My husband and I recently went here on a Saturday morning after going to the Farmer's Market. We were very fortunate that Tammy (Tami?) was bartending as she made the best Bloody Mary I've had in a very long while. She said that they don't always add all the fixings to the drink, but she was that morning. I've attached a picture so you can see how amazing it looked. It tasted as good as it looked, too. Later we asked if she made Mojitos, and she said she did. She went to the garden they had outside and was not pleased with the condition of the mint, so she had her daughter bring fresh mint from her own garden just for us! Wow! It was refreshing and delicious. We had a great experience.

Lisa was a good bartender and very sweet. You must stop and visit this place and see her. Very cool dive bar.

Didn't eat while I was there just had drinks at the bar..atmosphere was great service was great..had pool tables..have to stop in if you are in town

staff is very friendly and the manager is very knowledgeable. recommend for a good time for drinks and for a bit of historical atmosphere.

This is my favorite bar. This bar opened in 1906. Good prices and good people.

Lot of history here - kinda divey but I like that. Karen was fantastic - warm & great conversation. Made me feel really welcome. Hope I make it by again soon, would love to stop in again.

Oldest continuous bar on Route 66. Kind folks and strong drinks at a great price, rodeo and football on the tvs and live music - perfection for this traveler.

Paid almost 8 bucks for a bloody Mary, they made it with spoiled mixer, drank a 1/4 of it and walked out

One of my favorite honky Tonks in Downtown Kingman Arizona. Great place to bring friends for a few drinks, the barmaids are sexy too!

Ooo cute bartender. APPARENTLY this bar has been a functioning bar since 1906!!! So it even looks old. Beautiful. They have snacks and as far as ik, that's pretty much it. Drinks are very good tbh. Thanks y'all!

I've been going to Sportsman's Club, or as us locals lovingly call it, Sportie's, for decades. It's seen it's share of good and okay. But I have NEVER seen it GREAT...until now. It's been updated a little, but not so much that it's lost it's eclectic downtown Kingman charm. The vibe is great and the new bartending crew and management is TOP-NOTCH, these Gals hustle!. Great crowd. Good vibes and within walking distance of the many amazing downtown restaurants. If you're looking to belly up for a cold beer or fabulous cocktails, Make Sportsman's club your first stop!

We were looking for a fun afternoon spot with some games to play. We were early afternoon so they weren't very busy. The bartender was very friendly. We played some pinball and had a drink. They also have a pool table, darts, and shuffleboard, all of which we did not play. Of the local bars in town, this was one of the better ones.

the name does not match the attitude we received from the female bartender. she did not say a thing when my friend put the coins into the pool table but as soon as we started getting ready to play, she claimed that the other patrons reserved the table to play and although we had permission to play a game while they were enjoying a cigarette outside did not believe us and almost wanted to make a scene by trying to amp up the situation by winking at the patrons to try and go back on their word which was completely unsportsman-like. i am very upset with the bartender's behavior, she did not handle this situation professionally and was completely uncalled for and honestly i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, i'd give it no stars if i could!!

You really can't be mad while visiting this joint. Being a kid that grew up in the dive bars of Southern Wisconsin, this place made me feel right at home. The perfect blend of sanitation and cold beer made it a new favorite spot. My first visit was on a Saturday evening, and although it was busy, there was never a time that I felt like my needs were being neglected as a drinker. My beer was always cold and full in front of me. There were a few rowdies, but really, how could you not expect a few? The only downside I might see to the place is that...well, hold on, nope, can't think of one. The bar is long enough to fit all the buddies you might tote along, the pool tables are ready for your sharking needs, and the juke box was promising. If you need condoms while visiting, there's usually a basket brim full of them in the ladies room. Maybe, just maybe this is my new favorite joint, not because of the last statement. You can be totally unassuming and have a great time, unless you have a stick up your butt, and if you do, seriously, get that checked out.

Talk about the hidden gem of the desert! In my opinion it's the only worthy stop on Route 66. On our way from the land of liquor (Las Vegas), we found ourselves at home in this paradise of an oasis serving us the finest beers at 11am. We were greeted by the warmest welcome. We now understand why the temperatures in Arizona reach triple digits. The bar temptress was so hot she would melt your snow cone. If you are as lucky as us, you might get the chance to meet some towns folk. One of whom (face 5 body 6) just got out of a funeral and had a wedding to attend in the same day but still had time to get one the bars world famous bloody Mary's. You didn't hear this from me but if you fine the dollar bill on the wall that reads... "B one R" tell the bar keep you found that bill and receive "one" free Black Russian. One more thing there was an odd sign behind the bar and I'm not sure what it means but it read "No Colors"

My wife and I stopped in on our Sunday ride. Asked the bartender if we could play music on their music box. Dropped $10 in machine, first she turned it down where we couldn't hear. Then turned it off cause she wasn't "feeling the music." George Thorogood on a Sunday afternoon. We will NOT be going back. When bike week comes around in April, I'll drop a note this place is NOT bike friendly. I only put one star as it would not let me post without doing that

We were looking for a good "Dive Bar" while in Kingman, this is what we were looking for. The bar is about 100 years old, has character and has reasonably priced drinks with friendly bartenders.

Ah, the Sportsmans Club in Kingman. It is a fine Dive bar (if fine can truly be used to describe a dive). It is not fancy, the drinks are cheap and it is OLD!!! 104 years old in 2011, in fact! Sure, it is a little worn, a little run down- But those are GOOD things in a dive bar. Heck, it IS a dive bar-not a wine bar! Lots of variety on the Jukebox to appeal to all ages. And it has a REALLY tall ceiling! Victorian era tall. If you visit the Route 66 town of Kingman and like dives-you should check this one out!

This is my favorite bar in town! Frankie, Torianna (sorry if i spelt that wrong), and Dwayne are super friendly and makes me feel at home everytime i come! Ps: ask dwayme for an area 51 shot

First time here, great bar excellent crowd and the bartenders are Awesome. Angie has to be the best bartender I've seen in years. Great place.

Total dump. Cockroaches running around. And the day bartender overserves the patrons. She has a high pitch voice and strawlike hair. She's half drunk usually and her body shows it!!!

I will forever have some of the best memories at this bar, but sadly they changed up bartenders and it's awful now. I will no longer support them! I will be taking my business to the great staff at The Fireside!

A great place to have a cold beer and play a game of pool with the locals. Over 100 years old (and looks its age), this place is what I will forever picture in mind when someone talks about a "dive bar". The bartender was great, the locals were friendly, the drinks were cheap, and the beer was ice cold. If you are ever in Kingman and you want a beer - this is the place to go! (Not that you have too many other choices in town). Just enough grime and dirt to lend authenticity and character!! Just keep your sense of humor and be nice to the locals and you will hear some cool stories.

Pretty chill here needs AC for the summer for sure. Nice Bar tenders music is loud always good.

Biker dive bar my favorite. Super friendly bartender funny as hell. This place was full of character and characters. Looks like a dive bar out of a movie and ice cold beer. Really loud metal blasting and two pinball machines. ACDC and the Sopranos I was in pinball heaven. If only it was closer to my hotel it could have been a long night.

Yes. This is an old dive bar but the people are friendly and the booze is cheap. If you want to go where there locals hang late night then stop by the Sportsmans Club.

Great dive bar ! Went in on a busy Saturday night and played some pool ( only 50 cents ) I was able to get my beer promptly, friendly service, no complaints

Great dive bar. Cheap drinks, 100 year old decor. Tin ceilings and a lot of wood fixtures. Pool and shuffleboard. Bartender Matt was really friendly.

Went here last night; had a wonderful kick back and all around great time! The music on Oct 27th was amazing! Please let us know when they are back again. I want to bring my friends. Service was AMAZING

Best bar in Kingman... maybe the world! Drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is fun! But the staff is what makes the place! Love the bartenders and bouncers!

Unfortunately I am a local and have been here a few times before. Tonight I had the rudest comments ever from a bartender after I ordered my second shot, second drink of the evening) and asked for an ice water chaser. Was flat out denied the ice water. The alleged owner was also very rude to my friend and I earlier in the evening but I tried to blow it off because I didn't want our night out to be ruined by one asshole. Absolute worst place I have ever been to in 20+ years.

Always great service and nice people. Dolly Silva is a sweet soul and it was fun hanging out and shooting pool. We came back through and stopped because of her. If you ever go through Kids Neman stop by and have a coldly.

Gritty old school bar. Historic old building. Really like this place. If your uppity try it out and maybe you like it. If not there is always Vegas.

Awesome old town Kingman legend cheap booze and awesome divey decor. As a multi generational resident of Kingman I love going to the place my grandpa got swacked at in the 1930s ..did I mention the place is 104 years old you'll love it...a taste of the old west that never stopped existing..

Literally a hole in the wall dive bar, but the bartender is amazing and she knows how to make a proper drink. It's historic and the locals love it. Jukebox and pool tables are always a plus and they have a decent back patio.

Love this bar!! I love the relaxed atmosphere, the liquor selection is great, and the bartender Toryanna is by far my favorite in town.

Brilliant! A lot of fun. It is a place where the crowd comes in slowly over the period of the evening. When I arrived around 8 p.m. there were only two other customers. When I left a few hours later, there were about 20 patrons. Nice vibes.

I love this bar! It's the kind of place where you're never alone. Everyone knows each other and it's a weird mix of tourists (from Italy and other crazy places), bikers, and hipsters. If you want the scoop on Kingman, this is where you go.

Stopped for lunch and refreshing beers. Sampled a flight and would be hard pressed to select a favorite. Although I think the cranberry ale may have won by a hair. Pizza was delicious. Light crisp crust. Nicely seasoned sauce. Fresh onions and pepperoni. Yummy. Hubby had wings with lemon pepper and he said they were really good. Well prepared with just the right balance of spice and flavor. Will stop here again if we are in t1he area.

This review is more about the help than the bar. The bar manager was unfriendly and never spoke to us as we sat at the bar. I had my drink from the previous shift, so I did not order from her nor will I go back there. I guess she must family because she sure as hell didn't act like she wanted to impress strangers. Try one of the better bars on 4th, they like new business and are friendly.

it was a dive bar hands down lol but for drinks come on you could do better price wise the bar had everything you need though thats for sure shuffle board pool tables the crack heads in the corner so you can make fun of them a jukebox and an alright selection of liquor so i give it a solid 3

It could be a great dive, which was what I was looking for. Unfortunately the bartenders don't have a clue about their drinks. If you don't have the mixers? Fine, let me know. Not every drink has a root beer alcohol equivalent. I'll order something else, I get it. But to disguise it and say every bar in AZ does the same, well my mixologists behind the bar, you need some more training. I simply asked for a replacement for my Jack and Ginger that was some mix of whiskey, sprite and bitters, to a simple whiskey sprite...and they charged me for both! I didn't get what I asked for in the first place. They took both away and to asked me to leave. Happy to do so. Learn your effing drinks,bartenders

A great local bar with a ton of history behind it. Prices are affordable, bar staff are attentive and friendly. They will make you feel welcome. Nothing fancy here, but a good place to meet and drink with the locals.

perfect dive bar to throw back some beers waiting on the train to pull into the station next door. five stars for the locals: drunk girls falling off their chairs during a jukebox Journey singalong, guys inviting me to play pool, friendly bartender, and two dudes in ball caps and sweatpants kissing each other by the pinball machines. nicely done kingman.
