are hit and miss. The chicken is almost always rubbery. I've had cold fries a lot and I've had to return them. I hope the food quality improves.

I've lived in the area over 10 years and have only eaten here twice. The parking lot stays packed so that says something... right? The menu is the usual wings, burgers/sandwiches and steak/ribs. I like that they offer online ordering so I will make use of that in the future. I had the chicken wings this time around via take out. They were cooked and sauced perfectly. I'll likely stop in more often to try their other offerings.

Tried to call to place a to go order on 8/10/23 stayed on hold for 10 minutes 3 different times until deciding it wasn't worth it anymore. Very unpleased that not only did no one answer for take out but you can't place orders online as the website advertised.

We live in the area and have been frequent customers for a couple years. The service has gone downhill significantly in the past few months to the point where we no longer want to eat here again. Our final visit was about 3 weeks ago. My husband accidentally spilled a full glass of ice water all over the table, himself, and me. We were soaking wet, and so were the booth seats next to us - there was nowhere to escape to. Our server said she's bring us some towels. Well first she took another table's order, then entered it in the system, then disappeared in the back for about 15 minutes. She finally comes back to our table 20 minutes later with one teeny tiny towel. No napkins, nothing else. Then she takes her sweet time getting us the check while we're sitting there still soaking wet. That was just the final straw. We've had extremely long waits to get our food (over an hour) when they weren't even that busy, and then the food came out cold. Never any apologies or explanations. The servers act like they're doing us a favor by doing their job. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Management needs to really make a lot of changes. It's very sad because it used to be so good.

Came to the bar area to eat midday since the dining room was closed. Bartender never even glanced at us. We sat over 10 minutes and I finally asked someone how to order. She informed the bartender should help us. I told her the woman at the bar hasn't. She said she'd talk to her. Then the bartender said she'd have somebody else help us. About 3 employees just walked past us like nothing. I won't pay an establishment where I feel I'm inconveniencing the staff. Left and went to Jackie Boys where we were greeted right away.

Pretty much what you expect from the Sports Bar scene. The restaurant and bar are separated which is nice for families. The decor is a bit run down but it's right in line with the expectation. The menu is huge for such a small place. Lots of bar essentials like nachos, burgers, and wings. We split the nachos and the pimento burger. The nachos were good with cheese melted on them, not a sauce. The ground beef had tons of seasoning and mixed into the layers of chips. The guacamole, salsa, and sour cream on the side were good placement. The burger was well cooked but still had tons of flavor. The additional toppings were a little much but really good at the same time. The bread was too thick but still had good flavor. The fries were pretty standard and didn't have any weird residual flavor from other items. The service was good and you can tell they work as a team. It's a very casual spot so stop by anytime.
