Spot Bistro

We brought our entire church team to Spot Bistro to celebrate our leaders, and overall had a great experience! A few highlights and notes from our meal: • Smothered Porkchops: Flavorful and tasty, though a bit on the tough side and not quite the traditional “smothered” style we were expecting. • Beef Burger: A solid choice—juicy and flavorful. Personally, I prefer a thinner smash-style burger, so it felt a little bulky, but others may enjoy that heartier style. • Bistro Steak: Cooked to the right temperature with spot-on seasoning. Definitely a winner. • Shrimp Alfredo: Creamy, well-balanced, and the pasta was nicely cooked—not mushy, which we appreciated. The restaurant itself is still new, and while you can see a few finishing touches are in progress, it’s clear they’re on their way to creating a great dining atmosphere. We enjoyed celebrating here, and with a little more time to grow into their space, Spot Bistro is shaping up to be a nice addition to the dining scene.

We tried this place for the first time and loved it! Our host was the owners daughter who was so sweet and pleasant. We had the shrimp scampi which comes in a large bowl with plenty of sauce and delicious buttered French bread. It was a 10/10. We also had the fried green tomatoes which were battered nicely but could use a tad more seasoning. With the sauce, it was a hit though. It was a 8/10. The stuffed cat fish was delicious, but we didn’t love the stuffing. However, if you are a fan of stuffing, you’ll like it. It was a 8/10. Lastly, we had the skillet (I think it was called big easy or big plenty). It had eggs, bell peppers, onions, cheese, potatoes, sausage, chicken and shrimp and comes with toast. It was a 10/10. I will be ordering this again.

I went with family for brunch and EVERYTHING was good. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because 1 they had that adult rnb going (my mom was so uncomfortable lol) including playing 3 R. Kelly songs and we're done with that monster, and also that tap water tasted like Chicago pipes. But I had the shrimp and grits and side of French toast it was 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Went on Tuesday 16 Sep..the decor the service the libations 😋 and definitely the food this chef doing the damn thing 👏🏽 ..black owned yes!!! We need to patronize this outstanding place..a gem in Englewood plenty of free parking..the presentation of the food on the beautiful black & gold dinnerware so classy..check the hours..we went at noon breakfast wasn't being served only on weekends but baby they fried me some salmon croquettes..my mouth exploded from the well seasoned patties..baby bye 👋🏽 😋..kudos to the whole establishment.. yeeeees!!!Definitely will be back!!!Plz check hours before you go they are different from what's posted..so patronize to get better hours!!!

This restaurant is JUST opening. It's a very nice, sit-down restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the menu 😋 More things like slushy machines are still being added. I had the Peach Cobbler pancakes with a side of bacon as my inaugural breakfast meal. It was DE-LI-CIOUS . The food came out streaming hot. The pancakes are light and fluffy and the flavor was on point. You should really come through, dine-in and support this restaurant. If you can't find the time, you can always put in your order to go.

We went there on a Sunday was not that busy I order the Gumbo wife had the lamb chops food was excellent

Very nice spot! The atmosphere was great and the employees were EXTREMELY friendly! We felt welcome from the time we walked in until we left. I had the stuffed catfish. Originally it came with seafood dressing stuffed with chicken , shrimp, bell peppers and a chicken andouille cream sauce. I’m allergic to seafood so I had veggie dressing instead. The food was hot and delicious.

Did a pick-up order. The stuffed catfish was not what I was expecting. The fish was grilled, and the stuffing seemed to be made with Jiffy mix, and the whole thing was coated in the adouille sauce. No one liked it. Everything else was good.
